Background: Contrary to popular belief, June Morrell was not actually born in June. In fact, month or season seems to have very little to do with the name, seeing as her birthday is in December.

Her family is what anyone could expect of middle class America. Both parents work for the same mortgage firm; her father as a desk jockey and her mother as a secretary of sorts. Her two older siblings are perhaps a bit better off, with Joseph (the younger of the two) still in college and Victoria just starting a promising veterinary career. They were all born and raised in Boston with very few opportunities to vacation elsewhere, and though it was a mostly comfortable life, some (or rather, everyone but June) took to city living a bit better than others. Aside from a few incidents of bullies taking interest in a defenseless target, June was either too pretty for the boys or too creepy for the girls, and too clever for both. For you see, unlike most of the bookheads who remained victimized through childhood and merely fantasized, June actually put into practice the things she read. Mostly through deflection and avoidance, however, and her general stand-offish nature earned her no friends outside the adult population. In the end she was somewhere between teacher's pet and just... there.

Her incredible smarts not only resulted in skipping a grade, but also in earning a full scholarship to a rather prestigious School the likes of which her family would never have been able to afford otherwise. After a few incredibly dull years in the public school (and the chance to move away from the city) she was all too happy to accept.

Psychological Profile: Demonstrates mild OCD, mild mysophobia, acute bibliophilia, and self-diagnosed social anxiety, though none has been observed. Personality: June is generally meek and unassuming, but there is a clear, calculating intelligence behind those sapphire eyes.
