Ve'Tah watched as Nail sorted out the stones form largest to smallest. Of course he could get others, it was fairly easy after all though he had brought back a mix of sizes rather than one or two larger ones. He listened, it seemed as if she were in her own world.

She did not seem to be listening to the history of the Suva Raina, but she was the Terra bionna, of course she already knew this stuff!

Now dagger had been a familiar word but he had to give pause, the translation stone should have bridged the gap between what she had meant but the Sianga had no term for shrapnel.

“What is shrapnel?” He asks wondering what it was and how the stones could be transformed. She was an Earth Goddess so transforming stones such as this should be easy if she willed it.

pieling up stones largest to smallest Nail simple spoke to her self. Taking the largest stones off to the side inorder to fasion into a better weapon later. Meanwhile Ve'teh watched her seperate the stones, curious she guessed as she looked twords the small young lizard afther he asked the meaning of shrapnel.

"Uhmm... Shrapnel is....well." Nail said while she seperated the stones, stoping to think about it. "Well....uhmm where I'm from there are things called bombs. We warriors use them to hurt others or.... demolish structures for reasons good or bad..." Nail stopped and tought for a minute as she decided to be more simple about bombs since truly she didnt understand their inner wprks either. "These bombs explode with a great big flash and a loud roar while erupting fire. " Nail explained as she deminstrated with her hands inorder to make her point. "now shrapnel... shrapnel is what we call things people use to pack around bombs inorder to increase the destructive area of which it can kill....like these stones." Nail'explained holdig up some stones. "so when my bomb finilly erupts it will shoot these every where and hopfully will hurt the Suva Raina bad enough for me to kill it..." Nail said explaining by holding a handful of smaller gems to Ve'teh then placing them back down in its pile to keep sorting the gems. Afther finishing Nail would find the largest stone Ve'teh collected for her and lay it on the table inorder to examin it befor she would pull out her survival knife and attemp to chip at it inorder to sharpen the stone and create some kind of knife.

“Ah, shrapnel …” he understood the reference and the uses, the Sianga were primitive though not stupid and he vaguely knew what explosions were. Once upon a time the Thul had access to weapons that “exploded”. He watched the demonstration that she put on helping her sort the stones by size though as she went to work with her knife he had noted that the material was stronger than the stone, at least the metal could chip it.

They did similar things chiseling away at the stone by smashing rocks together until they made a shape with the desired sharpness. It often took hours of hitting the rocks together at various angles though her knife seemed strong enough to chisel some of the edges away provided that the weapon did not hit the stone head on where it seemed to have no effect, just at those weaker edges though it looked as if she would make better time with it.

As she worked it did not take long and her guide would help get started on another if she so wished. In either case he spoke while she worked.

“So, the idea is to use this stones as shrapnel and catch the Suva Raina in an explosion. It is vulnerable to these stones and the plan can be effective, especially at the field of stone or on a path from the old settlement to it that it would have to travel as it is always going there to eat. Clever. It may work depending on how strong these explosions are.”

"Yup... thats the plan..." Nail said as she chipped away at the largest stone, chisling the rock down as it slowly began to resemble a crude knife. " Yes...if your intell is correct then these stones can cbreak its crystalized body... the explosion should hurt it too depending on how close it is when it goes off..." Nail explained as chipped away, befor long she finished the knife as she held it up to see her handy work only to place it back down to do some finishing touches. " Yeah... that it does... I only Hope its strong enough to hurt it.... its not the first time I underestimated a enemy." Nail said finilly finishing her knife, placing it on the table only to sigh with a light blush.

Nail looked was almost like she was ashamed as a hand reached for her own midsection to gently hold like she had a scaring injury there as she remainber her previous encounters with the galaxies most devistating monsters who had there way with her simply becuse she made a mistake or underestimated them, but her memory was short lived as she immediatly got back to work sorting, with her guides help she finished quickly and when they where finished Nail pulled out that cloak she wore whenshe first came to the village, cutting off a large piece of the heavy fabric in order to hold a good ammount of shards befor tieing it shut and dropping it on the table for Ve'teh to see. "There... now when I set my bombs Ill places one of these over each one and when the Suva raina comes along then Booom! he will get a shower of razer sharp crystals."

He may have had doubts if he was aware that she was mortal that in the past things had gone wrong for her but he was oblivious to these thoughts of doubt as she paused briefly then got back to work. Ve'Tah helped gather up the stones.

The young Sianga had only thought that the explosion would send the stones in all directions with more force than a bow, at least he had assumed.

He picked up the first bag, it was of decent weight though he could shoulder it easy enough. Other shards had been gathered up most of which the Sianga would carry. He would go with her and watch as she set up the explosives.

Regardless of if it were the field or one of the routes to the field to Suva Raina they had not encountered it, perhaps because it had already gorged itself that day.

“It comes to the field both morning and evening to dine,” Ve'Tah told her so that she could prepare properly. It was up to her as to where to set up ...

Nail repeated the process of making bags and filling them untell her poncho was completly used up making roughly 8 small sacks of crysals used for shrapnle.

Retriveing the her boms, Nail made sure to examine each one, checking their ignition charges, timmers, detonaters and motion sensors befor carfully packing them away in her field backpack as she slung it over back. Ve'teh her guide appeared to insist on carring them but she let him carry the shards instead as they both departed for the Suva raina's hunting grounds.

Once there Nail scowered the area, looking for the Suva Raina, but had no luck of spotting it as she hoped to get a glimps, was a shame she thought as Nail knelt down flipping her pack over one sholder to draw out a explosive.

"Ok... I think we should place it where it normally goes to eat... how about over there? " Nail said pointing to what she assumed where a mass of shards as she carfully walked over to a large collection of crysals, clearing a spot befor placing her bomb, arming it and placing a sack of shards on top to cover it.

Nail would repeat, setting mines and shards both spread around the area where Ve'tah said it eat, placing evenly aroud both locations where it eat morning and even incase they where to late this time Nail thought. Afther she finished up Nail dusted her hands off and triggered each mine to motion sensers, arming them to blown once they where moved or raddled to much as she moved away from te field for safty. That and if this thing really read thought she wanted to try and stay out of its radius of hearing. Choosing to stack out a few hundread yards away, using bolnoculars to watch the Suva Rainas feeding spot.

“That's good.” Ve'Tah nods as the explosives are set. They do not see the Suva Raina but they see signs of it having been there, it's tracks showing that it was quite large.

Moving back for safety reasons after arming the devices they waited. Nail and Ve'Tah had no need to worry about the Suva Raina that sensed psionic creatures and hence the shards that it ate. Fafner, Genosh, they were in danger though there was some danger as long as Nail carried her shard with her as the Suva Raina could sense it.

It was later in the evening when she saw it, a tremor rushing through the ground as it came into view, a multilegged creature with a slender dark pink stony body. Whether it possessed flesh beneath and this had just been an armor plating of some sort or if it were solid stone she could not say.

Even the teeth and claws were stone of a different color, a yellowish shard. It seemed oblivious to the fact that the pair had been their and while it's body seemed to be a darker shade than the stone shards the shards had to be just as hard or harder than it's body seeing that they hurt it.

Soon there was an explosion and a roar of tremendous pain. There was no blood but the face of the Suva Raina had been full of shards. It's features cracked and even in some places had been blown away. It had taken a blast to the face as it went to devour a chunk of stone getting a rather unexpected surprise as it thrashed there in obvious pain indicating that it had a nervous system of some kind.

It was a long wait, Nail was almost ready to pack it up befor she felt the tremors in the ground as she rolled back over to her benoculars in order to see it as the beast came lumbering into view as Nail finilly got a glimpse of the monster the lizard folk here where so afraid. Multi legged, large and armored to the teeth, it was truly a horrificly strong looking creature Nail tought as she shuttered at the thought of rushing at it in a straight fight, lucky for her she wasnt.

Nail watched the Suva Rain for some time as it lumbered to its usual feeding spot according to Ve'tah. Exactly where she planted a good ammount of explosives Farner supplyed her with befor coming to this planet and as it leaned into feed Nail watched as there was a deafening loud boom she heard even from her safe spot away as she watched the Suva Raina recoil back in pain, its crystaline body now shattered and blown open proving to her it infact felt pain and if it felt pain then it could in factbe killed.

"Got it!!"Nail shouted with victory as she looked on wtching her plan unfold, grinning as her plan went smoothly befor she looked away from a mere momment to grab the explosive detonator on her utility belt as she quickly hitt the switch to detonate three more explosives she laid around the Suva Rain's feeding ground. Explosive 2, 3 and 4 going off all at the same time around the monster in firey blast of razor sharp shards as Nail hoped it would be enough to either kill it outright or wound it enough for her to perform the finishing blow.

"Lets go!.. I think its wounded!.. Nows our chance!" Nail yelled to Ve'tah as she stude up quickly, holsteringthe detonater and grabbing her pack to sling over her sholder and quickly dashed out into the woods, drawing the dagger she crafted from the crystal in one hand and her typical plasma pistol in her other, head out to the city where the exposions went off, with luck it was already dead but odds where she had a fight on her hands.

A reign of explosions went off about the wounded saurian that thrashed and hissed in obvious pain. A leg had been blown off, it's tail all but gone and there were spider web cracks all along it's body as shards had been embedded into that stoney hide.

Had it possessed any sort of danger sense it may have known what was in store for it but as powerful as it was the Suva Raina possessed an animal-like intelligence, even if it's cunning had been fairly high.

It fell to it's side, growling out in pain. Ve'tah distracted at first by the beauty of the explosion that had taken out the creature though he snapped from his daze as Nail shouted.

As they game into view it pushed itself up, another leg snapping off and shattering. Wounded, it was fighting on sheer instinct it seemed, roaring out as it warned her as the Hel'Corian and the Sianga rapidly approached. It went to flick a tail at them, to swat at the threat then realized it had no tail when nothing happened.

It would have to use it's claws for most of it's teeth had been shattered. A slow swipe at the pair, it was evident that the creature was truly hurt and even that much errort caused it a good deal of effort.

Nail quickly ran up from her position to the Suva rain who apeared bady damaged. Seeing the creatures body wreaked afther the seciond explosion ripped threw its crystalized body resulting in a massive degree of dismemberment as body parts where simply braking away as thevrest of the creature stayed cracked and broken.

Litterly with out a leg to stand on te monster weakly stummbled to what limb it did have left as Nail approched, gun draw in one hand while the crystaline dagger in the other as her quick dash turned to a causious walk as Nail came closer keepig her pistol aimed at the beast who looked pissed at her sudden suprise attack.

"Whoa there!" Nail shouted as she quickly hopped back, seeing the monster trying to fling at her with its tail Nail could not help but attempted to dodge the monster afther seeing its sudden movement as she jumped back to be save but she her self was suprised to see that nothing happen too and pointed her pistol twords the beast who looked in intense pain as she tracked the monsters slow lumbering movments. " Missing somthing!" Nail shouted at the creature agin almost as if she where mockng it befor stepping in closer, quickly ducking beneath a swiping claw that lashed out at her with ease. With the monster hurt Nail had the upperhand in the fight as she easly dodged its claw befor quickly lunging forword to stab at the monsters shattered broken face with the dagger in her offhand as the thrill of the fight quickly excited her as the horns on her crown slowly grew longer.

It was quick, damn quick though she had been a hair quicker as she eluded it. If it had not been injured at all perhaps it would have been on the mark but it had not been as it attempted to stand and keep her at bay at the same time.

It's body cracked and broken, rage flowing through it as it fought on with all that it had. It had been fearless though, refusing to back off despite it's injuries. Pain lanced through it dissolving any amount of concentration to bring about the activation of it's psionic abilities though the thrill of combat had been overtaking Nail as she lunged forth with then dagger, chunks of stone crumbling away for it's features as it counter attacked but the claw missed as it hissed out once again in pain, it stomping the ground, spider web cracks appeared on one leg as a tremor raced through the ground knocking her prone as it then snapped it's jaws at her as it's head darted forward as those jaws snapped at her, most of the teeth in it's jaw had been shattered and while it had lost a step with the wounds though it was distracted from taking complete advantage of the situation as a spear hurl by Ve'Tah bounced off it's neck.

This gave Nail an opening in this ordeal as it's gaze swung to the Sianga warrior before returning to the individual that could actually hurt it.

The half blood lunged at the beast with the crystalized dagger she crafted out of the sharp gemstone as her attack connected chipping away more of the beasts features as the Suva raina hissed in pain.

"AUHHHRRR!!" Nail screaming out with a heated battle cry as she powerfuly ripped her dagger free from the monsters head only to bring down a strike at it agin but was taken off guard as she felt the ground shake beneath her feet while a wave of force felt as if it pushed her own knocking Nil to to ground. "Ehhuh!!" Nail grunted in pain as she landed on her backside, wincing in pain while the Suva Raina wasted little time in swiping at her with its crystalined claws. Lucky for Nail she managed to lay out flat on her back and barly dodge the monsters dadly claws as the limb sailed over her. Nail quicky sat up and tried to roll to her side but befor she could scramble to her feet the beast snapped out with its mighty jaws, seizing Nails left arm along with the dagger she held in its almost toothless mouth. "AURHH!! S-SHIT!! LET GOO!! ERRHH!" Nail yelled in pain as the teeth the beast still had cut shallowy into her left arm and sholder, her arm with in the beasts jaws as Nail slammed the but of her pistol into its cracked head in order to make it release befor she noticed a spar strike the beasts dense neck as the Suva rain shifted, pulling Nail like a rag doll as it looked twords Veh'tah who threw the spear.

"RUN!! R-RUN!!" Nail screamed at Veh'tah as she arched her body to look his way while her arm was trapped with in te Suva Rainas locked jaws as she took this oppertunity to put the barrle of her gun to the beasts head at point blank range and pull the trigger, emptying the clip unsure if this would even have a effect.

Ve'Tah dashed away disappearing behind a boulder as the two titans fought on, the Suva Raina getting a taste of her blood and while she had not been a psionic creature her mind had been touched by others and had a unique taste, not as good as an actual psionic creature but better than a Sianga warrior.

It's eyes went wide in the discovery of that fact as if it was going to have a special little treat. The gun only having minimal effect when she used it to smash against the crystalline hide of the creature as powerful was clamped down further on her arm as she emptied her clip … no effect, the hit scorched up in places given the closeness of it and just as it was about to shake it's head from side to side there were two things she notice, the first and perhaps the more useful was the shards sticking in the face of the Suva Raina that could possible be used. The second was Ve'Tah who had not actually fled but was hurling stones at it, stones that harmed the creature though marginally so.

It was enough though for the creature to roar out, as if it had forgotten that she had a weapon that could harm him. It was very stupid after all and there was this new threat trying to damage him causing him to roar out in pain and in effect dropping the former agent as it whirled on the diminutive warrior.

"ERRHH!! LET GO!! DAMN IT!!" Nail screamed cursing as she was jerked side to side as the monsters jaws clapped down further on her pinned arm as she hissed in a pain. Not doing any harmful damage the monsters bite still hurt like a bitch as its sharp teeth tore into her bicept afther she emptied her pistol into its crysalized skull resulting in little effect.

"LET GO!!" Nail yelled dugging back as she broght her free right arm up the one holding her trusty side arm to bring it back down on the Suva Rainas head a couple more times with the but of the gun. Hopng she would hurt it enough for it to release her befor it suddenly froze as its eye going wide as it got a good tasted of her blood.

It felt weird Nail thought as she tugged back, feeling what she assumed was a tounge washing her entire arm with nasty sticky grosseness befor she noticed small stones striking the beast head as she felt the monster jerk her around with its unmatchable strength as Nail looked twords Veh'tah just as suprised as the Suva Raina befor finilly it roared out in pain as more stones came flying.

Nail felt her left arm get released as she fell back onto the ground beneath the Suva Rainas face on her back. The sleeve to her suit in tattars as large bite holes tore open the camoflaged fabric while a trail of blood ran down her wounded arm as the faint sound of hissing could be heard from her excelirated healing tring to closer the bite wounds.

Nail quickly rolled to her side cring in pain as she held her wounded arm aftherdropping the pistol as the Suva Raina chaged targets looking twords Veh'Tah who threw rocks to harm it but Nail didnt let the beast go unpunished for not focusing on the more serious threat as Nail got a burst of adreniline as she quickly sat up still clushing the dagger in her off hand. "DONT LOOK AWAY FROM ME!!" Nail screamed asshe brought the dagger up sinking it deeply into its lower jaw that was currently above her as it whirled to dragging Nail with.

The thunderous battle went on and while the Suva Raina began this in dire straights it was holding it's own despite the fierce wound it suffered. If it were only smarter the thing may have been impossible to deal with though it's limited intelligence and short memory had been a blessing.

Chips of stone broke off it's already weakened body as the psychic stones had been hurled at him. Ve'Tah was not all that strong though it had seemed but the explosion the creature had been through weakened it against the stones that the warrior whipped at it.

Dropping Nail, Ve'Tah ran as the creature gave pursuit. Even wounded it was a lot quicker then Ve'Tah despite the head start that the Sianga had.

Nail's dagger found it's mark in it's jaw as it rushed forth dragging the agent along against the stony ground. It was hoping to dislodge her and as it tried it lost track of the warrior as he dashed from boulder to boulder causing the creature to slow down as it thrust it's head from side to side attempting to shake nail loose and the dagger as it roared out again in both pain and annoyance.

Ve'Tah appears again after a moment shouting to grab it's attention though his words are no taunt given that the creature couldn't understand it.

“SERRA BIONA LET GO!”

Again Ve'Tah whips a stone at the creature, this one clashing against his forehead braking away more stones and even driving a few shards deeper into it like a hammer coming down upon a nail.

The creature roared yet again ignoring Nail as it proceeded to charge the Sianga though this time the warrior was not running.
