Today was shaping up to be an interesting day. He sometimes came to the Basement to play though it had not been often that he did so. His sorts of torture were more mental than physical though sometimes, like today, he just wanted to play.

Gersham had access to magic and could do such marvelous things when he put his mind to it. He grasped his forearms tapping his claws on the length of his arms as he grinned in thought, his ears filled with the sobs of the third victim today. This was too easy … he sighed.

It hadn't been often that he messed around with the students as he spent a good deal of time at the Arena. He enjoyed a fight, though with the students the only fight he could get was a battle of wills. The strongest being “Salvation's” Sally was an interesting one, one that he actually had brought to the Arena, one that was a challenge.

Outside of her there was Amelia but that was only interesting because he couldn't touch her. Physically dealing with her was easy … her mind probably wouldn't brake any time soon.

He was in the process of considering when the former imp approached. Devils and demons did not really mix though Slarr was not a real devil nor he a real demon. He knew well enough when someone wanted something though and he gazed at the black skinned devil.

This had better be good ...

“Indeed, it is! There is a student sulking around the basement.”

So. I am bored. I have dealt with three students today already.

“But Birch told me of you demon!” Slarr smirked, he was an associate of the plant creature he had called that one time. Apparently Birch stuck around long enough to notice a few things. “She is a blond too!”

So ... Hair color only seemed to matter to the devil.

“I am too weak to get this one. Not without difficulty, anyway. I need your help.”

So ...

Slarr grinned. “It is the same one that damaged your eye! I see by that reaction you are interested in assisting me. Help me and I will tell you where she is.”

Gersham was interested now. Physically Eve wasn't in his league, she had gotten lucky that one time though tormenting her some did appease to him enough to consider the devil's words.

Agreed. Now where is she?

Her first month here at the school had truely been intristing.. including the first day. But after the first day.. things had seemed to calm down a bit until it truely had seemed like a normal all girls school.

Her "blonde" self had made several "friends" over the course of the months with the uppty ups that deemed her as "dimwitted" as they were. So she had allready wormed her way into the inn crowded with her dommineering attudute. Some of them had even tryed to take pity on her for haveing to room with a "weird" nerd type of girl. She had of course quickly put a kabosh upon such talk.. and simply saying the girl was useful.. and that was that, even if they didnt understand what.. useful ment.. Most of them just thought she had conned the other girl into doing school work for her. That of course is what most of the other "in" crowd had mostly done anyway.

Over the past several weeks she had been going into the forest. She had after all said, after her weapons trunk had been taken.. that she would recreate her assorted weapons. Her weapon of choice of course was a bow.. and she could make one with her eyes closed.

Having spent several days at least simply finding just the right piece of wood, one that she could carve into a perfect bow.. every deminision had to be right. She acutally had started carveing several.. but the first couple had not been right after she had started. She had finally found one with just the right bend. From there she had gotton herself a good bow string... not as good as the school bow strings.. but.. for what she needed it worked. She spent the next couple of weeks firehardening arrow shafts, rock chips for arrow heads.. and goosefeathers from expensive pillow... The feathers had been the harder part.. considering she found it odd there was no wild life to speak of in the forest.

All this creating had finally left her with a single bow... 12 arrows.. and 2 of the spice bomb arrows.. little packets of powedered seasonings that could blind for a bit if got near the eyes.

For this night she had desided to finally explore the basement. The more she had hurd about the place.. the more it sounded like there was a labrith of tunnels below it... Even some rumors there might be caves farther below.

That acutally sounded just like the place she needed. She needed to find a place closer to the school then the forest to hide her assorted stuff she was making. And she sure couldnt hide weapons in her room.

So here she was traveling down one of the passages having made her way down into the basement.. it was dark and gloomy down here. She was wearing a allmost skin right black sweat suit.. with a black hoodie upon it.. she had it up around her head.. and a black scarf covering from her nose below.. After all.. she didnt need to be caught holding weapons if there happen to be a securty system down here.

With bow.. and knocked arrow she explores.. With the tip of her arrow she pushes a slightly open and ajard door.. peering inside... She blinks a bit.. this haveing been the first room she looked in... it seemed to be a 10 by 10 room.. a unknown light sourse was giving the room a pale.. allmsot dusk light. The room was bare except.. a chain curled up into a pile in the middle of the room.. and it seemed to be connected to a hoop ring that was enbedded into the floor. Narrowing her eyes she shakes her head as she looks at the scene before her... half wondering just what really happens down here.

The room was illuminated by a pale magical light that spread through the room which had been little more than a holding cell here of sorts. A ring of metal was on the floor here. Attached to it were chains to secure unruly students though it was meant to let one stew in darkness as the light was snuffed out. The fact that their was a light here only relayed how recently the room had been used.

The basement was cold and ark. It was eerie of course and called out to her in eerie whispers that had been chilling. Somewhere in the darkness she could hear the crack of a whip and a student wailing in agony. Each cracking sound called out to her, each snap caused her spine to shiver as it was answered by a forlorn wail of agony but these sounds soon stopped.

What was this place? It was almost too eerie to understand and had a real Gothic feel to it all. Little had she realized that despite her best efforts she had already been seen by the very same devil that had tried to target her back on the first day but she was safe from Slarr while in the comforts of her dorm/ Nor was she aware that he had run off to the very demon responsible for her losing her virginity all those months ago.

For the time being though she was alone to explore. The next chamber was similar to the first only that it had shackles on the south wall facing opposite the door.

There were all sorts of toys on shelves on the North wall. Whips, vibrators, dildos, nipple clamps. All things she could imagine and somethings she could not.

The next two doors were lock bu now the next was similar to the first though it was a ways down the forlorn corridor. The door opened revealing a room similar to the second she had explored save for two things. One there was a key ring here with three keys on it and a single girl chained up to that circular plug.

There was a soft pale glow here and a girl on her knees. She was devoid the top and blouse of her uniform, angry scars on her back had some blue healing ointment supplied to them as she went wide eyed as the door had been open. She looked straight at the door, not saying anything yet but clearly seeing Eve as she arrived.

She simply shakes her head as she contunes to explore the basement assorted rooms.. hardly believing what she had been finding at this point. Seeming sex toys aglore down here in the assorted rooms.

She conutnes to creap along the floors.. her black slipped feet barly making any sounds as she makes her way over the seeming stone floor. The outside of the building giving way to allmost cave like rooms by the time she contuned down under the building. Her bow still held within her grasp as she contuned to explore.

At this point she wouldnt be at all surprised that the sick things on this island had equipted these.. saves so to speak with sexual traps.. from what she had seen so far, it wouldnt at all surprise her.

As she toed open another door to peer inside.. it was another simillar room again.. save.. that there was a mostly naked and bound girl leaning in the middle of the room.. She pauses... her eyes staring back at the girl.. the girl could tell she was most likly female of course from her allmost skin tight outfit... but her face and hair was hidden by the hood and black scarf coveing most of her face.

She pauses and looks at the girl simply for the moment noticeing the whip marks across her flesh. At the moment she chooses not to move. Crouching a little lower, she slowly scans the room.. taking in any details.. or shifting of dust motes.. anything that might appear to give away anything seen or unseen as the case may be. Having been training herself to look for the unseen things at this point also.

For the moment she ingores the girl as she had contuned to watch her. She knew the girl was bound.. had fresh marks.. so someone had eather just been here... or was still here... Made her consider to simply leave.. it would be much easer then haveing a confontation.

Nothing. She looked into chamber with a degree of caution. Her eyes scanning the room and noting the various implements hanging on the walls. At first she had assumed it was outfitted like the first though now she took a good, careful look and realized that there3 were some sex toys here but mostly torture equipment or stuff that could be used in creative ways to induce torture …

The girl whimpered, obviously hearing the door disrupting the otherwise silence in this room. Whoever was here probably made it clear that they had left. Had she feared that they returned so soon?

The student weakly pulled at those chains. “Nooo! Stay way!” She screamed out back peddling as far as he chains would allow.

There was her blouse and bra in the corner of the chamber she assumed.

Still standing within the door.. she keeps her bow taunt... the arrow still knocked. She didnt trust anything about this place.. and least of all a girl chained topless within the middle of the room.

She narrows her eyes slightly at the girl screaming.. but that didnt overly phase her.. its not like she hadnt ever hurd anyone screaming because they were scared before.. In her fathers line of busness.. it was kinda a normal thing.

She didnt trust this.. it was all a little too convenant.. a trapped girl that needed saving in the middle of a room.. something about this screamed trap as far as she was conserned.

So she was left with a choice.. she could attempt to help the girl.. or simply just contune on her way.. after all.. She was down here in the basement in the attempts to find a room where she could hide her stuff that didnt look like it was in use.

Sighing a bit to herself she creaps softly into the room.. her slipped feet padding silently upon the floor as she stays on the outside wall of the room and makes her way to the corner where the girls clothing had been carelessly tossed. Her eyes were contuneing to scan around the room for any signs of anything, not trusting anything further then she could see.

Useing her foot.. she kicks the girls bra and top back toward her.. hands never releaseing the tension upon her bow, her eyes allways active.

She still chooses not to say anything for fear of listening devices within the room.. after all.. right now no one knew who she was.. or what she sounded like.. so she was still in desquise.

“Who are you?” the girl asks as she looks Eve over, the salve doing wonders on her skin as most of the wounds on her back have already healed by the mysterious ointment. She can get the bra on but has to wait on the blouse for the time being seeing that she cannot pull it on over the resteaints on her rests.

She guesses that Eve is another student here and wonders how she got the bow in the first place. It doesn't look store bought of course so she assumes that the other girl made it. An archer? You did not usually make a weapon that you weren't at least proficient in, right?

Rhaine assess the situation, recalling what was said, that they were finished here today and someone would be along to fetch her today at some point but it was obvious to her that this girl wasn't who the three eyed man intended to send.

Slarr brings the demon to the entry point where he had seen to blond.

“She was here about ten minutes back. I don't know why she was snooping about. I was about to leave a message, slid it under the door for her room mate as per our agreement when the door opened and out she came … I'll spare you all the details but by the time she made her way here she had been armed. Thankfully I was invisible back at the dorms and would have chanced taking her on myself but Birch mentioned that she was tough enough to injure your eye last time and my ambush her might not be too effective. How do I know it was here? Well I make a note to pay attention to all the blondes on the island, sight, smell … the perfume is exquisite … Birch was descriptive enough to point me in the right direction. I had to make a few assumptions and educated guesses but I'm fairly certain she is the one.”

Gersham rubbed his chin. She had ten minutes on him but he new the network of passages better. Eve, if this was indeed Eve, would be delayed by exploring. He considered this. Stay out of sight. Do not interfere until I tell you, regardless ... Slarr nodded then went invisible as Gersham walked down the passage, lights blacking out as he went along.

Chooseing not to answer she contunes to forward movement around the room. Though, despite her bow being at the ready nothing.. seemed to be moveing despite the girl within the room.

She compleates another circet around the room not saying anything to the trembling girl within before she makes her way over to where the keys happen to be hanging. She stops beside them and lets her eyes flicker around the room.. and toward the door again.. Eyes and ears both tuned and listening for anything she could.. or couldnt see.

Considering she had reason to reviel herself.. hense her.. hidden garb to keep her in desquise.. she wasnt going to say anything that the girl here that was traped might be able to use to ID her later. She raises her thinly gloved hand and grasps the keys pulling off the hook..

She turns toward the room again and quickly throws the keys toward the girl chained again.. letting them land on the floor within her reach. With that.. as far as she was consiered.. she was done with the girl.

Readying her bow again she stalks toward the door.. contuneing to allways be just as careful, listening... as she was the intire time she had entered the basement. If the girl choose to free herself and flee.. fine then so be it..

She stalks toward the door and the hall intent on contuning to explore more of the basement.

The girl looks both frightened and confused as Eve continues her circuit. When she tosses the keys Rhaine let's them land and pauses as she looks at them. Was this a trick? What was going on here? Should she free herself or would that make matters worse for her?

She does not wish to stay put though. She hesitates a moment out of fear but considers that the demon had been finished with her, at least for today. He didn't do much to her other than mentally berate her again and beat her, the worse being the sting of that lash.

“Thank you,” she says as she unleashes herself.

Slarr goes invisible and Gersham continues on. Normally he wouldn't do the dirty work of another though he had an invested interest in this one. Up ahead he could see the pale white light spilling into the corridor from the room up ahead. He slows down, considering that he has found her now.

Now he was going to play with her a bit. Even so their was no sense in taking unnecessary risks and as he weaved his enchantment Eve would notice that it got darker in that portion of the hall way. Someone or something was cutting out the lights that side of the corridor and was getting closer to her position just a few rooms away for now ...

She Still doesnt say anything at the girl even as the girl thanks her for her release.. She just hoped she wouldnt regret letting the girl go in the future.. But for now.. she had other things to do.

Haveing made her way back over to the door she glances out it again, her eyes barly creaping around the edge as she was allways careful.. Her blond hair hidden within the hood, and face hidden from the blackscarf.. if anything she really more or less looked like a shapely black ninja in her appearence.. the only "off" thing about her features was the bow and quiver of arrows strapped to her back.

As she glances down the darkened hall.. she was used to the lights being out in this place.. she had forcused her eyes by keeping her eyes closed outside to get her more of a night vision.. it trained ones eyes to be used to the darkness more before she had entered this place to do her exploring.

Even as her eyes catch the glimths of the lights dimming some ways down the passage.. she slips out.. and makes her way away from that accournce. Not wishing to be there when if anything came for that girl that was within the room. So.. keeping her back to the wall and her stealthy ways about ehr she makes her way down the halls.. considering.. bypassing a few doors just to be away from this section for the moment anyway.

What was her problem? Why wasn't her benefactor speaking? Rhaine had turned her attention to the manacles that secured her to the floor unclasping one but before getting much further Eve slips out. Gersham sees her curtsey of his third eye, even if he was not gazing in that direction for all hidden things, naturally or not, had been revealed to him.

He watched her slip away from the cell that Rhaine had been in. He was finished with Rhaine today, like last time just practicing on his corporeal skills. He hears Slarr whimpering lowly. He knew that was Eve or maybe Juniper, did it matter? He noted the differences in the two girls and how they moved. Their seemed to be more of a spring in Eve's step and he doubted the journalist would resort to using a bow. He had hoped it was Eve … blonds were more fun, though girls with brown hair still gathered his attention.

Gersham followed as did Slarr though he paused at the cell, the girl within had just finished buttoning up her shirt when she saw Gersham at the door.

Going somewhere, Miss Fischer?

A scream, it was Eve's warning that something was in that darkness. And then an excited voice, one she knew all too well.

”A BLOND! HEHE!

Focus. Eve.

Slarr compared her with Eve, no fair he had to pick just one, though Eve was the harder catch and he had Gersham helping him right now, might as well take advantage of that. “Let's go.” He says with a sigh.

Eve is at the end of the corridor it split going right and left. To her right at the end of the corridor there were stairs going up, the one on the other end had stairs going down. She would have to make a decision which way to go as the darkness in the corridor slow crept towards her.

She contuned to creep down the hall, Staying in the shadows for the most part. Her bow was allready ready within her grasp. She contunes to ponder as she moves silently in the hall.. her eyes allways roveing back and forth threw the gloom watching out for anything that might be of intrest.

She half snirks to herself though as she makes her way threw.. it was allmost like exploring a castle.. now if there was just torchs burning on the wall.. well.. she didnt have time for flights of fancy.. she had to contune to put space between her and that girl that had been in the room.

As she makes her way down... a scream echo's from behind her.. her eyes quickly darting to glance back down the hall.. shaking her head... just as she feared.. someone had been about to return and that girl would most likly "rat" her out for saying someone had released her from her bindings.

She shakes her head slightly and moves further along the path.. making her way around the corner and travels for a bit until she comes the intercection... she hmms a bit seeing the stairs heading up.. and then down. She figured that who ever was down here.. would figure anyone trying to get away would head upstairs.. in the atttempt to get out.. and most likly most of them would be right.

She reaches into her.. hidden pockets she allways has on her somewhere.. and brings out a small stone with a red ribbon wraped around it... she smirks to herself.. and tosses that stone towarded the stairs heading up.... leaving behind.. evedinince that she had been in a hurry and run up the stairs... Before anyone could come around the corner to see her there.. she makes her way down the passage and down over the stairs.. heading downwards into the growing gloom.. figureing who ever was tracting her would follow the stone.

Her sneakers where special.. allmost like slippers in nature as they didnt leave a tread... as to let her walk move softly and be light on her feet. So she makes her way down the stairs heading deepr.. into this seeming smaller complex... with who knows what hideing under this place... bow still ready..
