Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
The man nods at her though he didn't know much more than she he was guessing. “The witch wants something from us and had her goblin minions capture us I suppose, bring us to her at Llynoria, at least they did with me, and shoved me though a portal to this place so it's evident that they don't want us going any where.”

He saw that she was shivering a little and took the blanket off the top bunk as he approached. She was given the mangy blanket, the only warmth that she would receive down here.

“Nick, Nicademus, he runs this place. Scary guy, he deals with the unsavory side of things here. He's the head of the guard here from what I can tell.” He gestured to the other side of the cell. There were two more bunks there indicating that there were two other “guests” that were unaccounted for at this stage.

“Well met, Flame. You can call me Typhoon.” He extended his hand and took it. Whether he was thinking the same might be irrelevant. They could escape from this place but be stuck forever on this Shadow. He hand shake was limp though, their was no real strength to it.

“These collars radiate anti-magic. While we wear them we cannot use magic I'm afraid.”

“Just as many people but they were all nobility and had outside help. First there was the Prince of Llynoria, Puck who was rescued. The dwarfs possess a ring that allows them to open a portal here and the gave their assistance and the second time the dwarfs came to rescue their Thane, Crom and the Queen of Llynoria, Alynia was present so they rescued her as well. Outside of the dwarfs the goblins possess access to the other ring that opens portals. There is a third I am told but it has been lost and probably not on this Shadow so we are effectively stuck here until the goblins come for us.”

She was unable to use magic, it was as Typhoon said. The collar was actually metal though looked and felt like cloth as it appeared that the exterior of the collar was unaffected by magic and the interior radidiated ant-magic or did so when clasped closed, it was hard to tell without closer examination of it.

At the back was a clasp that looked the collar together, obviously these devices were far more advanced seeing how the Queen escaped while wearing one of the old metal ones. Something a bit more advanced had been necessary here especially with what the witch had in mind.

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
"So it doesn't necessarily have to be something we've done .." Her eyes drift off to the side though return back to his when he stepped toward her. "Thanks a lot." She flung the blanket over her shoulders although it wasn't the most comfortable cloth she'd felt thus far, but if it spent warmth the rather thin gown couldn't offer then who was she to complain?

"Sounds like a real charm.", she replied dryly to his notion of Nicademus although she figured that they'd have no means of avoiding his presence at one point or another. Ryu nodded when he told her about the witch, Llynoria and Nick. Most of it seemed alien to her having spent the last years in the Shadow of Brindel so she wasn't up to date when it came to such local affairs. "Makes me wonder what they're planning to do with us if they go through the trouble of picking us up from all over the world. I'm from Brindel myself, though I've been in Sirocco for quite some time until .. well, now."

"What about you, Typhoon? Where did you come from?" The empty bunks suggested the two would be sharing the cell with another pair though they might've just been empty for no reason. Lacking any real hints as to what the witch he refered to was planning she might've captured two other wizards in control of elements that weren't yet present in the cell though that might be as good a shot in the dark as any other. Typhoon at least was the blatant counterpart to her magic department which is why she figured that made sense, but only briefly before discarding the thought.

"Anti-magic collars, no kidding .. You don't know how to take them off, do you?" Ryu figured they could be removed with tools though by hand and magic it seemed an impossible task. The hand unable to summon the heat she'd been so familiarized with at the time clenched into a fist though the red head refrained from giving in to this provocation their captors subjected them to. Instead she looked at his while touching her own as she examined the piece as best she could, though gave up quickly when she discovered her inability to open the clasp she found near the back of her neck.

"That's just perfect." With annoyance she turned to look out the cell since inside she hadn't seen anything useful. They were quite literally stuck in this lackluster prison, at least for now.

Though the mention of Alynia got her immediate attention, she hadn't forgotten the name of the one she competed against back on campus a long time ago though the two might not be related at all. That information was intriguing but nonetheless worthless since she doubted they'd ever get a hold of that ring or contact anyone on the outside, not to forget make use of the artifact if they managed to attain it. "If that's true, aren't you worried we're not going to get out? What happens if we're no longer of use to the witch or refuse to do as she says? A lifetime of imprisonment or death, I take it."

Ryu sighed as she put her hands on the iron bars, using them as support for the moment as her form neglected the perfect posture she'd been in until then by bending one of her knees ever so slightly and lowering her head in the process. "I don't like the idea of having to await my fate doing nothing, if I'm completely honest with you .. That doesn't mean I dislike our little chat, I assure you."

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
“Yeah, I don't think we ticked off anyone. My work was mostly scholarly, save for beating out one guy for my apprenticeship years ago I can't think of anyone with ill will towards me. Your welcome.”

Attention often went to her sizeable chest but Typhoon was keeping his gaze transfixed upon her red eyes. He had once to really take in her features as a man does so often when meeting a woman for the first time.

“Nick's a real sweet heart, you'll love him,” he says with a sarcastic roll of his eyes. He thinks on her location as he tries to piece stuff together. “Sirocco, known for it's deserts and fire magic, Urik being an island has strong water elementalists. There are two empty bunks and while it is speculation at this point I'd say we'd have an earth and air elementalist joining us. You and I are from the same Shadow of Brindel so from there I would recon for whatever reason.”

He considered for a moment. “Specifically in Urik I am from the capital Garuun city. But yeah, anti-magic collars. No attempt can be made through magic to remove them obviously though an excellent locksmith could probably get them off, then again ... These ones are a bit different. They’re metal, I saw them before they placed them on so maybe you can remove them with magic since the interior is obviously anti magic on the inside but the outside makes an illusion, I would have to spend some time looking over an unaltered one to be sure."

After Ryu inspects his collar with no success Typhoon answers her questions about the witch. He had thought about it too.

“Chances are she needs us, why else snag us in the first place and since there is nothing here I'm assuming that she'll have us brought to some place more interesting. I thought I was alone in this until you showed up so now I'm inferring a few things.

“Since the witch would probably kill us once we are no longer useful she needs us right now. I'm willing to bet that we will leave Carrion at some point, which is better to make our escape. Why else the collars? Even if we do escape we couldn't leave this Shadow on our own and no one is looking for us.

“I am worried, Flame but worrying does no good. I have to focus on the opportunity ahead of me and what I make of it, of course I could have miscalculated and it might be that you just happen to be a fire elementalist by chance and that whatever is planned is coming here.”

He returned to the bench and sat down. “Neither am I but we water elementalists are like water. We flow with things though I am aware that being a fire elementalist you must be a bit chaotic and think we need to do something but there is little we can do but bid our time.”

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
She didn't have much to say in that regard herself. A large portion of her memories were gone such as most of her daily life and trying to figure out something as simple as what she had for breakfast that day seemed like an impossible deed.

Knowing that Sirocco was known for its deserts she wondered little as to why she felt rather chilly at the time, if one were to spend all day in the desert heat and sun then this cold, dark cell was anything but comfortable. Typhoon being used to the harsher climate at the sea he didn't seem to have as much trouble handling it, something she envied him for although she remained silent when he continued with his explanation of things. These collars were obviously designed differently from what he knew so far in which case she seriously doubted they'd ever get them off without utilizing a third party unless one of their possible guests turned out to be a locksmith of some description.

All things considered he seemed to be taking to the imprisonment rather well. He knew more than her in any case so the next question seemed almost too predictable. "How long have you been here anyway?"

Briefly considering his next answer she breathes a relieved sigh. "It's good to know I'm not alone in thinking that way. I'm not one to blame someone for worrying as long as they're able to stay calm and think things through more clearly than others."

"Of course the chance of not quite hitting the nail on the head is always there though I have to admit I've been having the same thought, that she seeks to combine those four elements even though the reason eludes me."

Ryu didn't truly understand how this world functioned though the scholar beside her had figured out some of their unfortunate circumstances which was a plus one way or another. She considered briefly what to say next although she didn't enjoy contemplating what the witch would forcibly use them for. "Might be we were just the most convenient to capture at the time, so that assumption could be as wrong as any other. In time we'll find out anyway so I try not to settle for one possibility in particular just yet."

What he said next, however, had the red head smiling for a bit. "Well, that comparison is true I suppose. I tend to be a rather feisty firecracker and being locked up isn't exactly my idea of having a good time."

Watching him return to the bunk she decided to do the same albeit hesitantly, she didn't mean to intrude yet the closeness to another heat source couldn't hurt, their bodies sinking back into the shadows though by now their eyes were used to the dark and able to see clearly. She kept a distance as best she could, sitting down on the other end clasping the blanket tighter about her neck and chest whilst laying one thigh over the other concealing what the gown normally failed to hide. "Since we've got nothing planned, I gotta ask. What's up with that Harmonica of yours, how come the guards didn't take it from you?"

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Typhoon of course had been use to a temperate climate. He might not go out as much with his studies but even indoors the temperature fell much lower in the winter so he was somewhat use to it. In any regard he was more comfortable than she though she suspect that even if if grew cold enough for her to put on a display of her nipples Typhoon was less likely to notice or care … he didn't seem overly interested in women. Murk on the other hand …

The ogre could cause some problems especially without the use of magic. This was a giant so Typhoon physically was no match. Mentally it was a moron and that was if it were smart. Chances were that he possessed the intellect of a stupid moron.

He held up two fingers. “Today is my second day though I had a brief orientation, not as to why I was captured. I guess it was more of what I saw. They dumped me into one prison, transported me here and I have made simple observations, like the grass color here being purple denoting what Shadow I was one though all the tortured souls, living and dead sort of gave that away. I was just settled into my sell when Nick wanted me and, well if all holds true you'll met him soon enough.”

He sighed a little and shook his head. No sense in explaining that and getting her all worked up over something she had no control over.

“Oh, I assure your I am quite worried though I channel it in different ways. I can't control the present and must flow with it for the time being at least.”

Typhoon considers. “I can think of only a few possibilities though it would do us no good. I'm going to keep those thoughts to myself though. It's not that I don't trust you but you could be a plant by the witch to pick my brain and I don't want to give her ideas. If things look bleak and I have to stall her to escape then maybe I'll supply them but even that is probably a bit to much information,” he chuckles a little then shakes his head.

“I'm not revealing anything that the witch does not already know but you may be right about why we were targeted."

He chuckled at the question. “Because even with these I still have access to a talent that they cannot remove. You know of gnomes, of course you know of the diminutive tricksters. Well they can speak with animals. I can speak with rats. Even here in Carrion there are rats. It may be crude but they bring me harmonicas or at least what I could fashion as one. It's pretty easy to make one, I use to make them.

“Either the guards see no harm in them or got bored of taking them off me in the short time I've been here. So, yeah I guess that's another thing that the witch is better off not knowing but I don't think you're going to rush off and tell her. You look cold y dear. Our cell isn't as warm as Sirocco is. You're welcome to have my blanket if that will do you any good.”

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Ryu merely nodded although in her head she recalled the events of one of the dream scenarios she experienced back on Shokushu, one of the more grueling fantasies taking its toll on her she considers how to lay it out for him. Typhoon seemed cautious in the depiction of his arrival here so she decided to share the story, leaving out most of the details because explaining how she happened to end up in another world was beyond her abilities at the time.

"This isn't my first time behind bars, actually. Before my studies in fire magic even remotely began I had been imprisoned elsewhere albeit in solitary confinement, subjected to experiments and torture while witnessing the unspeakable horrors taking place all around me somewhere along the way. Some of the less fortunate souls perished before my very eyes though in the end I managed to escape in a favorable chain of events."

With confidence she looked at him although at the notion of Nicademus she briefly focused elsewhere. There was no telling what he had done to him, after all. "I guess what I'm trying to say is .. I've managed to endure. I'll just have to try and face Nick the same way I faced my former captors and see if I can do so again."

Thus far it hadn't occured to her she might've been manipulated by the witch or one of her henchmen into thinking she was a prisoner here, deliberately acting the part and adding to the illusion or anything of the sort. His chuckle is met with a snicker of her own, a hand sheepishly brushing through her red locks. "I don't take offense in what you're saying. For all I know the same could apply to you, just someone to spy on me although with my memory gone that'd be an incredible waste of time, now wouldn't it? Then again I wouldn't even know if I were just a pawn in her game designed to extract information until she'd somehow return those memories to me. It's an amusing dilemma, really, but since every prisoner desires escape what is there left to know that's not already known?"

If one were to be trusted remained the answer to that question which she remembered from her jailor back in the day, not that it mattered any since either time or desperation would drive them to cooperate regardless, she figured.

What instruments existed in this realm anyway? Were they the same as the ones back in the world she knew or would he be puzzled if she refered to her favorite instrument? "I'm more of an ambitious guitarist myself so I doubt rats would do me any good. I'm impressed, though. Did they bring you anything besides harmonicas or is that all you asked for?"

Already she had felt the partially erect nubs as they press firmly against the fabric from below so she gladly took him up on his offer, smiling, the arm reaching for it covered in goosebumps. "Oh, yes please. I'm freezing in here. I'd conjure a fire if I could, but .. well. Collars, ha ha."

Encasing her body from the waist to her thighs with this layer of cloth she felt considerably better than before, content with the temperature for the most part she sighed before proceeding. "Don't worry about it. I'm more than willing to keep that between us .. perhaps the others as well if there are any and you decide to let them in on it."

"If we're gonna be here waiting a few days for them to scoop up the rest of our little group I'll return the blanket whenever you need it. Until then I'd rather warm up .. Words weren't necessary for me to know what Murk thought when laying his eyes on me and I don't plan on appealing to him more than I already have. Pain is one thing, but mating with such a disgusting beast .. that is just sickening." Shuddering, she wonders briefly if it's because of the fading cold or the images flashing before her eyes, but then she ends up simply shaking her head trying to come up with another topic.

"Save for your encounter with Nick, did they lock you in here all day? Did you receive any meals?"

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
“We could use some of that luck right about now,” Typhoon grins as he looks at her with renewed interest figuring that maybe his earlier assessment was wrong maybe she knew patience after all or was smart enough to take advantage of opportunities that crop up which was reassuring considering that they might not have much time to plan and would just have to act.

“Good, I don't wish you thinking I'm guarded without a reason for it. I have little choice in sharing some details with you eventually. I am going to have to take that risk that you are not a plant at some point, or rule that you are one and refrain from telling you much else.” As it were there were going to be a few test answers and questions during this conversation that would point him towards those answers.

“Oh, what the rats have brought me … perhaps I will tell you in time my dear, just in case. Nothing very useful I'm afraid. There are few useful places here on Carrion and if it were not for a prison that spends all his time crafting such objects in another prison why I wouldn't have these instruments. Apparently they are trusted with tools ...” Typhoon trailed off with that though as he considered further, watching her reaction to that answer.

“Of course, if we could remove the collars then getting out of the prison would be a synch at least. We'd still be stuck on Carrion but at least we'd be able to do other things ...”

“If I need the blanket, or you get to cold we can share,” he lifted up a hand. “I wouldn't do anything, as beautiful as you are women are just not my think, though the beds if you will are a bit on the small side there is always sleeping on the floor it isn't much worse. A blanket beneath us, one above we should be alight against the cold. Quite frankly I didn't like Murk's looks at you either and while this is a prison Nick still runs this one so maybe something could be cone there, I wouldn't hold your breath but it's an option in which we would not loose out on.

“I've been shut in my cell most of the time save for my little talk with Nick. Meals come twice a day it seems by the same portly orange skinned goblins so I have determined that they might have two shifts, his first and last duties each day I imagine would be to feed me but so far it's just a suspicion, they could be goblin twins for all I know.”

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Perhaps in time she could make him realize that she was to be trusted, or she couldn't and would escape without his help. For now she relied on his word alone on the world around her, so it seemed somewhat unfair that he denied the same amount of trust though what little he gave away was probably his way of trusting someone. At least that thought offered a little bit of comfort. "Fair enough .. In time, then. I'll prove myself, you'll see."

Ryu turned to him then, surprise in her tone while gently tugging at her collar. "So you're saying we could get these removed somehow?"

That, at least, had been some good news. "How would we even go about doing that? Get transfered where they're given tools? Have your rats bring the tools to us? My, I wouldn't even know where to start .." As thoughts about removing the collars and finally being able to use magic crowd her mind, she realized that in retrospect it might seem odd to ask how it's done. "Sorry, I don't have to know. Whatever you wanna do is fine, either way we're sitting ducks in here unless these damned golems are currently busy elsewhere."

Even with their abilities they'd be at a disadvantage if the magic resistant machines were on the prowl in the area or were used as guards within the prison unless they weren't even on this shadow. They must've caused her some serious concussion if they managed to erase that knowledge from her mind, although she didn't feel any wounds at the back of her head she felt even more helpless than usual.

Typhoon's offer, while carefully phrased, wasn't an entirely welcoming suggestion. "Y-you're not serious, are you?" Blushing strongly she felt the sudden rush of heat to her cheeks to be relief from the cold, but despite the embarassment and inevitable denial she rolled the idea over in her mind.

Maybe if they laid back to back, she thought, but if she laid with her front against his back they'd probably distribute the warmth a lot better. She flat out refused to consider another possibility that crossed her mind, although the idea in itself was quite shameless already. "Erm .. sorry .. I'll consider it."

Her eyes narrowed at the merest thought about the ogre. "If he'd prefer to make my stay worse he won't hesitate letting that thing ravish me like the filth this prison truly is." Looking back to it she might have to settle with the situation for a bit, they could be stuck here for a while and a poor attitude wasn't helping. The woman sighed before continuing. "Perhaps Nick can be reasoned with, I'm sure if I present my case adequately he'll at least prevent anything like that from ever happening."

"Is the food any good?" She said jokingly though part of her guessed it was good enough to be considered edible, but nothing fancy. "Huh .. Well, if that's the case and they show up twice a day then at least it's easy to tell the time, I suppose."

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
“I look forward to that day but yeah, I think I could get these collars off if I knew how they worked. I think that's the reason for the illusion so we would have to find someone to dispel it before being able to look at them but there's probably some bypass or trick that we are not seeing.”

Typhoon considers the collars for a moment longer. “I will not say to which yet though as no surprise the golems pose the greatest threats since they are all but immune to magic and I lack the physical means of challenging them directly as do you. Perhaps one or both of our other guests to be will be better prepared on that front.”

After a small amount of considering he has something reassuring to say about the golems. “Most golems are fairly expensive to craft so I can think of plenty of thinks for them to do outside of simple guard duty unless guarding a high profile target you don't want getting freed.”

He chuckled a little at her out burst and shook his head. “No offense taken but the offer does stand.”

He hopes that she can arranges something with Murk and when she asks about the food he laughs. “Goblin chefs so it hasn't been more complicated than peanut butter sandwiches. And even that ...”

He brakes off when he hears foot steps. Two green skinned goblins arrive one unlocks the cell, his hand dropping to the hilt of his sword the other entering the cell aiming the point of his spear at them and babbling with his head making motions towards the door.

“It looks as if it's time for your orientation, Flame.” Typhoon glances at her then points to himself. The goblin shakes his head vehemently then points at Ryu.

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Talking about the golems she couldn't tell if they were important prisoners or if others were imprisoned here that were. Typhoon was a mere scholar from what she knew and Ryu herself had been advanced enough to receive a nickname of her own though nothing hinted at the fact they were considered high profile so at least initially that wouldn't be one of their main concerns.

Whatever he meant by saying women aren't his thing she probably would've accepted the offer if she was in dire need of warmth though as it were she had some time to think about it, not that it mattered any if she got any colder in which case she'd eagerly seek bodily heat more than anything.

Ryu then concluded her thoughts shortly after, their conversation interrupted by footsteps headed their way. A pair of green skinned creatures came into view, coming out of the shadows of the neighbouring corridor.

The so called Flame eyed the goblins thoroughly as they approached. They weren't very impressive looking, lesser creatures lacking in both physical and mental proficiency although the woman noted with annoyance that they had been armed. Overwhelming them was a distant thought at best all things considered, not so much the fact they could injure or kill either of the captives if they were short tempered, but as it turns out they were to escort the sorceress elsewhere which put her at minimal risk.

Their language was unknown to her, but upon seeing the motions toward her seated form and listening to Typhoon's view on the matter she decided it'd be best to play along. "Not like I have much of a choice."

Part of her wished she didn't have to go, but she wanted to know what she was in for and cross Murk off the list of things to worry about. With a smile that was more half hearted than genuine happiness, she took a deep breath before glancing at Typhoon once more. "If anything comes up and my meal gets here before I do, well .. Don't eat my sandwich."

Unwrapping one of the blankets and leaving it behind she stood up, not knowing how long she'd be gone she figured he could use it at some point although she kept one wrapped around her neck and chest for now to conceal her naturally impeding predicament. Reluctantly walking out of the cell she carefully avoided the tip of the spear, genuine fear running down her spine as she looked at its tip since despite the wielder it was as deadly as any other. Red eyes shifting between the two she was waiting for another gesture by the time she passed the metal door, anything that'd lead her to their destination without causing too much trouble.

“No worries about the sandwich, it will be here.”

Flame was lead along by the two nasty goblins that had been looking for any excuse to flex their muscles as jailors so to speak. Individually goblins were weak but sadistic things though Flame to their regret behaved.

There was an issue with Murk though approaching at one stage and trying to intimidate the goblin's it seemed though one seemed to cower the one with the spear was giving it back just as good as he got and in the end it was Murk that walked away.

So thereafter they brought her to a chamber, the goblins screaming something at her as she came to a room light by white magical torchlight. Chains dangled down from the ceiling and one of the goblin's pointed to the shackles then motioned to her. He then seized the fabric of her gown tugging against the fabric of her gown.

It had seemed as if the goblin's were charged with preparing her for what was to come. The room looked like something out of a horror novel complete with a rack in one corner and an iron maiden in another.

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Their trip had been without incident for the most part and she was grateful for that, although that harmony had been disrupted by the bulky outline of Murk approaching. Startled by this revelation she was worried he might just relieve her escort and take it upon himself to lead her onward.

Despite her initial thoughts about the goblins one of the two actually proved to be rather brave, however more likely bold and stubborn in almost every sense of the word when opposing the physically superior ogre. Surprisingly enough it was the latter who eventually departed, she figured it wasn't the last time she'd see him but even then it gave her the shivers. If they weren't going to kill her then a heart attack might as well do the job for them.

By the time they reached another room the pair suddenly lashed out at her, screaming at the red head in an obscene and illegible tongue that caught her by surprise rather than actually instructing her what to do. Although she'd been overwhelmed at first this initial feeling of shock faded quickly, the woman standing there somewhat perplexed which even the goblins couldn't seem to misinterpret.

Only then did she become fully aware of her surroundings, having been a mere puppet just moments ago, following them blindly. The chamber they were in was clearly destined for torture, the iron maiden and rack filled to the brim with instruments of pain and torment were evidence of that. The scene felt oddly familiar, chains dangling from the ceiling like a bad omen attached to shackles one of the goblins gestured toward.

This place was demonic and only for a moment she wondered what exactly they were planning on doing with her. She reflexively reached down to secure the cloth he began tugging on although it didn't take more than a split second for something to flick the switch inside her head. They planned on securing her limbs, effectively robbing her of the last bit of freedom she still retained in order to do whatever they pleased with her, possibly remove her gown in the process if that ever occured to them. Typhoon hadn't appeared injured from the outside so that thought wasn't all too distant, that they removed the clothing and allowed them to put it back on afterward.

That didn't sit right with her, she utterly refused to be tied up in here, fear and panic dwelling inside her very core became unleashed at the merest thought of it. Nick hadn't been around or at least she hadn't seen him until then, but if they were going to torture her anyway she chose to at least make them work for it.

Knowing that goblins were physically weaker she instead pulled back, shaking her head 'No' while her grasp on the blanket loosened some as she yanked her entire body in the opposite direction in hopes of throwing the goblin off. "Get your filthy hands off me!" Ryu was convinced they'd punish her harder if they got her under control, but right now she prefered to bring as much distance between herself and the shackles as she could.

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Was the goblin bold? Perhaps he was a bit on the stubborn side and had reminded Murk of his place even if Murk could flatten him in about two seconds should the goblin try to hold his ground against the ogre.

Not knowing any of the behind the scenes stuff or the goblin tongue Flame had little to go on save that the threat of the ogre was very real as he hung about the area. He was one of her jailors so it was rather expected.

Goblins were the brightest of creatures and with a little pantomime they may have relayed the wants easily enough. They weren't even the warm up act as they were charged with bringing her here and prepping her, the reason why one had managed to get Murk to back down earlier.

One goblin grabbed at the blanket and pulled it away as she moved back from him. He was left holding the blanket though the smarter one acting at her show of defiance as she shook her head.

He had a job to do and she was making it tougher to carry them out. She was making this tougher for him and while she might have been bigger and stronger than him he had a great equalizer in the spear.

Bringing the haft up he, being less than average strength could still get his sixty pounds of weight behind the swing to her ribs holding little back. When she doubles over it is the point of the spear she finds at her throat.

The goblin is barking something out at her again and drops the point of the spear down so it drops over one of the straps of the gown, snakes beneath it and cuts. And he barks out something again before making a gesture towards the other strap then pointing to the shackles with the spear point before leveling it back to her.

The other goblin drew a short blade by this stage and said something to the first who answered soon before he moved behind her and waited. As weak as they were, goblins knew just how weak they were and had no end to the underhanded ploys to use to even those odds and exceed them.

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
While removing the blanket revealed the firmness of her nipples straining the fabric over her chest the chains were a more pressing concern she prefered to avoid despite how humiliating it was to be seen in such a state. Chances were they'd have removed the blanket sooner or later regardless so it had been a minor loss at best.

Letting out a shout of surprise and pain at the strike to her ribs she scolded herself for not realizing this could happen earlier, reaching down to the spot where the spear impacted to soothe the pain as her form twists slightly, finding herself hissing then freezing in place when the goblin brings the pointy end of his weapon to her throat. Drawing deep, controlled breaths she first looked down at the goblin, then the lengthy pole that threatened to take her life at a moment's notice.

Her face being a grimace of anger with subtle hints of pain and fear she observed with repulsion how one of the straps of her gown was cut, the hand holding her ribs descending there to hold both ends in place although that seemed pointless at this stage. The goblin made it clear that if she didn't obey and put herself in the shackles the other strap would be next, one way or another she was going to be tied up.

Perhaps her earlier conclusion had been misplaced, maybe Typhoon hadn't been relieved of his clothes but rather had them fixed up before being delivered back to the cell in one piece, if he even resisted that is. If he didn't then what could be so bad about being tied up, she wondered, but in the end she wasn't all that eager to find out.

Although she felt compelled to surrender she had been curious as to what the two were discussing, waiting for an opportunity to once again disobey though she wouldn't be quite as foolish this time around. Drawing his sword one of them moved behind her and while in the process of doing so, Ryu decided to try once more not caring what they'd just said.

Bringing up a hand as quick as she could she reached around the head of the spear, going out of harm's way to try and seize control of the weapon there before pushing it away from herself, making room for when she dashed forth to try and use her own weight to overwhelm the gobling carrying it. The spear had been the only advantage safe for the sword that they were in posession of, by disarming the one with the spear first she would have superior reach while at the same time moving away from the one with the other weapon behind her.

Not that it really mattered if it worked, she was hoping that they didn't expect her to act so she had a chance though either way she'd be stuck in this prison and even with a polearm she could only last for so long.

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Murk's reach without a spear had been considerable seeing how he stood at over nine feet in height though the rest of the jailors appeared to be goblins in which case she would have an edge against her. But as she moved the goblins were ready for her brash behavior.

They had been informed that she was once a fire elementalist and like Typhoon she had a bit of skill. So as she grabs at the spear in hopes of turning it aside the goblin behind her dashes in, smashing the pommel of his sword at the base of her neck.

He quickly draws a dagger while she's helpless, spear goblin kicking her in the gut, wrenching his spear back and thwacking it against her upper back until the fight leaves her.

The two converse quickly, the one with the dagger making short work of her gown and any under garments as they leave her completely naked before forcing her into those restraints.

They leave her, shredded clothes on the floor around her she is left alone for some time before the steel door opens behind her and in wants a man in a white suit and gloves. His blue eyes look over her bruised back as she hears him approach, a grin on his features as he came.

He set a hand against her shoulder. “there, there, Flame. Escaping would do you little good. Where would you run? Allow me to introduce myself. I am Nicodemus. I will be your warden while you are in my care. I am told that you are from Sirocco but apparently remember very little. Let's see just how much that is, shall we?”

Nick reached around her cupping a large breast and squeezing before letting her go, “My, what large breasts my dear. I bet you get compliments on them all the time.”
