Ri listens to the explanation. She provides him with her take on things but he was a being that was use to seeing how the Emissary cared about Adda too. She was better off by being a separate species but he still was concerned.

“In the event something goes wrong … you are important, he will make an effort I am sure but the Emissary -” He halts suddenly not to bad mouth the messenger of the Gods. “I have said too much, my apologies. But it does not hurt to do so as a precaution … just encase.

“After today I will not see you for about half a week That is a short time for you but for an Adda that is a long time. Can I?”

A half dozen or so other girls join her and she is split up as other alien creatures escort the agent and other girls to a large common room where there are already similarly dressed women here … one though looks familiar … though at first it is tough to place her, it had been awhile back and she had never been introduced to her … she was a Major in the ADD she though as her eyes turn to the other red head that was imprisoned here.

There were two guards, though both aliens had been flanking the only entrance and exit out of here.

Alexandra was left in a total daze by the time the three finished with her. She could not remember how much cum she swallowed. In this, she was to be a slave to a new master. It was doubtful her master would let her just break after purchasing her. Alexandra was dressed up and prepared before being led to the common area where the other slaves were being held. The woman kept her eyes lowered to the floor submissively. She noticed a familiar face though that was nothing new when it came to human slave trading. Agents being captured was a sad fact of life.

Most of the women here were broken it seemed given the way that they had kept their gaze diverted to the ground. Some even had green healing balm rubbed into wounds to promote healing, the same sort that Zor had used on her no doubt.

Keeping to herself the other girls stayed away from her. None had welcomed her or gave her the run down of matters nor any of the new arrivals too which seemed to indicate that most had been new or newish in that none had been here long enough to carve out their own niches.

But what was the danger here when face with the other matters that she had already faced to date? Alex had not seen it, perhaps Ri had learned something that she did not or there was something more insidious here.

While there were only two guards here there were three dozen or so slaves that she could not hid from and did not know who was sucking up to her new Master and who was not.

Eventually though groups of girls she noticed, six at a time were being taken from the cell and had been gone for near an hour. Some came back unscathed. Some had that green balm on them and others did not return at all. Of the six maybe four came back and two thirds of those had the balm.

It was her time before long though an some jackal headed creature escorted her into a room with the large elephant creature, a coiled barbed whip had been at his hip.

“The latest … I will give you the rules. Some of you will die, some others will feel the horrors of hell. A few will be lucky ...” He went amongst them having each reach into a box and extract a golf ball, white had separated the girls into a group … there were three white, one blue and one red.

Her's was red and after the girls were split up into there groups one of four and two others of one each they had been led away. Alex noticed that there seemed to be few aliens here though she was taken into a chamber and locked in where she remained until a brown murky slime oozed into the room through a ventilation shaft. It took a humanoid shape and changed colors as it swept through the chamber to adapt to whatever it was standing next to.

“So you are the fifth and last … one of you may survive the ordeal.” There had been no choice offered up; pleasure or pain … he took her then escorting her to a chamber where she was locked in with four other girls in similar attire, one amongst them had looked dirty, scrapped and bruised. It was here that she was to remain for some time … the bulk of the girls she had recognized from the cell that she had just been transferred to.

Alexandra remained obedient along with the other slaves. The crowd was divided up into smaller groups. She met a number of alien creatures but none claimed to be her new owner. It was not until she was alone in a room filled with a few other slaves did a new semi solid creature reveal itself. From how battered one of the slaves was, Alexandra expected nothing but horrible things in her future. The muddy monster confirmed this by claiming that a number of them would expire from this. Despite this looming threat, the agent did not move and waited for her next command. She could only assume this was going to be her new master for the next three days.

Some of the new arrivals were trying to sort out what was going on, what to expect. They had all been scantily clad and the one that seemed to be the worse for wear had seemed to be here the longest. She had some clue they had hoped and it was her fellow agent that had asked her what was going on.

“What sort of testing was that guy talking about? Torture?”

“I wish it were that simple,” the woman answered after a long moment of reflection. “He sends us into a city until just one of us remain ...”

“You mean that we have to fight one another?” Another asks though the woman shakes her head.

“No, something is set loose after us … something … I don't know what … stay in the light or you die it is as simple as that.”

Unless there was anything generated here the woman do not get anything useful from Survivor. She seems to have done this too often though, more times then she could remember. Each time she was sent back to the same city with a different combination of slaves. Sometimes she came back alone, sometimes with others. Any time she pulled a red ball she was sent to the city, white she had just been sent back for normal duties. A drawn blue ball got one some personal attention from the gastropod.

Before long the women were gathered up, loaded onto a shuttle where each had been shackled to the wall by neck collars. They were ferried to the moon to this world to a mock city of section of one. There they were let out onto a landing pad on the roof of a hospital.

The elephant-like task master addressed them. “Those that survive will be picked up at this spot tomorrow ...” The shuttle leaves the five women.

“We need weapons -”

“They do not work. As far as I can tell this was once a city or a replica of one … it has everything a normal city has I have found though most of it is dimly lit.”

“There are lights?”

“Some – stick to them.”

“Screw this! Why don't we get some more light!”

“There are a few rooms in the hospital that are lit up fairly well but the electric plant is in the darker portions of the city, making the attempt to get there will get us killed.”

“From what exactly? You're just saying to stay in the light.”

“The darkness, that is what does it ...”

The women decide to go to one of the rooms in the hospital but there is a slight problem, the light in the room isn't as bright but rather dim, the generators not as potent as they once were or perhaps there was another issue.

“This is not good, we're going to need that light! Any light.” And as Survivor spoke their was a faint clattering in the corridor and a low growl … something was nearby but had not honed in on them yet.

“Flares, matches, flashlights, whatever you can find if we don't have that generator ...”

The four looked nervous though none more so then Survivor, who seemed to be directing them with little immediate solutions rather than bigger ones though if she went along with matters was her call. Chances were with that thing out there so close at least one if not more of them would forfeit their lives if they acted foolishly …

It seemed like a sick game the owner was playing with his slaves. But, there was little the agent could do. She had pulled a red ball and she was to succeed in her mission. But at the same time, she did not want the other five to die. Alexandra had already forced two women into slavery because of her failings. She did not want to be the cause of the death of these women.

All they could gather from the slave who has done this before was that the darkness hid a creature that would kill them if they ever enter it. That was going to be difficult to avoid as they land on the empty city and found only dim lighting at best at the hospital the survivor led them to. At this rate, the power could go at any moment. But, how will they get to the generator? Where was the generator?

The low growl made everyone nervous as they had only dim light to hide in. "Is there a backup generator here?" Alexandra asked. This was a hospital. They would have to have something to power the medical tech here in case of power outage. The agent tried to see where she could go safely. There was no information of how long she could stay in darkness before that thing gets her so she had to assume the worst. There was little else she could do but try and search along the dimly lit routes. If she could find some portable, all the better.

Survivor nodded at her question. “Yes, downstairs in the basement though to get there is not without risk. I tried it once before ...” she broke off from the memory.

“We have to do something, we can't just sit here waiting for the lights to go out! How long does it strike after we enter the darkness? Is it the darkness or something in it? Can we lure it away?”

“Something in it … it varies though I know that it cannot enter the light. If we split up we do this in groups of two. I know where the generators are downstairs, I've been there before, you're with me. You two brake down the hall, at the end of it is a stairwell, do to the fourth floor, two flights down the first door on the left is an illuminated room. Once it starts after you the last of you wait for the creature to pass then distract it dipping back into here. I can get us some more lights on the way back from the storage area. Sound good? Does that work for everyone?”

"It is not like we have many other options..." Alexandra replied, moving to follow the survivor. The other four would be putting themselves at risk in order to ensure they get some light for the day. Failure would lead to not only their deaths but the possible deaths of future groups. There was no information revealing the taskmaster would restore the lights if the generators failed. The fact this city was made showed that their owner had plenty of credits to burn it seemed. Probably why it does not care about losing a few slaves here and there.

They all had to hope the woman's information was accurate and that there was only one monster hidden in the shadows.

Everyone had been appraised of their roles and while the first pair of decoys left to get to attention of the creature before making a dash for safety they headed out of the room using a bit of hurried stealth, the last group preparing to distract the creature again. How smart was it? Had there been just the one? Even Survivor did not know that though it appeared that that there had been only one of them.

Finding a stairwell Survivor lead her down. She was nervous in that darkness that swept over her as if she were pushing her luck, as if she had finally realized that this time she might not be coming back.

Reaching the basement that had been barely illuminated in red emergency lights they entered into the room containing the main generator. Vicious claw marks scored the casing, wires cut through … it was a mess and one of the creatures (if indeed there were more than one of them) must have realized what it was and did a number on it when the power had been cut.

Though it appeared that a back up generator kicked in some time later driving it out of the room before it could thoroughly trash it.

There were two problems. There had been some minor damage to the generator though with the right tools and parts she should be able to repair it. The damage wasn't so great as to stop the generator from running but dwindled it's life span in that it would die out sooner than they'd like.

Though most of the parts she could take from that damaged generators. The second was that the power cells to the back up had not been change and needed to be replaced.

“Fuck! OK, we can handle this. There's a storeroom down here that should have some extra power cells though for tools we'd have to go back to the roof where the maintenance materials for the shuttles is kept …

“Do you think the generator can get us through the night without those repairs?”

Scavenging through the room turns up one flashlight hanging on the wall to access a panel behind a generator and casting enough light there to see what one was doing. Survivor was calculating their next move as to weather they should split up to accomplish both tasks at one. As it was this room was not safe yet and she knew little about machines hoping that this was easy to repair.

They would definitely need a spare power cell and by the looks of it the generator was portable though it was plugged in to the wall and could serve to power all vital functions or smaller ones, such as a room if they could get everyone together where there would be less strain on the battered device.

They immediately saw the cause of the lower power in the building. Somehow, the creature managed to get inside the room and destroy the primary generator and damaged the backup. There was no other choice, they had to repair this. But, could Alexandra repair this while it ran? Turning off the generator would leave them in darkness and completely exposed by the creature and its claws.

"Even if it could survive the day, there is still the next time we are thrown into this sick game," Alexandra said, "We need to repair this. But, we need more lights for everyone if we are going to do that. There is no way to repair this while it is running. We need to get everyone in here with some light sources so I can repair this while keeping everyone safe." In anycase, they should get what they need first. "Lets get the power cell and tools first. Maybe we can find more flashlights to use before gathering everyone else?"

Survivor nodded. “Sounds good. Each time they dropped me off it was here. Let's do this.”

There was no choice in the matter and she began to lead the way through the darkened hallways of the basement. It was tense with only that beam of light from the flashlight guiding them along. So far so good the creature or creatures were above and they got to the storage down here though along the way their were husks, old bodies of insects with red caprices that had been slashed apart, the bugs she had run in before on her last assignment.

These were the smaller workers and they may have been dead for some time it was tough to tell with the insectoid remains that were brittle to the touch but genuinely intact if not disturbed …

The storage room had what they needed. In addition to extra power cells there were two fusion lamps and a few flashlights. There were also two arc wielders here, while she might have been able to use them to effect repairs the light it through off from sparks could be useful.

The roof had proven more difficult to access as they could hear the (or one of) the creatures moving around there. It was either take their chances with this stairwell and risk attack of dose their lights and try to sneak by. It didn't sound as if it were in this stairwell though but on one of the floors.

Against her better judgment Survivor elected to shut off the flashlights and sneak by. “Split up if it comes after us, make it have to choose … it can only pursue one of us.”

The door to the fifth floor was ripped off it's hinges and they made their way to the roof, more aptly the maintenance supplies that had been here. The place was locked with a simple pad lock though a few solid blows broke the lock and gave them admittance.

It was light enough here that they did not have to immediately worry about an attack though soon as the sun slipped entirely beyond the horizon they would … they had enough time after arrival to move to a lit area though today they had a bit more light indicating to Survivor that they were moving out of the Winter season here on the moon to a Spring one where there was more light during the day.

Here they found a box of flares, a flare gun and tools to work on the shuttles that she could use to make repairs. Tool belts here let them carry good potions of equipment though Alex would need one for the actual tools.

It was on their way back that they heard a low growling sound from within the stair well, the creature was here and the sounds were getting louder as she could see something shifting through the shadows as it approached, getting ready to attack no doubt a it neared the pair slowly as if it were drawing out their fear before it sprang out of the darkness at them.
