It fits her seeing that with her sleeping disorder the only safe activity for her would be hiking/walking.

Personally, I think I like the idea of a late night ghost story session the best, but then we will need one or more monsters. Any takers? If not, I will happily volunteer the pixies or Striktor.
Any other ideas are more than welcome, obviously.

Sounds like fun, for a ghost story type play Gersham or Ortix probably works best for me out of all my school bound monsters, I'm game.

Both Gersham and Otix would have a blast with this, I think.

And I have no problem with multiple monsters too depending on interests I got enough of them to effectively generate one per student too. In addition to Gersham and Ortix I have Slarr that works with blonds and Birch for those that wish of an easier time of things too, I can play it by ear or request too. Tinman is an opportunist too, I'd probably avoid Aegir since he so often sets different tones in his stories but keeping to the horror element I have several beings to choose from based on interests.

We have monsters. We have girls. Great!

So, everyone, sorry about abandoning our thread.

I was thinking, just in case something similar happens again, perhaps we could make it so that if the thread has not been posted in for more than 48 hours, it is okay for someone else to post out of turn? Does that sound like a good idea.

Also, there is at least a couple of other scout characters who are not in the campfire thread. Maybe we should come up with something so everyone gets to play? Any ideas?

Apologies for the late reply, okay a few months late reply. I figure the scout master could have individual recruitment threads, where she takes stock of her potential members. Another idea is to have a sort of club meeting, maybe the tramps have some sort of building they use out in the woods as a club house. You know since they are an outdoors club, I figured why would they settle for a room inside the university walls. Personally Sara had all ways meant to be in the tramps with her love of the out doors, but she was also meant to be sort of there field medic as well. Personally I'd like it if Sara meet Astrid as a sort of a recruitment thread. It could even possibly done as a flash back to quickly jump Sara into things. Another idea is those who didn't make it to the campfire meeting get a certain brand of discipline from Astrid.

Individual recruiting thread would be cool, but I am not sure I can promise that for everyone, time issues and such. I am not adverse to a thread to introduce your girl, though, but I need to get a better overview of my backlog firs before I can promise anything.

A clubhouse in the woods would be cool. Maybe some of the scouts wander across some unused building of some sort, and the Tramps try to get permits to use it. Could be an idea for a thread

Astrid is not heavy on the discipline side, she is not a headgirl or anything, so it is limited how far she can push her authority. Then again, I can see her administer some sort of embarrassing punishment to Tramps that she thinks need it, possibly with an element of fun to it (fun for her, at least).

By the way, I think I have been awful at keeping things going. I think I need some help to keep the action flowing. Are there anyone who feels like taking the initiative to something? I think it is high time we appointed a blue scarf. Any applicants?

For a while I have been thinking that it would be appropriate for the Tramps to put up some sort of social event, in order to recruit new members and give existing members a chance to socialize and get to know each other in a social context. Today at lunch, for no particular reason, the thought metamorhed into an actual idea. Since I am an expert on getting ideas, and then doing nothing about it until I forget them, I thought I should share it ASAP for once.

A Graeco/Roman themed event, a toga party if you will. Fun, sexy, slightly decadent, and making costumes is as easy or involved as the individual girls want. Wine is a problem, considering school policy, but substitutes (including ordinary fruit juice) will have to do. Pia, technically a Tramp but with shoddy attendance, will be gently browbeaten into serving as an attendant slave girl, in case anyone wants someone to hand feed them grapes. Non-tramps are more than welcome. If the party turns into a Graeco/Roman inspired orgy, then I certainly will not do anything to stop that.

Astrid, ever hopeful, added the names of some of the hunkier teachers/staff to the Student Activity Supplies Aqusition Form, but the management declined. Still, there ought to enough nymphs, goddesses, muses, and hetaera amongst us that no one should miss them.

I imagine that this would be a student common room thread, but it could possibly be a Dorm thread instead, if we decide to let some monsters crash the party.

Keeping a multi-player thread going is a problem, but I got some ideas to help move things along as well.
