Post Re: Getting to the Bottom of Things (for Juniper)
Rose was unaware what was truly going on but Rena had done more than just scare her … she could have been locked away in the infirmiry for much longer if Juniper hadn't made an appearance, yes much longer was a given.

Still, she nodded brisquely as she considered these things. “Rone 117,” She gave up the details, wondering if just skipping the physical would do any good, they would know that if 52 people were in the class and only 51 showed up … still they had to figure out who hadn't shown up so that could buy her some time.

“Casanova” looked their way, shot the pair that brillant smile of his or at least Rose thought he was smiling at her and the girl behind her but when it grew too quiet she looked and saw no one.

Juni headed to the cafeteria next. She had to pass by Casaonova on the way and made it there ok. Back door established into those files, check, eluding the security, double check.

She had managed to grab a canned tea, even opened it and drew in a sip of the beverage when their had been a sudden voice that was startling in nature given how close it was.

“Hello, dearie ...” the voice belonging to Casanova. He had now been a few feet behind her. “I have a message for you. 'I'll see you tomorrow' ...”

Post Re: Getting to the Bottom of Things (for Juniper)
Juniper was still standing by the vending machine, head tilted back as she took a deep swallow when she heard that decidedly male voice pipe up behind her. Her heart jumped in her chest and she swallowed reflexively rather than as she'd intended, causing it to go down hard, but she wiped her mouth without coughing or sputtering. She turned on her heel to size the security guard up and gave a thought to playing innocent, but the look on his face didn't give her the impression he was guessing. She supposed she'd been right about the blonde being a lure, and she'd been just stupid enough to fall for it.

"Hmph." she snorted derisively, taking another small sip of her can as she gave the guard a sidelong glare.

"Fine, if you want to play messenger, pass something along for me."
she said. She didn't think the security guard was going to make a grab for her in the cafeteria. "Darling, you couldn't catch me when I was two feet away. You must've sent at least a dozen guys after me, but twelve hours later I'm still roaming free. If you think a little bit of administrative dickery is going to drop me in your lap, you've got another thing coming." she narrowed her eyes a bit and read the man's name badge.

"If I see any of these guys shadowing me, I'm going to mail you their testicles"
she squared her jaw and glared hard into his eyes, that last bit didn't seem so much aimed at Rena, "Now piss off, you bother me."

She brought the can back up to her lips and took another draw of the cool fluid, though her eyes never left the guard. As bluffs went, she supposed she could've done better. It was easy enough to pretend not to be afraid around the goons, they were still human as far as she knew, and she'd handled a few mall cops in her time. Even with the bum knee, she was reasonably certain she'd be able to convince this guy that she would make good on her threat . . . the real problem was that he had backup, and Juniper's experience trying to take three guys at the same time had taught her mostly that she never, ever wanted to be in that position again.

Jethro. His name was Jethro. An unusal name to say for sure though Casanova's name had been as plain as day. She delivered her message to him and he grinned at her, a real erie expression touched his eyes as he stared at the student who obviously had yet to learn her place here.

Rose was a lure but not in the way that Juniper thought … it had managed to get her here and the next mater probably creeped her out even more as he leaned closer to her. She was hoping that with so many people around that there wouldn't be a scene here, at least she hoped.

Jethro looked younger than Gus and stronger too if his broad shoulders and greater height had been anything to go by.

“You have already delivered it yourself.”

And with that there was something crawlinb beneath the flesh of his hand. It moved down to the yand, slithered around beneath the skin then disappeared again beneath his sleeve. Now it was probably expected that she wouldn't show up but he thought nothing on her threat simply turning to leave her there in the cafeteria with something new to think about. That movement beneath the skin of his hand had to be deliberate, though as she watched Jethro took his walkie talkie off his belt and was speaking into it as he disappeared out of the cafeteria.

Post Re: Getting to the Bottom of Things (for Juniper)
She pursed her lips a bit as she watched Jethro make his way out of the cafeteria. Then, shrugging her shoulders, she swallowed the tea she'd been keeping in her mouth. The old spit-blinding trick might not've been terribly sanitary, but she'd caught a few people who thought they were catching her off guard by surprise with it. From there she would've tapped City Girl Self Defense: Lesson 1 . . . kick 'em in the nuts and scream "rape". Had a tendency to incapacitate and draw eyes. She was almost disappointed that the spectacle hadn't gone off. . . but it was probably for the better.

"I guess she knows how to get under more people's skin than just mine." she sighed, crumpling the can between her palms before lining up a freethrow. The can spun a lazy arch through the air, bouncing off the wall behind the bin, and then dropping down into the can with a hollow "clunk" sound.

What the hell had she seen, exactly? Rena was able to . . . what? Infest them with some kind of parasite and highjack their senses? Inject them with some of her creepy self like Agent Smith to make independent Rena-zombies who all had the same agenda? Either way, treating the security guards like regular people collecting a paycheck might not be smart of her from this point out. Rena had seen her face, so all of them knew what she looked like, that much was obvious. What else was obvious was that Rena didn't hesitate to twist the leverage of her position as far as she could. How much of the student body was tapped into her agenda? How many did it take?

She could tell her trust issues weren't going to get better anytime soon here on the island. For all she knew, her own room mate was going to hand her over bound and gagged. Still, she couldn't compromise everyone, there was no way the staff would stand for it. It'd interfere too much with the fun of the other "Hunters". She was probably sticking within the designated ten percent. Probably. And even then, she couldn't get all of the target students, the telepathic ones would notice and raise a stink. Again, probably. She hated how much guesswork she was relying on here.

Well, she admitted, it wasn't as though she had to guess now, was it? She supposed she was just going to have to miss her next period, it had become apparent that her extracurricular research project was going to have to pay dividends in a fairly immediate fashion. Not the computer lab this time though, no, the Library. In a pinch, she could use the bookshelves to break up pursuit, and she was pretty sure that the back stacks opened out onto the island proper in case of emergency.

Post Re: Getting to the Bottom of Things (for Juniper)
Rena had a face now. The physicals were redundant now and a waste of time but she had already pushed them through so she would be caught up with them. For the moment she figured that the new girl would be shaken, knowing that Rena was closing in on her, knowing that maybe tonightm, or the night after she would strike and maybe, no, more than likely going to make her pay.

With her drones she could tap into their senses and for this there was a brief moment that she taped into the infected Rose. The student was unable to turn around but though the students senses she noticed Jethro. It was too bad she could not speak through them or control them from a distance so only her initial message was given and not some kind of retort as she heard the words of the student.

Without the psyicals she had already narrowed the student body to a fourth. She was no doubt a freshman those that wasn't confirmed until Rose stumbled upon that question. Then cut that number in half given the number of students that were still in class at the time. It also made so sense that she might not have class but she saw that she was in uniform so had a class around now or was coming from one …

Rena was quiet patient though. She knew that the students couldn't get off the island ..

Juniper found that her time table had been sped up. She was left to wonder about the extent of Rena's powers and how exactly she could use them. Perhaps there was more information on these matters on the login details she had. Most of what she had deleted had been stuff that this Rennie had worked on so unless her or she had been working on the said file, if it did indeed exist.

She decide that her next port of call would be the library where she saw a blue haired girl with glassess sitting near the computers her desk covered with books, a note book out, she was looking for something those she was the only other prson here at the time save for the over weight librarian that barely looked up from her Reader's Digest

Post Re: Getting to the Bottom of Things (for Juniper)
Juniper tried to keep her breathing under control, she had to consider that even if she didn't see a swarm of security guards closing in on her that there was someone keeping an eye on her. She had a face, sure, but she'd already had a face, what she lacked was a name. Without that, she couldn't pull up her room assignment, or her class schedule, or even have her summoned via intercom. "You, the brunette with the bob-cut" didn't sound particularly authoritative, after all. Though, if Juniper's files were missing from the student records, she supposed even a name wouldn't increase the temperature of the water she was already in. She wondered at that, not for the first time, a new possibility crossing her mind. Perhaps her mother had pulled some strings? She was paranoid enough to think that whatever was trailing her might try to strike through her daughter. Again, though, she found herself lacking a method of verification.

Juniper sat down at one of the free computers farthest from the blue-haired girl, not wanting to disturb her intense research, and also wary of another of Rena's plants. She opened up her satchel and pulled out a notebook and pen, setting them to one side as she typed in one of her alternate log-ins to verify that it was still working. She set up a makeup compact to her other side, leaving it open so she could use the mirror to look behind her without having to crane her head around suspiciously.

She licked her lips and tossed back another mint. Database searching always made her want to smoke, it gave her something to play with while she was waiting for her search queries to get back to her, or as she tried to suss out a way to narrow down the search field without losing anything potentially important. The mint was a poor substitute, it was something, and it was strong enough to make her tongue numb. She used to keep them around so that she could keep her breath clean when making an impression, now the cigarettes were gone and the mints were all she had, so she used them.

Okay little database . . . reveal unto me your secrets. she thought, opening up a few tabs. The first up was the Hunter directory, obviously where she started a few rather pointed searches. "Rena, Nurse, Infirmary" she needed to figure out exactly how much hot water she was in, and hopefully, hopefully someone detailed some fashion to incapacitate her should she get out of hand. In the movies monsters always had some esoteric but ultimately ironic weakness or limitation, like an inability to cross a line of salt or something, she just had to hope that myths and legends hadn't been grasping at straws to make the listeners feel better.

As that was running, she hit up up the Prey directory. She ran a cursory search for "Rone 117", looking to verify the identity of the blonde, but she mostly just openned some files at random and then ran a search for their room numbers. She wanted to know if the marked 10% were being herded together for convenience, assigned rooms with other victims, or if they were being circulated among the 90% in an effort to keep them feeling isolated and alone. She supposed it was entirely possible that the staff didn't care either way. On a whim, she also arranged the names by class, wondering about the percentages of each grade that were being targeted...her fear was that she'd find the greatest number of students in the Freshman class and then practically none in the Senior, implying that among the Prey preservation wasn't quite as high a priority as she was assuming. Rape-based immortality may not sit well with her, but dying definitely wasn't in the game plan.

Then came the long game, Experiments. She started looking for practical elements, "Abandoned, Remote Lab, On-Site Testing, Storage" things that didn't require her to try and infiltrate NICE Labs to get her hands on. Ideally, she'd come across a hidden decommissioned lab that she could turn into a hidey hole of her very own. It'd be better than two years of digging, anyway. Then she hit a few keys, looking up Rena again, the girl was medically trained which meant for a monster she had to be pretty sharp, if she was running any experiments on the side Juniper wanted to know now in case they could be used as leverage against her. She also plugged in Aegir's name out of curiosity, Gigi had mentioned the Lab the most often without prompting and she was still convinced that ol' squid-lips wasn't quite as good at concealing his agenda as being a thirteen century old telepath might otherwise suggest. Then, she plugged her own name into the Experiments query, wanting to strike that particular nightmare scenario out if possible.

Post Re: Getting to the Bottom of Things (for Juniper)
She sat down, unsure of how deeply Rena had iniltrated the security here. Maybe she did not infiltrate it but had been part of it given her unique skill set. What had she seen on Casanova's hand? Her mind flashed back to the scene in the shower's the day before.

I can feel it moving inside me ...

All the scrapping and raw blood, did something similar await her? She shuddered at that thought as she tried her logon seeing the familiar hour glass then she was in. She waited though, Blue the other girl had been nearby behind her placing a few books away and looking for another before taking that down and immersing into it looking for something.

She opened the Hunters file and it listed name upon name. They were not in any form of alphabetical order so she could assume that they had been listed by the order that they joined … some of the names were familiar from what Aegir had told her and there was even one on the telepath too as she saw the first page of entries but priorities over ride curiosity at this stage and she checked the folder with a simple search hoping that it would gather results. The seventh file became isolated on the screen she could tab back easily enough but the file was glaring at her. Hunter7.

Opening it there was a photo of the attractive nurse and one in his “natural” stat with the red coop and yellow eyes with the apperant skinless nature.

Looking she saw the subject header Hunter 7, Rena “Rennie” Duval, demon (babau-cloxus0 hybrid. Head of security charged with watching over the infirmiry. Two hundred thirty-seven years of age. Five foot nine. Possesses supernatural strength and great endurance. Her body is dense with a bone structure as hard as steel.

Rena is a patient hunter who often causes a student to disappear for a night or longer. Her victims are often selected from those that frequent the infirmary later in the day. She has the ability to generate slugs and insert them in people though the slugs die if outside of the body doused with copious amounts of salt or if inert in non human beings.

One such slug is all that she needs to track a victim though the biorhythms of the slug. Her tracking in such a manner is flawless. A second slug inserted into a non human allows her to see and hear through their senses three alllos her to control the victim though she possesses no ranged capabilites or telepathy.

While her control is not absolute and more of a suggestion deemed in a favorable light she has infected nearly all of the personel with three slugs, though each has at least two so she can monitor all the going ons at once.

Her mistress had a similar ability and tried to infiltrate control of the faculty. Rena has learned from the mistakes of her predecessor.

As a demon cold iron weapons are effective as to silve in a limited degree. She is kept at bay by religious objects that are displayed with belief and conviction but is repulsed by holy water that burns her like acid.

As a precaution the sprinkler system in the infirmary can be switched to a secondary water supply that taps into holy water least she get out of hand. Dander Index 3 ...

In the prey directory room 117 came up with a hit and an isolated folder. Rose Maddox sophmore. Her whole data file and application was there pretty straight forward though at the bottom there had been an amendment under notes: deathly afraid of being buried alive, implanted with two of Rena's slugs, favorite of Omtix.

The blue haired girl was behind her again, probably getting ready to go given the arm load of books she was placing back on the shelves after some serching.

But the numbers came in, the most atacks were amongst both the freshman and the seniors. There were still a fair amount of them in the other classes though and getting her graphics as to which rooms wer targetted she found that both theories held up. Their were small pockets where groups of victims dwelled and others that had been kept alone for whatever rason. It was tough making sense out of that data unless people that were attacked got others attacked that happened to be in their vincity more oten then not.

Since her file did not exist on this access anyway nothing came up when she plugged her name in to the experiments folders. Nor did anything crop up in her searches of hidden labs so far. So going back to the file Hunters she brought the Aegir file back up but found when opening it that it was empty. Any sub files where gone and it looked that at a glance at least the file was still their since the name was not deleted at all. But going back to the experiments folder her input of the name Rena had been loading something albeit slowly ...

Post Re: Getting to the Bottom of Things (for Juniper)
Aegir, you wiggly purple brain-thing, I could kiss you, Juniper thought with a bit of a smirk. She wasn't really expecting any customer service on his part of the equation, but handing her the log-in and password of her pseudo-nemesis definitely appealed to her vindictive side. She may not have access to the whole system, but she knew everything that mattered here in the short term. Idly, she wondered if perhaps the Aegir was who she could thank for her anonymity on this account, he had the same access she did after all, he could be protecting his investment.

Mmn . . . Juniper thought as she read over Ms. Duval's profile, tabbing up an empty text file when she caught sight of the blue-haired young woman in her compact mirror. The obvious theological ramifications of having an honest-to-god demon out for your blood aside, that doesn't seem too useful. I still have a cross charm, but I haven't been a practicing worshiper in . . . what, ten years? I somehow doubt I'll be repulsing her with the light of truth.

As Blue moved back to her desk, Juniper pulled up another page that would be a somewhat more convincing cover should the other student pass behind her again. She sighed a bit softly, her favorite lighter was with her cigarettes . . . but she hadn't checked her bags to see if one of her spares had maybe survived the security check. The sprinkler fail safe was definitely promising, she'd even have the excuse of the physical to walk right in and do the deed. If she couldn't find a source of smoke, she might have to settle for brute force.

The slugs were definitely problematic, to kill them required them to be outside the body and copious amounts of salt? Switching over to a salt-heavy diet probably wouldn't be enough to protect her . . . even if it were, she probably would've had to have started weeks ago. And there wasn't much about the method of insertion here in the file, they could burrow through the surface of the skin, or lord knew what. No, if she wanted to deal with the slugs, she was going to have to deal with the root problem. She tapped up a few keys and tried to pull up the specifics on enabling the fail safe, though she was betting it'd require a trip to the basement.

She drummed her fingers on the desk a bit, watching the progress bar slowly ticking over. She sighed a bit, leaving it churning in the background as she pulled up another tab. She pulled up the experiments tab again and tried a few more keywords, "Equipment, Proven, Human Testing" just trying to get a better idea of the nature of the experiments being conducted here on the island. Pursing her lips, she added "Tinman+Electrical" for good measure.

Yup, ironically the very being she was eluding right now was Hunter7, Rennie or Rena. Perhaps Aegir saw it as ironic or assumed that she would like the touch when she found out, he was a telepath after all and might have picked up her appreciation with such a touch.

Sadly her searches on abandoned labs did not seem to turn up anything though she had to pause for a bit as the other girl put away those books.

Maybe she wasn't leaving for she returned to the desk and scribbled something down in her notebook and there was a book there still oened that she was reading out of.

Unfortunately there were no safe guards her in place about the sprinklers. If that were the case and this was Rena's account she could seek to disable such measures herself if she knew about them which seemed more than likely.

More of Rena's name associated with experiments loaded albeit slowly. The equipment search might have been fruitful if she narrowed it down some as she got a bunch of tyical supplies that the scool kept an inventory of.

Though her searches in the experiment files for Tinman + Electricity did not pull up any information. Aegir and Eelectricity seemed to be the best match though. 60% download for the Rena + Experiments so she could clearly conduct more searches or read up on something she may have already foumd.

"Yeah, I guess that was optimistic of me." Juniper muttered, as her search for more regarding the failsafe came back empty. She jotted down a note for "Dander Index 3", on the offhand chance that the Dander Index was a series of volumes rather than a system of measurement created by some unfortunate soul named Dander. She hadn't given up on that possible solution just yet, she'd just have to get creative to find it.

Well, let's be relentlessly practical she thought with a slight shrug, returning to the equipment search. She started the engine looking for cold iron, silver, holy water, holy, and demonic experiments in general. She'd gladly admit that it didn't sound like the sort of things a scientific organization would keep stocked, but when confronted by an actual demon it behooved someone to start prodding into that forsaken frontier. The notion of someone in a black labcoat with designers spectacle reading Latin in a dark room with computer-generated geometrically perfect ideograms caused her to smirk a bit, though she couldn't think of any reason why such a thing would be impossible.

She clucked her tongue a bit at how slow her search for Rena's Experiments was going. Exactly how many experiments was this thing dabbling in? She propped her chin up with one hand, looking over at the respectable pile of books that "Blue" was accruing, idly wondering if she could make out the name on any of the spines from here. Shrugging, she turned back to the screen, deciding it couldn't hurt to know a little bit more about her 'inside source', she pulled up the Aegir+Electricity file.

As thought she got no hits as far as religious experiments with, not at Rena's security level anyway though there were a number of hits on religious artifacts … it seemed that the faculty here needed to be ready to handle unruly monsters. Cold iron swords, daggers, even boxes of bullets. Silver, holy water, the works all referenced at being in store houses A though D. She would find no references to where these store houses where, either they wer made up as a bluff to dissuade monsters or meant to let them know that these things were readily on hand should they choose to get out of line.

There was even references to the fabled Spear of Destiny that alledgelt pierced Christ while he was crucified but where it was being held if they had it, was unclear it just showed up in the general logs.

Taking a brake for a moment and absorbing the new information she looked at the other girl though she could not make out the titles she did see that one had Latin in the title.

Going back to her research her file had not loaded yet so she referenced Aegir and electricity finding notes there that old squid face was especially vulnerable to lightning and electrical effects and once worked on a regent with the assistance of lab techs to produce a resistance to such attacks by experimenting on a student named Suichi where it his noted that he kept the subject “sedated” while the techs worked.

Was it that what he had told her about Tinman and Gigi had been in truth he and Suichi? Well it helped with deceptions to add an element of truth into it, she was still considering what she found and further looked. The human aspect of it looked to be lightning resistant soldiers that could fly through thunder storms, parachut to their targets with the cover of the storm and not have to worry about being fried in the proceess. The results were not too effective not for the end results anyway and the experiment was discontinued with the ending of other projects like a ligtning resistant craft the proceedure became obsolete to continue.

Aegir was probably still interested but perhaps he lacked the resources to continue with the project alone. She considered this before being caught up in an orange flash … the blue haired girl had just taken a picture of her? The general area? What? She turned seeing that the blue haired girl was looking at the captured image on the digital camera she was holding.

Post Re: Getting to the Bottom of Things (for Juniper)
Juniper tapped her chin a bit in thought. She found it interesting to note that despite ostensibly being listed as one of the heads of security, there seemed to be a great deal hidden from her as well. Apparently the coup attempted by her predecessor had left a nasty taste in the mouths of some of her peers, it was one thing to set up a fail safe to melt her should they so true, but kind of cruel to inform her of the fact while keeping the specifics from her. Of course, Rena probably had a few puppets among the custodians to help her ferret out and eliminate that particular problem of hers.

The storehouses were certainly interesting. She considered the platform that could be seen in the distance from the beach, on a rig like that space would be at a premium, and she suspected that NICE valued their research and development more highly than their ability to stage an assault on the island should their administrations ever go head to head. She supposed they might keep the store houses underwater, a nice, secure, neutral point . . . but it'd be too difficult to get at in case of an emergency. That suggested tha the storehouses were somewhere on the island, to Juniper anyway, probably buried to keep them from being detected by an aerial view.

Juniper scratched her chin, thinking of an alternative solution to her problem, typing "Memory Alteration" into the search engine. She'd barely pressed the return key when a brilliant orange flash left her blinking in surprise. She turned her head and saw blue reviewing an image in her digital camera, and she stood up abruptly only just barely keeping her temper in check. Leaving the search for Rena's experiments running on the screen, she leaned on the table near Blue, her brown eyes looking flatly at the scholarly young woman.

"Hey, it's generally considered polite to ask someone's permission before you take their picture."
she said in a low, accusatory fashion. If she was wrong, let the other girl deny it, it would open up a chance for her to ask exactly what the heck she was doing.

Loading. There seemed to a lot on the subject of mind alteration though by this stage she had nearly finished loading the file with Rena + Experiments though a short time later she witnessed the orange flash. The librarian had to have noticed too but she paid no more attention than a cursory glance at the pair.

As she grew closer she could swear that the camera looked similar to hers, same color anyway, She could have sworn too that her image had been captured there but from behind and the side.

“May I take a picture?” Though she did not wait for an answer but snapped another than frowned,. “Your eyes were closed. Now how do I delete images and go back?” She sighed as she tried to work this out but seemed confused about it.

“I'm afraid I have little knowledge with things I should have studied it a bit more when I had the chance. Working on anything interesting and the girl adjusted the glasses she wore then fkicked her gaze to the computer that Juniper had been working on. From here though you couldn't make out any text though her search had finally ended of course.

The student's eyes flickered back. :How do ou get the pictures out of these?”

Post Re: Getting to the Bottom of Things (for Juniper)
She rubbed her temples slightly as the girl snapped another shot before she had a chance to answer. On one side, she didn't really have the time, and she had some incredibly damning searches sitting unattended at a public access computer. On the other hand, as an enthusiast it was her duty to try and ease the uninitiated into the way of the photographer. She put her hand out with a sigh.

"Here, let me take a look at it." she leaned in after she had the camera in her hand, making sure the blue-haired girl could see everything clearly, "You see this ring here with the "Okay" button in the center? This is your navigation tool, if you want to go back to a previous shot, just tap the left button until you see it again. Then press this button here with the garbage can icon and it'll delete whatever image you have in front of you. This button over here will take you to the main menu, so you can adjust your options or set up some individual folders if you want to group your pics together by day or location or whatever. Whichever icon is highlighted, if you push the "okay" button, you'll access it."

"Huhn. . ." she said as she brought up the options screen, "You have this thing set to manual. If you're an amateur, the automatic on this model is pretty good, it'll correct your settings to get a pretty good picture no matter whatever the ambient lighting or zoom is set at." she shrugged a bit, "But like most things in automatic, you can get better results if you do a little learning and apply your own experience and feel of the situation. Shutter speed in particular is very important when shooting a moving object, and getting the autofocus to work with you can be a bit of a crap shoot so you might want to learn to do that by hand."

She tapped the bottom of the camera, pointing out a pair of sockets, "To get the picture off of this thing, you'll need a micro-USB to USB connector, little black wire, it should've come with the camera. You stick the little end in the camera, and the bigger end into a USB slot on the computer. From there, you can print your photo out of any standard color printer, though if you want the glossy finish you'll have to buy some fancy paper. There should've been another plug in the box too, with a wall-socket, you plug that one in here to charge the camera's batteries. You'll get a lot more life out of the camera if you don't charge it up until it's completely dead."

She put her hands on her hips and offered the camera back, "Did you get all that? I'm really not sure what you could be trying to take a picture of that relates to this kind of research," she said, wrapping a knuckle on one stack of books, "But I don't mind giving you a few quick pointers." she glanced back at her chair, making sure that no one was zeroing in on the station she was using. She was ready to leap clear across the table if she had to, the file on Rena's Experiments should be done loading about now and she was eager to see what she could see.

Post Re: Getting to the Bottom of Things (for Juniper)
She seemed geniuninel interested in the camera. “It's a friends … I don't know what it was set for … I would need it set for automatic, how do you do that?” And she watched as the journalist showed her. Once done she shook her head a little. “Those two shots are the only shots I took with this thing and neither is to good so I want to deleted them. My memory is pretty good so I've never had to resort to cameras before but I started to take pictures in an effort to figure it out. I was planning on leaving here soon and wanted to work it out before using it, going into the forest today.”

The girl frowned a little when she mentioned the wires … “she didn't give me any of that so I assume that she has all that in her room. So any computer will do to get the pictures off. The girl took the camera back and stuck the strap around her neck and stood. There were only a few books here now and they wer alone so far save for the librarian. Her blue eyes seemed to sparkle a little behing her classes.

“Thank you. I got all that .” She looked to the Latin book then slid it closer to her. “I wish I had the time to explain it byt it's detailed around Page 284 in the article written by Solomon as to the reasons behind it. Here, I don't need this book so you take it and have a look I got it from that stack of books there,” She was gathering up the others books though preparing to go.
