Lily stopped in her trscks half-way through his explanation. "Wait, you're a king?!?!"

Izumi was surprised as well, her blue eyes widen as she looks at the older man. He seemed younger than he was or perhaps he just gave off that impression. They were walking a good distance and he wasn't slowing them down any.

Still she watched on distracted from Cyril to this revelation.

Emir nods. “I was King of these lands though my daughter now rules. My wife and her husband passed from the plague that ravished our lands a few years back leaving her and her son alive. Her son acted funny around the same time and was cursed a short time thereafter but as bad as the young man gets his mother can't bring herself to kill him.

“I wish to hire you two, you seem competent enough and might be able to rescue the priest who can perform the exorcism to drive the evil spirit from his body. Can I count on the two of you?"

So much for ending this story, Lily thought. She looked at Izumi for any indication to her thoughts on this request.

It seemed as if Aegir wasn't done having his fun but if this protected her from physically attack … she caught Lily's attention. “I, well I guess we can help right Lily?” She answers not really sure what they should do here.

The King seemed pleased as Izumi answered. He then looked towards Lily. “Well, what do you say? Name your price; money, titles … if we are successful in expunging a demon we will have the wealth of a nation to draw upon but before you answer I must warn you that everyone who has gone after the priest has died without exception.”

Lily smiled. "Well a little adventure is always worth the risk," she said. "I'd rather be up here than in that horrible dungeon. Sure, we'll accept this quest."

“So, we just get this priest? From where? From what?” She gathers as many details as possible though the prospect of the reward is nice it is unnecessary. She preferred not to be abused though with Lily here as well matters hadn't been too bad.

“Ah, yes, he was taken prisoner by the Prince and moved to the North at a tower we now call the Demon's Gate. He's protected by other Demons lead by a vicious spell caster but there is a secret way in, a passage though it bypasses the obstacles It is safe to assume it has been compromise with the failures but there is a well, an underground river passes beneath there and if you have access to water breathing magic you could ascend the well and sneak both ind out that way.”

Curtsey of Aegir Izumi would find that she knew such magi.

"Any idea what kind of demons they are?" Lily asked.

"Sounds... very bad," Lily said, trying not to show fear. After all, it was just a dream, what did she have to fear?

“But we can do it!” Izumi had gang bangs with Demonic hordes dancing through her had she hoped not and had hoped that Aegir had a pretty good working relationship with Lilly.

She had to remind herself that this wasn't real. She searched her head for anything they would need or any vulnerabilities that they could exploit.

Demons were known for betrayal and being rather chaotic and disorganized so that could be used against them. A map to the Demon's Gate and perhaps the surrounding area, horses, enchanted or silver weapons, these were just some of the things that occurred to Izumi.

Lily might benefit from something that made her more maneuverable since Demons could Teleport all over, there were a few spells that could counter this though one stopped Teleporting in and out of an area the other stopped a creature from using such magic or abilities.

Izumi knew neither spell though, each tailored specifically to countering this ability and thus were rare and nothing she had know though at the same time such spells were easy to get a hold of two.

But they walked and talked as they made their way to the very spot where they had hidden their hoses a man and women on each though who would be riding with who? Cyril begins drawing Izumi away as if the matter had been decided already.

“First things first we make it to the base camp then plan a course of action from there.”
