Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
She smiled gently up at her husband as her arm relinked affectionately with his. Alynia could easily tell Oberron had not given any thought of showing Phebes Ny mercy in the form of punishment. In a sense, through the whole Prince ordeal, Alynia completely pinned her fury upon Gersham. Not at once Phebes, but perhaps this was only because she didn't know they satyr well enough. Though oddly enough, though without a doubt she despised the creature, she didn't even blame Esper. It was Oberron who accounted everyone of them for his wife's suffering. Alynia was touched by how concerned he was for her, she truly was. But she knew her husband was hot headed. If it weren't for her soft coaxing as well as a legal system in the king's way, it would be a wonder if Phebes was not sentenced to death or some equally terrible punishment.
Alynia shook her head in disbelief trying to repress a laugh. Yes she felt a bit self conscious as both pairs of eyes wandered over her, but it was entertaining to think that both were actually imagining her as a guy. Alynia herself found the idea entire unthinkable, though it was amusing to see the men pondering so hard on the concept. She couldn't help but giggle sweetly at the verdict. "I'm very glad you think that way, I don't think an Adam's apple would suit me very well" Alynia responded with a smile. Her free hand wandered up to feel her own throat briefly.
Alynia rolled her eyes playfully, Oswald would never think that she would ever own enough shoes. Alynia look very excited to peer into the new box Oberron brought foward. "Very pretty..." She mused joyfully attend soft forest green material. She was happy in what she saw. Not normally what she really wanted to go after because of such a rich color, but she liked them very much, both the dress and the shoes. Alynia didnt really have a chance to deny Oswald's judgement as she was dragged away.
"Thank you!" She chirped, kissing Oberron innocently as Oswald lead her to another room. Though she didnt think her husband would have minded all too much, she felt more confident knowing for sure. Still, Alynia made a mental note not to take too long. It was positive that Oberron, (or Alynia in this matter) had tha much of a passion for shoes as Oswald did. It seems the brownie was very excited to shoe off what he could. She grinned at his eagerness, thinking that it meant he had a lot of shoes to show. "So what do you have in store?" She wondered her eyes shifting around at the many I completed projects that scattered the room. Once would think that shoe making would be a simple process if one was able to use magic, but Oswald's workshop clearly proved her wrong. In fact it seemed with the addition of magic into the process the craft of shoe making seemed to be more complicated than Alynia could really remember.
Alynia also looked around with interest at the new room she was lead into. It was amazing how much space was in a Brownie's room when the home seemed so small from the outside.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
Indeed Oberron had a knack of flying off the handle or being impulsive at times especially when it came to Alynia or her interests in keeping her as safe as possible. Phebes had turned against that trust though Oberron never truly trusted him there were factors that he had assumed that even Phebes would not brake (unless he was sure he was going to get away with it of course).
Surely he knew that an attack against the queen would draw out Oberron's ire and would bring great harm to him, if not worse.
“No, it would not suit,” Oberron began.
“I do know … with the prober footware you can make the absurd look dashing.”
Oberron cast a side ways glance at the Brownie who only grinned. Was he teasing Oberron? Had he dared? Though Oberron did little other than shake his head in disagreement.
She barely had time to thank Oberron or kiss him before Oswald was busy wisking her away. He showed her shoes, and shoes, and shoes. It was his passion after all and he showed her these thinks. Before his eyes lit up as a though shook through him.
“Phoenis shoe!” He opened up boxes, tossed others aside and frowned trying to remember where he had kept them until he came across a pair of fabulous red heels with a trace of orange in them. “Yes, these are it ...”
He had her try them on and made a few quick adjustments before he explained them. “These shoes are rare, in fact there are two pair, that which I made and that which my father crafted. Can you guess who made these? Well, that's not important. Things to know, while you wear these shoes or even hold onto them you are immune to the effecdts of heat and fire. Secondly you can teleport from flame to flame, similar to Shadow Step or a dryad's ability to pass from plant to plant only thing is this is limited from flame to flame. Last if you are killed while wearing these shoes your body bursts to ash consuming the shoes but restoring you to life within a week at full vigor at the spot where you were slain.”
He ticked these points off on his fingers as he recited them to her. He gazed at her as his words took shape upon her mind. “Now you can make a grand entrance ...”
Oswald seemed oblivious that she was in awe about the obvious magical dimensions of this place. He nodded at her. “Try these on, your highness.” He then handed her the box.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
He led her into a rather cozy room; she suspected it must’ve been some sort of over sized storage. There were enough windows so that the sunlight lightened the room a happy bright glow. Lined up on the walls were shelves and shelves of shoes. Some boxed, others not. Some finished, others scrapped. To Alynia it looked like rather disheveled and disorganized, but Oswald seemed to know where he was going and what he was looking for. Her head tilted with curiosity, amazed at the brownie dashing to this shelf then that, selecting seemingly random boxes in his arms.
Alynia sat down on a stool in the, her eyes going from left to right with interest, having little idea what she had gotten herself into. Usually when she commissioned anything, it was usually custom made. Alynia had never minded the idea of wearing something already within Oswald’s immensely vast collection of foot ware, but he had always insisted to craft a new pair. Alynia assumed it was simply because the Brownie was obsessed with making shoes. Anyways, the queen was interested in actually seeing what Oswald had in store.
But as almost as fast as it had started, she realized this was much more serious than she had intended it to be. Oswald gave her one pair, and before she could completely even put on another he insisted on another. The entire situation, in her eyes, was rather ridiculous. But immensely entertaining, there was a light hearted twinkle in her eyes as the mountain of boxes surrounding her grew and grew. She was very impressed he was able to amass so many shoes for her to try on in such a short time.
Until finally, she hadn’t even bothered to try and put on the last pair of aqua shoes he presented her, Oswald seemed to have settled. She blinked at the magnificent pair of red heels watching as he tinkered with it just a bit. She let out an amazed gasp as she heard him explain the shoe. Such a concept was truly unfathomable, so much magic she had yet to uncover in so many books still left in the library.
Alynia realized that this time Oswald meant it when he asked her to try them on, so carefully she took the shoes from him and slipped them onto her feet. By now she was not surprised at how perfectly they fit. Slowly she stood up, almost afraid of damaging something so obviously valuable. She walked forward, testing them out. They were as comfortable as well as bold. “They’re amazing…” She breathed out with complete honesty.
She walked around, simply bewildered at how comfortable they really were. Alynia walked out of the room briefly, catching eyes from her amazingly patient husband. She winked giving him a cute grin before walking back to Oswald.
“They’re very comfortable” She remarked. “Though, how does the teleportation aspect work?” Alynia was very interested in the regenerating process as well, though she felt this would be something more difficult to understand. She looked down at her feet, really a pretty pair of shoes.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
Shoes had ben his life and even with so many shoes he was able t keep track owhere eveything was. Swald was a raher obsessive bownie after al though it occurred to the queen that she had not yet met anther so he might have been rather norml as far as brownies went.
Grabing thsese shoeand that he was on a mission tofind her the erfect pair of shoes for his queen. These ones he ruled out bcause he didn't like the colr. The heels on another gave her too much heigh where she and Oberron would look awkward ogether. Another pir not enouh height. Another was perfect but wa rather bland and thus would not do. He finally remmber the Phoenix shes and had tolook for them. Two pairs, only two in eistance and he had them both!
Glorious shoes They were once his crowning achievemenbut Oswald never let his talents stagnate. He was lways looking t ooud do himself and was actually saddened on the occassions when he was unable to do a pair of shoes justice.
“Don't touch tht!” Oswald sad sharply and for asecond she thought he was addressing he but he had a ratherar away look to hi eyes.
“No, you realizehow pickCor can be in rerds to his drink. No, Im not if you must have the harder stff there is a botle I keep in the pantry behind the flower and there may be some ighter stuff in the kitchen if Cor hasn't drank that yet. Doubtfl, he only likes the harder stuff.”
Ten he glanced back to her and shook his heabefore unpackaging a pair of brown shoes then st them aside displeased with them already. “Yur husband is being a pain. A fierce as he is sometis he can be suh a child. 'I don't care …' sheesh, I use to hearthat one a lot for Co. Anywy back to shoes. Where were we, tt's right I as looking fosomething!”
Indeed he was powerful, at least when it cameto harnessing power to etrap in shoes and using magic in unique ways or tapping into somethinthat was tre aleady. He was far from an enoker but he was just as powerul in oter ways and it showed by how marvelous some of creations had been.
Whenhe left the room she saw Oberron wih a bottle of wine o he either summoned it or found the weaker stuff and used that rather than have Oswald complaing about consming the hardr stuff. E winked at her, patint as much as he could be of course then returned to the room.
Oswald thought briefly on her question asto how best to explait hings to here.
“It is rather imple. You sp into flame or similar heat sources and simply visualize ppearing elsewhere. In many ways t's like Shadow Stepping though not as compliated. Do you want a practice run? Do you remember the foyer, their's a fieplace there across from the portraityour huband was looking at. I'll go lit it tough there's another in the work shop there ...” e pointed. “Just clear you mind and think of the plac, what's here at the other end, a tree, a rock and o forth makes it easer to visualize.”

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
“Yes, a practice run would be fantastic!” She mused clapping her hands together in excitement. She didn’t know if she was asking for too much when she had wondered how the shoes work but Oswald seemed happy to show her. She listened with adept attention, expecting some long complicated magic preparation and technique. She was happy to find out that this was not the case. Alynia turned her head, looking with interest at the empty fire place he pointed at, in a blink of an eye suddenly there was a roaring fire as if it had been burning there for hours.
“Okay…” Alynia responded a bit unsure of herself as the Brownie left the room to light the second fire place. She looked at the fire, it certainly seemed hot enough. Was she really supposed to step into that? She waited an adequate amount of time for when she decided Oswald had lit the fire and then she let out a nervous breath.
Her hand reached out feeling the heat waves of the fire, it certainly seemed both real and scorching. Alynia was supposed to step in that? This was crazy she was goingt o burn to death!
Alynia took another breath calming herself done. This was magic, she reminded herself as she bent down, reaching a hand tentatively forward. The red orange flames licked at her outstretched palm, and she immediately pulled back, until she registered it was not pain she was feeling. Alynia put her hand in the fire again, this time a bit more bold. The fire did not feel hot, if anything it wasn’t even warm. It was a strange feeling of dipping her hand into a bucket of cold water. Not entirely unpleasant, but it was so unmatched with what she was seeing and what she was used to, Alynia was amazed.
She did not understand how the technology worked with the shoes making her fireproof as she wore them, but she could only surmise that this was proof that Oswald’s shoe making skills were exemplary.
So, trusting his skills, Alynia stepped one foot in the fire, then another ducking her head down so she could actually stand in the flames. She blinked, she was standing in fire. She felt the cool wet feeling wash over her body, though at a touch she was completely dry. Alynia breathed out in wonder taking in the sight of her feet standing in burning wood. Her shoes seemed to lightly glow as if they were activated, but that could have been just the light of the flame that surrounded her.
She closed her eyes, and let out a puff of air picturing the previously empty fireplace in the foyer. She pictured the entire room, the painting, and suddenly there was a whoosh as if she was sucked into the fire. Before she could account on what was happening to her, the queen’s eyes flew open and there she was standing in the foyer.
She blinked in absolute surprise stepping out of the roaring flames onto the carpeted floor. Alynia had not been hurt at all, even her shoes were completely undamaged. She looked up from her feet, to the smiling face of Oswald. She didn’t know what to say. Alynia was amazed at how the shoes which to her, were really much more than just a pair of shoes. And as an added bonus, they made her toned legs look wonderful.
Her eyes wandered from Oswald’s, to Oberron who had watched the experiment with interest. In his hand was a glass of what Alynia could only assume to be something that was much too strong for her to drink. “What do you think? If they’re not all too pricey… could I get these?” she asked her husband shyly. Sometimes she was a bit hesitant on purchasing anything. Yes she was aware her husband was a king and thus money was never an issue, but also she was quick to discover those who were adept with magic didn’t have all too much to purchase unless there was something they wanted very specifically. Alynia liked the shoes, but she would only get them if her husband agreed.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
Oswald took off to the living room to set that fire calling back to here when he had done so.
“READY!”
The flames were warm but not uncomfatable from being too close to them either. Whether or not Alynia could hear him had been another matter entirely. There as a pause after all, long enough where he was going to cheek in on her, peraps give her a pep talk.
“Ready? Ready for what?” Oberron asked.
“A cruel joke.” Oswald grinned at the king. “Well, she did feed me a dozen or so brownies before she told me what they actually were!”
“You didn't think those were actual Brownies?”
“As much as your wife thinks she's wearing shoes that let her walk through flame.”
Oberron's eyes went wide as he bolted toward the room forgetting to even jaunt their in his panick. E ad no time to bring wrath upon the Brownie of course if she were to be stopped.
“Dont do it!” But as anyone will tell you don't was often conused with do.
But as he rushed to the back he was too late as Alynia bravely stepped forward.
The flame itself was not hot to the touch. Alynia could feel the heat of the flames as she drew near but did not feel them as she touched them.
When Alynia opened her eyes it was upon the face of a smiling Oswald that she saw. Oberron was storming into the room, ignoring her question at first as his wine slooshed in his glass spilling in places.
“A most foul trick!”
Oswald grinned. “Don't threaten mine and I won't threaten yours, the big difference being that I would never hurt the queen unless she commanded it of course ...” Oswald was grinning, reminding Oberron nd how hostile he was to Corwin all that time ago.
But eager to turn his attention back to shoes he shook his head. “Those shoes are priceless. One set of two. If you like them so much they are yours to keep free of charge, provided of course you can get your husband to stop glaring at me like that! I pulled a little joke which he did not agree with it seemed though I had to make a few things clear to him.” He looked at her then back at Oberron who at least by this stage had the scowl off his face as he stepped closer to Alynia's side.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
After Alynia stepped out of the fireplace, and got over her astonishment on how they actually worked she smiled excitedly at Oswald, who returned her smile. Then to Oberron, who did not. Alynia tilted her head innocently… was something wrong? But as she heard him grumbling, she couldn’t help but laugh softly at his angry expression, amused to be reminded how concerned he was for her. But she bit her lip to stifle the sound; she peered up at Oberron with a shy expression.
Alynia then gave Oswald a pout. She didn’t like the sound of Oswald using her against her husband in anyway, even if it was a joke. Within her thoughts, she knew that there was perhaps something deeper. Her mind wandered back to the Oberron he had introduced only earlier that day. Alynia’s expression was distant, thoughtful, almost a bit concerned. Oswald was the only other being who knew of its existence, it didn’t take a lot for Alynia to realize that this gave the Brownie a certain power over the king.
She didn’t understand what Oswald was referring to with ‘threatening his.’ Had Oberron threatened someone recently? Her mind quickly flipped through memories of anyone she could recall…. The only one she could really recall was Corwin all those years ago. But of course with Fey being immortal, this could have been recent to Oswald.
She feigned a relieved expression as Oswald assured Oberron that he would never hurt her. Smiling sweetly she shook her head. “No thank you…” she said sincerely with a laugh. Wrapping her arms gently around her husband, “I have enough trouble with this one already.” She mused thinking briefly back to all of the wicked devices Oberron had stowed away down in the dungeon. Alynia was trying to lighten the mood of course, a mild implication that hopefully could bring a grin upon her king’s face. For good measure she tilted her head up to kiss him sweetly on the cheek too, trying to settle his temper.
Her polite expression lit up as Oswald was willing to give away the shoes for free. She was especially pleased because it seemed that if they weren’t… she wasn’t too sure if Oberron would be willing to purchase them from Oswald after such a trick. Alynia looked up at Oberron “You heard the man, play nice.” She teased lightly with a joking smile.
“Well thanks for these.” Alynia stated clicking her heels together. “They’re wonderful. Though I don’t believe I’ll need the flame traveling aspect anytime soon.” She put on a thoughtful expression as if she wanted to confirm her statement. “But we best be going out?” She stated looking more at Oberron than Oswald as if silently asking if they had any more business here. “I’ll ask about getting you a portable hole as soon as I can, and we’ll see you soon.” Alynia smiled kindly at Oswald before the couple headed for the door. Her hand trailed down Oberron’s arm, keen to hold his hand.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
It seemed that the two fey were arguing about something. Oswald reminding his king about something he had done and a gentle reminder not to do it again of course … but things had not grown too heated or violent as if neither had wanted that. Clearly Oberron was use to getting his way and not often being on the receiving end of anything but this was not the case here today it seemed.
It all stemmed back to when Oberron blew up at Corwin, Oswald's adopted son. Fey memories were long indeed and how they could allow so much time to pass without showing a hint of what was bothering them was amazing to say the least.
There were no threats about disclosing Oberron's true identity, nothing even implied so Alynia gathered that the two were probably evenly matched or Oswald was likely to get away since by making such a threat was there any reason to keep the Brownie alive? He would have been deemed to dangerous to keep alive at that stage, right? She had considered that he being the only other person that knew the truth if Oswald were to die then the secret would die too, right? Of course things couldn't be that simple. Her husband was unseelie all those years ago so what stopped him from simply killing the Brownie then?
Alynia's lips seemed as distracting as the closeness of her body and Oberron did grin. Just like that the little spat was over as if it had never occurred. Oswald took offense, made it clear to the kind through a simple trick and displayed to him (king or not) that he would not like it if someone threatened to harm Alynia so he wouldn't like it if someone threatened Corwin. Now if only the leprechaun had the same passion about shoes as he did with alcohol …
“For your sake I will play nice,” Oberron grinned back at Alynia. “Of course I will make you earn those shoes at a later date.”
“Oh dear,” Oswald shook his head. “You know ...” he paused and thought for a second. “If you got some fire resistance yourself you could even make love within a volcano during an eruption, that could be both different and romantic ...”
“Indeed ...” Oberron was actually thinking of it!
“You'd just have to keep the shoes on though I can't see why you's want to remove them anyway ...”
“Hopefully not but in a pinch it can be useful, especially if you have something on you that can make flame. That fireplace is always ignited as long as wither myself or Corwin are present. Sadly it probably won't be lit while I'm away with you unless Cor drops in of course but I'm sure uou can set up similar arrangemnts at the castle so there will be one flame you know about at least so you can teleport to safety.”
“Something to keep in mind,” Oberron stated as his and Alynia's hands entertwined. He nodded at his queen agreeing with her that it was time to go. “A portable hole … there are dozens at the castle so finding one and getting it to you will be a breeze once we are back to freely do so that is.” Oberron drew his wife to the door as they bid the Brownie farewell for the time being.
“A volcano ...” Oberron had a far away look in his eyes as if he were truly considering what Oswald had said ...

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
Yes, the relationship between Oswald and Oberron were complicated at the least. At times amicable, other times enemies. At one time, Alynia recalled, Oswald had been her husband's mentor though currently this really didn't seem evident. They rivaled eachothers in many ways, experience in that they both were practically ancient to her. Magic for both were adept in their own crafts. Oberron with his arcane magic Oswald with his shoes. And even history.
Alynia had never bothered to ponder the tie between the two, and now that she had been informed Oswald was the only Fey who knew Oberron's secret that just added another mystery between the two.
Her long thought process was immediatly cut off by her husbands next words. It was amusing how quickly she flushed crimson. Not quite the shade of her shoes, but most definitely a noticeable pink. "Earn? But t-they didn't cost anything..." She muttered quietly looking down at the pretty red shoes on her feet. Even as Alynia spoke she knew her words were void. Oberron had waited all this time while Oswald rummaged shoe box after shoe box...
Her eyes went up to Oswald's in surprise. "A volcano?" she exclaimed in shock. Part of her was impressed the shoes allowed her withstand such temperatures, but most of her was abashed that even the old Brownie was throwing in some suggestions. "Different certainly... I'm not too sure about romantic." She muttered refusing to let her mind wandered onto the scenario, not while Oswald could so clearly see her expression.
She nodded enthusiastically about the more practical safety uses for these heels, agreeing it would be a smart idea to keep a fire going back in the castle just invade she did get in trouble. "Yes, yes I can certainly see how they would be useful... But you simply had to plant the idea in his head didn't you?" She groaned playfully rolling her eyes. Alynia looked up at Oberron, she barely could keep up with him without any outsider's suggestions.
Alynia laughed as she waved a good bye stepping back into the increasingly darkening day. She hummed sweetly, vey content. One hand went up, absent mindedly playing with the red flower in her hair, ghe flower matched almost perfectly with her new shoes. According to the sky, it looked like it was going to rain soon, it was a good thing they had decided to head back to the castle now. "I like rain." she mused, even though she was pretty sure her husband already knew. "I haven't seen it in a while either... It doesn't exactly rain around here often." It was a wonder all the grass, plants and all the trees seemed as healthy as they were.
Alynia glanced at Oberron with horror hearing his thoughts churn. "Oh my goodness, you're actually considering it!" Alynia accused suddenly blinking in surprise having fully expected him just to write Oswald's suggestion off as a joke. "You're going to throw me into a fiery pit of doom and have your way with me..." She pouted holding his hand just a bit tighter as they walked through the increasingly lush woods.
"But fortunately for me, you said it was my turn next." She reminded with a cute grin and a twinkle in her eye. "So I won't be tossed in a volcanic eruption quite yet." Alynia remarked lightheartedly.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
This had not been the Oswald that had been present in assisting Oberron in his rouse but rather a descendant. Given the magic of an artifact that they possessed it was an easy enough matter for the consciousness of each generation to pass from father to son.
Oswald was the last of his bloodline but Corwin was his adopted son and his memories would one day pass on to the lepreachaun if he surviveed him that way. In a sense he was immoral, killing him would simply piss off the heir since he would be aware of what happened (maybe), Things such as poisoning for instance wouldn't reveal the truth but they might consider it or pick up some clue they witnessed before the crime or even turn something up like a clue that he had not had the time to process.
But as a rwesult Oswald knew about Oberron's secret though for whatever reason he kept quiet about it.
“Nor will it cost you in return. What I had in mind was free.”
“Usually free,” Oswald added. “Humans do have an occupation that charges.”
Oberron seemed appauled by this idea and gazed at the Brownie, who knew better than he of course. He still looked to Alynia though for a sign of confirmation. “Really?”
Oswald nodded. “Remember the mind set is different, not all are like fey, if they were getting with one another would be more casual. Instead a few have learned that this is not an universal trait amongst them and feel as if they can charge for their services.”
“That … is … wrong … on so many levels.”
Oswald nodded. “Sure is, I somewhat understand it by having lived in the Shadow for some time. You pick up a lot by living near humans, such unique individuals.” Oswald glanced to Alynia. “Yes, very unique ...”
Oberron was stunned as if someone just randomly punched him in the gut with no reason behind th matter. Charge for sex … well, he had heard rumors and stories though nothing he really believed. He wondered if this was another ot Oswald's jokes though he did not seem suicidal or too daring at tuat.
“Yes, a colcano. It's perfect,” Oberron added once this whole protitue crap was behind him. He still wasn't sure as to what to believe. “Think about it, a public setting but who's going to be around during a volcano, who's likely to e hanging around rather than fleeing>”
Oswald nudged her in the ribs then whispered into her ear, :He can do much, much worse. The trick is to get him thinking of something minor to get from thining off thrsr matters
“Hey! No secrets!” Oberron snapped/ Oswald grinned. I think I've forgotten most of my short term memory so I have no clue as to what I was going to di …?
He glanced at the king. “Of course with so many impression in my ming all that would be required would be for me to rest for a little while for those memories to return, thus doing something with his memory was not even option as Oberron realized this since his mind was so,wjat protectd.
As they departed he gazed at her. “I can make it rain far more often, I am Oberron of Storms after all. I do not think it reained though since Titania's passing and then it rained every day for years to come ...”
He explained as if it were matter of fact. He conjured up the thought of the volcano not those of how the plants staed alive that was relateively minor for him. He already knew the two step answer to that and took this moment to “tour” his kindom for problems.
“I am considering it, yes. It is new and we have to christen the shoes by doing something inetereesting though we can work our way up to that, say a bonfire first or some such ...” He considered for a moment. “I did … yeah, I had … how unfortunate, ah well I'll just have to wait you know I cannot brake a promise, even one that I may have forgotten about out of convience. He would remember when thinking about it when right now h ewas looking beyond the moment to other things ...

"Oh I wonder what you could be suggesting.." Alynia muttered incredulously with a faint pink still igniting her cheeks. She would've been a lot more flustered it it hadn't been Oswald who was listening to them. Over the years, at least Alynia thought, she had gotten a lot well with the brownie.
"I'm pretty sure Oswald's correct." She confirmed at her husbands appalled look. "Though, I never thought of it like that. Humans with a fey mindset..." Alynia paused, a thoughtful expression washed over her face. Then she quickly shook her head. No matter how long she was in this realm, surely it would take a very long time span, if ever she would grow to think like that. Currently the idea of giving herself to so many men, and for money at that too was borderline horrific. She just wanted Oberron, only him. It was doubtful that this ideology would ever change.
Even still, Alynia tilted her head, surprised at Oberron's confusing confronted with the idea of paid sex. Of course she didn't know much about it, how could she being as sheltered as she had once been? But still, the fey being all so casual with their dalliances if seemed odd that no fiscal business had developed from it.
Alynia felt a bit self conscious as Oswald's eyes trailed over her. "You know, humans would say he same about the both of you." She pointed out looking from the fey to the brownie. Blinking as she leaned over allowing Oswald to whisper in her ear, she laughed softly. "You don't think I've tried that already?" Turning up to face her husband's mildly annoyed expression, Alynia kissed him sweetly.
As they were walking back to the castle, Alynia seemed very satisfied. Even after a lot had happened during their time at lunch, and the two still intertwined fingers. "it's quite alright." she stated regarding the lack of rainfall. "I especially dont want you to bring about storms if You assiociate them with Titania." Alynia held out her free hand as of to catch a falling rain drop. It was at that exact moment when her fingers were met with a few slight drops of moisture. It was slowly, but surely just starting to rain.
A few more small pearls of water fell onto them, as if the clouds abover were struggling to contain the weight of the water stored within them. She made a quick judgement at how far she assumed the castle was from where they were, trying to hypothesize how her dress would hold up against the water. It was a thin dress, but Alynia failed to recognize that the dress would be only more see through if it were to get wet.
"You seem so set on ravishing me in the midst of a fire." She remarked, obviously the suggestion stroke a certain appeal within the king. Oberron's excitement alone made Alynia happy she was able to keep the fiery red shoes. Though she wouldn't admit it, it was her husband's willingness to experiment and his curiosity to always try made her heart flutter with anticipation. Even more so at the thought that he would be hers to tease and toy with for atleast some time.
This was only one of the reasons Alynia loved him, how he always kept things fresh and unpredictable. She gazed up innocently at his thoughtful expression. "Should I dare ask what's running through your mind?" She wondered inquisitively.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
What made Oswald so great was that he didn't often cotribute to things overtly “fey” he at times came across as sexless in that he did not hit on Alynia in an overt way or was too crass either. Sometimes, such as this he tossed out such a comment though it was always with the king present perhaps to avoid any miswconceptions. Perhaps, such compiments and such came then only to avoid any conusion that he was making a move on her.
Now Oberron looked at his wife with a frown on his face, a look of disgust hung there. “That is, sick,” he obviously did not understand the concept of selling one's body and Oswald chuckled a little as he hook his head.
“I could say I was lying,” he began, “though that would be the actual lie.”
Oberron shook his head as if he heard the filthiest thing then composed himself. “Well, there's one human I don't have to expect that from ...”
“Yes, that Kim is a wonderful gal,” Oswald grinned and before either could say anything he was already making his apologies at that bad joke as even he saw that one in poor taste. He meant no offense by it of course other than perhaps getting a little rise out of Oberron but he quickly figured that it could be insulting to the queen as well though it was one of those things that only came up after the fact and not before it.
Their had been no business in the sex department because it was bound to fail. In a society where even a husband and wife could be with others and everyone so free with giving “it” up so to speak then who would pay for it? Who thought themselves so important the they thought they were good enough to charge> When a commoner could get with a king in a dalliance then anything was possible and such was not needed.
“I figured as much,: Oswald answered as Alynia pulled away then kouder as he shook his head “Poor girl!”
“Nonsense, Aly, I don't associate the wather wuth her otherwise I would be reminded of her each spring. If it pleases you to see raih then so be it,” Oberron smirked a little at this as the first few derops of rean descecended frin tge heavebs, thick droplets at first as ut sarted to tsin slwly.
“In a fire or in the rain, I'm not too picky,” he said as another rain drop hit him. He knew full well what those effects of the water woulde ge, ezpecially with a cold front blowing over the area. He grinned a little as he regarded her, squeezing her hand. Yes, fire and water it should be intersting …
“Probably not … since I have to wait for my turn again, though I was considering just now ...” his voice dropped, his eyes dashing about to ensure that they were alone … “I was considering generating a large sohere that we could hide in during the sotm, pinning you to one of the trees and simply ravishing you senseless with my true form, well my old form, but I do not think you are ready for that. Ready for a ravishing of course, perhaps some enchan ted vegetation to hold you still, some assistance from the reain. Mayb some toys to influence your reactions. That and I was thinking how dreadful this assissnment coming up will be. You could be gone for three days, you will be missed during your absence.”

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
The rain was steadily getting heavier, droplets thicker, as if the sky was listening to Alynia's musings on her love of storms. The sky was not he pristine blue as it had been when the first came out, now it was a mass of grey clouds that had almost seemed to appear out of no where. The sun, now hidden, casted a shadow upon the realm. Everything seemed more still, as if others had gone inside after noticing the upcoming rain. It was serene, tranquil in a way, the forest looked so different when not under he shine of the sun.
First the sunlight was lost, then heard was the pitter patter of raindrops on leaves. Slowly at first, the gradually building momentum, the lovely rhythm of rain. It was a soft storm, but a storm nonthe less. At the same, the couple was steadily feeling the water upon them. Alynia most certainly could feel the beads of water washing over her. Her dress quickly became soaked, the thin fabric clinging tightly to her skin. It was at this point Alynia remembered she wasn't wearing a bra... It hadnt layered when the dress was dry. It was honestly a rather loose dress when dries, but it was an entirely different story as it was wet. "Then in the rain it is, I can't bring myself to be so picky at this time either." Alynia muttered, stepping so she was facing Oberron.
The blue, practically see through cloth hugged around her breasts, hiding nothing from those who looked close enough. There was a light gust of wind rollig around them even though the water was still summer warm. The conditions wonders to emphasize her toned stomach, and swell her nipples so they poked on in prominent points as if beckoning her husband. Alynia knew this, yes she realized she might as well be nude standing in front of him. There barely was a difference now.
Not surprisingly, the thought made her cheeks go red, but she reminded herself, who could see her other than her cherished king? Surely no one else at a time like this.
And so it didn't matter. Alynia pulled her husband down so their lips met in a heat. Her tounge immediatly wandered past his lips waging war on his own, showing just a hint of that rare dominance. Her hands trailed down to his chest, tuggin his shirt so they were more closely embraced.
Just as she dared, her breast pushed teasingly into him. The smallest prelude of what was to come. Alynia only pulled away once she was light headed with lack of oxygen.
She listened with a blush, a cute timid expression. Alynia shivered at his words, even though she briefly tried to convince herself that it was the rain and not her steadily bubbling desires. She leaned into one of his long ears, nibbling at it playfully. "That sounds wonderful." She groaned seductively, even though she wasn't too sure about it. The restraints, the roughness of it all sounded delcious as it always did. The thouht of that made her whimper with want. But his true.. or rather his previous form was terrifying just standing there. She wasn't sure how she would react if he touched her like he usually does while he is Fey. But thankfully, she did not have to worry about that quite yet, it was "her turn.." And once and a while it should be alright for her to experiment. "Hmm..." She hummed very pleased at Oberron's words. "Not nearly as much as I will be thinking of you." She muttered trailing passionate kisses down his neck.
She took his hand, giving him an excited though nervous smile pulling him not toward the castle, but in the opposite direction toward the thicket of the forest. If she remembered correctly, there was a cave near by, and ah, there it was. A simple mouth enterance to a big enough cave for them both. A great protection from the weather, as well as perfect for what Alynia wanted to do to him.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
The storm had brought with it a certain drabness in color, a stillness to the air which had become cooler as the rain cascaded down in that instance, stirring up the vibrant green foliage which had even appeared drab beneath the fullness of that drab coloration.
Rain drops splattered on the ground buzzing in her ears as the ground became mud in some places though the sound was far more comforting than any other in tis realm, peaceful even as thoughts of satyrs and fauns had been pressed from her mind along with the inheriant dangers of the forest itself.
Oberron faced her, the dress doing little good to hide her curves from him imagination at this stage though he was quiet surprised that Alynia so readily gave into him knowing what he had looked like … he gazed at her, half expecting her to protest, well not protest but offer up something else as a means of distracting him for now until she had come to terms with all that he had relayed to her on this day though it should have not been so surprising that she readily accepted him either.
Touched, he grinned as he observed her, wet and getting wetter as rain drops shifted over her form. His violet eyes studying her for a moment as if he was intend on getting the truth in them though he snapped his fingers in a moment, a black barrier surrounding the pair as rain didn't even pass through it.
Yet the moisture trapped inside the barrier had been warm indeed, and the way Oberron gazed at her was intense full of longining and want. Yet, she ran off in the direction of those half remembereded caves, the barrier breaking as she moved against it though the currents of air molecules were small enough to pass through but water molecules were too big to pass though. Had she considered it she could have gotten distracted by the science of it but she was a little busy right now after delievering a heated kiss to her husban's lips he was sure to follow her like a saytr running after a nymph.
He was drawn to a cave, one that he knew well enough infact. Two entrances and exits though the second you had to be the size of a badger to access. Oberron also knew that she was only so – so with transmutations so this was as fara s they were likely to go.
He did fight the urge to simple take over, of course. It was her turn after all and while there were things that he could do to her she was in charge now, at least for the moment anyway.
He had no plans on interputing her until he figured out what she was planning and even thn he might not raise a hand.
“Why this cave?” Was there any special circumstances to this one ...”

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
He had tried to encase her in another one of those spheres, but she had escaped before he could find a way to pin her down. Casting a suggestive grin over her shoulder she made for the woods, and unsurprisingly Oberron followed.
It wasn't deep into the forest before the den came into sight. A simple cave anyway. One assessible or entrance, the walls were rough solid gray rock, the floor was marked by a bed of fallen leaves, pine needles, and dirt. Here and there were larger boulders that seemed to have fallen from no where. The inside was dry, save for the very mouth of the cave where rain splashed inside. It was warm, and dark. There was just enough dim light from the day to still see.
Alynia led her husband a bit deeper into the cave. "No reason in particular." She admitted spinning around to press her wet defined body against him. "Though here is a bit less conspicuous than conjuring up a sphere on the edge of the forest." Alynia reasoned very casually, she hummed softly as her lips pressed against his shortly. It was very obvious this is what she wanted. Why she wanted him so dearly right now? Such desires were unexplainable, nor did they matter. Her smooth lips traced gently to his shaped jaw then nibbling affectionately down his neck. She was so close to him, she could very clearly feel her soft mounds push against him through that soaked fabric.
Alynia's hips ground lightly into his in small circles, she let out a breathy moan. Slowly ever; ever so carefull she slowly stepped foward pushing her husband's back into the wall. It was strange, the feeling of dominance how ever little it was, but to her credit it did not phase her as she attacked his lips again. Very briefly her hands up under his shirt. Cold delicate fingers ran over his toned stomach, worshiping the feeling of his seemingly flawless skin. "I want to take this off.." She muttered fingering his deep green shirt. Very slowly she helped him peel the wet cloth over his head.
The. Alynia leaned back slightly, biting her lip admiring the skin revealed to her. A cute thoughtful expression showed conflict in her mind. There was so many things she could do to him... she wondered whether or not Oberron made it up as they went.
Alynia's eyes fluttered shut, a moment of silence then a rattling sound, as chains snaked foward binding each of Oberron's wrists drawing his arms over his head. They were illusions of course, solid enough to offer ohsyical reistance but would certainly not hold up to any of the king's own abilities.
She gnawed on her bottom lip, how strange it was to see her husband splayed out like so. "Is this alright?" She wondered quietly, even as her lips went to his now bare shoulders and chest, ghosting over his skin. Alynia knew that if he wanted to, he could escape with practically no effort so she continued. Her hand wandered to the front of his pants, grasping his shaft gently pumping it once so slowly, so carefully from the outside of the fabric.
Alynia then stepped back giving Oberron a coy but mischievous grin. Her eyes meeting with his before running again over his bared torso still amazed how she had somehow made this man hers. She was blushing, but she was persevering. Her knees squeezed together, and it was very easy to tell she was aroused. Her hands ran up her own body, pulling down the neckline of her dress revealing just the swell of the top of her breasts to him. One of her hands dared wander inside her dress, squeezing her breast and pinching softly at her nipple. Even though they were her own actions she tilted her head back moaned biting her lip once more. "Would you like me to take his off?" She asked teasingly with an innocent smile. She dared lean closer to him, Alynia kissed his cheek even as she continued to lightly palm her own breast.
