Re: Introductions (for Stephanie and Rosalie)
“So what was it that was on your mind before you left?” Curiosity gets the better of her as Rose returns to the room getting her immediate attention as he blue eyes dip down the form of the girl before her then back up partially wondering if there was something or if the other girl was just teasing her.

"Huh? Oh, it was nothing really." Rosalie answers. As much as she hated lying about something like that, they were trying to have fun, and those thoughts would only bring down both of them. She would tell her a little later. "So um, what else did you want to do?"

Re: Introductions (for Stephanie and Rosalie)
She had been promised something that she would like on her return but it seemed as if Rose either got cold feet about something or reneged on what she was thinking about, either way Andrea had not been about to dwell too much on it as she focused on the matter at hand.
“Oh, I came back so you didn't wet the bed. I just wanted to grant you a little taste today, that and to get you to consider matters a bit as to what you need to get out of things so there was no fooling yourself in one thing or another …
“If you were doing this just for fun, out of loneliness or liked it to give yourself a true understanding of these matters … of course, should you wish to continue, regardless of what you conclude it is far to easy to continue.”

"Oh I see. Yes, I suppose we shouldn't overdo it the first night. Perhaps it's only fair that I share a secret with you about myself. I do have one special gift..." Rosalie says before locking eyes with Stephanie. The blonde girl would see a flash in her eyes, then start to smell the scent of several flowers. "The scent you're smelling is from the garden at my home. How do you like it?"

“Oh, I do not mind in over doing it,” she grins, “but reflecting on the matter, even just a little is a good thing in getting you to understand what you're after. Of course that might change on way or the other in time but I definitely won't be offended one way or another.”
Andrea was use to criticism after all, though when she witnessed that flash in Rose's eyes she realized that something was going on. A phantom scent? She had immediately smelled flowers, she was use to getting them at concerts as Andrea Summers so she recognized the scents of more than a few of them though there were others that weren't quite apparent to her.
“Yes, that's amazing. I take it you have to make eye contact to use it too? Just smells or is there more you can do with it?
“I have a secret too, maybe I'll share it with you one day, it's nothing as extraordinary as this though.”

Re: Introductions (for Stephanie and Rosalie)
"I can. I call it sensory hypnosis. Once I make eye contact with someone, I can take control over any one of their five basic senses. The catch is, in order to switch from one sense to another, I would have to end the first spell and start over again." Rosalie then sighs and frowns before continuing. "Unfortunately, it seems to have no affect on the creatures here. So I can't use it to protect myself or anyone else. Another thing that's troubling is that I used to be able to make it last for several hours. Now I'm lucky if I can get it to last a little more than one hour." Rosalie smiles a bit hearing Stephanie saying she had her own little secret, but fakes a pouty face when she won't share. "Aw that's no fair." She then smirks. "No that's okay. Actually, I haven't shared everything about myself either."

Re: Introductions (for Stephanie and Rosalie)
“That's not so useless, actually,” she begins as she ponders the hypnosis. “Limited to being useful in certain situations … you can't affect the monsters or yourself but if you are with someone you could at least help them a little.
“If one of these things tortures someone you could make the torture feel pleasant or change what they see so they don't see a monster but a lover or love interest. It seems better for pranks though. How did you discover it? Were you born with the gift or did you learn it?”
As to her secret she just grinned. “Well, someday perhaps, though if it ever gets out things will get interesting … I'd just like to keep things as simple as possible for as long as possible. Once the curtain falls it can't be placed back up.”

Re: Introductions (for Stephanie and Rosalie)
"I'm pretty sure I was born with it. I didn't consciously learn it from a spell book or anything like that, but it did take time to learn how to use it properly, like that I can't make anyone experience something I haven't experienced myself. When you see, hear, feel, taste, or smell something while under my hypnosis, you're experiencing the same sensations I felt." Rosalie explains. "Yes, I can understand not wanting to tell everyone. Only a handful of other girls here know of my ability. If everyone knew, I would be treated very differently, probably not in a good way either."

Re: Introductions (for Stephanie and Rosalie)
“It is neat when it comes down to it. It sort of reinforces the notion of trying new things even when you don't like them. The more you experience the more you can draw upon. In time and with practice I have no doubt that it will improve too.”
She knew a thing or two about practice.
“I can see the chances if everyone knew you'd be the first that they'd suspect in a prank. Until I came here education was, well, interesting at best. Lots of headaches that I am happy to do without. Now I'm just the girl that can get something, scrounge something … no one special … and that's how I like it Rose.”

Re: Introductions (for Stephanie and Rosalie)
(Sorry about not responding, I never got a notification and was looking back at old threads when I saw that there was a new post in this one)
She nods at the explanation then smiles. “Oh, well yeah. Life's too short and all they say. Besides, I'm the sort of person that prefers being shot down but trying then not to have tried at all and always guessing about matters.”
Later that evening just before six she arrives at room 109, trying the door and finding it unlocked. She had a little white bag with her and attempts to sneak in, shutting the door behind her quietly, blue eyes flicker to the wall and her surroundings to get a better idea about Rosalie though someone was going to practice singing today and it wasn't going to be her.
Andrea looked for Rosalie then trying to remain silent as she did so.
