Krisna knelt down in front of Scorch to get a better look at the poker chip as she examined it her self while Scorch was displaying it to her. Krisna just gave it a confused look befor giving Scorch the same look and cocked her head to the side. " A casino? whats a casino?" Krisna said with a kind smile asking nicely befor she felt Scorch's hand sweed down the curves of her breast as pay back for befor, forcing the travelers cheeks to redden as she gasped at her gentle touch.

Krisna kindly looked at Scorch then back at globe befor awnsering her question. "Oh that?. Its just a servayor droan... its harmless..." Krisna said as Scorch touched the traveler, however she would see the floating sphere suddenly react by turning bright red as it quickly scanned the red head befor shocking the hand she was using to gropp Krisna's breast with a suprising harmless zap.

"Ahh!!" The travler cryed afther Scorchs hand was shocked as Krisna quickly jump to her feet to scramble out her tool and flip open the holografic screan and type a quick code as the droan blinked out vanish in a cload of static befor she turned to scorch to grab her shocked hand. "Oh I'm sorry! I think I-it thought you where hurting me..." Krisna said as she rubbed Scorch's hand to make sure it was ok befor kissing it to make it better. "I'm sorry!"

“A casino ...” Scorch considered the easiest means of explaining. “It's a place that caters to games of chance if you win you earn money but if you loose you loose money where you can wager various amounts for each game. Most of the games involve playing cards. This chip is one of those that you buy from the casino that you can cash in for real money so if you win you can cash in the chip to get money but since the casino uses chips with various values you can walk around with few chips to transport enormous sums of money.”

She listens about the droan but soon pulls her hand away as she is shocked. "OWW!” it's pure reflex, she isn't harmed as she nurses the hand before Krisna shows it some attention.

“it's alright, it was more shocking than painful.” But with Krisna showing it some attention she was not about to argue, here finger sweeping through her blue locks.

“There is on such casino on a world near here.”

Krisna smiled as Scorch told her she was ok, letting her lovers hand go as she brushed the travlers blue hair a side. "Good I didnt think it would do that... I guess I should really program your face into the friendly touching catagorie." Krisna said with another big smile as she got up off the ground help help Scorch up of the ground.

"So people go to these places, give away money at Casinos? Only to watch people flip paper squares on a table? for those chip things?" Krisna stated putting the whole thing rather simply as she paused to think about it a momment while tapping her chin to dwell on it. "That sounds kind of silly." Krisna smiled at Scorch as she said it thinking the idea was funny. "people in your era need to find better uses of their time... Casinos, Flower dogs and no clothes...." She finished with a giggle as she holstered her tool and looked back at Scorch and smiled agin. "Lets go! I want to see a Casino!!"

“Essentially you got it right.” Scorch smiled. “People use money to get these chips though they often loose them all with their wagers. You can win at times though and depending how much you wager you can win a lot but the odds always favor the casinos.

“You can cash these in for money though so if you win a lot you can make a lot,” she holds up the chip for emphasis.

“We can't bring our weapons into the casino and will probably be best if we get dressed up too. Now we can assume that whoever took the device gambles, hopefully and we might hear something like someone needing to visit a junkyard or something, maybe even the hiring of someone to go. Doubtful but what other leads do we have to go on, save that whoever towed the wreck there -” she paused and thought it over. Whoever sold it for salvage might have taken the engine come to think of it and the chip could have been as simple as belonging to a prior owner. She'd get that information from the service droids before leaving so they could check that out if hitting any dead ends.

“Yeah, I guess somethings from your perspective will be rather silly. OK, lets get going. We can get better clothes at the planet before checking out the casino. If it doesn't turn up anything I've got something else.”

After traveling a short distance and leaving their weapons behind they do a little shopping, Scorch getting a scarlet gown and purple elbow length gloves. She gives Krisna the chip with the 1,000 credits on it.

“Ask to have this broken up into smaller denominations, casinos frown on it if your not gambling. They'll offer you free drinks while you play so don't drink too much, they want to impair your abilities.”

Afther leaving the junk yard planet and moving on the pair stopped befor hitting the casino that Scorch so kindly took the time to explain to the curious travler that Krisna made sure to document for her findings and afther a little shopping Krisna side stop the pair where off to the casino as planed.
The pitstop at a clothing store was intreasting for the travler to say the least as Krisna was over taken by the chocies of so many colorful garments. She simply could not decide her self as she wandered the store confused for a time befor a small group of store attendents took Krisna into their care afther taking the curious travlers much needed measurements of chorse.
Standing half naked infront of three strangers was a very strange occation as Krisna could not help but think this was nothing like being with Scorch at all but it was quickly over and done as they found somthing for the travler to wear post haste. The attendants stuck the petiet travler in a little white strappless cocktail dress that showed off ever curve, with a baby blue choker with a silver pendant around her slender neck and to finish it off with a pair of light blue matching heels.
Shortly afther the pair arrived at the Sunrise casino Krisna could nothelp but look around, oviously giving the every one around here the idea shes never been to a place like this befor as she ooed and awed ever thing she saw befor Scorch asked Krisna to take the 1000 credit chip and cash it in for smaller ammounts. "Ok.. where will you be?" Krisna nodded taking the chip, not having a bag or place to put it she simply held it in her hand for now befor she hugged Scorch bye for now and walked off alone to find the chip exchange.

“Over there,” Scorch pointed towards a few of the poker tables. “1,000 credits isn't a small sum nor a large one so I'm banking on the fact that he or she must have earned it a quicker way. I doubt much will come from this but we have to try and you wanted to see a casino anyway.”

After the hug the two depart and Krisna exchanged the chip for ten 100 credit ones. Each table could make change for it as well.

The casino has a mix of high rollers and average people though the high rollers tend to be grouped together at their own tables. High and low rollers do eye her though observing her from afar until a saurian like creature approaches wearing a breath mask a sheer indication that the atmosphere must have been deadly to it.

“Greetings, first time at a casino I see.” He seemed to be wearing the attire of one of the upper class. "I am called Cinder. Tell me, what is your name?”

Krisna had no clue where to exchange her chip since she never been to a casino befor so Scorch telling her where to go help. Afther exchaging her chip for ten smaller credited ones did Krisna say thank you to the person working at the exchage as she realized she had no way to carry her chips as she tried to stack all ten neatly in both hands as she walked away from rhe exchange. "Ohh.. I should have got a bag!" Krisna mummbled to her self as she walked alone tring her best not to drop them every where not noticing the other players on the casino floor eyeing her.

It was befor Krisna ran into an intreasting looking creature as she looked up suprised to be spoken to by a stranger. To her suprise however he was wearing a upper class style suit and a gas mask that intrested the travler the most but she didnt want to be rude stareing as she closed her eyes and kindly smiled at the stranger. " Yes! Its my frist time here, Ive been to a place like this befor." Krisna said with a cheerful smile as she slowly shifted her chips into on hand to put hers out to shake his. " Nice to meet yoy Cinder. I'm Krisna." She could not help but giggle to her self think about how shes met two people so far with names that involve heat.

He takes her hand but rather than shake it he turns it and brings it up to his face touching it to the mask. Perhaps if he did not wear it he would have kissed it. He then points at the chips as he releases her hand.

“Most people for instant would exchange chips at a table. You would have to try to carry them around and if you win big you can just exchange them for a chip or chips of larger value so you do not need to carry so much.”

He explains, his gaze shifts from side to side the doad about to shock him from the contact but he releases her arm when he notices it and looks at it wondering what it was before his attention returns to her. “You need to be careful. Many people have already noticed you. Stick with me and there should not be any trouble. I usually don't pay much attention to these things but in your case I thought I'd make an exception."

Krisna was a little tooken back when her hand was brought up to the mans mask covered face and pressed agiest it but she quickly realized it was a gesture of polietness she has seen used many times in records of old world custom. It made Krisna laugh as she smiled at him kindly and nodded to his state ment. "Oh.. I thought I had to carry them. That good toknow thank you." Krisna said as she noticed his eyes behind the mask staring at the small golden glowing holografic droan hovering over her sholder watching his every move befor releasing her hand.

"Notice what? Am I doing somthing wrong?" Krisna wondered afther he mentioned her wandering as she took a quick look around and began to notice the other people on the floor staring. "is it becuse of goldy?" Krisna looked back to him then to her droan and thought for a seciond. Having her droan around might put people off. "Oh sorry I forgot the Casino rules sad no weapons. whoops." Krisna said with a smile as she reached up to simply grab the solid hologram out of mid air as she held it between her fanger and thumb to crush it, or more like flatten it as her new friend would see her then hold it up to the pendant around her neck the pressit agiest the silver jewlrey where the soild holofrafic droan would stay now fainly glowing around her neck for safe keeping.

"Well thank you for looking out for me Cinder." Krisna would say with the same kind smile as befor. "I would love to "stick" with you, its nice of you to care so much thanks agin!"

“Oh, nothing that you're doing or did.” Cinder adds as the doad is taken care of for now. He watched it as she compressed it. “It's just that exquisite women don't come through the Sunrise each day. Not on this word anyway given that trade in this sector has diminished and the recent Adda conflicts have made this sector dangerous for he usual tourists.”

He gestured for her to follow taking her to one of the card tables. “Care to play? This one is a table against other players and not just the dealer as usual. Do you know the general rules of poker or is Black Jack more your think?”

Krisna could not help but blush afther hearing some one call her exquisite as she smiled a little shly and look floor befor she heard somthing els intreasting. "Adda conflict? What is that about." Krisna ask as she fallowed Cinder to a card table and took a seat beside his where the travler finly got to sit her chips down in two neat stack infront of her.

"Uhmm.. Yes I would love too!" Krisna nodded yes to wanting to play befor she heard him ask if she knew the rules,Krisna simply hung her head disapointed at the question. "No, I dont...I never played either one." She shrugged. "How do we play?" Krisna asked Cinder wide eyed and curious as she leaned in to listen to his explaination on the game.

“Oh, yes, the Adda. There a war-like species, four armed lizards though they were primitive someone's been giving them a lot of tech and showing them how to use it. It's said their leader use to be a slaver and they've done a lot of that in the area. The ADD organization has had a few skirmishes with them, nothing major but it's enough to keep tourists at bay.”

He didn't think she'd know the rules, she seemed to be a clueless young girl. Pulling his seat along side her he had the perfect excuse for assisting her. “I'll help you.” He explained a quick break down of the rules, what beat what and so forth.

“I'll help you out.”

Krisna was sure to tap the now droan infused pendant around her neck as she listen to her friend Cinder about the Adda war skirmishes. The faintly golden glowing hologram turn to that of a dim sea blue recording his two cents on the war currently happening as the travler seemed to pay more attention to skirmishs agiest the the ADD then his explaination of the game. " So these Adda people are being given weapons? Why?" Krisna wondered as she left her pendant on record for now incase more note worthy information came up to cataloge later.

"Oh thank you so much! I get so lost with new things!" She smiled kindly as Cinder pulled his seat beside hers to help teach her play the game the two sitting close now. "So how do we begin Cid."

“It's thought that this slaver, this small timer but the name Goro, has been revered by the Adda for whatever reason their fanatical about defending him for some reason and he has introduced them to space travel and modern weapons.”

Cinder explained. A nick name? Well, he didn't mind given that such names were a sign of affection.

“First we all ante up. It's 20 chips so you'll have to brake on of you chips. Next you'll be dealt out five cards and can discard cards. After which everyone checks to either raise if you think you got a good hand or check meaning you don't want to do it or fold in the event that the pot is raised but you don't want to increase your bid and thus drop out of the game. You do this if you don't think you have much, but at times you stay in and try to fool others with inferior cards by making others think have something good.

“You pretty much have to play your cards against the other players.”

"Thats odd why would this Goro person do that?....Ok." Krisna nodded as she listen to Cid, placing one of her 100 piece chips down on the table to be broken into 20s. "So like this?." Krisna said afther asking the dealer nicely smiling kindly at Cid. "Lets play! this sounds fun!"
