"Though i would like to stay like this" he joked "I think we should press on and get this statue on to the ships, i think your's would be much quicker to get us to the planet" he say's as they finished up in the shower and began to get changed into something good, as he finished getting changed he would make his way over to the statue and wrapped it in a cloth before carrying it to a metal case and locking it inside, he stood waiting for scorch and it wasn't long before she finished getting ready.

Her ship was a freighter, old but quick and maneuverable for the most part. She had to go back to change so she nods, quickly finishes her shower and dresses in the same clothes from the night before. She was armed with a plasma pistol and sheath for her knife that she carried.

Getting g a cab to the space port she show off her ship to him, it could be operated with an optional co-pilot, R-92 served in that capacity and there were enough bunks for four passengers. She had 92 give him the tour while she disappears to her room, gets some fresh clothes and goes to the bathroom to change into similar clothes that are dark blue in color with the long white trench coat over it.

Once that is done she looks up the planet of origin for the artifact … Meso … a hostile place from what she reads at the edge of the galaxy.

Modifications to the ship made it quick and so they could be there in a few hours. “Do you have need of a weapon, it says here that the planet Meso can be hostile.” She had several weapons in the secret compartment of the ship.

After addressing that issue there had been another matter to see to. “Quarters … I'll give you your pick and we can store your things. Is there anything you can think of that is needed before we depart?”

He conjured his sword out of nowhere it was a dark blade with red lines over it, it was also jagged, he sheathed it and shifted his clothing into the Armor that was on display that he had shown scorch earlier "i am ready when you are, we just need to find a clearing close to the statues owner further out and we risk being attacked" he said with a seriousness in his voice, he knew that Meso was dangerous and he had a very old enemy there that he did not want to encounter "if you see a Toraga of any sort run, i have had bad dealings with their leader".

He stored all his non-essentials in his bunker and he turned back to scorch "i don't think we need anything at time being, though if we have to we can grab supplies on the planet" he say's to her as he looked out one of the windows into the spaceport they were about to leave.

“Got it,” she confirmed before requesting permission to leave from flight control. Once that had been granted she punched in the coordinates to Meso and brought them under way though she had wondered if the armor Balard wore now had been the Emperor's armor from earlier or a replica of it.

His use of it indicated that the Toraga were primitive but they had to have some sort of edge that she did not know about or maybe the armor worked to diffuse energy attacks as well. She did not know but as was often the case she was going to travel light here.

When they set down it was at a river about 3 klicks from their destination as the jungle had been sparse in lading areas. They could have made one with the ship;s guns if they wished to alert everyone down on the planet.

She tried to pull up information about the Toraga but there was little there. To be on the safe side once they departed 92 would bring the ship up to gyro syncrinal orbit of the planet and would return to pick them up when Scorch contacted him.

"Alright, I guess we set off now.” Unless there had been anything further she hit the button to open the door that let them ascend the landing ramp out to the planet.

He looked around at the planet that they had landed on and he drew his sword and began cutting away any of the thick vines and bush's that were in the way of their path he said to scorch "try not to to get tangled in a vine you never know if it is a live one" he jokes a little trying to lighten the situation they were in as it was going to be a long walk.

“Smart ass, there's all alive.” She knew what he meant of course, she had heard of those semi-sentient and even sentient creatures comprising of the plant kingdom. There were even many that she had heard about that well, preferred certain foods gathered by females.

A lot of those plants produced aphrodisiacs but Scorch didn't seem to be frightened. Rather she simply accepted this as a way of life though she had not encountered any plant based life forms herself.

She did note though that using her powers here in the jungle was probably going to go badly so she had to rely on her plasma pistol.

“Tell me about the Toraga. There wasn't much info about them in the database.”

"The Toraga are like Trolls but they are smaller they prefer to capture and force their captives into slavery and literally anything they want some are taken to the mines mainly the men though some of the female trolls who are high in power prefer to have males the women i do not know much about some are never seen again" he say's to her as he was speaking one of the plants shot out at him and he cleaved it straight down the middle and he cringed as he was covered in some weird substance he had not come across before it's smell was like a honey but stronger.

"that's disgusting" he say's as he grabs a few leaves and uses them to clean up what ever it was that coated his skin and he decided he did not like this planet at all and that the quicker they were gone from here the better it was for him and scorch.

“I guess you weren't lying about those plants,” she draws her gun to have it at the ready as she watches the plants more carefully. The scent of that honey-like substance coating the insides of her nostrils, a pleasant aroma which calls to her.

She shivers a little feeling rather warm between the thighs and she realizes that it is indeed some sort of aphrodisiac but she is able to toss off the effects, there had not been a concentrated dose of it, it may have been ingested though the scent did have a mild effect though.

“Pygmy trolls, fantastic,” she was a little more than sarcastic at that last bit. They continued on for a bit, in addition to watching the planets she has to look out for the Toraga as well but if this helped out Serena, if even it were a long shot, she would risk it.

“Did the documents say were we had to bring the artifact? To a certain people or a place? I doubt that we could just leave it anywhere and go if we are to get the benefits.”

"the only thing it said was to take it to where the statue grows, only thing i can think of is a bigger version of this one" he continues to hack and slash at the plants some lunging at him and when he cut the plants he was partially covered in some of the plants substance the smell getting to him but arousing him to a unbelievable level but he shrugged it off and they made their way further in to the forest it got darker with every 15 minutes that past.

“Statue grows …” Scorch thinks on this a little taking shots with her plasma pistol whenever she got the movements of the plants but given that she was being careful not to shoot him there were still many that he had to deal with himself.

That smell though had been so pleasant and while it was getting to her an answer for that riddle came to mind.

“An island with a volcano maybe. As it erupts the land gradually grows larger. Maybe finding an island with a statue on it and a volcano will narrow – EHHH!”

Darkness assists the plants as one that coiled away from them waited for them to pass before attacking yet again. This one was smarter then the others, more cunning at least. And while it grabs Balard and Scorch's attention another launches an attack from in front of them.

Quickly vines jerk the former pirate from her feet and another, aware that the gun was a weapon, restrains that arm as it begins taring at her clothes to get at her succulent flesh beneath not caring as it tore the fabric away in search of one of her holes, any holes as another vine heads towards her lips.

Balard has it a little easier, the plants can't draw nutrients from him but seem aware that they have to restrain him at least to thwart him from assisting the other so one attempts to do that, waiting it's turn for Scorch's nubile body.

There strategy was rudimentary but showed that they were smarter than the other plants that they had dealt with thus far.

he felt restrained and he struggled to move against the plants as they grappled him to hold him still, he watched as they vines started to tear away Scorch's clothing and they were searching for places to enter her one headed immediately for her lips, Balard growled at the plants and managed to get a hand away before being restrained and dragged to the floor while being pinned down so he could not move at all but the tentacles adjusted his head to Scorch so he could see what was going on.

“NOOO -” She struggled uselessly, the sound cut off as a vine was thrust between her lips, the gooey honey-like aphrodisiac squirting inside her there as it oozed into her belly against the struggling woman but it was pointless.
