Aegir lead her along. There were some additional automated defenses though with Aegir it was merely a thought and a ave of Telekinetic energy to take care of them. He should have realized at how his son would have affected her after her capture though he had a knack of destroying what he truly appreciated just out of spite.

They made their way to Luna's ship that rested atop the station rather than docked with it. They had to reach it through a maintenance hatch in the ceiling and Luna was there waiting for them ushering the pair onto the hip.

“Where's Vanessa?”

Aegir simply shook hi head though feeling the spike of concern within her he continued.

Alive but Ven has her ...

Luna simply nodded. Getting Vanessa back wasn't the objective tough it was a bonus. There would be time for retrieving her in the future.

There would be work, the psychological damage there though Aegir remained close by.. For now he was Fafner, he was Master and he had that tangle of thought to shift through as they blasted away.





Aegir had departed before they got back to the base let off. For my next command, Nail, obey Luna until we meet again. He left her in the care of her fellow agent before departing, this matter a mere side trek for him as he sensed Luna's thoughts and just had to assist her in rescuing Nail.

As she was able to recount matters better she had realized that she had a monthly meeting to keep unless she just decided to wash her hands of the whole matter.




There was a debriefing of her last assignment … another agent had gone looking for her and ended up missing (though later recovered). She had been taken off of active duty for awhile and treated by the best shrinks hat the Directorate could supply.

During her slow recovery as the days past and she had a chance o reflect back on matters she had learned that it was Aegir and not Fafner that had showed up at the end. There was some hope that whatever Fafner did to track her that he had undone but she could not be certain
