Dani cocked an eyebrow. "Well that was unexpected," she said. "And I'm dating the kind of Spai-" She bust out laughing. "I'm sorry, I can never tell that joke right. I'm single."

Rhaine listened, as if she was being serious then chuckled. “Don't do that, it hurts tooo think so it's easy to fool me right now. So what kinds of guys do you like?”

Danielle shrugged. "Not jerks, I can tell you that. But I'm bi, so if you wanna fool around a bit, maybe even go on a couple dates, I'm all for it."

Rhaine cocked an eyebrow. Then relaxed it. At first she thought Dani was making fun of her, it wasn't as if she was into jerks. Pete was nice until he sealed the deal so to speak. But she might have considered why the girl was being so forthright had she not been a bit tipsy and didn't care.

“You're not fucking with me?” Her mirth now replaced by confusion. She was looking at the blond now, eyeing her with a little suspicion though not much considering she was mostly checked out in the thinking department right now. A part of her liked that prospect. Dani was hot and it was her luck that she was bi. She had assumed that the girl was straight but her dim awareness told her to be careful after her recent brake up.

Still, this is what she really came to Shokushu for right?

(Dani is a brunette. Black hair, green eyes, pale skin.)

Danielle shook her head. "Nope. I like cats and roosters, if you'll pardon the metaphor," she said. She could sense Rhaine's confusion, which in turn confused her a tiny bit.

(my error there I think I got the two descriptions of the characters muddled up since we have both threads going at once.)

Rhaine considere, or she tried to anyway as she reflected on Dani's words. Finally she nodded. “Alright. That sounds good with me, I might be interested in the whole date thing but were ...” she glanced about. They were alone on this beach and it was getting on into the night. She looked back.

“Were should we, you know?”

She had never had sex in a public place before and while that might have cried out to her sensibilities she was too far gone for it to matter at the moment. Alcohol did such marvelous things.

Danielle shrugged. "I know a pretty secluded spot not far from here," she said. "And since it's almost night we'd most likely be safe. No one can find us. Though, with all the rumors of monsters on the island it might not be a good thing." She shrugged. "Eh, I would be able to sense them long before they found us anyways."

“Monsters? Your kidding right.” Now she could sense Rhaine being skeptical she didn't really worry about matters as she stood up on wobbly legs then took a second to correct her posture. Even in her state she didn't believe in monsters, nor did she really follow Dani's meaning about sensing them either. She wasn't thinking straight and only seemed to be concerned right now in keeping enough focus to follow to that secluded spot.

“Well I guess if the do exist they can watch,: Rhaine laughed showing that she did not really believe in them.

Danielle stood up and offered her hand. She could sense Rhaine's skepticism and her eagerness, which made Dani smile.

She took the offered hand but did not let go as the other girl lead the way using her grasp on Dani to assist with her own balance. This was moving to quick, she didn't know much about the other girl and thoughts of Pete flashed in her head again. Maybe Dani would just go away after though that didn't feel as if it were the case.

The alcohol made it impossible to think though, her thoughts becoming more amous with each step as she considered what they wer about to embark on.

"Y'know, your blurry emotions are starting to give me a headache," Danielle said as she walked. "I wish you'd just settle on something, preferably happiness." She winked at Rhaine and squeezed her hand gently.

“I tend to be all over the place when I get to drinking, it gets worse when I try to think of something though happiness is one state you'll be feeling shortly. Now you mentioned feeling monsters … are you feeling my thoughts and emotions now?” That was one of the few things that cropped up on her now, something that she had figured out readily enough since she was confused about it earlier it stuck out now.

She had been glad that they found a seckuded little cove. The water lapped at the shore and there were rocks around it to make it difficult to see into it from outside

She giggled a little, gleeful as she took in the sight. “It's beautiful.”

"I'm an emotipath, or hyper-empath, or whatever you want to call it. I can sense people's emotions and they always affect me greatly. I can usually guess their basic thoughts by how their emotions combine and swirl and react. I can usually tell individual people's emotions apart in big crowds, but ever since I got here my perception has been dulled. I get the feeling the school has something to do with it. But we're alone here. Everyone else is either in bed or in their dorms. I can sense your emotions clear as.... well..... now I don't want to say crystal, that's too cliche," Danielle rambled.

(*rereads my last post* Oh fuck, I'm starting to sound like the Doctor! x.x I literally read it as I was typing in David Tennant's voice. Fyi David Tennant is the 10th Doctor. If you don't know what I'm talking about, watch or look up Doctor Who.)

She smiled and nodded at the explaination. “That's cool. You'd know if someone was cheating on you too,” she giggled a little at that thought. An empath? Interesting. She looked at her and smiled again. “Yeah, my thoughts go all over the place after I have a few. I'm usually mellow but this whole Pete-Mary thing has bugged me a bit but I'm trying to forget all that and just focus on the present rather than the past.”
