Clearly there was going to be an issue here as the creatures leaped to the attack against the quartet ...

If it weren't one thing it was another. The demons rushed them. Unfortunately they were between them and the well s they had no choice open to them but t fight. These creature's were coming at them head on but they out numbered them.

Of course, the priest was unarmed. She summoned up the purple darts f force again sending them streaking at the lead demon in an effort to thin out their numbers some, other destructive spells coming to mind as she tried t keep the things away from her and drop her offensive spells n them.

The lead Demon sprang forth a trio of purple darts hitting it in mid leap and flinging it back towards a wall where it makes sicking contact there and slides down a wall, the wind knocked out of it as a second lands near Lily cocking back a clawed webbed arm.

As it pulled back an arm it's chest was exposed allowing Lily's blade to cut into it though it howled it swung, the girl avoiding the shot as the third lands near Izumi who knocks it back with a gust of intense wind.

Cyril rushes to the one fighting Lily, his blade assisting hers as the two work upon the creature , feeling it, the priest reciting scriptures but doing little else as a nimbus of gold energy surrounds him.

Lily and Cyril help deal with the one that landed near Izumi dispatching it as the last had been getting to it's feet, streams of spell energy coming at it, the force damage most effective as purple darts of pure force slam into in felling the creature but not killing it.

As it pulled itself up Lily and Cyril could dispatch it. Izumi with the water breathing in effect amongst them all it was time to get back. They managed to get back to the underground river though how much tie did they have?

Fortunately the Demon bodies melted into black sludge and were not readily apparent at least not as much as bodies were.

With a head start they were able to get back to the camp. Their the rather pleased King had greeted them.

“You've done well. Is there anything you two need? Get some rest and tomorrow morning we will see about the next portion of our plans.” Unless their was anything further Cyril would show the two to a medium sized tent so that they could retire for the evening ...
