It opens and nearby they can hear individuals gathered beyond one of the doors were there is some sort of commotion …

A carpet leads to the door which is flanked by a brazier each side.

“They were captured while hunting in your forest. Punishment in death, shall I dispatch them to the cavern?”

“Yes, yes, deal with them ...” another voice states with a pompous air though it sounds like a young man.

Lily ascended the stairs with Izumi. When they got to the top, she could hear voices on the other side of the door. She put her ear to the cold metal, listening to the conversation. "Must be the guy who put us here," Lily said. "And someone else."

Izumi listens and nods to lily.

“It sounds like it ...” she announces as she searches her mind in conversation. “You think there are with prisoners?”

She tries to get a better feel of what is going on on the other side of that door.

From the sounds of it as the pair strains to hear what is going on there are two distinct voices in the other side of that door.

There were at least four people on the other side of the door, prisoners so two at least, the man that captured them. He used no tittles when addressing the young man but he was probably a King or Prince saying that it was his forest that these prisoners were captured.

They could infer that there were other guards her though the corridor continued to twist around the corridor. They could check this out, perhaps go invisible even or continue to look around too.

"I have an idea. We can try to sneak in there and find a way out of this place," Lily suggested. "If you can make us invisible, we could do it."

This is a dream totally unlike the real world given the access she had to fire magic. It seemed that it was mind over matter here as she moves to the door and concentrates as she grasps Lily's hand attempting to turn them invisible.

If that was successful then she would try to phase them so that they could pass through the door itself without the need of opening it.

Izumi is able to make the pair invisible and with a bit of effort the two pass through the doors where they see a young man in his early 20's equipped with regalia and robes, some sort of Prince with two burly guards with halberds at a base of a dais.

Two bond men are kneeling before the Prince with perhaps a half dozen guards though only two of the six had a leather jerkins.

There is another door opposite them. The room is odd with doors at the lower East and Western portions of the room rather than at the Southern mot portion of the room across from the throne though the doors are near the bottom of the room.

So nine people and two prisoners in total.

Even in a dream there was no way Lily could take them all down. At least not without the terrifying aura that her Aegis gave off, but she didn't have it with her, only her sword. Then again, this was a dream, so if she needed to, she could change everything she had equipped. But she would keep her leather armor until they were noticed.

Izumi remains quite as there are a lot of individuals. She studies them as she looks for signs of weakness in them and running over the spells in her mind that will help out the best given these circumstances. By herself she was confident in being able to take out half of them but if she invoked a huge blast then she would incinerate the prisoners too and that was not her aim.

She sighed and shook her head, searching for answers as she searched to make sure that they had not missed anything.

While Izumi looks, she does spy a hidden person at the back of the room with dark gray robes, probably a spell caster of some sort but the girls are in luck as the fate of the prisoners is discussed they are lead out of the chamber by the Hodge Podge of men present out the door opposite them. One thing they were to decide now was which group did they go after or did they seek escape. There were four people here now, the Prince and his two guards plus the wizard who now comes out into view.

Or did they follow the six men that had seemed to be a random assortment of guards, no militia maybe for they were a variety of things.
