Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Minerva was not ready for the response she received from the sergeant as she protested the Lieutenant decision. Then she used the one thing Minerva rarely saw anyone use in the middle of operation. Luna dared to use logic.
Fine as long as your ship can keep the girls save you can come with me. Minerva sighed. Luna was right though, she would never find her sister without being able to hack into the ship's computers.
It was then Luna asked about the Adda device, I did. I also picked up a few weapons. So we are at least better armed. She had Luna the pistol she had collected from the guard.

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
She brightened up. Luna was not much of a soldier but her technical savvy could not be mistaken.
“We can stay in touch with these then.” Taking the pistol she checked it out before slipping it through a loop in her belt and using the acquired communicator to speak with the AI of her ship to relay the change in plans and to watch out for the girls aboard the craft itself.
Once that had been done she left with Minerva again. The deserted halls in this sector of the ship allowing her to plug into one of the computers in the hall and access some records and while they had been in a different language she had already installed a program on her wrist computer to translate known languages into Galactic Standard.
She had been at it for a few minutes pulling up information and scanning it quickly for anything that had been useful, her eyes registering the familiar name Balnab Quebos a few times only because she paid attention to the renegade scientist.
Bringing up a map of the ship again she consulted their present location with that of where they needed to go.
“We're not too far from the labs. Everything I've read seems to imply that the ship took on two passengers at that station and call it a hunch but this Quebos character is probably running some sort of experiment and that medical supplies have been loaded onto the ship stored here in the cargo bay,” she pointed at the display of her wrist computer, “and here at this lab.
“She's likely there as is Quebos. How are we going to assail this? The hangers are here one level up though if we use the elevator between decks they'd probably be expecting that if we alert them.”
She was brain storming with the agent thus far before committing to anything.

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
The sergeant seemed to perk at the mention that she would be brought along with Minerva on her rather personal quest.
The brunette took the pistol and put in her belt before she called the ship in to pick up the girls that the pair of agents had managed to rescue so far. Now there was only one girl left to rescue, and that one was most important for Lieutenant Rocha.
As soon as the other girls had been safely put onboard Luna’s ship, the redhead attention turned to the halls once more. Fortunately for the pair of agents it seemed like the crew were still not aware that anything had happened. The halls were deserted, allowing Luna to use the nearest terminal to hack into the ship.
Minerva kept an eye on the hallways to make sure were not interrupted, though she was still curious about what was going on the computer. The redhead could not help but steal a glance and the console and notice the name Balnab Quebos, but that was all she saw before a map detailing the layout of the ship.
Minerva sighed. What you found on that computer, seems to be match what the girls were saying. This Quebos alien wanted two girls with really good memories and the two with really bad ones. The fifth girl was suppose to be some sort of control. That would imply that he is performing some sort of experiment. The redhead fists clenched at the mere thought of what could be happening.
Slowly Minerva’s anger subsided as her partner encouraged the redhead to think about how to approach this rescue. We should avoid the elevators if possible and try to use stairs or ladder to avoid being cut off from the hangers. Maybe one of us should go to the lab while the other prep a shuttle in the hanger.

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
“Memory … what does he want with that ...” she was speaking rhetorically to herself as she was considering the matter. It had seemed he had two of each girl and a control for his experiment, whatever it would be.
She thinks for a moment though then nods bringing up the map again for her comrade to study it and memorize what she could of the sector that she would be operating in.
“We still have the element of surprise on our side and it seems that to secure a ship there will be a lot of things up my alley so I'll do so and we can keep in touch with our communicators if there are any big changes. With the sabotage already done to the ship's tractor beams in this section it is my hope that they don't have it fixed before we make our exit though I should be able to rig something up to disable them or their sensors in that region to keep our ship from showing up at once. We'll probably have fighters to deal with though that are launched after us in that case so I'll look for an armed shuttle just set the communicator to vibrate so it doesn't go off while trying to hide.”
She shows Minerva how to set it in such a fashion, travels with her for some distance before splitting up from her.

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Getting to the labs had been easy enough, they had been big enough and there were two ways in, one from an adjoining lab and the other from a door that lead directly in from the hallway.
To get here the agent had to sneak past a few Adda that were patrolling the sector haphazardly though the inside of one of the labs revealed that there was a single Adda soldier here near the upright table that a blue haired student had been strapped too, a needle being drawn away from her arm by the armored figure that stood before her, a tray at it's side complete with all manners of test tubes and a datapad of some sort.
The creature had no weapon though and what she had first mistook as armor could have been some sort of life apparatus …
There was a machine her two, lights flashing beneath a face plate as it stood here silently and it was obvious that the chest plate opened in some fashion. Scratches marred the metal showing that it had been scuffed up in conflict of some sort, it stood motionless against the wall near the two, the Adda glancing to them on occasion as if watching the armored figure rather than protecting him in some fashion. So far none of the four seemed to be aware of her presence as each had been near the lab equipment rather than the doors leading into the room and there were crates and other supplies her that had hindered vision, the area used more of a store room than a lab it seemed as Goro had little use for practical science ...

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
The agent had stealthily made her way to the labs. There was multiple ways in and the redhead was able to pick the one that was the less patrolled. There Adda patrols but they seemed to be haphazardly placed, as if they were doing more out of habit than any serious patrols.
Once she got in the lab, the agent’s worse fears were realized. She first saw a single Adda soldier that was standing over a blue haired girl that was strapped down to the table. It was then Minerva realized that a needle was pulling away from the former student’s arm by some sort of armored figure. It looked like he was just beginning his experiments on the poor girl with all the test tubes and a datapad.
The agent was ready to immediately act though she took a moment to calm down. She could not be sure if that armor or some sort of life support.
Worse there was some sort of machine that stood silently there over the trio. It had show signs of wear from where it was scuffed up in some sort of fight, but still it did not show any sign of movement. However judging by the way the Adda was keeping an eye on the motionless figure, it appeared that guard was here to keep an eye on the figure rather than the girl. The agent dropped back behind the crates, she was going to have to find out some sort distraction to get the Adda and preferably the guy in the armor out of here or at least not worried about the girl. If not she was going to have to walk behind the Adda and force him to surrender….

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
She looked around despite wishing to act immediately she still had the element of surprise on her side. The Adda patrols were more routine, lazy even and it had only been from employing one earlier as her eyes set upon a fire extinguisher where it seemed that the ship had a lot in place should a fire brake out. Not an abnormal amount mind you but a reasonable amount which indicated a sprinkler system in areas that could not easily be sealed off and vented by space … so their was probably sprinklers all about. Tough to tell by looking at the ceiling as they were hidden for aesthetic purposes.
Were there any fire alarms … trying to remember as that was not important at the time she might have seen one near the fire extinguisher. Looking at this one there was one near it, encase a fire was too extreme perhaps for a simple extinguisher to deal with.
An alarm might draw the soldier away, perhaps even the doctor too or if that machine was animate they could send it, that would leave the doctor and the Adda soldier which were probably easier to deal with especially since she had a chance to sneak up on the Adda. The doctor seemed to be unarmed and the more she looked the armor was probably some sort of pressure suit or life support seeing that he was unarmed.
“There will be changes dear, migraines but nothing you won't get use to in time ...” Quebos was speaking to her sister as he turned towards the datapad marking what he just did down. If she were going to pull an alarm it was best to do it nearby rather than here.

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
C-changes, m-migranes. What did you do to me? What did you put into me? The blue haired girl seemed to be terrified as she watched the strange man in the space suit make entries on the datapad. She was not sure where she was but she knew she was no longer on the island anymore.

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
The agent looked around desperately for something to distract the Adda and maybe be able to rescue Near by was a fire extinguisher, whoever provisioned this ship wanted to make sure there was a fire extinguisher nearby so that any fire could be dealt with in a timely manner. A quick scan of the ceiling did not give away locations for sprinklers, but the agent could not rule such systems out. The agent looked around for something else that could help in the situation.
It was then that the agent found what she was looking for, near the fire extinguisher was a fire alarm. The agent quickly pulled the fire alarm and moved away quietly. With luck some of the creatures would be pulled over here to investigate. And then she could rescue her sister.

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
She had soon discovered that the sprinklers were retractable and seemed to the eye to be part of the ceiling. They popped out when the alarm had been pulled spraying the area with a thin stream of foam. Quebos seemed annoyed given that some of the chemicals he had been working with had been left open and now ruined by the stream of foam.
The machine canted it's head to the ceiling, foam raining down on them though it looked on in utter fascination while the Adda guard moved to investigate.
“I'm going to need more chemicals now, such a waste of time.” a frustrated Quebos declared, the machine looking at him.
“Get them.”
“AFFIRMATIVE.” It had seemed as if the machine was waiting for a command and might not have been capable of independent thought as it looked back up to the falling foam as if distracted with it in some way … she could have been misunderstanding the machine too as it lumbered closer to the table and took account of the chemicals that it needed to gather before turning to go after pausing once more to gaze upward at the sprinklers again but it carried out the order issued to it and lumbered off.
She would be left with Quebos, her sister and the Adda who was now closer to her at the far end of the room, direct line of sight between Quebos and the Adda severed.

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Suddenly there was noise coming from the ceiling, Minerva looked up to see nozzles extended from their hidden positions along the ceiling. Almost at once they began spraying a thin foam over most areas attempting to fight a fire that did not exist. The suited alien seemed to be quite annoyed at what was going on.
However the machine finally began to move, looking up at the various locations that foam that was pouring out of. The Adda however, was more interested in trying to find the source of the alarm.
The suited alien seemed to be upset his little experiment was ruined and quickly ordered the machine to get more supplies.
The machine came to live as it began to make its way to the entrance from the lab. Minerva moved where she could not be scene by the robot, as it showed itself at least curious about the foam as it paused for a moment before it head out of the lab to gather the necessary supplies.
The agent now believed she had the advantage, the Adda had moved out of line of sight of the alien she assumed was Quebos. She quickly stood up and fired her rifle. It could only be set on stun, but she hoped that it would disable the Adda before he could react. That would just leave Quebos and he probably was not ready to deal with a trained agent.

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
For a moment the machine and Adda had been near one another though the Adda moved to the fire alarm and the machine continued onward. Popping up, Minerva would be amazed with how quick the Adda reacted to danger though it did not fare much better as it turned towards her, eyes wide and processing the attack but too slow to really react to it as it was hot with the rifle, his body going slack and falling to the ground with a twitch.
Quebos halted, hearing the discharge of the weapon and the Adda hitting the ground.
“Damn these conditions. Tell your boss I cannot work with them. Part of the agreement was a suitable lab, I get this half assed one and the five test subjects I specifically requested.” He complained as it was clear that he had thought something different occurred.
Perhaps he was thinking that the Adda slipped and discharged his weapon as he did so. It seemed that he was far more frustrate at the scenario then anything not yet aware that it was an agent present, or so it had seemed.

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
The Adda seemed to follow the machine for a moment before he turned to go investigate the fire alarm while the machine made its way out of the lab. It was then that Minerva made her move, she was shocked to see the Adda already reacting to her sudden movement. If she did not have her rifle at the ready, the alien would had the advantage. As it was it only took one blast to drop the dangerous alien.
As Minerva expected the figure in suit took notice of the shot she fired, however she did not expect the researcher would only dismiss it as some stupid action of the Adda. It made no difference in the agent’s action as she moved up to confront Quebos.
Sorry, he’s taking a dirt nap right now. I suggest you slowly go over and release the girl. Then you will tell me what you trying to do to her. She made sure the gun remained trained on him. And don’t try anything funny.

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
“Eh?” That voice, clearly it did not belong to Tinman or the Adda and he glanced back over his shoulder taking in what he could of the agent and noting that there was a rifle aimed at him between the shoulder blades.
A spike of nervousness shot through him but he was a very sensible creature in that he tried nothing.
“I am unarmed, don't shoot.” His movements had been slow and exaggerated as he moved with caution perhaps he was unaware that their was just the one setting on the gun.
He stood before the gem of a girl loosening her restraints and once that was done he removed those limbs from the leather restraints that secured her in place.
“I have done nothing extraordinary with her though the drug is suppose to impart Telepathic ability by enhancing memory …
“The test subjects could only be of certain genetic stalk and there was a control amongst them. It was meant to mutate the mind's ability and if successful was going to be used in other lifeforms once I could work out the genetic problems.
“I needed three types of subjects; a test subject, those with good memory and those with bad along with a control to see how the drug effected each group. As a result the drug was suppose to impart Telepathic properties too and enhance the memory of subjects and so it would be easier to see successful results in those with poor memories but I wished to ensure that it did nothing to impede those with good memory,” he explained though he did not mention as to why these five had been selected and those problems he had encountered with the drug thus far.

Re: Blue (for Minerva)
The alien in the suit did not seemed concerned at first as turned to face the agent. But as soon as he saw the rifle, he realized that the agent was all business. He quickly froze up now paying full attention to the agent who had a gun pointed at his back.
This alien seemed to not be a warrior, because he did not fight back like the Adda would have.
The alien soon began to move to respond to the redhead’s requests. Good. That’s it. Nice and slow. Don’t try anything funny and you won’t be harmed.
The alien did what he was told and he slowly began removing the restraints that kept the blue haired beauty tied to chair.
Ishtar, are you okay? Minerva just looked briefly at Ishtar before she refocused on the researcher. I need you Ishtar to get up of the table and then come over to me.
You gave her Telepathic ability by enhancing her memory? I think that is something extraordinary you did to her. She did not ask you to do that to her, she probably didn’t ask to leave the island either…
Ishtar found herself being freed by the man in the full body suit. He might have been an alien but the blue haired girl had no way to know for sure. As soon as her arms were free she began to rub her wrists. M-minerva? The young student could not believe that the female in the red space suit was her older sister. Where was she that Minerva was there and wearing some sort of military flight suit. Um…I think I am fine.
The young girl got up of the table and began to walk to her older sister. It all seemed so surreal, the blue haired girl was still clad in her Shokushu school uniform. Except this was nothing like the campus. The student rubbed her shoulder which was still slightly sore from where it had received the injection…
Okay you are going to tie yourself to that table. Just do all the straps but one that will leave one arm free. We will tie that last one down. The redhead kept her gun trained on the alien. Well make our escape while you lay here, so it’s a win-win for everyone. Just don’t do something stupid and this will all go well. Minerva looked briefly at her younger sister. Ishtar, get ready we are getting out of here.
(OOC: It should be noted by the reader that all of this is going on inside Minerva's head. And she does not yet realize her mind is being manipulated.)
