"Very well ..." he was not attempting to dissuade her, instead he lead the way on, paranoid at every sound though he had no reason to be. Getting to the crypt was fairly easy/ Nothing rushed them fro, the bushes as one seemed to expect the closer they got to the place though it almost certainly pointed at the fact that it was somewhere inside.

"Wait here, I'll go scout matters out." He disappeared then as he snuck ahead towards the crypt. She was alone for perhaps ten minutes before he retuned.

"It's inside in the chamber with the chalice, I don't think it saw me but it was just there laying in the shadows, waiting it seemed."

Shall we go inside then...? Or..we need to prepare something before we go in?'' Valentine started to feel nervous since the guardian will kill anyone without hesitation, at least that's what Valentine thought of the deadly guardian in the crypt.

"I will try to draw it out and allow you to try to get at the chalice while it's busy, unless of course you can think of some thing else."

'' I..I think we'll just follow your plans..B..but...please don't die ok? Y..you see, I still have to thank you for it..'' They slowly walk towards the door of the crypt, slowly push the heavy door open. They notice the guardian was still inside the chamber.

"I won't die." H could make no guarentees though he found himself complying with her words. He had he hide nearby as he went forth watching the shadows where the guardian laid ... guardian? All she saw was a fox that was wathcing as the hunter approached. He tucked his dagger into his belt, notched an arrow and took aim.

The hunter was aware that he couldn't really harm the beast with it but he was trying to provoke the best into responding, noticing that the beast stood, growled and watched aware of what arrows could do Valentine assumed at the hunter let fly an arrow at the target.

The fox opened it's jaws emitting an orange glow even as it moved with incredible speed, the arrow barely grazed it, a magical gout of flame fired from it's jaws causing the hunter to fall back and enter an evasive pattern at once.

So far so good as the guardian charged him, smoke billowing from it's jaws as it rushed the hunter who dropped the bow, wiped out a dagger and fell back to the outside of the crypt the creature following at least for the moment,

''Th..that's the guardian!?'' Valentine never thought that the guardian would be a fox, what she thought was the guardian being a golem or something huge. She hide herself behind a pillar watching as the battle between the hunter and the guardian started in a flash.

The guardian was intend a fox or looked like one anyway. A fire breathing vicious fox immune to most weapons that savagaely attacked anyone setting foot here. The hunter had to play a dangerous came, firing at it to gain it's attention then falling back before being incinerated but stay close enough where the fox would persue.

It gave chase, not sensing her hidden beside on of the pillars as it raced past. The chamber ended in a door, that once opened led into a vault that was magically light there was a large fountain here, the middle of which contained a dias on which rested a stone cover.

There was a chalice here resting on a shelf and the tears of the king had to be the water around the coffin. She did not know for certain if she had to use the chalice to drink from the waters or if she was to take the chalice itself for another purpose.

When she realize there was a door at the end of the chamber, she silently go towards the door and walk into a vault. She knew this is the tears of the king. When she thinks of how to drink the water, she realize there's chalice on a shelf, so she use them to drink the tears of the king. Right after she drinks it, nothing really did happen yet.

The water was refreshing to drink, yet nothing seemed to immediately happen leaving her to wonder if there was something that she had to do to activate it's powers, or perhaps it already was at work and she didn't know it. She had to decide what to do rather quick, the fox was likely to return and while the guardian was small it was indeed fierce so it would no doubt drive the hunter off or kill him and return here. It wouldn't be too surprising if it were already on it's way back.

'' Why isn't working!? W...wait..'' Valentine starts to recall what had the sage say back then, about how it'll only work under the moonlight, and it was afternoon now! She started to feel hopeless and sit on the floor thinking what had she done, and why could she forgot something that important and she didn't even told the hunter about it.

Perhaps it did work but she could only use the power under the light of the moon. Either she could choose to test out that theory tonight or come back here to drink the water that night. Drinking in the crypt may not be 100% effective either and she might have to drink in under the light of the moon meaning that she had to steal the chalice and a cupful of water ...

She was here now so there was the option of stealing a cupful of water and drinking it tonight under the light of the moon since she could not be guarenteed that the hunter was still alive and that she'd be so lucky to have a distraction such as this again. Whatever she chose to do it would have to be fast since the guardian may very well be on it's way back effectively trapping her in this room.

After Valentine steal some water, she decides to stay inside the vault and wait for nightfall. She think that since the door was shut tight she would be safe inside. Nothing still happen as she wait, and slowly she felt tired and fell asleep in the vault.

"the guardian didn't bother her either it did not have opposable thumbs to open the door was was calmly waiting for her outside, Whatever the case though she was unmolested for the time being and while there were no windows and she could only guess at the passage of time before sleep over took her.

She felt as if she had been mortified as the door slowly opens, something was out there, the flickering light of the torch filtering into the room from outside the chamber. While she had woken she could feel a warmth, almost a queizness within the pit of her stomach as if something had taken hold there ...

''Ermmm...what was that...feel...uhhh..'' Valentine was half-awake when she realize something warm of her stomach. She wonder what was that feel, but decide to ignore since she was all sleepy.

She had chosen to ignore the warmness she now felt unusure as to what to make of it when her half sleep was broken as the door opened, slow at first as the flickering light of a torch spilt into the chamber. She could see the humanoid silohette of someone.

"Miss?" the voice belonging to the hunter as the door was pushed opened further and he entered letting out a relieved sigh when he had seen that she was still alive. Guardian 0 and they scored 1. The guardian was killed some distance from this place though it had not been at free of cost to him. His clothes were signed in places, he had been bitten in others, burned in some and covered in the gore of both his body and that of the guardian.

"Thank the gods you're still alive."
