Post Re: Failure (for Alynia)
There was a tingling sensation in that ring as she brushed it. She was gone in a second. Her entorage had vanished or rather she had left that scene well behind her as she appeared at Oberron's side. Had he been the “real” Oberron she might have ended up in the presence of Puck, Oberon's blood flowed through him after all but the ring was tuned to Oberron and his blood. It would have been fooled in his absence but he had no children, no heirs here of the like and thus she was pulled to Avalon.

Her sudden appearance spooked a pair of elven guards, who managed to draw their blades as they recovered quickly and were about to set upon Alynia when a weakened Oberron paused them, then dismissed him.

He was in some sort of white structure she could tell. The room she was in was rather large and she had been a little distance away, magical scribers were on the floor and beneath the bed so that an individual would not be able to teleport straight to his side.

The elves exited the chamber and there was a lot of white light filtering into the chamber form outsid.

Oberron had been asleep though the call of the ring recently woke him. He shifted, several pilllows behind his back as he shifted into a better sitting position.

He gestured his queen forward and while he looked quite pale and weak he was still his normal size. He smiled though happy to see her even if he had not wanted her to see him in such a weakened state.

“I was hoping that you would use the ring soon since I could not get to you. Welcome to Avalon.”

He made a gesture about him though there was really nothing in the chamber currently besides the bed and himself. He smiled at her though and bid her closer patting the bed beside him as he shifted.

It was a large bed, easily big enough for the two of them though there had been dozens of pillos at the head of the bed. He turned to better face her. He may have looked like crap but at least he was smiling.

“I cannot leave this room. Nor to I have the magic to draw upon the illusions right now so I was wondering if you could do me a favor.

“My guards are useess when it comes to magic but my queen isn't. I don't know if you have been keeping up with your training in my absence but you already proved that you possess the power of creation magic, forming something from nothing. That is difficult, this is easy, or you should find it easy.

“Now clear you head and breath. Focus on that room in the tower, how familiar it is. The trees, the animals. How peaceful that concealing a drape tower room is. Create that oasis of life. Something much more suited than rather bland walls.

“You are here for a visit?” He glanced at the illusionary ring then back up at her. “I am glad you came.”

Post Re: Failure (for Alynia)
~

Suddenly there was an airy hit glow within her as she began to feel her body grow lighter, and more faint. The others looked around with curiosity, Mezzo even made another grab for her crying for her not to leave. But Alynia was speechless as she also didn't know what was happening. It was only when she blinked her eyes did she find herself in a large white chamber. Before she could really observe where she had transported there was a soft swish and two blades were turned upon her, but a weak voice had stopped them.

Alynia's breath caught in her throat as she recognized the voice of Oberron even if it was tired and drained of magic.
Her heart fluttered as she couldn't help but stare as his form. She has him a nervous smile in return as he smiled at her. It was only when they were alone did Alynia dare approach his bed side. She realized that it was her ring, the magical gem encrusted ring that had brought her here. This honestly surprised her, for she had been under the impression that the magical jewelry only worked in her own realm. Maybe she hadn't even thought hat her husband would be conscious; she didn't know how the regeneration process for Fey worked.

She looked at him with a deep expression. There was so much she wanted to say and tell him, so much she wanted him to know. But for some reason she couldn't speak. She was afraid to be near him, the queen did not feel worthy of the man who loved her.

Despite the tension she was feeling, Alynia couldn't help but laugh softly at his words. "It's beautiful." She mused quietly turning her head so she could see a bit out of the window. All she could see we're a few lush green mountains and a cloud dotted sky, but that was all she needed to see to recognize that this realm would be wondrous. Despite, Alynia couldn't keep her eyes off of Oberron, but she blushed when she realized she was staring. How was it possible to make him understand what she was feeling? The turmoil of emotions tumbling through her: Love, regret, joy, confusion.

Silently Alynia closed her eyes with difficulty pulling her mind away, she followed Oberron's calm orders taking a deep breathe and pictured a lovely forest clearing. A few moments of silence, she blinked open her eyes to see instead of the shattered light from the window, there was shattered light from the tree canopy above. The leaves reflected the illusionary sunlight causing the entire room to look a shade of emerald green. The clearing was encased in a green umbrage, the trees were made of dark trunks. It was a very soothing and relaxing place to be, just as Alynia had pictured it.

Still quiet, the queen obeyed as she climbed onto the bed besides her husband sitting as close to him as she dared. Hesitantly Alynia leaned over Oberron, trying to convince herself to kiss him. Their lips lingered closer and closer, until she shifted to plant a gentle loving kiss on his cheek. She bit he lip and pulled away, fearing that if she had kissed him on the lips he would be able to taste the unseelie taint upon her.

Alynia blinked, there were tears glistening in her eyes as she was so afraid that Gersham was right, that Oberron would not love her since she had been tricked to giving herself to the Black Prince.

Alynia didn't know what to say. She didn't want to tell him that she was suppose to escape the prince by returning to her realm until he healed. He was in such a delicate she was afraid any shocking information would distress him.

"I'm glad you seem to be doing alright." Alynia responded quietly truly meaning her words. "I was worried sick about you."

Post Re: Failure (for Alynia)
Oberron smiled at the change of scenery. He had thought that it was too drap and it proved that Alynia was still in touch with her magical gifting. Of course magic was enhance here too but even in such a weakened state Oberron was still cagey, stilll observant and he could tell that there was something weighing on the mind of the queen.

She seemed far more restrained now and he could only think that it might have been as a result of what happened since he was banished from the realm upon his 'death'. Birch and Summer he had surmised at least initially but what happened there could not be helped.

Had she felt ashamed of it? He could not say for certain though she was staring at him, there was something weighing upon her mind but she turned to him and moved a bit closer, then closer still. He did not rush her though allowing her to come to him at herown pace.

But her lips pressed against his cheek last minute, rather than his lips and that alone set of warning bells. If that wasn't enough his cheek was aflame as if somewhat set a match to it.

He jerked suddenly, eyes going wide as he slapped at his cheek.

“Get back! Don't touch me!” his words spoken with a bit of haste, a look of horror danced over his features as he looked to his queen. Lips or cheek both were telling of course. He knew. He knew something had not been right though her choice in selecting his check would have been far better than the alternative.

His violet eyes stared at her and had he not been in such a wretched state he would have sensed it. He should have sensed it the moment that she drew close but he could see the alarmed look in the eyes of his wife and he knew that there was aa story there that she wanted to tell him but was not sure as to how to address it. He made it a little easier on her as he was the one that initiated the questions and they streamed out of him then.

He looked angry, frown lines appearing on his brow as he leaned forward, sat up with what strength that he possessed.

That seemed to take too much effort on his part though he cast his gaze at her. “What happened? You were with Gersham, correct?” He seemed genuniely upset as he stared at her, though due to his weakened condition he was nowhere near what he had been like with Corwin some time back.

She had half expected him to rise, to do something, though he didn't do much more than sit forward, his hand wiping at his cheek then wiping his fingers on the bed sheet. Where she had made contact with his she could see that the cheek was reddened as if it had been irritated by something. He looked at her for answers, a bit confused perhaps.

Post Re: Failure (for Alynia)
Alynia gasped softly pulling back abruptly as Oberron let out a hiss of pain. The illusion she had orginstelyncasted flickered, but managed to retain its form. Alynia placed a hand over her lips in shock that she had hurt him. His abrupt words had hurt her, even though she should have prepared for no better. Alynia's eyes fell downcast. With tear brimmed wide eyes she watched the red mark on his cheek form as he tried to wipe away her affection.

"I-I'm sorry.." She rasped out weakly. Her eyes remained trained upon the red burn scarring Oberron's handsome face still in disbelief if was she who had hurt him. Alynia's eyes wandered from his cheek to his purple eyes and retaliated under the glare. He was angry and hurt, and Alynia hated that it was because of her foolish mistake that he was like this. His eyes were a stormy dark violet casting a shadow over his features. Despite the strength of his expression and how it effected the queen, his body was still weak.

As he demanded an explanation Alynia could only nod, as her voice was disobeying her and her logic had gone numb. He knew, it was so obvious Alynia felt guilty hat what had happened to her was not the first words to spill from her lips. Slowly she raised from the bed and walked around, kneeling on the floor near the edge of the side of the bed her husband was sitting. Maybe subliminally she was trying to tell him, currently she didn't feel as she belong at the same level as him. Leaning onto the bed she looked up fearfully at Oberron.

"He might have known you were weak." Alynia said softly. "He convinced phebes into kidnapping me." Her eyes looked pained and guilty. "Gersham touched me." She admitted ducking her head in shame unable to look directly at her king. "Oberron, he did more than touch me.." She told him quietly unable to tell him lies. "He tricked me, and I'm sorry for being foolish enough to fall into his trap." The tears in Alynia's eyes glistened like gems, she was so ashamed and angry with herself. The very last thing she wanted to do was to hurt Oberron, but unfortunately that's what it seems she did.

Post Re: Failure (for Alynia)
Oberron leaned back into the pillows, discomforted by the flaring pain that was coursing through his cheek but he was sure that he got all the moisture he could off of his skin. It would burn no doubt, there was no stopping that though if their lips had connected, had that poison entered into him in his weakened state … he shuddered to think what would have happened if that was the case.

Alynia fled from the bed and he could see the tears forming in her eyes as she knelt at the foot of the bed. That same stormy look in his eyes until the tears had gotten larger, until he had some form of explaination on what had gone on.

He was angry, he had no need to raise his voice, it was contained in his eyes as he gazed at her from the bed, his eyes folding closed, his head tilting back. He said nothing for the longest time, yet he had not dismissed her either. At last he opened her eyes gazing at her, he shook his head slight as he witnessed the concern in her eyes, the shame that was there.

“I'm sorry,” he began to her surprise, shifting upon the bed. “Rise.”

And while that look had not vanished from his eyes it had softened a bit. There had been no knowing what he was thinking though he slowly explained to add to her understanding. “It is not your fault though you are poisonous to me now. Had I been stronger I might have sensed it sooner. It is difficult to detect though I can.

“The unseelie and the seelie cannnot mix … well, there is more too it but you are not ready for it yet.” He paused briefly as he gazed at her, forced a weak smile upon his lips. “A piety, seeing how I could have used leeching some power from you now more than ever. Even when you were a prioner in Sable's care I had more power than I have now.

“You will remain poisonous to me for about a month. It was nothing intentional on your part … I was just as shoocked as you when I felt the burning. I assumed Gersham, he's the only unseelie I know about that has returned though it didn't have to be him but another. Any unseelie in fact.” He sighed, offered her up a weak smile then patted the bed beside him again.

“You cannot touch me. Transfering of fluids in any form will more than burn through your saliva, through your fluids while the essence of the unseelie is within you.

“Gersham had to be discomforted too though not to this state. No, not to this state but there is a reason why he dislikes the taste of the fey. You would have that lingering tast on you for some time so I am surprise that he would have ...” he paused. “Do not be afraid. Your touch can only burn if we make contact of skin upon skin.

“I am upset, though not with you. How could I be?” he smiled. “At Phebes, yes. At Gersham. There was a reason I told you to stay clear of Phebes though I would not have expected this from him. He will come to regret his decision. His nature as a satyr might have been forgiveable … this, however, is downright treasonous.”

Post Re: Failure (for Alynia)
The silence tortured her. Alynia could feel her own heart beating as she repented what had done. She had seen Oberron angry before, but not in the same way as this. He looked hurt as well as disappointed in her but to the greatest relief she could have ever felt, the cold piercing gaze of his softened as his eyes blinked opened.

Alynia had not moved from his side of the bed, her eyes glistened with tears but she was silent as she looked back at him with a timid shamed expression. For a brief moment they locked eyes, her heart felt as if it was going to burst. The intense feeling of shame burned through her. Alynia wanted nothing more than to take back this horrible development of events that had left her up to the point where she couldn’t even touch the man she loved.

A small sigh of utter relief escape her as he spoke, not of sending her away, not of accusations but of understanding. She had to hold herself back from embracing him. If such a small kiss could cause so much damage, she suspected such contact might potentially kill him. She nodded as she comprehended his words.

She stood as he told her to looking at him with a nervous expression. She wanted to give him the energy he needed, but she simply was unable to. Alynia bit her lip; this was going to be pure torture being unable to touch each other for an entire month. She did not speak though for she was in no position to complain. His smile comforted her, but she was not entirely at ease.

Resting back besides him, Alynia curled up as close to him as she dared. She looked at him with an apologetic expression and wiped the tears from her face though she couldn’t help but continue to cry. “I’m so sorry.” She apologized. “It’s my fault for being so gullible. And then he told me how you wouldn’t have been able to forgive me afterwards…” she whispered shuddering. A painful expression on her features.

“The last thing I had wanted to do was to hurt you. I’m so sorry that I have.” Alynia couldn’t keep the apologies from spilling from her lips. “I missed you, such a short time you were gone and yet…” her voice trailed off. “I wish it was possible for me to touch you… I want you so badly.” She admitted wiping away her tears again. The girl had been denied release for quite some time, secretly she had hoped her husband would have been able to relieve her but she was happy enough just to know that Oberron did not harbor any hatred toward her after what had happened.

Though it was expected, she didn’t want to her king to be upset. She had a strong feeling that everything Gersham did to her, was in spite of Oberron. It pained her to see that the prince had succeeded. There was a moment of quiet as the tears gradually ceased, and her weeping gradually silenced. She let out a shaky breath, telling herself to calm down. She didn’t want Oberron to have seen her in such a state; she could only nod silently in agreement about matters concerning the traitorous satyr. At the same time she wondered what had convinced him to do such a horrible deed.

Post Re: Failure (for Alynia)
Instinctively he reached out to her to brush way her tears but paused before he could and his hand drifted back. He lacked the strength to even use magi so he could do nothing about her tears. He had been surprised that she had came, surprised at the news for he had thought she would have confessed about Summer and Birch. Birch was asexual, and he had not know Summer's tendancies but if anything it would not have been so surprising to find that something had happened there. Oberron was only glad that he was targetted for whatever reason and Alynia was let go.

Now Corte had told him that Charon had rescued her. He said she was fine though at that stage she was a captive to the Prince though he was setting up a counter measure to get her back. It was not in anyone's interests, save for perhaps Gersham's that he be told what was happening with his queen for he would not be here healing in Avalon.

He shook his head at her words about the Prince, what he did and never forgiving her. “I annot forgive this matter, he was right about that, but wrong in assuming that I could not forgive you when he is at fault. Do not feel so bad or think that you are gullible. He, like I, can be silver tongued when he wants, its part of his heritage as both an incubus and fey so he is talented in the arts of deception. I am uncertain as if you managed to escape or he allowed you to escape, believing it was a gamble worth taking.

“His issue is with me,” he paused as if thinking back ages ago. “Not with you so he might have decided to let you go in an attempt to poison me, thinking that I would not yet be strong enough to sense what he had done. He was right in believing that I would not sense it though there were many things that could go wrong. A touch, an innocent peck on the cheek, this would giveaway the rouse. A kiss on the lips, well, in this state I'm in that might have been lethal.”

Then more to himself than anything he muttered. “He knows that I am vulnerable now.”

But he let that sink in for he could hardly be mad about something that wasn't really in her power to control. Gersham could have had her any time he wanted while she was a prisoner and while he picked up on the fact that she felt gullible he understood that their was probably an illusion involved. Not that it mattered but he wondered what that illusion was. He analyzed matters, considered how Gersham was likely to tackle an issue then figured that he had to come on about his own health or life in some fashion to manipulate her.

But his mind stopped thinking of such things as he admired the forest that now made up the chamber. He gazed back at her, smiled weakly then stuck his hand beneath the blanket. He set it upon hers, using the blanket as a makeshift glove of sorts.

“Oh we canstill touch. Just not flesh to flesh. It will burn like a brand. Nor … well your bodily fluids are venomous to me at the time at least. You'll be toxic to me for three or four weeks unless exposed to the essence of an unseelie again within that time.

“Think of it as a glass of water you keep filling back up before it gets empty. So as long as there is no additional exposure we will be fine but it looks as if it will be a long month for you. Years pass by in the blink of an eye for us fey ...” he paused as he regarded her, smiled and so wanted to touch her then, really touch her. “But I don't think I can blink fast enough.”

There was a thought that entered into his mind though he was much to weak for it right now Alynia could tell he was thinking about something as he was grinning at a thought.

“Let me guess, Corte wishes to send you home now with me here he doesn't want to have me hurry back before I am healed, nor does he want you to suffer at Gersham's hands again. Oh, and while I'm thinking about it, your ring only works when we are not on the same plain of existance. Since I was here in Avalon you could whisk to my side. Had I been in the castle it would not have worked. Stilll, I am glad and relieved to see that you are well.

“Now with that said, are you looking forward to your return?”

Post Re: Failure (for Alynia)
Alynia blinked considering the theory, had Gersham really intended for her to escape and poison her husband? It was true that it would be so much more painful if she was to one to poison him. Thankfully, she had been so hesitant to kiss Oberron on the lips. She was so relieved that he didn't blame her. That he understood what she had gone through without words.

Clutching his blanketed hand just a bit tighter , she hesitantly rested her head against his chest, feeling his steady heart thump underneath the sheets inbetween them. Every beat reassured her that Oberron was still alive. It told her that her husband was still alright.

She was beginning to relax, though Alynia stil felt insecure her worry vanished as he took her hand through the bed sheet. Becuase of the way the warmth of his smile pierced through her, the queen couldn't help but give him a weary smile in return.

"Well I don't plan on being with any unseelie anytime soon." She said softly. "Forever if possible.." Alynia insisted shaking her head stubbornly.

She sighed thinking of all the trouble everyone had to go through, "If I had known such a thing I would have used the ring much earlier."

Tilting for head with intrest as he grinned, she wondered what he was thinking about... But she wasn't so sure if she wanted to ask. Nevertheless, curiosity won over. "What kind of thoughts are making you smile like that?" She wondered lovingly blinking at him with an innocent expression.

She nodded, not too enthusiastically, as her husband guessed correct. "I was actually just about to leave before I came here." Alynia muttered. "But I'm glad I got to see you before I left."

"Oberron, don't want to leave." She whispered sadly. "I have nothing to look foward to back where I'm from." Even though Alynia wanted to stay at her husband's side, she knew how inconvinent it would be for everyone if she were to stay since she constantly needed a guard. With out her husband's protection, Alynia knew she was nearly just as vulnerable as Oberron was now. "But I'm weak" she countered softly blinking her eyes closed. "Sable, Gersham, and Summer all knew that about me." She sighed, "I don't think there's anything I can do to protect myself without you."

Post Re: Failure (for Alynia)
“Oh, I figured you had no intention of that. Call it a hunch.” He smiled patting the back of her hand with his own. He paused for a moment, coughed a little and reasurred her that he was alright. “New lungs,” he explained. “It's remarkable that my body has come back from nothingness as well as it has but I was sort of in a rush to get back. Now I know that I don't have to push myself so hard. Gersham will manage to evade my wrath for now and Phebes will be there when I get back.

“It is not your fault about the ring, I never really told you about it never considering the situation outside of you having a means back. Gersham may have something in place to counter transportation in his prisons, I'm not sure, I never been a guest in his dungeons ...” he caught the look in her eyes, realized he guessed wrong. “Towers, and I never intend to. I have no idea how he's set things up.

“Now, he has made things rather inconvient, he's good at that but I'm good at getting what I want too. After all, I got you, didn't I?” He beamed proud of that fact. Though she had been curious as to what he was thinking he considered how her sensibilities would hold up about his train of thoughts. But she wanted to know. Of course he was too weak right now for most of those thoughts but the fact that he had them at all was a good sign.

“Well, we can't really touch.: He took her hand with his covered one and moved it to his crotch before letting it linger there for a second. He figured that she would get the idea easier if he did not try to explain it. She was fairly smart after all. But he let her move her hand from him as he caught her eye and grinned mischievously. “There are other things too that aren't so fulfillling and as equally as messy I suppose but … well, there's plenty of time for that later on.” He chuckled a little, shook his head and smiled. “Nine times out of ten you don't want to know the thoughts of a fey my dear. They'll damage your sensibilities.”

He considered her answer and surmissed that Corte wanted to get rid of her, not that he didn't like her but it would be easiest for the time being. “Brillant thinking, Corte. He wants to send you back to the Shadow to protect you from all this?”

He sighed as he pressed his back to the billows, glancing up at the sky above. He had heard her confession, looked at her and smiled. His violet eyes shimmering with tears that did not fall.

“I can honestly say that I love you with all the fiber of my being, but might I add for the record that Corte is a fool. There. I said it. He means well, but if he sends you back to the Shadow what stops Gersham or one of his agents from walking it too to get at you? I have already told you that he only knows of one way to Avalon and that way will be bared for years to come.

“Thus, because I am king and I get what I want, and because Gersham or his agents cannot come here then I command that you stay, here in Avalon. Clearly Corte wouldn't want me to hurry back until I am fully healed and the biggest danger you have here is falling off one of the floating islands, but I will have some of the winds loaned to you so flight should be easy enough.

“It will be about a month before I am up and about but we need not worry about Gersham or his agents her. I can heal fully, you can practice magic, lore, history and languages, all that fun stuff. You might even want to regenerate a bit yourself too, now is the best time for it while I'm laid up but there are unicorns here and they're rather picky about criteria and who the let rid them.

“after being Sable's prisoner for so long spending a few years here on vacation has a certain appeal too. I cam rule from affair. And Alynia, you are not weak my dear. If you were then I wouldn't have gotten my kingdom back. Granted, you don't understand everything yet so Sable and Gersham have been able to take advantage of that, and Summer, well Summer was my fault, I wasn't able to sense her until it was nearly too late, fey don't trigger the warning bells like unseelie or goblins.

“Now, I'll have to arrange accomodations for you while your here, maybe a guide to show you the ropes a few teachers to keep up with your leasons, a riding instructor … boy see how many people it takes to take over my job for a few weeks?” He grinned at that and surprised her with a kiss to the cheek.

His lips blistered, and the contact was brief for certain, but he endured the small bout of pain. Kissing her on the lips was too risky, far to risky but he could stand being burned a little and why not? He was in Avalon and was going to heal faster here than he would otherwise.

Post Re: Failure (for Alynia)
Alynia lifted her head up slightly, casting a worried look at Oberron not entirely convinced as he assured her that he was okay. She sighed. "Please do not strain yourself. With healing, worrying over me, Gersham, Phebes. I just want you to concentrate on relaxing" Alynia stated. She blushed at his next words and nodded slowly in agreement. "I'm afraid I no longer am able to live without you." She sighed releasing her own tension allowing herself to rest gently against him. A flicker of a smile graced over her lips.

As he guided her hand to graze over his member, Alynia eyes blinked innocently. Then all of a sudden she blushed a sweet cherry red and immediatly pulled her hand away with a soft squeak. Her abrupt action was not because she minded but because she was taken by surprise with such a hint. She buried her face into his chest with embarrassment but her hand slipped back into his own clothed one. "I'll keep that in mind and next time, I'll try to refrain from asking." She muttered as Oberron let out a good natured laugh. Naturally, at least part of her had been thinking the same thing. If it weren't for this horrible poison coursing through her, Alynia doubted that she could have kept her body away from his.

They sat in comfort as Alynia rolled over some thoughts in her head feeling that there was no place safer to be in any realm than besides her husband, even if he was bedridden. As Oberron spoke, Alynia nodded. Corte was sending her away with best interests at heart, but Oberron was right. Her heart fluttered, a warm feeling flowed through her body simply at her husband reiterating his affection. Once more, Alynia pondered what she had done to win over the best man she could ever hope for.

The queen listened to his words with a earnest. It was obvious he was right, and everything he said made sense. Or maybe it seemed this way because Alynia wanted so bad to believe any excuse there was to stay besides him. She smiled, it was difficult to tell if there were tears of joy in her eyes, when he demanded she do exactly what she had wanted all this time. "I wouldn't dare disobey the commands of a king." She told him, "Or of the man I love." Alynia was more than happy to obey.

Her eyes shined with the brilliance of reignited curiosity. She couldn't keep the small smile off her face as she pressed herself just a bit closer to Oberron. 'Floating islands?' She wondered not having yet been able to have a true glance outside. 'Unicorns?' Her excitement was bubbling up like a child on the thought. Alynia also pondered over what he meant by regenerating herself as well but decided they would talk about such blissfully trivial matters later.

Entertaining herself with wonderful concept of a vacation, Alynia lifted herself up from his torso to look at him. She couldn't help but think how compared to the human customs, such a request would be akin to a honey moon. Alynia looked much more like herself than since she had first appeared in the white, now forest enclosed room. "I can't believe you've only realized now how much you really do for me." she stated with amusement as well appreciation. "But really, you don't have to go through so much trouble for me..." She muttered abashedly, but her voice quickly died down as he gave her an innocent peck on the cheek.

As he kissed her she blinked in surprise. She marveled at him in disbelief as his lips were inflamed. "I'm not too sure if you understand the idea of no touching." she said shaking her head with a conflicted smile. Oh, she relished the brief contact. At this point she was mentally restraining herself from kissing him too. She glanced wistfully at his lips and sighed. "Everytime you kiss me, I feel as if my heart has skipped a beat. I lose my breath, and everything I had been thinking of before is only to be replaced with thoughts about you." She admitted. "I love these feelings, I love what you can do to me..." Alynia pouted. "But I can't believe your willing to hurt yourself for something like that!" She said with a laugh. Alynia was so conflicted between the warmth she felt from his lips and the pain that it had caused him. She gave her impulsive husband a sheepish smile. "Please don't hurt yourself." Alynia requested. "I promise after the month is over, we'll make up what we missed."

Though her shame and humiliation of everything Gersham had done to her would remain, Alynia had a whole new realm ahead of her. Her smile radiated at the thought of Avalon and all of its rumored glory. The queen finally felt at ease. She knew that that the one who held such a strong reign over her heat truly returned her love even through such circumstances. "I still don't understand how I won the attention of a king like you." She admitted happily.

"I love you Oberron." Alynia whispered optimistic about what the future held for them both.

Post Re: Failure (for Alynia)
Oberron grinned at Alynia's reaction to the placement he made of her hand as dawning hit her as to what he had meant. The fact that she had been thinking of such things herself had only ensured that she had been corrupted by him at least in a small way. Oberron was willing to think outside of the box a lot, and usually schemed to accomplish what he wanted one way or another. It was sad that he, as a fey, was too weak right now to test run some of these methods but he was patient, he was blessed with long life after all.

“Well, you have no choice but is it the fact that I am king or that you love the king or perhaps both,” he teased, then grinned as he shifted his position somewhat. There must have been a reason that Gersham and his minions couldn't reach her back home though he couldn't reach her hear either and Oberron was keen in having her stay.

Clearly Corte wouldn't have sent her back unless he felt their was a greater danger to Oberron if she stayed, if anything happened to her then he would be held accountable and clearly he would not have wanted that. Or perhaps it was as simple as he figured the Prince was finished with her. Oberron was probably not revealing the full truth here, desiring for her to stay he caught on a few logical things that assisted him in convincing her, or perhaps himself into her staying.

He could sense her excitement when he mentioned the floating islands and unicorns. There was a shimmer of excitement there and while she had not said anything to the effect he was well ware of her curiousity but for now whatever questions would wait.

“Honestly I have never given it much thought before,” he coughed a little then took a few deep breaths. “But making such arrangements is an easy matter. You need to keep up with your studies since I won't be able to do so for a month at least. When I am able to we will speand more time here doing other matters.”

Oberron smiled at her. Her thoughts about that kiss, her confessions to him caused him to smile. “It warms my heart to know that you think of me each time we kiss, that I have such an effect on you and I think that is worth a little discomfort. You make me feel the same way, it is rather scary for the King of the Fey to be so smitten but that is the truth. The truth,” he sighed, glancing up to the sky briefly then looking bak. It was not yet time, not yet. “I will refrain from further injury. Buth worth my while in a month, hm, I can think of a few interesting matters.

“You got my kingdom back for starters and helped get rid of Sable too. Long has she tormented me, long have I desired to see her defeated buy over the centuries I did not think it would be possible. I found a kindred spirit in you when I found you back at that tower that day.

“As I have said before you have given me so much, your devotion and so much more, to which you probably won;t truly understand for years to come.”

Another smile. “I love you too, Alynia. But before the ring woke me I was fast asleep and as joyed as I am in seeing you I need to rest. Call the guards back in and I'll make the arrangemnts. Please do not wander around too much until you acquire the winds so you don't have to worry about falling though you;d only have to worry if you were at the edges of these islands but best to ere on the side of caution.”

He smiled at her, though regretfully had to dismiss her at least for the remainder of the day. He was weary and by dismissing her he found that he would keep good on his promise and not kiss her again, at least not yet.
