Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
He smiled as she cleaned herself off, glistening droplets of salt water glistened off of her skin in the place of the cum that streaked her face and breasts. She looked fantastic and as she drew near pressing herself against him he had that desire to take her again, the poke of her nipples against him matched by the poke of his hardness against her belly though that stiffness had wilted some it returned to life a bit, that warm portion of him resting there as he took her lips again unable to completely resist.

“I'm glad that you have enjoyed yourself, Flame, though you will only be at the prison briefly before you depart for a small while. After you return you will only be there briefly.” He smiled at her then, a hand setting some auburn locks innocently behind her ears though as she drew away a bit he used the opportunity to cast a quick spell ensuring that his wings were perfectly dry before swatting her on the rump playfully. He scooped her up in his arms then flying her back to the balcony that they ha departed from.

When he gets her back to the balcony there is another enchantment he casts, an Abjuration that protects her from fire. After this he generates a pillar of flame to engulf her as a means of drying her off. The flames of course pass soon enough harmlessly though they leave her dry so that she can dress again without having to worry about getting her clothes all wet. He dresses too and soon escorts her to a new cell where Roc will be delivered into her company soon enough.

He departs with another kiss and soon enough a few goblins escort the dwarf into the cell and depart after locking him inside.

“Well, as refreshing as it is to be away from Gale for a bit I have the sneaking suspicion that something else is going on, do you know anything about this? If they were going to split us up though I guess it makes sense, Fire and Water together can cover areas that one another can't just as Earth can cover Air's deficiencies better.”

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
She let out an enticed moan as the angel smacked the supple flesh of her behind, unlike him she'd been caught up in a height of her own though there was little time to protest as their bodies connected and they returned to their hellish prison.

All too soon the two of them were forced to assume their proper roles, her angelic jailor guiding the smoking hot sorceress to another cell before leaving whereas Flame found herself trapped in a cage once again. These metal bars were confining despite the space and privacy they provided, her fingers streaking over their surface as she walked along the inside whilst her eyes scanned the hallway, but at least it gave her the chance to mull things over before Roc arrived.

By the time he was brought into the cell, she'd partially restored her hair to its former glory in hopes of guiding any of his thoughts away from what she and Nick were doing prior to their meeting here. She offered a brief smile though waited for his escort to tend to matters elsewhere before approaching the dwarf, nodding in response to the first part of his statement.

"I've been talking to our jailor and have come to an agreement which I'd like to discuss with you personally." Unfortunately Roc was right even though he didn't know of their plans, that her choice might not have been perfect concerning the various elements although she settled on him for the experience in battles he fought rather than seeking a balance between their respective elements.

"He gave me the chance to obtain the ring we're looking for by myself alongside another prisoner of my choosing, which is why you are here. I've chosen you to accompany me while Gale and Typhoon will remain behind until we've returned."

Flame considered for a moment, wondering how much information she should disclose right away. "The two of us have devised a plan that should allow us to get out of here with almost two days to spare for accomplishing our goal. Now .. I fully intend to let you in on all there is to know, but I'd like to hear any thoughts you might have thus far."

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Unlike Flame, Roc was not hindered by the bars or cramped spaces. Being that his element was Earth there was a degree of metal that he had often dealt with and all those underground passages seemed to be quite cramped.

So this head been nothing new for him. He doesn't bring up anything about she and Nicodemus not judging the human there and she had already said her piece on that issue so he already had an explanation there.

The tattooed dwarf regards the taller human as she gets to addressing his questions once the goblin guards are out of earshot.

“Good, you can clue me in,” he was patient though, like stone and would not rush her. He was far older than her after all and he felt the effects of the passage of time differently. In his experiences humans were a bit rash always rushing about though they clearly did not live as long and had to fit a few hundred years into a single century or so, give or take a few decades.

“Hm …. doesn't he need all four of us to get this ring, I'm only surmising here unless there is a different ring that I am unaware of. But it is an honor to be the first choice.

“While I imagine that I will agree to a plan that does not appear suicidal I will reserve that judgment until I hear the plan. Now is this freedom for just you and I or is there a chance to get the others out of this as well?”

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Flame pondered briefly on how to adress his concerns. Some things she knew and some she did not although lack of knowledge might meddle with their plans from the very start and doom their alternate path of escape, it certainly wouldn't help to conceal the truth at this point in time.

"He trusts that not more than two of us are needed to do so.", she began, wondering as to how believable her answers would be if she had to improvise though in this case it shouldn't be too far fetched. "At least that's what I'm told. Perhaps he simply refuses to let all of us go at once in fear of us attempting to escape then and there, or later on once we've left Carrion behind in which case he'd have no control over our environment or actions."

"Our freedom on the other hand .. I was expecting to return here and take the others along with us although the details haven't really occured to me yet. We'll most likely be brought before our jailor prior to leaving this place, so anything I can't answer now will hopefully be made clear then."

That was a thought, after all Nicodemus had to give her the device through which she could contact him upon retrieving the feather although she didn't truly know how that'd work either. She sat down idly on one of the bunks found here, trying to lower herself somewhat as to overcome their height difference. "Now to our plan."

"There is a portal on this Shadow that'll take us to the goblin Warrens in Llynoria, from where we'll be headed toward Brindel under guidance of a former chieftain by the name of Mog who is waiting for us on the other side. Throughout our travels we'll be magically disguised as goblins, imitating appearances and covering our scent as to keep a low profile for as long as we're there .. Our collars will also be removed."

"In Brindel we'll sneak off and seek the aid of another agent whose identity hasn't been disclosed to me, but since Mog knows I doubt there'll be much trouble on that front. From there we'll be brought almost straight to our final destination, a small coastal village that resides in Sirocco." By now everyone knew where she was from and while it seemed odd that they were headed there of all places, she hoped that it wouldn't cause him to object.

Then again their goal would seem odd in itself, that they weren't going after the ring the goblins held close but rather one farther away though it'd be simple to explain it through lack of knowledge on Nicodemus's behalf. "The location of the third ring neither dwarves nor goblins posess has been narrowed down to that region, most likely a cave near that settlement which is guarded by several monsters making it an ideal spot though what exactly they are has eluded me thus far."

"However we resolve the situation would be up to us, although we'd only have about one and a half days from now to obtain what we're after, including any research and supplies that may be necessary. After all, Tori won't hesitate long in coming here considering that all four of us have been captured and Nick alone can only stall her actions for so long."

The sorceress sat up straight, eyeing the dwarf carefully whilst being unable to cover up what little worry had been on her features. "Even though time is of the essence I'd have no qualms about elaborating certain points in greater detail as best I can, if you wish to know more that is."

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
“It's probably to use the other two as hostages in the hopes that we would not leave them behind. I get the impression that Gale would not be so squeamish about things such as loyalty to strangers.” Roc pondered this matter as he rubbed his chin, certainly all four of them working together would do better than two of them though getting to work with Gale could be a downright challenge he supposed given that Elves and Dwarfs did not often get along with one another and Gale thought she was too good for the rest of them.

Another matter to consider was that their magic may still be impeded and his hand to hand, he was guessing, was far better than the others as well.

He gazed at her as she repositioned herself on the bed and he chuckled. Oh, this was great, even on his Shadow of Brindel he had heard of the former goblin chief, not many survived into retirement though it was one of Mog's sons that bested him for the title of chieftain. Mog, being infirm by then had avoided death, he was no longer a threat to his son and the old goblin still had his uses as a political figure outside of the Warrens.

But magically transformed into goblins, escaping to Llyndoria then removing these collars and getting transferred to the Shadow of Brindel. He grinned at that though but he let her continue.

“There is no need to go into detail, I just wanted a general overview and while there are things that have yet to be defined the plan sounds as if we can actually pull it off. The timing will be tough to deal with, I prefer having more time to analyze things though contrary to belief I can move as swiftly as a land slide as need be. I just find it ironic that we have to disguise ourselves as goblins.”

Shortly after things have been explained to him they were taken to an audience hall, a few goblins her along with Nicodemus though he dismisses them all leaving them in the room with him.

“I trust that Flame has brought you up to speed?” And when Roc nodded he grinned at the dwarf. “Are you aboard?”

“Yes,” Roc answered and unless there were further questions he weaves the illusion over them of them being green skinned goblins and leads them through the prison where he gathers up other goblins and leads them to a chamber where a purple portal exists leading into the Goblin Warrens. As they arrive other goblins pass through, rotating the guard out perhaps?

An older goblin with a long white brain handle braid that flows to his waste scrutinizes the warriors closely, says something causing Roc to grab Flames arm and stepping back. The older goblin chuckles a little then points at them, says something again gesturing the volunteers to follow him as the other warriors file away. He leads the pair through dark passage ways, Flame's vision struggling in the occasional torch lit that flickers about. Goblins and dwarfs were able to see in the dark fairly well though the lit was here to make hiding and sneaking about a challenge.

He leads them to a modest bed chamber, furs piled up in one corner and a chest is here as well. “So, you are who the Angel has sent,” he crocks out.

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
"Very well." There was little else that needed to be discussed which cut any further dialogue between the two short, leaving them to wait until they were taken elsewhere.

Flame felt emotionally detached for the brief moments she and her companion spent before Nicodemus though not quite enough not to feel anything, partaking in the role she'd presented to the group rather than exchanging loving pleasantries as they did not long ago. Once her name came up she soon diverted her thoughts elsewhere as it became apparant that it concerned Roc and not her, mulling over the various courses of their journey and what it entailed to be found out by the earth elementalist.

As there were no questions on their part, they were soon enveloped by his illusion, a deception which seemed highly unlikely to be discovered as they walked alongside their jalior, passing by and picking up others goblins along the way that seemed to perceive of them as their own kind. The reason for this opportunity was the rotation of the guard of course, she recalled it faintly at the back of her mind though she'd been preoccupied with matters of a more urgent nature until recently.

It would've been nigh impossible to conceal any unease on her part at the first sight of the portal that'd take them to Llynoria despite her best efforts to act natural, Flame being one of the two who couldn't remember how she got here whilst also having dealt with the magical part of this realm to a lesser extent than Roc throughout a lifetime. She tried to mimic those around them in order not to arouse suspicion though at this stage there'd probably be little risk involved, her gaze focused on what laid ahead until they passed through its purple shimmer and although she yearned for one last glance of the angel, she refrained from looking back.

As soon as they were through, crimson eyes began to scan their surroundings for the one they were supposed to meet and swiftly settle upon the one of unquestionably venerable age, taking note of the shade and length of his braid that stood out clearly among the rest. It came as a surprise, however, as she is taken by the arm and forced to step back by the one she recognized as Roc, but she doesn't protest in the slightest as they distance themselves from the crowd, confident that they'd already found Mog.

To say that their trip made her uncomfortable would've been an understatement. Flame was caught up in a near constant state of adjusting her vision, her eyes naturally drawn to the flames only to be subjected to higher degrees of darkness as they drew away which made seeing anything quite difficult. In addition to her arising fear of the dark, no matter how mild, she couldn't wait to travel elsewhere.

They were taken to what appeared to be some sort of resting place, furs somewhat neatly arranged which indicated that someone used the chamber as his or her quarters. It was rather lackluster overall, but it measured up and beyond the grim walls of a prison cell quite nicely, not that she was truly concerned with looks at this point in time.

It struck her like lightning as Mog adressed Nicodemus by what he actually was, which thankfully gave her some room to play it off lest the dwarf would pick up on another deception he took part in, albeit unknowingly.

At the same time she wondered as to whether or not she should answer at all, which in itself had risen from the idea that Tori might suspect an attempt of escape on their part regardless of how futile it'd be or that they weren't standing before the goblin chieftain after all. Supposedly he looked younger than his actual age would indicate, but Flame couldn't tell since her knowledge on goblins was limited and asking Roc for advice right then and there seemed out of the question. She wasn't capable of their language either which certainly wasn't preferable if that was the case.

"I wouldn't exactly call the man an angel, considering where his loyalties lie.", she then spilled, putting emphasis on the first section of her statement whilst trailing off near the end as to somehow hint at the fact that Roc didn't know anything about it yet.

The red haired sorceress shook her head, tending to the matter in question. "But yes, he did send us." Her gaze trailed along his frame, taking in the physical appearance of their guide briefly. "If you know who we are, then you must be Mog."

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Roc had a few minor questions but nothing that needed to be clarified. He had only wished to know their general role and he calculated if they could succeed or not and while this course of action was risky the dwarf thought it was manageable at least.

He had no complaints about dying if the odds were good. Perhaps the others would not have agreed with that assessment so readily but Roc was the sort to crave battle when it came and accepted the dangers that it had entailed too. On the surface he seemed calm but when action was called for he grew a little eager, such as now. They were close to action, the illusion masked him and Flame though he was afraid that their scent would be too pleasant and the goblins would notice, yet the illusion that cloaked them was wonderful. It was a powerful one that emitted a false scent so that it would be harder to detect. Only interaction with them might discern differences such as hand shakes and such.

Roc did notice that Flame had been disguised as a male goblin, of course seeing that only the males were combatant that made sense though as they walked he came up with cover names for them if it ever came up. Goblins were not the brightest creatures on the whole so simple, on syllable names were best. “I am Rev, you are Sev, easy enough right?” They could be brothers for all that he cared they would address all that on the fly as needed, not that the goblins ought to ask too many questions.

He whispered this to her before they begun to take on more and more goblins, mostly green skinned ones though he had to keep his hatred of the vile creatures under check he did a good job at acting natural. Perhaps he realize the irony of the situation, that this was necessary or maybe it was the fact he knew that this was their best chance and so he did not mess that up.

The goblin warriors seem focused on what they are doing. All this seemed rather routine to them so none of them seemed to notice anything amiss though it was probably best that she did not steel a final glance at the Angel.

On the other side they lined up in formation, other goblins send through the portal to replace them though after that was done Mog asked for volunteers and noted the two goblins that showed intelligence by stepping back, in effect volunteering all the other goblins. Some of the smarter goblins saw this and stepped back too but Mog got the two that he had wanted, viewed them and realized he had not recognized them and separated them knowing that they were the ones.

Mog grinned. “I suppose not,” he casually looked to Roc then back at Flame. “I am Mog, a shadow of my former self but I was once chieftain here. That seems like a life time ago now though it has been no longer than a decade, an eternity amongst goblins.”
Seeing that the venerable age for a goblin was thirty and goblins matured by age six not many made it out of their twentieth year.

“But under the guise of supplying the Witch with additional troops in preparation four your arrival and the others shortly I can include you with the team going there to Brindel, where you will met with Spencer. He will remove the collars you both wear and will guide you to Sirocco. He will also give you a device to contact Nicodemus . I know not what challenges await you at the cave, perhaps Spencer knows but that is the gist of things. Troops will be dispatched in a few hours.”

“Won't we be missed?”

“Hardly. Two warriors among many. Slip away when it is convenient to do so, do not make it obvious. One of Zog's apprentice's will walk the Shadow from here to Brindel and Spencer, who will make contact with you at Brindel has knowledge of walking the Shadow, in this case he would only be transporting you from country to country but the technique is identical.

“You both can get some rest before then. Is there any questions or anything I could get you before hand?”

Roc looked at Flame. “A Dwarven Ale I imagine is out.”

“We have Elven wine from raids on the Elves.”

“I'll pass though a real weapon would be nice.”

“And your compatriot?” They both looked to Flame then.

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Despite the onrush of emotions and the turmoil her lust had thrown her inner thoughts into, Flame was receptive and aware that names were a good start should they be called out by some of the smarter individuals, though she hoped they wouldn't be needed. A simple nod declared her understanding as they moved along.

An immense weight was lifted off her shoulders when Mog seemed to realize her intent though she did her best to hide it as to leave Roc without a clue of what they'd meant. Then again the idea of their jailor being an angel would've appeared so far fetched, possibly none of the other prisoners would've believed any of it.

Her lips curled up into a brief smile as the dwarf passed up on the wine, almost as if it wasn't strong enough of a beverage for the sturdy warrior monk though perhaps he merely tended not to associate himself with the Elves even to that extent.

The thought of a weapon crossed her mind as well although Flame figured she wasn't much of a fighter in terms of brute force despite having tried to outmatch the goblins when she first arrived, an action for which she paid the price. If she ever got to wield more than a plain butter knife for one had been tucked away due to the nature of the spell concealing most of her memories, leaving her to guess.

She perked up when spoken to, an empty stomach reminding her that she hadn't eaten the meal Nicodemus offered but rather taken a liking to a particularly delectable drink of his. Naturally any kind of alcohol was out of the question, she knew that now, but surely Mog could arrange for simpler things.

"A light meal would be much appreciated, thank you .. and perhaps some water .. if it's not too much trouble, of course." The red head remained modest and reserved above all, she didn't want to be seen as much of a bother as Gale would for example, knowing fully well that either of the two newcomers owed the chieftain for simply being allowed to stay here and didn't feel as though she had the right to demand or ask for much.

"Ah, but I have questions.", she noted before he could depart or call for someone to bring the goods, assuming only some or none of those things would be found in the chest nearby.

"How long will it take us to reach Brindel once we've left the Warrens behind us?" After all time was of the essence and while a few hours of rest would come in handy, they weren't quite what the sorceress had in mind when she was planning on going through with their plan so any further delay could put their goal in jeopardy.

When she got her answer, she continued, "Regarding our journey to Brindel .. Is there anything to look out for when dealing with Zog's apprentice or can we expect the trip to be without any incidents if we just tag along?"

At last it came down to when they could leave the group, preferably without being discovered as they posessed little knowledge of their actual path. "When would be the ideal opportunity to break away from the crowd?"

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Mog displayed that he was a goblin of reasonable intelligence at least. He seemed to be cluey enough to pick up on what Flame was implying, quick to note that the dwarf had not been in the loop despite being trusted enough to be here now.

It was probably why he had been chieftain for so long. He was one of the smarter goblins or at least picked up on things far more quickly then most allowing him to make rapid recoveries. Few goblins where cagey enough to survive to such a venerable age and it was noteworthy that he had managed to do so.

“Human food,” Roc was quick to add though he was a bit hungry he would go without for the time being. A nice weapon was out of the question with goblins he thought. They were scavengers after all and did not craft their own weapons. While it could stand within reason that they had fine weapons of Dwarven or even as much as he hated to admit it, Elven make, these weapons were probably bestowed upon elite goblins and not rank and file members.

Mog nodded at the requests that had been made. “Of course. Human fare. I will see about weapons and food.

“It is no problem but you have questions. Good. I have answers.”

He waited until she finished her first. He may not have been aware of her deadline or perhaps he was though he took the first matter into consideration. “Walking the Shadows is a wizard thing that I do not fully understand. It can be done within a realm forming a short cut from one place to another or can be used to move from one reality to another. Going from her to Brindel for instance. The closer Shadows are together though the quicker moving between them is.

“The trip will take about an hour. Less time for Spencer to move between two points on the same Shadow but I do not know just how long this will be.”

Mog considered her question about the apprentice for a moment. There was no need to give it too much thought though. “There is nothing to worry about from him. He is smarter than most goblins but I am sure he is definitely not as intelligent as either of you two. He is not on our side though as long as nothing suspicious happens he probably won't note it. Braking away can be done any time really outside of his side of course. It is somewhat common for goblins to wander off unless under the orders of a strong commander which he isn't but you'd be best doing it before you arrive at your final destination though where the Witch herself is.”

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Flame nodded in appreciation of Roc who'd reminded her of the illusion concealing their natural form, contemplating what exactly they'd have served in place of whatever else they were going to bring her now considering there were numerous meals destined for common goblins she would've refrained from eating as she was merely driven by a slight appetite.

Adding his answers to her growing yet meager collective of knowledge, she came to the conclusion that they'd certainly arrive at their final destination at or before dusk, leaving them with an entire day if not more to uncover the secrets of the cave wherein the last divine fragment of Nicodemus' power would be found. Nightfall might impede their research initially if libraries and such, if they existed within the settlement, were closed down unless they chose to break in, but time would be plentiful enough that she considered simply seeking sources elsewhere until dawn in order to try again.

"Thank you for telling me, even though it may seem insignificant at first. Every little bit of information helps, especially now if it means less surprises along the way." Despite how lowly she thought of goblins as there were just two example she had to go on, she truly appreciated Mog's hospitality. Then again, what could he possibly owe their jailor that made him take the risk in bringing them here?

It'd be improper of her to ask which is why she let the matter drop. Of course one thing couldn't be ignored as he spoke, something she was convinced gave rise to a thought that must've occured to both elementalists at once.

Confronting the witch in the state they were in seemed downright suicidal, however, not with their collars intact and her memories gone considering that she was supposed to be the strongest of the four. It simply wasn't as viable as restoring the angel's power, or, as Roc thought, regain their freedom as well as access to their respective Shadow by claiming the third ring for themselves. Loyalty bound them to the other prisoners and the dwarf seemed less likely to abandon them than the others, even when they'd return to Brindel where he sought to return or so she thought, something Flame could only think of as a lucky move on her part.

However, with her thoughts in a seamless flurry, she'd missed out on one particular opportunity early on. "Do you, perchance, have a map of the region we're headed to? I'm afraid Nicodemus has forgotten to provide one and I've failed to remind him before we departed." Perhaps Spencer would be able to inform them or serve as a guide later on, but it didn't hurt to ask.

When they finished, the red haired sorceress bowed slightly in thanks, an act of mere courtesy on her part though she wasn't quite sure as to whether or not Mog was used to any of it. "That'll be all I need to know for now. Will we meet again in case either of us have any more questions?"

Her eyes swerved off to the side briefly, eyeing the furs though she figured some rest would do her good regardless of how luxurious their temporary quarters were. A few hours of time well spent considering their limited time here and then later in Sirocco it wouldn't be needed for she trusted they'd be able to stay on their feet all day afterward.

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Roc had realized that there were things that goblins would eat without thinking twice about. They lived in filth and had cast iron stomachs but his greatest concern was that she would be fed the flesh of a sentient creature as goblins were not squeamish about eating the flesh of sentient beings and it was this that he had been greatly concerned about.

What Nicodemus may have had over Mog was something that lame did not know of. Perhaps it resulted in the fact that Mog was venerable and did not have as much inclination to survive. He had lived his life clearly, though to risk it he had to owe something of great importance to the Angel. It had stemmed back a few years ago.

As infirm as he had been hiss son needed a little convincing to spare his life, thinking more like a goblin he would have done away with his father if Nicodemus had not pointed out the very fact that his father still possessed wisdom that he could impart to a younger generation, after all he had reigned the Rune Carvers tribe for a good deal of time.

“It is best to be prepared. Many goblins may not think that far a head but you are welcome for the information. A lot of the prep was thrown together last minute so there are details that I do not quite understand and cannot fully detail.”

“Still, you have been far more useful than I would have given a goblin credit for in this endeavor,” Roc added to which Mog nodded. Really, these things were not really thought of by the goblin though that was probably why he was such a great chieftain when he was chieftain that was.

“Sadly, I do not. It is another Shadow and while I have maps of this one I haven't had the need to have one of that land. Spencer will have one though or at the very least can serve as a guide.” Mog explained the matter. Roc nodded, not really expecting the goblin to have a map but still the fact that Spencer was becoming more and more indispensable had been something that did not go unnoticed by the dwarf. With a name such as Spencer too he could assume that their contact was no goblin either and had wondered how they would find him though it was just as likely that he would find them.

“How do we make contact? If we miss meeting Spencer ...”

“Trust me. He will find you.” That was rich, trust a goblin but Roc said nothing as he mulled the matter over. Still, it wasn't as if he had much of a choice here and there were easier ways for Nicodemus to fuck with him so he'd play along for now.

It had been a long time since another bowed to him and he recalled all those years back as a grin cracked his features. “Yes, we shall meet again. I will return with the weapon and food.”

True to his word he returns with some food though the meat had to have been from some animal, boar, dear or bear most likely. He had some sturdy spears though nothing fantastic and turned over a silver enchanted dagger to the dwarf.

“Hide this upon you. I want this back, dwarf,” to which Roc nodded as he accepted the wrapped up blade.

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
At least to Flame matters weren't quite as unsettling, their contacts were handpicked by Nicodemus and even if they were merely considered at the last possible moment when nobody else was available, she trusted that he'd not let them be guided by someone he didn't trust.

Perhaps she was wrong to believe that it'd be simple for she was led by the feelings she had for him, perhaps incredibly naive though torture and imprisonment followed by an untimely death whilst contributing to the witch's evil deeds were more than enough to drive her in this quest they were on. Escape was always an option, remove the collars back at the prison and flee with the others though she was the only one with no recollection of the past and therefore was the only one in need of assistance in that regard. Flame had nowhere to go and even if one of the others had mercy on her and took her in, it'd be bothersome to indulge in several years of study to reach the state her magical capabilities were in before she was taken to that prison.

That and any memories she could've gotten back while ridding the world of a prime evil and setting an angel free from her reign, all that seemed to be far more of an achievement than being a coward, albeit a smart one for staying alive if things didn't end well here.

When Mog departed she wasted little time in preparing the furs nearby, somewhat neatly arranging two piles laid out on the ground as to allow the two of them to rest and despite the fact that she was taller than the dwarf beneath their illusion, they were split equally. He was less likely to make use of it regardless, she thought, Roc amongst goblins he might meditate but not sleep and in the end it was only Flame who truly required rest after the intense workout she'd been through with her angelic lover that day.

Soon Mog returned, a waft of what they'd be served upon her then as she turned to face him.
It wasn't comparable to the exquisite cuisine of their jailor, but at the very least it was substantial and cooked which hadn't deterred the sorceress any though eating with her fingers might've done it just a bit.

Crimson eyes fell on the spears, even she could work with those to an extent and their added reach would only benefit the pair if they ever had to go up against someone lacking in that regard. Due to their simplicity she was convinced that they wouldn't draw any attention during their travels, another plus one had to consider when Mog brought forth a finer weapon, a dagger which he'd offered the dwarf prior to telling him to conceal it.

Perhaps the time was better spent with practice after all, her skills were negligible at best and as long as their magic was impaired it'd be all they had to defend themselves.

"Thank you, for everything.", she spoke softly, awaiting his reply if there were any before indulging in the meal at her disposal. Her risks were quite apparant and while nobody could fare worse than death itself, they all had something to lose when partaking in all this.

“You are welcome,” Mog stated though the dwarf was eying him suspiciously. “It's boar.”
After that Roc seemed to relax somewhat not wishing to find out that Flame had been consuming human or some other sentient beast.

He left them alone to rest though after seeing to any other needs that might come up though Roc was probably better without a weapon though he had to keep up the illusion of being a goblin. He would assist Flame in running through the basics with the weapon if she desired.

Mog comes to fetch them when the goblins are getting ready to move out and there are no complications so far. The apprentice moves a few dozen goblins through the Shadow. Before them the landscape kept changing as if the apprentice was constructing it with his mind.

The land before them transformed slowly as a passage opened between Llynoria and Brindel. They were in neither one but in both, the twilight between the realms as they moved from one to the next coming out eventually in Brindel, the goblins moving onward though they were a disorganized bunch in irregular formation.

They moved on, Roc slowly drifting to the rear of the goblins with Flame at his side. He scanned around seeing that they were in a forest somewhere at first. He tried to piece together where thy were from landmarks but saw none so he had to make a few educated guess as to what lands would make sense.

They were not in Gladriel, it was too cold in that arctic land. Sirocco was barren and rocky for the most part and in any case there were no forests there and Gaist was quite stormy and windy so that was ruled out. They were either in Tavaar, Urik or Brindel itself.

So he narrowed it down by half. As he was thinking this he did not hear the being behind them as a hand slaps down on Flame's shoulder. Someone speaking goblin, causing Roc to stop in stride with Flame, they had not rehearsed this part if she were addressed in goblin and if he were to answer then the gig would be up so it was up to Flame as to how they were going to handle this one. He would follow her lead here not too worried about a single goblin.

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
Time dragged on at an agonizingly slow pace once they were left alone. Flame tried to lay back and get some rest for the few hours they were given, her heart pounding against her chest from time to time coupled with a stream of thoughts that allowed the mind to wander, hoping that nothing would go wrong whilst getting sidetracked every now and then, vividly picturing obscene scenarios of their capture and inevitable imprisonment resulting in their execution or worse, an abysmal existence going hand in hand with torture far beyond the realms of what she'd experienced thus far.

She got lucky, eventually falling asleep for a little while, but not for long seeing how her dreams were of an equally uneasy nature of what Tori or any of her subordinates would do to her and Roc once they were found out. Too many unknown variables were ever present in the equation of their undertaking and the sorceress was far too troubled with recent events to put viable pieces together or connect the dots although she managed to avoid thinking about the latter for as long as her focus was guided elsewhere.

In the end she had to yield to these pressing matters, abandoning the plain furs that made up her sleeping place as she approached Roc and asked him for advice and gain first hand experience on handling the spears provided by Mog. It probably wouldn't make much of a difference in a real fight, but it was refreshingly reassuring to be prepared for confrontation.

They were gathered along with the rest of the group that was supposed to traverse the Shadows, a spear firmly within her hands though these times were the most preferable. They didn't require much effort on her part and didn't leave a lot of room for error although Flame made sure to stick close to Roc, occasionally stealing subtle glances at the goblin image he'd been engulfed in whenever she felt as though none of the others were watching. Thankfully they weren't a disciplined military unit, allowing the pair to gradually disembark into a small compartment of their own.

Nothing turned out to be quite the way she'd imagined it, walking the passage between realms for one as it were she couldn't explain how it was in any way possible, but then again she wasn't the only one considering Mog had expressed his lack of knowledge back in the Warrens.

However, their arrival in a lush forest left a bitter taste in her mouth. Sirocco, as outlined by her chosen element might've come close to a near barren wasteland or desert, yet Brindel on the other hand was as unknown to her as the circumstances involving her capture, leaving her to guess as to whether or not they'd arrived at their destination.

Flame casted a perplexed glance toward Roc but kept her mouth shut as they moved on, gradually putting distance between themselves and the rest as she followed his lead without question for the time being.

And then it happened within the blink of an eye, a careless mistake in the analysis of the environment as a touch settled upon her shoulder and stopped the concealed prisoners dead in their tracks.

Immediately her heart rate began to spike as she registered words she couldn't possibly give any meaning to, her cheeks growing warmer at the slightest thought of discovery though she hoped the illusion would make up for it. She was convinced there hadn't been anyone left at the rear end of the pack except them and while she was counting on the help of her companion, it never came.

One had to devise a plan swiftly and it was improvisation she lacked in that regard. The torture chamber came to mind, the two goblins that brought their captive there though their brief dialogue would most likely not be of much use even if she managed to piece it together from several odds and ends. Their attitude in general was alien to her although the red head considered feigning a drunken state momentarily, disregarding that thought right away in case there were any more inquiries for she had yet to answer the first one.

Spencer was supposed to find them and not the other way around, but checking up on every group of goblins until he happened to stumble upon the right ones, speaking their native tongue no less as to not arouse suspicion himself, would make it a nigh impossible task to accomplish. What if it was him and not just another goblin and responding in the tongue they all knew would give their true identities away to him?

Time was ticking away at a steady rate and it was then Flame reached a conclusion, more of a gamble really, that she had no choice but to respond violently to whatever snuck up on them. To perform a scene that rendered her unresponsive, she would've had to know what a goblin in her place would do and until then she wasn't even sure what a regular one of their kind would deem normal in terms of behaviour, no matter their intelligence. They were alone from what she could gather, so if they were quick they might be able to deal with him quietly.

She prepared to deliver a blow through one of her elbows, swiftly bringing it back against him as to knock the air out of his lungs in order to silence the newcomer for a few moments before taking any further action. Perhaps they could play it off in the event of it not being Nicodemus's agent, someone sneaking up on another being things tend to get out of hand sometimes though the odds were there and a valid excuse though it did nothing about the language barrier to convey that sentiment.

Post Re: The Fallen (for Ryu)
There she was at the crossroads of so many decisions. She, Roc and this Goblin were the only three around though she could have sworn that both she and Roc had managed to drift to the rear. The bulk of the Goblins were green skinned, a tribe tended to be all one color but the Rune Carvers, who had been a green color had a perchance of conquering other tribes that had been various colors as based on the terrain of their respective clans before they were essentially enslaved.

This Goblin was red skinned and thus from the mountainous regions of Northern Llyndoria. He also had bright orange eyes that shown with an intelligence that most goblins lacked. He had been aware of the elbow that came his way as if he was expecting something.

Roc was lethal unarmed though. He was trained for close quarters combat and while in an instant he would have sprang forth to follow her lead in attacking the goblin leaped back with incredible grace.

He landed in a crouch about thirty feet back from where he started indicating that he had some sort of magical device that allowed him to evade her blows and get out of Roc's immediate area that he threatened.

With a fluid motion he drew a dagger and it became three, one between each of his fingers indicating that it was a magical blade, that was obvious and the full mouth of the Goblin grinned showing rows of teeth similar to a shark's jaw.

He did not call for help, confident that he could deal with two unruly Goblins. He repeated what he said as he watched the pair with those orange eyes. To which Roc responded in turn, the two speaking back and forth , the red skinned Goblin chortling and reverted to using a language they all could understand though his had been heavily accented.

“You two are the agents Nicodemus has sent? I am the one known as Spencer and will be taking you the remainder of the way.”
