Rebecca's mind is pressed full of information while other stuff was suppressed for the time being. She gets to the labatory drawing open the door after a brief knock.

“Hel?” She calls tentatively before entering the building. At her side is a kendo stick and she is dressed in an obi, sandals and a simple green sash.

Her attire is somewhat out of place though she is dimly aware that she has just returned from a long trip.

“Sis? Are you here?”

In four hours, Hel managed to collect at least a thousand gold piece's worth of jewlery, money, and various other items she figured had significant value. The assistant heard her sibling call from downstairs and rushed to her. This was bad, very bad. Rebecca arrived home early from her trip...

"Sister? Is that you?" Hel poked her head out of the corridor into the lab, running and embracing Rebecca in a tight hug. She pulled a chair out for her sister and explained Trevor's debt to her.

With a small crack in her voice, Hel said, "I hoped you would have returned home later so you don't have to see any of this..."

“Fifty thousand!” After a loving embrace she had listened to her sister explain. She had been back from her martial raining early simply because there was little to learn. Those that seemed to have the skills of new art forms were too busy to teach.

Still that was too much money to make in a single evening after all. Even in a few months time that would have been a daunting task.

“So how much have you gathered? Nowhere close to that I take it. How confident are you in your studies? How far along are you?” Of course Aegir had things in mind to get their adventure started ...

The violet haired girl avoided looking her sister in the eye she asked about the money, "Well l've started to study some defensive magic, but it's probably not enough.... I also managed to find some things that we could give those thugs to pay a small amount of the debt."

Aegir watched on. He continued to feed the required information to Rebecca, it had been some time since he had encountered her and had been unable to resist touching upon her sleeping mind. He would grant the pair a matter, a dream neither would forget and since they ran in different circles the fact that they would compare notes had been next to nil in the waking world.

“Defensive magic ...” Rebecca murmured wondering if that would be enough. It would have to be for there was little choice. She considered as the goons could have been appeased for a night but what about the next and the next

“You'll have to flee and take the head start. While I was up North kicking ass and taking names I did a little studying too and what I have to say is probably going to sound a bit extreme but these guys are just going to keep coming since Trevor is gone.

“Either you have to track down Trevor and bring him back to face the music or … well take on the Steel Dragon, Fang to the South. If we cam take him out then his treasure hoard will be able to cover the debt … it might even be feasible to track down Trevor first to form a stronger party to do it, grab a few warriors given your defensive magic, there's got to be others stu – down on their luck willing to try most anything at this stage."

"A-are you sure?" Hel clutched her sisters' hands as she spoke, "I think one of them is a better wizard than Trevor, and I don't want to leave you..." She thought for a few moments before speaking again. "Do you think the warriors at the taverno could help? A lot of them really like me..."

She hugged Rebecca again, "Maybe we get rid of that dragon on our own'"

“Better than Trevor?” Rebecca didn't know too many spellcasters though.

“But yeah, I'm sure. From mu understanding Fang isn't as powerful or large as the other dragons but he's collected a fair bit of treasure. If this wizard follows us though ...” Rebecca considered in her mind for a second.

Her thoughts shifted though. “We can check at the tavern, getting people to go dragon slaying is tough given their reputations but that guy Rafe has always had a crush on you so you should get him to sign up. Isn't he some oracle or something?”

Indeed Rafe was. He had been a redeemed bandit, she would remember as Aegir allowed childhood memories of the boy now young man to filter through her mind accumulating in him leaving at a young age and getting mixed up with a bunch of street toughs. He was captured by a paladin and his troupe and made to reform at the church and actually became one of their oracles but he had some experience at fighting and mending wounds it seemed.

Eclipse had been the crime syndicate that Trevor owed money too, a very powerful one at that.

"Let's go get Rafe then!" Hel stood up and dragged Rebecca to the tavern. When they arrived Hel pushed open the heavy wooden door and turned to her sister, "Wait right here," she said.

She was greeted by many large, burly men before she made her way through the crowd to where Rafe sat alone. The assistant explained their ordeal to him and whispered something to him that made the young man blush intensely. He stood up and followed Hel as they met with Rebecca at the tavern entrance.

“Alright, will do.” Rebecca felt sort of naked without her blade and she didn't know anyone present. It was not often that she dealt with thugs or street fighters though she knew how to take care of herself.

Not many men approached her though she was attractive there was just an air about her that said that that was a bad idea.

Rafe was easy to convince, Aegir made that one easy of course and it would not have taken much to acquire his talents. He might no have come out and said it but he was a little more than infatuated with her.

Whether the lure and temptation of money from a life long ago or the promises of the flesh or whether or not he just helped her for the sake of helping her.

Of course, Rebecca had noticed the blush on her sisters lips and had wondered what that was all about.

Time to stir things up a bit … the tall and short man from earlier and four other enforces entered the tavern.

“Planning on a trip are we?”

Finally, something was going to be alright. Hel convinced Rafe to join them, and they were going to slay Fang. As soon as Hel turned around to exit the tavern, six dangerous-looking men walked in. Two of which were the thugs from that morning that tried to make her "pay" the debt with her body.

She practically felt herself burn with anger as they approached the trio.

Trying to look as intimidating as she could, the assistant replied, "That's none of your business."

Rebecca sized up the opposition, six to three. Eclipse goons and already she could see the other patrons sulking out of the way with their drinks. It was no surprise that they had wanted to get out of the way. The men were spreading out around them making a small crescent around them.

She listened to the exchange and knew that this wasn't going to go well So she did as any sensible warrior who was outnumbered did. She attacked driving a knee into the chest of the largest man there …

… before the short man could respond the taller fellow doubled over. There were two men in front of each, the taller and shorter man in front of her, Rebecca wheeled to face the two that were in front of her as her sister was given a moment as the shorter man instinctively looked at the larger as he suddenly crashed to his knees. A spinning kick to his temple dropped him unconscious before Rebecca's full attention was on the two in front of her.

Rafe stepped a little closer to Hel touching her on the shoulder, his spells were mostly defensive in nature too and her skin hardened as if it were steel though the two men moved upon him, one smashing a fist into his ribs staggering him back out of the attack of the second man who also swung a fist at his ribcage.
