"No, you aren't" Lily said quietly. "Are you a prisoner?"

Just their luck, this wasn't even the guy they were looking for! She remembered her fairy tales and what she had watched in documentaries …

“He's at the top of the tower ...” Royal prisoners were kept in towers, commoners in dungeons.

“Yes, though if I weren't I'd have to fire the decorator.” He smirked then gestured about his tiny cell. “I don't imagine I could persuade you in letting me out? I would most appreciate it.”

The Demon or was he a Devil caught wind of Izumi's voice. “Let whom out if I might ask?”

“We can't let him out, he's a Demon and probably deserves to be in there.” Cyril whisper as the man rested upon the bench.

"What are you in here for?" Lily asked. "I want the truth. If you're capable of telling the truth..."

Izumi remains silent as the creature is questioned by Lily. She tries to get a good read of the situation as it unfolds before her. She tries to read green eyes.

“We can't afford to waste time, we should leave him ...” Cyril whispers, it is clear that he does not trust the creature who sets his green eyes towards the door seeing little more than their eyes.

“I am in here for blasphemy. You see, the worship of deities is forbidden in my society, we serve our Demon Lords and serving the Gods, even an evil one, is frowned upon. So I was sealed in here … the walls seal in my power and there is that,” he points to the ceiling bringing their attention to the ceiling where there is glyph sealing him into the chamber.

“But once it was discovered that I worshiped a deity I was placed here until the morning where I am to be transferred to my Demon Lord to be made an example out of and tortured no doubt.” He seemed sincere in his story but he was a fiend and as such he was good at spinning tales if that was what he was doing now.

"Well I'm sure you'll be able to find a way out. I can't help you, since you work for an evil god. That makes you evil and not an ally. Have a nice day," Lily told him before stepping away. "Let's keep looking."

Izumi nodded as she stepped back. It was to the stairs then and she would follow the others as she fell into step … wondering then as they got to the stairs she spoke up.

“It might not too any good ...” She cloaked them all in invisibility or at least tried.

“I never said I worshiped an evil good but even if the God is evil that the matter is considered to be blasphemous.” But he did not argue the point in her decision as she stepped back, or course he never denied serving an evil deity as well or objecting to Lily's words in the least but soon the trio was back on track.

The invisibility spell worked and they ascended the stairs, torches emitting a sickly green light cast their radiance in rooms that held Demons, vulture-like creatures … at last they got to the top floor there were too rooms here opposite one another. Two cells? No just the one on the right had a slit that could be slid away that was set at eye level to per inside.

Sneaking to it and looking inside there was a man laying in a cot facing away from them. He was wearing white and gold religious vestments and had to be the guy that they were looking for.

“Garth … Garth ...” Cyril whispered but the man looked, saw nothing and rolled back over.

Lily reached out to where Cyril's voice had come from and smacked him on the back of the head. "He can't see us, idiot," she pointed out.

There were no guards around so it was easy to drop the invisibility spell. She could renew it later since she had to cloak the priest with it anyway. She was getting use to just thinking things and doing them to stimulate her magic.

“Now behave, Lily, I'm sure Cyril can't help it that he over slept the day that they were passing out brains.” She uttered some Arcane words to unlock the door in front of them.

“Hey!” Cyril rubbed the back of his head as he was smacked and Izumi insulted him, his cheeks burned as the portal before them magically opened and he stepped forth boldly to get the Priest though that was when it happened.

The other door opened, this one was trapped to alert the Demon that resided here and he was shoved forward telekinetically, the door slamming shut and locking again leaving the girls in the hall with a three eyed Demon that looked like a comely human with claws and slightly pointed ears.

“Now, what do we have here?” The Demon swept his gaze over the pair with a grin hanging on his features.

"Shit!" Lily drew her sword quickly and put herself between Izumi and the demon.

Izumi turned at the sound of the door opening behind them, her body tensing as she goes to hurl a sphere of flame until Lily interposes herself and then, with but her gaze and a little concentration sh focuses on increasing her luck by changing properties.

The half Incubus chuckled though he was a magician of great skill focused on Shadow magic. In fact Lily's luck held up but the funny thing was that Izumi, unable to affect her own luck, made herself more of a target this time as Gersham stepped back into the shadows of the doorway then appeared out of the shadows of the wall near Izumi.

Already he had a claw up to Izumi's throat.

“Drop your sword.” Gersham chuckled a little. “Then strip off that armor.”
