As the outfits were for her servants, pets, and slaves; she was not that concerned about a few things going missing here and there. On this island, having things disappear was not impossible, especially if there happened to be colorful pixies nearby. The shoes most likely needed cleaning at this point though it still did not explain why Daphnee spoke about what she would do with the laundry. It was nothing new and it was practically routine for Daphnee to do something like this after a visit. But, Vera's pet was too exhausted and it was much too close to time for class to warrant correct the woman further.

"Very well," Vera replied simply, "Do not forget your studies. You may go now, my pet." There was nothing further to add. The Head Girl would look up, ensuring her pet was finally leaving before returning to her work for a few moments. Beyond that, her day would go on its usual schedule though with a prepared lunch in hand. Whether Daphnee would just deliver the Head Girl's laundry and leave or stay to serve further mattered little in the end. Either way, Vera's pet was still very much loyal to her owner.

Daphnee leaves. She aches with each step but attends class and tries to focus on matters though a lot of her focus is on the laundry or fiddling with the bell she wore as she considered the matter. The fact that she had been attacked there once enters into her mind so it takes a lot for her to brave going back there.

She is fine today though, she returns after class having but the laundry in the drier before leaving the tower she returns to fold it.

Later that afternoon she does a little shopping, tonight spare ribs with macaroni and green beans, nothing too fancy but in her state she didn't want to go fancy tonight. She even gets some baking soda to assist with getting the scent of sex out of the shoes, cleans them as well as she could for now then sticks them in the closet with an open pack of baking soda.

Returning to the tower with her book bag and change of clothes she has a few books today managing to dig out her student hand book she might get a chance to look at a few things but doubted that.

She takes the laundry up to the tower, the brown bag with a few things in it was in the laundry basket. Getting to the door she pauses then sets down the basket so she could knock on the door.

As promised, a knock came to Vera's door later that afternoon. She called for Daphnee to enter. Her pet had the Head Girl's laundry among other things with her. It almost looked like the girl was moving into the suite. Her pet was going to make dinner again this evening. It was not that big of a deal. It did not hinder Vera's plans much.

She let Daphnee do her usual thing, putting away the laundry and whatever other chores the slave had planned. Vera was reading a book on her sofa, relaxing a bit for the time being. There was still work to be done but not all of it involved her computer. Her magical studies were also part of her work. NICE labs had their very own test subject when it came to studying magic users on the island and the effects of the island's inhibitors.

"Do prepare dinner earlier today, Ms. Von Heinrich," Vera called, "Make a plate for yourself as well." It would not be long before the smell of cooked food starts coming from the kitchen. The Head Girl closed and put away her book when it came time for dinner. As always, she ate at the table though this time Daphnee was allowed to join her immediately. The two ate quietly unless the violet haired woman had any questions or concerns she wished to voice first. After a few moments, Vera spoke up. "Once you finish with your chores, you will be dismissed. I suggest you use that time to rest up for the weekend. You will be spending your weekened with Ms. Deas. You are to obey any and all commands she gives you and assist her to the best of your ability. Use this opportunity to learn a bit more about others who serve me and how you may apply such traits to your own methods. Are their any questions?"

This was unusual, though not a big matter for concern it was just a change not seeing the Head Girl fast at work on her computer. Daphnee did not want to seem like she was smothering her Mistress but said that she would be by the evening. She had a few things to take care of and left her Mistress alone doing a bit of cleaning and even getting the bathroom cleaned, floors washed, toilet bowl and sinks tidied up.

She was still sore of course but that was no excuse not to keep productive. She cleaned an organized though another unusual order, to start dinner a bit earlier. These changes weren't alarming, just different but she adapted well to the changes.

“As you wish.”

Another change, she was allowed to sit with her Mistress without delay. Was she dying or something?
No, this was not the usual but she obeyed without any hesitation.

“Yes, Mistress.” Was she being dismissed? Was this bad news? Something else? She tried not to let her mind run away on her but remained focused on the present and tried not to make such immediate jumps and assumptions, she had been guilty of that in the past.

“Her orders will be obeyed as if they were your own.” Well there would be the one exception if they ran contrary to her Mistresses' … wait a second, not that she thought that would be an issue but if she got another order that contradicted one of Anne's and she listened she'd be disobeying now by not listening to Anne … maybe … but her Mistress hadn't been into tricking her so she doubts that there will be a problem.

“No questions at the time Mistress.” She could have asked how to get into contact with Anne but wanted to show she could be resourceful, besides it wouldn't be too hard.

She still had the shoes, they weren't cleaned yet but that matter was probably not going to be much of a concern for her Mistress and it was unlikely that they would be needed before next week when the baking soda, hopefully, got out all the smells of sex.

Unless there was anything further she cleans up from dinner, sees to her Mistresses book bag being packed for the next day and even gets out some clothes and fresh linen setting them atop the hamper for when her Mistress actually got around to showering. After getting a lunch ready for her Mistress she thinks for a quick moment. Oh yes, the ache was definitely there but she had been infused with more energy.

She had thought to wash the kitchen floor too but did not wish to push herself. The whole point for an earlier meal probably meant that her Mistress had other plans that she was not going to get in the way off.

“Clothes for after your shower are already out for you atop the hamper and I fixed a quick lunch. It's on the top shelf near the fish from the other night.” Unless there was anything further she departs with her book bag in tow, all in all perhaps she'd get to read some of the things in her student handbook after all.

There was nothing to gain from tricking a slave, especially when training one. Vera had no special plans. She was simply giving her pet a slight nudge to get started instead of waiting. Besides, it was about time Daphnee met her fellow sisters of servitude. Kite probably would have been a bit more pleasant encounter. Anne, it depends on how protective she will be of her mistress. Vera had made it quite clear that she will have multiple slaves. But, there was nothing stopping her Prefect from giving a thorough inspection to ensure all slaves were satisfactory.

Dinner continued in silence. There was some conflict in Daphnee's aura but it could just be nervousness. There was no going back now. It would be up to Daphnee to decide how much she will prepare a first impression for an actual Prefect. Her pet finished eating and began working on the rest of the chores, picking up the dishes once the Head Girl finished her meal. Anne would already know to expect another during her usual duties throughout the weekend. Vera went to her desk to do a bit of work, waiting for her pet to finish with everything and take her leave.

Vera nodded at Daphnee's final words about the usual things, laundry, clothes, lunch. "Rest well," she said softly, letting her pet leave. The rest of the night was to herself once again. She looked forward to what reports Anne have for her newest pet.
