Scorch watched as Krissy and the scientist assessed the damage. She also listened to the agent and at first she had thought nothing about the weapon situation. She had plenty though Harmony probably wrenched itself away from her ship damaging both in the process so they were limited to what they had and what they could find.

“It wasn't my call … encase of pirates we had the secondary drive out fitted with the prototype. It was never to be used though in a pinch the idea was to pop into a region of space where we couldn't be followed and out of it after a few seconds light years away. Someone must have triggered something, a cunt down or something … the drive was never intended on being used for more than three seconds.

“Safety protocols cut it but must have fried the device. This is a mixed blessing, the first being that the gravity well didn't crush us already but without this drive we are effectively stuck.

“In simulations we got a stable worm hole open for four seconds without a Smasher but to fix this thing we'll need to replace the power cuplink and that Phase Strainer. There is a little bit of good year. The device gives off rather unique energy signatures so replacement parts could be located -”

“You mean you could track the other drive if we get back?” Scorch sounded hopeful here.

“If we get back. This is bad … the good thing is that the ship is still intact and moveable but since we are neither here or there we an only interact with the things that are here even if there may be 'tares' in space that allow us to see what is going on in either dimension so the only Xagi we'll have to worry about are those that were stuck in transit from the two dimensions. This is a sort f Limbo … we really need to get on sensors t see what is out there though … there are extra parts where I should be able to whip up another power cupling but the Strainer … I can't think of any readily replacement for it save for getting damn lucky … finding a destroyed bridge and salvaging one that might have gotten caught on this side of the door so t speak but I'd have no idea where to begin and such a place is probably way more dangerous than right here.”

“Not that we can hope to avoid a bit of additional danger at this point, huh.”

Krisna tinkered with the device she dugg out off the steaming pile ofslag thatwas once thedeiver and examined it closly while listening to Hope, Destiny and Shelia think up a plan. However the three spoke krisna mood seemed almost frustrated as she coudnt help but mummble to her self afther shelia spoke all her scientist talk. "Huh...keep a tare open longer then 4 secionds with out a smasher... psst... try getting through that in one piece...." Krisna muttered to her self as she reached to her utility belt and whipped out a familure pen like device and began to poke the spheres cubical ridges with a blue percise lazer like light.

"Well! we might befine with out the phase strainer.... unless you like having bones and you know.....living." Krisna said seriously, adding to the allready heavy conversation befor she turned back to toy with the sphere she pulled out of the drive momments ago.

"Hmm... mybe if I? ..start this.... then I swith on that... I might get...a...hmm...YES!" Krisna said to her self, afther a momment of concentration Krisna shined the lazor pen she held over one side of the metalic sphere befor suddenly the worm hole driver component activated on its own. Humming lightly as it shine with a faint pale blue glow as Krisna carful stude up keeping the lazer shined on it as she took a deep breath and look to her lovers and thenew comer with a kind smile. " Ok! I think I can help with that last part...but!... I need both my hands... can some one take this for a momment?"

Tares? Smashers? Phase stainers? Hope would not pretend to know what was going on. She was a soldier after all and Mia knew all that tech stuff so she had never bothered to learn any of it. She understood the gist of it though and shook her head a little taking up the sphere.

“So we're stuck … um … I think I might know of a place we might find something ...” Hope considered though she doubted that any of them had any better ideas at the moment. “I know where one of the bridges was, I'm not saying that there will be anything there though but I don't have anything save for trying to fix this stuff and I can't do that.”

Gero Station. She would supply the coordinates if necessary. Shelia mentioned seeing out of the transit dimension, maybe something came through and with the sensors on this ship they might be able to find it. Only thing was that there were bond to be a ton of Xagi drones there too ...

She takes up the device from Kris freeing her hands.

“We don't need the gate open for long, just long enough to get the ship though. We sort of need a phase stainer as getting back would be a mot point if we were dead. Of course without the smasher the ship is going to take a ton of structural damage. We may even die ...” Dr. Evans sighed.

She glanced to Hope. “Areas that have had a bridge are weaker points that we could theoretically punch through easier if we get all the necessary components though unless something fell on this side of the gate when the gate collapsed …

“If we go to this station we could move about it but think of it like this. We'd be invisible and inaudible to those there and could only interact with those things on our side f the bridge. The space between dimensions. Our sensors could only read what was in between the worlds too and we would phase through everything. Someone out of phase could shoot you and it would pass through you without harm unless they were in the same place. I'm assuming a few things to, that things out of phase would appear less real, colors being off or something like that and force of will moving one or else you'd sink through the floor.” She shrugged as Hope takes up the device and she inspect it from across the room.

“Well, you two can tinker with these matters. I know little about this stuff and I'm assuming your the same way, Hope. We can get those parts and you two can figure out what to do to fix things. I don't suppose there's an armory on the ship?”

Shelia shook her head. “No, it's a science vessel but in one f the labs they were experimenting with lasers. Does that help?”

“It's a start.” She felt so useless doing nothing though they could keep in touch with the radios in their suits. Though if they went t the station and these Xagi could now phase they would have to protect the girls until they got clear of the station though if their instruments only worked on this side f the door if they did not pick up anything then there was nothing there and they could just leave without taking unnecessary risks as far as the ex-pirate figured. But she would see to maneuvering the ship and setting a course to the station before returning unless there was reason not to do this of course.

Returning she would find out just what was needed to assemble a list in her head. “Of course you two might be best coming with us. Two groups may be best too and since you two know what we're looking for one of you will go with Hope, the other myself. Agreed?”

"Thank you!" Krisna said to Hope as she handed over the sphere while she carfully kept the lazer pen shined on it befor taking a couple steps back. "Ok just hold still..... just like that!" Krisna said to Hope with a kind smile befor reaching down to her utility belt with her off hand and pulling up a diffrent device. It looked somthing like a flat rectangular plate with a single dim glowing blue button in its center that Krisna simply clicked as out flashed a large holografic display Krisna began to carfuly read.

The text on the display was not understandable to any one els in the room but Krisna as she scanned the words, looking like a jumbled up mess off diffrent symbols, wrightings, other things Shelia woud most likly recigonize as some kind of mathmadical equations befor the travler smiled and simply closed the device as the holografic display disipated and with a flick of her wrist Krisnas neat little dudad split down the middle letting her atrach it to the lazer pen she carfulful cept pointed at the sphere Hope was holding.

"Ok..Hope! stand just like that and dont move!.... or els you might lose a arm... or wosre...." Krisna]said with all seriousness then smiled playfully at Hope and giggled. "haha.. just kidding....you will be fine.... I hope..." Krisna whispered under her breath with the last part befor she twisted the pen slowly as the beam from the lazer pen grew more nerrow and bright as does the sphere befor it slowly began to rumble and grow warm.

"Ok... If... my calculation is right... I can use this binary core unit using wirless energy transfer to talk to my humbug and engage its recall function. With luck I can have it send me my omni tool through a localized tare only it can safly phase through to me, right here, in this dimention.... either that or a micro black hole will form at the center of that thing!" Krisna will point at the sphere and smile at Hope and the others.

“WHAT!” She was holding the device as instructed though that part about loosing an arm caught her by surprise. Cybernetic prosthesis could replace it but those were a bundle and she had doubted that the Directorate would pay for it.

Her military career would effectively be over.

“If this can pull things here couldn't we just pull replacement parts here if we know where they are?”

“What, a black hole! Are you crazy!” Dr. Evans snapped. She had recognized some of the holographic mathematics equations but had not understood them in part or in hole, just enough to be familiar that this was some sort of proof that one of the blue haired girl's had been looking at though she appeared human and not alien so why had she not recognized the symbols?

“And you were calling me reckless for the drive! Do you realize that if you mess up we won't have to worry about getting back?”

Shelia shook her head though Scorch patted Krissy on the shoulder. “I'm sure that the risk is rather small or that tool is necessary and worth the risk. I'm sure she knows what she's doing and we have nothing to worry about. Besides, on the bright side if she just opens a black hole here only this dimension is at risk.”

Shelia shook her head. “And a connecting black hole could form near the tool too.”

“Well, if it doesn't work maybe the effects only work on this end. Regardless, we don't have to worry about it,” well that was certainly one way to look at it. “All that aside, provided we are still alive we should pick out our teams before going to Gyro … Gero Station ...”

" Dont worrie Hope! It will not happen..... Besides I'll kiss it and make it bettereven if it does!" Krisna giggled then fiddled with the lazer pen as its beam turned from a pale blue to a much lighter red while the sphere grew more warm and tense in rumbling in Hopes hands. "Well yes I could get replacement parts instead..... but like you said we have no clue were they are so its not impossible but impossible right now..... but! my omni can locate parts! so its kind of the same thing...." Krisna giggled then looked to Shelia who was freaking out on the idea of a black hole forming here or there, were Krisna only smiled at her lover who patted her sholder taking her side in this as she looked at the scientist who was worried giving her another smile to assure her. "Well yes...we all are a little crazy... or els this wount work." Krisna replied then looked back to Hope and nodded. "You ready?"

Kissing Destiny on the cheek for good luck Krisna Krisna would hold out her hand to Hope and the others, holding out three fangers saying when she was going to start befor she started the count down. "Ok on three!.....3..." Krisna said then clinched the lazer pen with two hands then cranked it all the way to max power capacity completly skipping her own count down faze and going throught with the plan despite what Shelia said.

The sphere in Hopes hands would quickly begin to rumble like a jack hammer making it hard to hold still as it shook her too as the device grew hotter and hotter almost painful to touch. Afther a seciond more a light redish glow would come off the device making Hopes body feel a light tingle through out her body as she would notice cracks forming threw out the metalic shell befor finilly there was a sound of breaking glass and a bright flash of light enveloping te room blind ever one mommentarly.

Hope would feel a surge of power travel through her arms and body afther the flash befor the sphere she tightly ....(#1)

(#2)... sphere she tightly held shook her along with it befor finilly poof! it blinked out impoding in a whirl of energy strong enough to knock Hope on her cute ass, but just as the four thought it was all over and every thing was well there was a new flash of light. In a flash a knew sphere of light formed right on Hopes chest, like a micro sun it grew warm befor slowly it blacken and twisted into a tiny dark mass of chaotic energy befor it grew and grew to the point of engulfing Hopes body completly leaving Krisna heart to sink. "Uh Oh!!"

Feeling like a mass of pulsing gravity hugging her tightly.

Hope was at its center, feeling diffrent forces pulling and tugging at her body from all diffrent directions as just befor it felt like she was to be ripped away the black hole vanish into nothingness fading out leaving behind Hope seemingly unharmed on the floor. Yet the omni tool was nowere insight, Hope could feel somthing hard, cold and metal under her suit nussled between her breast.

Krisna quickly ran to Hopes side droppig her fried lazer device and quickly examined Hope from any effects a home made tare might of caused. "Oh godess are you allright!" Krisna said worried to Hope. " It wasnt so post to do that.... well it was a side effect but not sopost to do it!" Krisna would cry and tightly hug Hope. " lets not do that agin!"

Kiss it better, she was joking, she had to be though that had not eased her any. In fact she grew more nervous, her eyes, gold colored in this light, reflected the worry that she was going through but she nodded to indicate that she was ready.

She had to fight with the sphere she held. It tumbled in her grasp despite trying to keep it still though it had not gotten out of control. The sphere even grew warmer and I she was not wearing the environmental suit she probably wouldn't have been able to maintain the hold as even with it she felt that the sphere was growing warmer and warmer.

“What!? What is it!?” She became panicked as Kris expressed worry when their vision cleared. Then a heaviness swept over her.

Her limbs felt as if they were being restrained though there was nothing there. Her body felt nauseous, she felt as if the growing sphere enveloping her would cause her to implode but thankfully that was not the case.

She had been knocked prone, the sphere vanishing and in it's wake she felt something beneath her suit. She had to be helped to her feet and blink a few times as she was caught up in a daze.

“Yeah … let's not ...” Hope managed. She was beside herself then. “My body feels like jelly, it aches everywhere … almost like my bones were being liquified." Her helmet had been clipped to her belt so it was an easy matter to turn her back to the three braking the seal on her suit she digs out the metal and sips the suit back up before turning around and presenting it to Kris.

“Was this what you were after?”

“I'M DEFINANTELY NOT GOING ON HER TEAM!”

“Well, seeing how Hope and I lack the science you'd be teaming with one of us. Reckless? Maybe. Maybe not. I'll team with her.”

Shelia sighed. The two were lovers as indicated by the kiss, but she was more cautious when she operated, of course she didn't do anything that was life and death related. “What is that?”

She gazed to the tool that had been offered up by one of the blue haired girls t the other one.

When all that was settled and she took a look at the device she turned over in her hands. “OK, so how's this suppose to work? Does it hook into the sensors? We need to set the ship on course but need to have a destination first. All we have so far is that station.”

Krisna dropped to knees beside Hope to check her other lover from injury, quickly examining Hope worried what happen caused any harm but luckly saw non but did notice a new buldge under Hopes suit as Krisna uriously poked it. "Whats this?" Krisna asked puzzled looking to Hope who was just coming around. "No way? it went their... odd your lucky it didnt port inside of you....that could have been worse..." Krisna said as she looked Hope head to toe befor standing up then helped Hope up too and gave her agent lover a kind smile afther wiping some sorry tears away.

"I'm soory Hope. " Krisna said agin hugging her befor she turned around as she loked up at Hope after she mentiond how self felt. "Uhmm I'm sure its only a side effect.... but then agin your the first person Ive seen go in side of a black hole and come out so lets think of it as a blessing." Krisna would smile and watch as Hope siply turned her back to get the tool nussled beteen her gogious boobs.

Meanwhile turning back to Shelia and her lover afther the ordeal, seeig a very worried and confused doctor. "Its ok! I would have never done it if I didnt think Hope would surive.." Krisna would smile at Shelia befor turning back to Hope who by this time would be finished getting the tool out from under her suit pulling up it back up but it have Krisna a nice view of her lovers bare back as she blushed slightly watching Hope gett dressed befor Hope zipped up her suit and turned presenting the travler with the omni tool. "Uhmm thanks Hope.... but why did you turn around? Are you shy becuse Shelias here?" Krisna asked befor she took the omni tool.

Krisna eyed the device befor she, flipped it open, it quickly displaying a holo screen showing a number of diffrent gages and more symbols that looked like numbers mybe befor Krisna flipped it back. "Every things seems ok... Hope hold still agin?" Krisna asked befor she pointed her Omni tool at her lover Hope as a quick blue light ran over the agent scanning...(#1)

(#2).... a quick blue light scanned the agent's body head to toe befor Krisna simply flipped the device back as a holografic disply agin ignited from the hud of the omni tool. However this display looked like Hope, the omni tool recreating a holografic image of Hope as ran numbers and stats on the agent and her body as Krisna move the display of Hope this way and that.

"Humm every thing seems normal?... Hips 32, Waist 21, Bust 36 B? huh..odd...matching old data says 34 B weird?, hightight 5', wight 105...." Krisna read off the data outloud befor she looked at other points of her scan and looked puzzled. "Well your slightly iradiated but nothing that is harmful...Ill have to run more tests later." Krisna giggled, giving Hope a reasuring smiled then looked at Shelia afther the ADD scientist asked what her device was making the travler smile and hand it over to Shelia. "Thats my Omni tool, its a device I use to...well?... I guess do anything." Krisna giggled as she let the scientist take the device to examine it. "It doest need to hook in anywere, It will just find what we need on its own."

“I'm alright,” she assured the Traveler. If her bones had actually liquified then she couldn't stand now but everything ached, a fact that she was sorely reminded f with that hug. “OWW! I'm alright, just a little sore she assured the others. Though next time you can hold the sphere. Um … what happened to the sphere anyway?” She looked for it but did not see it. She had been holing it, then the light, then the black hole … did it transform? Yes, that made sense … well kind of given that she did not understand the science involved.

She reddened as Kris mentioned her turning about. She was advertising the fact that she had been into girls, well, her only real experience was with the two here and she didn't want people thinking that she was odd or anything but it was out there, Shelia was smart enough to figure it out.

Casting a look in Dr. Evans direction then back to Kris. “Yeah ...” she stated softly.

But she supposed that she had survived through the matter some how. Something had to be opposing the black hole and neutralized it in the end but what could do that? What could be so powerful? She could not get her mind around that but as she was told to stand still she did, the light rolling over her.

Come again? Her bust had been a bit larger? Her bra felt a bit tighter though with her body ached too much that she had not noticed that fact. Her features with beat red though as Kris read out her stats … namely weight … “KRIS! OK, so everything checks out, we'll have a complete run through when we get back.”

She waited as Shelia gawked over the tool though Luna had access to more equipment and if she could not figure it out she doubted that Shelia would have a prayer. So it was her and the doctor, she supposed that would be alright. She wouldn't have any black holes to worry about though they lacked the science to make artificial gate ways like that. Discussions were made as to moving the ship and locating those parts though she just listened for the time being ...

So this was some kind of trio? Shelia looked over the three then the tool though she would be unable to operate it she got into asking as to how it functioned and found that it could only be used by the reckless girl …

Anyway it was off to the bridge again where she discovered the ship's navigator. That was the problem she discovered, he had switched over to the secondary drive and initiated it. Someone must have stopped the cunt down, seeing that it took a few minutes to charge up the drive. When they were looking at the body earlier it must have hit something that reengaged the drive.

So, mystery solved … but they still had to get back. Fortunately most of the ship had been fully automated being a top line science vessel. The navigator's body was removed and set on the floor of the adjacent captain's cabin and Scorch spent the time manning the station after pulling up some sensor logs on Mercer's ship and it's configuration. If he had the drive and it released an energy signature … well, she'd have Shelia pull up the data. First she had Hope relay the coordinates to Gero Station punching them in.

“It's our only real lead. Krissy can use the Omni to figure out if there's anything there. If not we can zip out of there before there are any issues. Can the ONMI locate and scan for these items or do they act like sensors and get to pin point things in range? Can it tell us where other likely bridges were so we don't have to randomly go around hoping to get lucky.”

“You do realize how big space is? Our supplies will run out before we make a dent.”

Scorch shrugged. “Well, nothing gets done if we just sit here. At least we have a small chance.”

“Do you realize how infinitesimally small that chance is?”

“Not really, but I'm willing to be no one else in this situation had an OMNI tool too, right Krissy?”
