She has callused Fingertips on her hands from playing and practicing upon her first love of music and the cello.

Background:

She was born to a Japanese Mother who in turn had fallen in love with an American marine while he was stationed in Japan. However, that relationship didn’t last, as her grandfather decided that an American was not going to join the family. Suzuka was born nine months later to her mother who decided that it would be better for her to be raised by her Uncle and Aunt instead of her.

Ultimately that was the best decision for Suzuka. There her Uncle raised her, and she found out from an early age that music was her passion and goal. In fact, she started with private lessons after school for the cello. That love of her has never died, in fact over the years she has become so dedicated to her love of music that when she was offered a choice between a conservatory for music and here at Shokushu. She chooses Shokushu because of the fact that her dedication to music has made her very socially awkward with other people. Her Uncle and Grandfather both decided that it was best that she did this way, however no one in her family does have a clue of what lies beneath the façade.



Personality Profile: Suzuka’s personality is very formal, very mild-mannered and polite. She tends to not buck the rules so much since she has never been around many people her age. She has always been one to practice more than several hours a day with her cello; therefore she has the ability to block all things that takes away her concentration. She is very creatively minded and in other subjects besides music, she has proven that she is capable of handling it in an advanced placement level. She also never had a normal childhood since she choose the lifestyle of the musical world and everything that entails with that lifestyle, so partying and such that most normal teenagers did... she didn’t do.

Psychological Profile: She doesn’t know how to relate well to her own peers. She tends to become frustrated easily when she has to talk to someone. She is also a loner at heart. She can spend more time with her iPod and headphones on in between classes listening to her favorite classical composers or in a room practicing her cello. She is also prone to panic attacks when she has to deal with people. She, also has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, so she has a routine that she like to follow although she appears normal, there are a few things that can trigger her badly into again a panic attack.

Likes: Suzuka knows that music is her first love therefore she listens to everything except the pop stuff and rap. She is also an avid reader of everything she can get her hands on. Although she can be found gardening as a stress relief with people instead of using a medicine for her panic attacks.

Activities: Currently a freshman so besides her music practicing and gardening, she doesn’t have many activities that she likes besides reading.
