She looked across the table at him breaking down and shaking because he was scared. She had never seen him like this it was kinda unatural, so Kate reached across the table and took his hand in hers and held it tightly and said, "It all right your with us now. You here in a ADD base with me guarding you everything alright."

(FYI not crying just scared in recollection. His people can't cry due to the disease)

"Thanks. Ha, that man will be terrible upset when he finds out I went traitor. I only hope some of the higher ups are nearby. He'll surely kill someone in vengence." I tell her.

She smiled as he seemed to regain some of his unusual charm back, smiling at his return to form she said, "are you sure he will miss you that much you must of been close to him."

"What he will miss is my mind. I was the head scientist of the most important research in his department. He's tech department will be set back ten to twenty years without me at least." I tell her.

"Good," she said firmly. "YOU probably done more damage to his operation then the whole ADD," she said," SO what do you plan to do next with you time I mean what do you want."

"The same thing I wanted when I agreed to join him. A cure for my race of this afliction. I'll give my talents to the group that can help me do that." I tell her.

"So what was this date about then, if all you wanted is a cure for your people why aren't yo working on it right now." She asked him waiting for an answer.

I swirl the drink in my class, something only me people could drink as it was blackish achool with a unique refining process. I down it in one gulp. "Thats my profression and ethical goal you could say. My personal goal's are a bit different. Such as making up for the slave time I had you and hoping that it won't stop a relationship forming there as I grew quite fond of you." I tel her.

"So you have personal goals that nice to know and you want to make up for lost time. I supose everyone has that feeling from time to time, but I can't do anything with you. I just can't not tonight not ever." she a sad tone dominating her voice.

"Ha, I see. Well I'm sorry to hear that." I tell her as Pizyap jumps onto the table and hands her a note pad and pen. He then goes over and holds up a sign. 'Is this for your commander to hear or how you really feel?' I ask her as I know about the listening device in her blood.

She tokk the pad and read the card that Pizyap then held up. Strangely she wasn't a bit suprized that he knew about device that was in her blood stream. So she began to write down on the pad an answer to his question on the card, she wrote after a while, 'I am under his orders he is threating my career. But that not how I really feel. '

I wave my hand and text changes on the card Pizyap is holding up. 'That's what I thought. If you want I can find a way to fool them so we can see where this takes us.'

Kate thought for a second she as never going to find what the general wanted now he knew she was bugged and even if she didn't like the only way shee was going to find out anything was to say yes to this propersition. So she began to write on the pad, 'Okay lets do that then.'

'Very well' I tell her with the paper again as I get back to speaking. "So I'm just not your type eh. Hmmm, guess I'll have to live with that." As I go back to eating my food. As Pizyap went over and begin digging for something as we carried on a conversation.

"Yes you'll have to forgive me but I don't go for the offworld type, just not my thing. You understand right?" She said playing along with this little charade waiting for him to make his move and fix the implant device.
