"we might be able to get what we both want then and more as their was this document i had not sure if it is here or not but it said that, the ornament if returned home would give the person or people who returned it 1 wish each, but i can't find the document now" he say's in frustration, he turns to her and he rub's his eye's and sits down, wondering what they should do now.

“Return it?” It was her task to get the artifact and while this could be some fancy mumbo jumbo about the device Mercer wanted it so there could be some truth about it. Mercer expected her in a few days, he did not know that her connections were so good this time around so doing a little research wouldn't hurt.

“One wish?” The artifact enhanced and controlled luck she had found though her ship's computers only had the basics on it. She would wish for her sister's freedom of course, or maybe Mercer's death at such and such time sweeping in to rescue her sister amidst the confusion.

“OK, it's worth a shot though I don't believe in it there has to be a reason why our bosses wanted it.”

"Who wouldn't want it, think of the money and power they could have it would shape their lives for the better." he laugh's at understanding why his boss had sent him in the first place, he had wanted to use it to get power not to resell it, it would seem that his boss had other uses for it beside's selling it to whoever he was going to give it to.

"Do not worry i won't lose the object and as i got plenty of room, do you want to sleep in one of the spare room's." he asked her as he knew that she had landed just to collect the statue and he wanted to help her out till the job is over and they were free and long gone from their bosses.

She considers that, yes, if the rumors were true then the artifact was far more valuable then initial thought especially if the rumors he pulled up were true. They probably weren't but she wasn't certain and with the time to kill if this would assist Serena then so be it.

It meant that this was worth looking into. Balard even pitch her an offer to stay here for the evening. It would be convenient, she was just going to stay on her ship seeing that she had tossed out some money for bribes she was looking to conserve a little cash but the comforts of a room had been appealing too. She was well off but frugal most of the time anyway.

“Yes, I think I'll take you up on that offer,” at the back of her mind she recalled how he had been looking at her earlier, how he mentioned that he could give away the artifact, she did not know the truth behind this rumor that he had obtained or if he had been lying about it to manipulate the situation.

Perhaps he would even make a pitch during the night for the artifact, taking her under duress though that would not be too bad she considered given what she already had to do to get to this point. There were several variables here and her only choice had to be to see them through to their conclusion.

He was surprised that she had accepted and even though he was telling the truth he wanted to get to know her more and he showed her around the room's "it is fairly standard room's, it has pretty much everything and multiple of it so don't worry about running out of stuff, i am going to take a shower, so make yourself comfortable" he locked up the statue and went into the bathroom, he stripped off completely and jumped in to the shower.

After 20 minute's he finished in the shower and started to dry off and he wrapped a towel around himself as water droplets were still on his chest and back, he opened the bathroom door and walked out.

She nods, accepting what he had said and while he locks up the statue she had entertained the thought of stealing it once more though things had been going well so far so she would see where they lead her.

When he comes out of the shower she's holding a half finished drink and standing before a painting her, studying it as if she were some sort of art connoisseur though she wasn't of course.

Scorch glances to him as she hears to sound of movement, not surprised to see him adorned in just a towel. She says nothing about it, half expecting something like that anyway as she looks back to the painting.

“I wouldn't be surprised if I acquired this as a pirate and later sold.”

"Ah, that one, it was stolen during the civil war this planet went through decade's ago, not many have laid eye's on it though they would be pretty stupid to try" He chuckle's and he move's closer to her, he stand's a bit behind her and to the right and he examine's the painting as-well "it is one of my favorite's in art, though my best is the armor in the corner" he wave's his hand over and point's to it the armor was pitch black and dark looking he tell's her part of it's history "it was worn by a old emperor who used to adorn it and go into battle, it terrified all his opponent's and not many lasted under his rule as he crushed them" he look's around and smile's at all the stuff that was acquired over time and how rare and unique it is.

It's a treasure trove of artifacts that she had thought were the hotel's but have been attributed to his own collection. The painting looks familiar though isn't the one that she thought that it might have been.

She looks to the armor as he explains a bit about it. “So you are a collector? I have some art and relics of my own though nothing as rare save for the family sword that's like an heirloom.” She regards the armor worn by the Emperor, a rare find indeed.

“That must have cost you a fortune.”

"I like to collect a lot of thing's some have cost a arm and a leg to obtain other's were traded to me by sleeping with them, though it is rare they would ask for that type of payment" He smile's and continues to show her around the room and all the other collectible's.

He look's around the room and glance's at her "their isn't much, but most of it is valuable and under tight security" he chuckle's thinking of the last time someone had broken in and tried to steal one of his more rare gem's and artifact's.

Sleeping with? She had noted that and while she had not come her with that aim in mind if that was what it took … Scorch had not been a lesbian, though later on meeting Krisna would change her mind there though the men she dealt with there was often little more than a primal need that the two shared briefly.

But if she had to exchange a service for the artifact and there was nothing concrete about returning the device then she would do it, after all she had done far worse already, memories of that ooze coming to mind.

“I could only imagine that security on them would be tight. I, however, am not interested in owning those pieces or even the artifact I was sent for but Mercer sent me to retrieve it so I must retrieve it. Of course he's probably thinking that it will take me a little time to find it during which I think it is an idea to look into this rumor.

“I will exchange whatever I must to get it if it is my power to give for my employer is an unusual one … I am not getting paid for it's recovery, not in money or other riches.”

He watch's her and chuckle's "you don't need to sleep with me for the statue, though i wouldn't object from someone sexy like you" He say's as he start's turning on the alarms on the object's for the night, he turns to her and say's "I feel like you have a better cause in having this so it is your's anyway" he shrug's as he isn't fussed at handing it away to her.

“I'm sorry if I seemed alarmed there, it was just unusual to her,” she explains at her response. He was going to give this to her? A portion of her did not believe it, that he was playing some sort of game especially when he could get so much for the artifact and that she would have gone through with sleeping with him for the sake of her sister.

But she was too use to dealing with Mercer that ass so she was always a bit suspicious in her dealings, especially when it came to men.

“You know, you're not half bad,” she looks over her shoulder at him and while she hasn't given up on the fact that this could be a rouse to lower her guard some she also considers the artifact, the dangers that could be present in returning it or an ambush at said planet perhaps to capture her and place her in slavery. She doubted that Mercer would care much and the only reason that she had not been in chains so far was due to the fact that she was good at what she did and as long as he had Serena he knew he could coerce her into doing things whether it be fighting in the arena or retrieving things.

“You've shown me around the place. How about you show me that bedroom of yours?” She had been rather direct here and while she had not quite worked out the situation it did not hurt to have her on his good side.

"Right this way" He chuckle's and leads her to the bedroom, he open's the door and turn's on the light and it reveals a big bed that could fit four people, the sheets were smooth and cool for all type's of weather, he also shows her the en-suite bathroom and toilet in case she needs it, he kick's his shoe's off and lay's on the bed and watch's her as she look's around "hope you like it" he say's as he lay's there.

She uses the rest room to freshen up a bit, washing her face and returning to the bedroom finding that he had been relaxed. It was a large bed, and of course it had been Mercer that had been pushing her into this but that was alright.

In a senses she did not mind so much, especially given that this had not been with an amorphous creature of sorts. She returns, eying the large bed.

“Impressive,” she did not have a bed so large at her home and she had been living in luxury given that she was a modest pirate captain before she retired. The bed she nodded at as she looked him over with her blue eyes.

“Yes, I like it,” she returns as she kneels on the bed beside him. “Oops ...”

She opens up the front of his towel boldly seizing that impressive length as she rubs it back and forth in her grasp before bending down, her lips caressing the very tip of that length of his with her tongue and lips as she barely allows him to pass the seal of her lips.

He watched as she got on the bed next to him and knelt down, as she removed his towel and grabbed his length he gave out a tiny moan of pleasure and as she teased him with her tongue and lips he moaned some more "Mmmmm" he continued to watch her as he got harder, he ran his hand through her hair gently and slowly.
