Wait here. Rei was a bit surprised by that the Trixians would be that concerned about such a person. Maybe the race was paranoid, if so the then it would make for a better hiding spot for the pirate, because then it would easier to hide from anyone else who would come looking for her.

He sensed her concerns. I am unsure how they would view outsiders. I never had to know so I never pried into their minds and I wouldn't want to just thrust you on them with asking … I wouldn't want to assume anything or have them resting something so simple.

I have no doubts that they will do it but even I can be surprised from time to time. If you have a cloak I suppose you can come with me, they may want to met you … the cloak can concal a tail and provided you keep your hands concealed they might not suspect anything. As for me ...

Aegir had transformed into a Trixian female, red hair and blue eyes, a youthful yet sharp appearance wearing a beige dress made od fine silkys and adorned with several braclets, reinbs and necklaces. She sported a pair of silver earrings with dark blue gemstones.

Aegir smiled and considered a quick name, somethin similar to Aegir that would be easy enough to pick up on. Aegis? No he needed something more female sounding but similar enough where it might trigger something or at least capture Aneia … it would have to do in a quick pinch ...something that should make the Princess at least curious.

“Not too much is it?” He thought of a quick cover story that could hold up unless one delved into it too much … a scientist? Well it didn't have to be perfect since the Princess was the only one here that he couldn't touch minds with at least the only one he had met thus far. He suspected that it wasn't a trait exclusive amonst her but he was confident that he could touch upon other minds.

The alien was a step ahead of the platinum blonde, he explained that he would have to make sure that the Trixians would accept someone like her taking refuge among them. After all they might not be aware of such consequences, though they would probably be pretty light.

THe alien offered to let Rei come with him although she would have to wear a cloak. Based on his description, the Trixians must have been nearly human, though they did have a tail and must had been something other than the typical hands a human had.

It was then that Aegir transformed right in front of her, into what the outlaw had to assume was a typical for Trixians. In the place of the purple creature, was as a woman that was had long red head and was fairly pretty, her outfit seemed to make out silk and had plenty of jewelry as well. Rei knew she would had to supress her want for fine items, if she was going to live among them.

No I guess it not, though I haven't met a Trixian before.

“Well I've never attempted to pass off myself as a scientist before … not a Trixian one ...”

Aegir seemed to catch somethin though altering his clothes so that they wer cold weather. He smiled at her. “I nearly forgot that it's cold on this world. Temperature changes don't effect me as badly as they do humans so you'll want to go with something warm as well. The cities are nice and warm but we have to travel a short distance to get to one. It gives them more time to prepare for us ...”

He was being cautious here. Clearly the ship would have been picked up on sensors, clearly they would send someone to investigate such a close object. Still he waited for her to get warmer attire, then considered her gloves. He wasn't sure how that worked … he knew that the Trixians had suction cups but would they expose the flesh in colder weather? He searched his mind with his encounter with the Princess and her hand maidens an realized that he had not really paid it much attention. Four fingered gloves with holes at the tips exposing the suction cups seemed right. It might have been wrong but he went with that.

The two left after locking up the ship and were soon encountered by the guards that were dispatched to check out the ship. Aegir flagged them down though it was a few minutes before the guards turned about one of the arcahaic vehicles they were using and came over after calling it in.

Aegir explained that they were just being cautious to Rei, and even at worse she gets locked up again, the last part was a joke of course. He didn't think they were in any trouble.

“Hi, Dr. Aneis and this is Dr. Rei. Our communications arrary was out but Aegir has sent us to meet with the Princess and relay our process so far ...”

He was uncertain if there were any other Trixians out there but that was a small matter, he would find out soon enough, feel how their minds interpretted things and could control them regardless of what they believed to get them to do what he wanted of them.

The alien disguised as a Trixian clothes slowing began to change into the outfit to one that included a heavy coat. Something that would be perfect for cold, really wet weather. Aegir explained where they were going would be a cold planet and that they would be landing not very close to the Trixians.

Rei watched as the fake woman began to form gloves. The platinum blonde had no idea why they would expose their finger tips like that in the cold weather. The pirate did not understand that the Trixian finger structure worked. Still the young woman was happy that she had to hide her hands in her pocket, it meant she would not have to expose her fingers to the cold like that. She had to assume it would result in cold finger tips in cold weather. The tan-skinned woman would have to make sure she never made any hand gestures in the presence of the Trixians while she is hiding among them.

Soon the two arrived on the cold world and landing away from where the Trixians had landed. A vehicle approached soon arrived at the pirate's landing point, giving Aegir the opportunity to flag them down. Rei saw fairly attractive women climb out of the vehicle and move over towards them. The women appeared to be armed with rifles.

"Ah, that would explain why you were unable to communicate with us. Why did you not land at the landing zone, no doubt the Princess was worried about you." The guard was not wearing the uniform of the hand maidens but one of the Trixian Hegemony's small army. The uniform included a long coat to help the Trixian deal with the elements.

Aegir had thought that this wasn't going to work so well, he did not know much about the culture and had to assume a lot of things. He figured he would try, fail and simply have to dominate a guard mentally. Of course he could have just dominated guards at the get go but he often enjoyed the fun of ruses, it gave him something to try and improve on.

Right … designated landing areas. Well, by the time the guards had arrived they were far enough from the ship so that another ruse could be used. So far so good.

“For the same reasons the stablizers are out and the communications are down. Dr. Rei and I are lucky to be alive. Pirates in the nearby sector of space shot us up pretty good. I would hate to be a situation where they were actually trying to destroy a ship. I thought they would want to disable it and steal whatever cargo we had unboard … they tried at our engines but thankfully the doctor here is an exellent pirate, we were still being hit but not where they had intended so we were able to make the just. But fortunately we still have the information her Highness had requested.

Rei eyes became large at the little slip of the tongue. The last thing the pirate need would for the guards to realize that the platinum blonde was not the Trixian scientist that she was pretending to be. If the guards figured out who Rei really was she would be simply trading one prison for another.

Rei quickly tried to put on her best poker face in hope of keeping the ruse up. We were fortunate to get away before they did too much damage or else we would have come down all over the place.

The Trixian guard seemed to be almost apologetic, "Sorry, our forces are too thin to protect everyone. We really can only make sure the refugees are safe. Still if you have information for the Princess, Her Highness would the more than please to see that you have made it down here. We can escort you to her."

He had not been as worried as Rei, even if things did not work out he could control the guards but they had no reason to be suspicious then and there. The story seemed believable and while there were issues with it he could correct them the next time around.

Aenis smiled at the two guards then looked to her companion briefly.

“Yes, if you wouldn't mind -” he searched the mind of the guard to match up the proper rank with any insignia, if seeing none he would address her without a title unless their was a custamary title that he needed to use.

“Your apologies are not needed but are welcomed nonetheless. We have been stretched thin and we cannot be everywhere at once. Hopefully that will not always be the case but first things first, we must get a home world first before we can once again attain the glory that we once had. I think the Princess has finally reached that pinnacle if all holds up.”

Rei was not sure how well this was going on, but Aegir seem to be confident as he continued to talk to the guards. The Trixians, if they seen through their guises, has not given and indication of that.

The title of the guard was easy enough to read, at least from her fellow guard whose was her subordinate. The sergeant was just a member of the Trixian army and not one of the handmaidens that had been hand picked to serve the royal family.

"We all hope she is found what is needed, it would mean that our long search is over. Please climb into our vehicle and I will take back to camp."

Aegir would only use the title if there were any visible insignia to indicate that. “Yes, that would be most excellent. I do have hopes for the future. Doctor ...”

Aegir nodded towards Rei and then followed the guard, climbed into the vehicle the guards had scooted over so that Rei could get in as well. Before long they were on their way to see the Princess. He had tried to contain his excitement. He had always gotten along well with Octavia. He had to keep in mind that this was a business meeting and not one for pleasure though. Considering that she was his favorite in space to deal with of course he had a little trouble focusing on that initially until he started thinking about the keys he had yet to recover and that Minerva might be able to help him their so it was important to see about helping Rei out now.

It did not take long for the trip back though he wondered how long it would be to see the Princess.

The woman was wearing insigina that identified her by her rank, even if it would be hard for a non-Trixian to understand the Trixian military structure. Rei simply assumed to play the role of junior scientist and nodded back to her partner as they followed the Trixian soldier back to her vehicle. The vehicle then left the Cosmo Eagle, the pirate's blockade runner and began making its way back to the Trixian camp. Rei was glad the Trixians did not discuss the origin of her spacecraft, but the outlaw did not know how desperate the Trixians were for any space worthy craft to be added to the fleet.

It would only take the Trixians and the "scientists" a few minutes before they came down to Trixian camp where there all sorts of activity going on.

Aegir made a bit of small talk along the way with the guards. The ride was brisk and he wondered what all the activity was about. He had not considered the ship, never having delved into the minds of Trixians but if there were questions he would have simply usurped control of their minds …

“What is going on here?” Aegir disguised as Aeneis stated as he looked in the direction of the commotion. He realized his mistake almost immediately as this could have been something that was common knowledge. He should have silently plucked that answer from their minds to sate his curiosity.

Rei remained a bit silent as the Aegir continued to make small talk with the guards. The Trixian soldiers were more to happy to talk to the about little things. The pirate would have to just let them in order to pick up on how to pass as a Trixian...

The soldier eyes blinked for a moment. "We are constructing a base of operations as the engineers and scientists dig the device out of the ground. It is suppose to be very huge and they want to make sure they don't damage it in the process. So this is pretty slow going."

So the Princess did not change her mind. He was pleased. He was unable to control or read his mind though he had not tried hard enough for he had no reason to harm her in the process. He looked at the construction before him and the commotion their sensing that Rei was being quiet as she took notes on how to behave.

He watched a little longer, though he deemed that sort of thing was fairly standard knowledge.

“That's right, I heard it mentioned that something was being considered before I left. I'm glad in a way. This may be next to a lifeless planet but at least it is a stable place to reside at until we are able to get our home back.”

Penis sighed as if longing for that, watching the construction with interest. It looked as though the process was going to take a bit of time though so he assumed that the Princess would still be traveling the stars possibly with the search of worlds that could be terraformed.

“Hm. Perhaps someone can work out how the Ashen used the thermals. That would be great but sadly I am not a geologist and not that great at doing such things.”

She sighs a bit as they continue on. Soon enough though they were brough to one of the Yil cities and one of the larger structures that the Trixians were using. Aegir noted that their were few of the four armed natives but it was convent that they were so close. They had not seemed to mind the visitors though he surmised that may have had something to do with slaying that best further north. He had wondered if the Trixians set up something there in the abandoned city or at least had been working on something to stay apart though with their “envoy” it was clear that they had a working relation with the Trixians and having them about allowed for easier trade between the too. Still, he was a little curious as to how things were progressing and he thought to ask the Princess this. He had wondered too if she had finished that tracking device that they had spoken about last time though he would find that out soon enough.

Brought to one of the larger buildings he noted the military presence there. Soon all that was necessary was for them to do was wait for an audience.

“That's Doctors Aenis and Rei sent via Aegir.” Aegir reminded the Trixian before she went off to announce them to the Princess.

Rei could see that the project was fairly massive. Apparently what ever they were after was fairly huge and it was taking a lot of engineer knowledge to dig up from the planet. It was also clear that the Trixians were being careful not to damage the massive thing they were digging up.

"It is definitely better than that being stuck up in the ships all the time." the Trixian sergeant replied. She at the least felt that her people were not meant to travel the entire lives in the floating spaceships that carried their entire population. The woman felt that they were meant to live on a planet somwwhere.

"The Thermals?" asked the other soldier. The sergeant blinked for a moment. "Those giant vents that warm the city. To the ones the technicians are currently looking at. They had deciphered some of the technology from what I heard, but they apparently still have a ways to go."

It was not long until that soon entered the outskirts of the city. It was then Rei saw the first of the four armed natives that inhabited this planet. It was clear that the Trixians were doing their best not to hinder their settlements and were even doing what they could to help them even while they were trying to recover the Ashen technology. As the vehicle moved into the city, there was more Trixian engineers moving through the city, doing everything they could to get it up and running. All the while Trixian soldiers patrol the area to keep the engineer and scientists safe as well doing what they could to help the Yil. Eventually the vehicle arrived at a hotel that appeared to be renovated into a headquarters of sorts for the Trixians on the planet.

"One moment, doctors, I will be right back." The sergeant heads in to the building, she seemed to thinking about the name Aegir as she went. For a while it was just the disguised Aegir, Rei the fake doctor, and the other soldier. Rei was not sure what to make of it, but all she could do was wait. Eventually the sergeant returned, but this time she came with another soldier that was wearing what looked more like a leotard than a uniform. Still the new woman had an air of regalness about her with long flowing blonde hair. She spoke to the doctors, "The Princess will see you now, please follow me."
