"After what you said, I kind of lost my original third question... The imagery just over powered my train of thought so I used that... sorry."
I hung me head in shame I felt bad to have had to resort to using such an impossible scenario... Then he showed me what it was... it looked impossible but, I was watching it happen; the red sea had been a natural phenomena but; there was no wind, and the currents appeared to be normal nothing seemed out of place but him; it was him doing it. I just stared in disbelief I even went as far as to check my glasses for cracks. My eyes had to be lying to me... but, I felt fine; it wasn't even a hallucination.

"How...?"
I managed to say a small portion of my full sentence, the rest got lost to my own amazement.

"I told you the theroies I had before hand about magic, it would seem I would be correct wouldn't it, except my clan practiced Druidic magic, hidden away from the rest you could say." I Tell her. It was only half true, I didn't think the girl was ready to see my true form yet and I did so enjoy her presecence. "I wish to mix the two, but I need a second person a partnar to help me with this experiment to make sure I don't lose my way. Your the smartest girl I've meet in a long time. I wanted to ask you." I tell her.

Druidic... druids had been considered close to nature enough so to have it listen to certain comands at least in legend... I couldn't believe I was actually meeting one. His proposal however... I wasn't sure what to say, If it worked... maybe I could request a bit of training; modify it to my dream of designing a device to surpass the light barrier... prove certain theoretical physics possibilities... I placed my hand on my chin to think and then stood dusting the sand off my legs before nodding.

"As long as it isn't too dangerous I don't see why not."
I smiled politely reaching out with my hand as a gesture of accepting his offer formally.

I take her hand. "I'm glad to have you on board. Perhaps I can see you in some of those fox outfits eventually." I tell her teasing her a bit. "So care to enjoy the sunset or would you like me to escort you back to the dorm so we can get to work early tommorow?" I ask her.

"The dorms; quicker I'm away from the beach the better... or if you'd rather; We could start a few tests now. I'd be to excited to sleep knowing the breakthroughs this could bring about."

The memories were bitter and the bruise to my pride resurfacing slightly i felt a shiver travel down my spine. I was prone to this manner of excitement; truth be told it was the closest i'd normally felt to sexual arousal in my life. the thought of furthering mankind; bringing it closer to a Utopian society and ending suffering. was more than enough to make me a little giddy. I hoped he'd decide to start now; the moon she saw begin to come into view was full or nearly so at the least. My early thoughts about magic when i was a little girl I always read magic worked better with the light of a full moon or the darkness of a new moon.

"Hmmm, well I suppose I could write you up an exuse." I tell her as I suddenly reach out and pull her into my body hugging her against my exposed chest. "Trust me." I tell her as flower grows out from the sand then it increases it's size by at least a hundred fold and swallows us up. Then it opens up again and were in a different place the woods as we stand outside a grove of trees.

"Come now." I tell her as I walk into the grove. We walked through that grove and as soon as we passed through the trees an amazing sight met her eyes. The trees somehow blocked it from the outside. A massive tree stood there and by massive I meant the tree went into the sky past the clouds and the top well out of sight. It was amazing if not for these trees it was obvious you could see this tree anyway from the Island. Closer inspection revealed that there was writing on it. “Tosva Kon Solck.” I say out loud as a door opens up.

Walking inside she finds it’s hallowed out and besides the occasionally branch that pokes out and the rings on the wood it looked like a house molded out of wood. There were even stairs leading up and down which must have been a bitch to climb. The room we were currently in seemed to be a living room with chair with cushions and a glass table along with doors leading to other rooms. “Welcome to my home.” I tell Erica.

He caught me by complete surprise when he pulled me close; In fact I had to resist punching him in the face... it wasn't an easy feat but, It was rewarding that I didn't. I gasped with a slight hint of fear as the flower closed around us; the first thought to pop into my head was that he was using his magic to take advantage of me this quickly changed when we arrived at our destination. I couldn't think of any more beautiful sight as I strained my eyes slightly trying to see the top. It was a futile effort; it had to go into the upper atmosphere; how the hell I hadn't seen it before was far beyond my knowledge.

I walked loser to the tree to examine the bark; the leaves on the lowest branches, none of them seemed anything close to the redwood; or any other of the large tree breeds; in no books and during none of my own explorations had I seen anything even close to this. I examined the writings; they too didn't match anything I'd ever seen. Then I heard my host speak and watched as the tree seemed to open; I followed him in.

"You live here?! It has to be wonderful to live so close with nature; learning the inner workings of nature first hand."
He had pretty good taste in furniture; though for some reason I felt that he had a little more than just work in mind; It was a silly thought seeing as he hadn't expressed any interest in anything beyond seeing me in my fox get up... which I did have with me... though I wouldn't tell him that.

"Yes, grew and formed it myself, took about a week for the nessecray stuff to be grown, after that it just expands on it's own." I tell her. "To the right is my bedroom, to the left is the kitchen/dinning room. The basement is where I have my lab, do you want some tea first or shall we get right to it?" I ask her as I couldn't help but be glad by her reaction. She may be genusis but she overly curious, perhaps that was our failing after all as I too was curious as I waited for her answer.

I felt slightly unnerved when the first room he mentioned was his bedroom. It the thoughts of what his mind might be doing pass then smiled slightly scratching my neck I answered.
"Tea would be nice, Doesn't really matter what brew."

A nice warm cup of tea to get my mind back on track and maybe to talk about what exactly they'd be doing and what they'd be trying to accomplish. I placed my shoes calmly on the ground next to the entrance before pulling my socks back on.before moving further in closer to Keemari letting him lead the way through his home.

A good tea set is then brought into the living room area by the tree itself via vines and branches while I go into the kitchen and brew some up and bring it in. "I think my little secret beats your fox girl persona by the way." I tell her. I was still on the fence on whether to take my time with this lovely girl and have her help me if possible or to simply end this now. I was defintly leaning towards prolonging it as I pour her some tea.

"Well as you can see my expertise is with nature magic, I was thinking with gentic manpulation, gene splicing, and experimations on various elements would could enhance or find new methods of science. Perhaps even a new science all together." I tell her as I pour the tea and hand her a cup. "My own special blend." I tell her as I sip mine.

I took a deep breath of the tea taking in the scent deeply before taking a sip. it was a unique taste; I assumed he himself had crafted the leaves and flowers with his unique gift.

"genetic manipulation... gene splicing... would be wonderful creating vegetables that could survive like a cactus or a thundra moss; growing in desolate regions and the arctic; it would finally end world hunger... and of course ending disease as we know it... and then theres always the posibilities of cosmetic alterations to the human genome..."

I paused thinking about his words nature; it was a large term that could include many things I took another sip of the tea before asking my question.
"when you say nature; do you mean just the earth and life or anything that exists within as a natural part of the universe?"

"Hmm, not many would catch onto the difference, so let me break down to you Erica. In the druidic art of magic there are six schools dealing with specfic elements. You might think of it like schools of martial arts if you want. There is earth, wood, fire, water, wind, and metal. Each it's own unique element. Let me try and explain them as refering to how the masters of such arts are.

Water Style- A water druid is at his most powerful on or near a water source. Water is fluid you cannot slice or bind it. It is the art of push and give, the cleanser the object that gives life to everything. Without it life would cease, it is abundant yet it is rare, a mystery even to the druids who use it. It’s true depth lost to all those who simply use it. Only true masters can understand it. The style of combat requires water so most druids keep some water source hidden on them some can actually materialize it from the air. The more advanced can change the temperature at will making it turn to ice or steam. That in mind they can also change the density of the water making excellent entangles where very few attacks actually affect them.

The Fire Druid burn wiht heat, intensity, the pure power of fire. Nothing is quite as powerful as fire, an element born in nature that powers our very planet be it the far away sun that heats us or the fire that comes from the center of the earth or the fire or the fire that flows through the sky no other element on the planet is quite as destructive as fire. It is both the end and beginning, death and rebirth. A fire druid is mostly known for having a fierce intensity that burns as brightly as his/her spells. Their spells are also the hardest to defend against in the traditional sense since most armor will not stop them. Also fire constantly surrounds them making it hard to fight them at times in close quarters.

The Earth Drud is Calm, devout, life giving. Earth the element of rebirth and life, from it everything comes from it, that which gives us life, death, weakness and strength. Without we would not be here, yet it is benevolent, uncaring, it simple stays there and provides us with the steady floor we need to stand on and move forward. An earth druid has close ties to the very land and with his powers can enrich the soil to enhance the plants, he will also most likely be able to control one other element, and the common one is wood. But this is true of Earth, earth is the catalyst element. Without, none of the other elements would or could work together. The only expectation to this rule might be wind. Wood could not grow and prosper, fire would rain supreme burning away everything without the shield of the earth to keep it in place, water would flow without purpose, metal would be unable to hide itself and take the valuable nutrients it needs from the deep core of the earth.

The Wood druid relies much on the art of wood is that of a scientist in the truest sense for a druid’s nature. In this wonderful world there exists an infinite number of plants to research, to develop, to breed into existence. Every wood druid, every master wood druid realizes that he knows next to nothing about the plants of this world, from the lowly grass to the might trees, a wood druid controls them, yet he doesn’t. When they truly realize this in the depths of there heart then they are truly ready to learn. Every plant has a purpose; they have many purposes depending on how they are used. The wood of the planet is always growing always becoming more intelligent as it keeps things in balance and does exactly what it was meant to.

The Air Druid is Freedom in it's truest feel of an air druid. They hardly ever stay in the same place for very long and continue to move about the world, letting the currents of destiny take them where they want. The style of air is perhaps the easiest to learn the basics, however it is an area of infinite growth, to truly grasp them you must have great potential to do so and the carefree attitude along with an Iron will.

Now a metal druid taps deep into the earth and brings forth live minerals. Compared to the minerals that occasionally grow to the surface and soon die without the right stimulation. Live minerals when properly prepared are much stronger then the ones mined. Metal Druids forge many strong suits of armor known for increasing ones poteintal and manipulation of metal. Basically they use the metals and jewels to augment a persons base powers while controlling it. Like controlling weapons such as making them float so hands are unnecessary leading to multiple weapons or even a form of Robotics.


"Now that is a lot to take in, but know this, that it usually takes a person years, even decades to learn just one of the arts and even longer to perfect it. I am a master of all six schools." I tell her as I was very serious as I discussed this with her.

I took it all in slowly; my mind organizing it quite nicely into near stacks. With a deep sigh as I finished the tea I nodded my head in understanding however my expression was one of curiosity now as I wondered how old Keemari really was to have mastered six difficult practices.
"You're much older than you look aren't you... is it the magic that allows that? or is it something else? either way I won't judge you... even if you don't want to answer."

I voiced my curiosity not expecting an answer; I half expect him to kick me out and never speak to me again... something I definitely didn't wish to happen; I never had someone on equal footing with myself to talk to and losing that was unthinkable.

I smirk at her as I get up and go over to a normal looking flower growing out of the tree. "See this flower here, you figure out it's secret and I'll not only answer that question, but many of the others that will come out because of it." I tell her as my answer. "You are very curious like the fox. I like that." I then finish my tea. "I'll be in the lab when your ready." I tell her.

(That flower is located all over the Island, it's a key nessicity for his illusion to be mantined.)

After Keemari left; I too stood and looked at the flower, touched it's petals lightly and smelled it; it seemed no different from any other flower I knew of; I had seen it before... hundreds of them in fact since I arrived at the island, no matter how I looked at it it seemed normal... I became slightly frustrated and went to rip a petal off before i stopped myself.

"I shouldn't take out my frustration at my inability on a poor defenseless flower..."

I decided seconds before I did the deed. I smiled to it as if it was smart enough to understand. I believed it was anyway; they did scream when damaged and grow better when sung to... who was to say they didn't understand us?

"Too bad you don't know English or I'd ask you..."
I shrugged slightly and sang to it for a minute; it was a sweet sounding tune with no true words.
