Background: The Kesey family had an unusual ability to take on abilities resembling mythological beasts. These abilities varied from person to person. It allowed the Kesey family to survive in ancient times. However, human innovations eventually meant that the family had less of need to possess these abilities. With each passing generation, less and less possessed unique abilities. Only once in a generation would they experience someone with strange abilities. It seemed as though the Kesey family would forever lose their abilities.

When Lexa was born, the family had actually expected triplets. For some reason, only Lexa was born. It was as if the two other girls had... suddenly vanished. They didn't think too much of it and instead rejoiced that they had gained another family member. Lexa seemed like an ordinary girl growing up. She dressed up like a princess and played with dolls like any other girl. When she was 7, Lexa discovered her families' history of mythological powers. It surprised her. Currently, no one in her family had inherited mythological abilities.

After she overheard a conversation between her parents no one late night, Lexa discovered that the reason why she had so many siblings and cousins was... because the family desperately wanted to produce a child with powers. The young Lexa became depressed and had become upset that she was nothing more than a "failed child". Suddenly, Lexa became increasingly shy. She didn't want to pass her days playing with dolls or the girls in her neighborhood anymore. The family tried to find out what was wrong with her, showering Lexa with attention. At some point, it seemed as if Lexa acted out to gain the attention of the family.

One day, Lexa was sent to visit her cousins. Her parents hoped that she would become happier after playing with children her age. While Lexa spent an eventful day with her cousins, she returned home only to see her home was set ablaze. It took Lexa several years to recover from that incident. She had always wondered if things would have gone differently if she was able to have control. Lexa seemed to act out under the care of her aunt and uncle several times. They had then assumed that Lexa suffered from multiple personality disorder. Her mood swings grew worse and worse. It met its climax when she argued with her uncle over dinner, and suddenly... transformed. The delicate black-haired girl was replaced by a slightly taller blonde-haired woman. It was at that moment that the uncle realized she had a mythological ability. The uncle studied Lexa from then out for a few years. On one late night, the uncle discovered what Lexa's ability truly was.

Lexa possessed the abilities similar to a hydra. The more she was hurt, the more "heads", or separate people would be born inside of her. Alexis, the blonde alter-ego, was born after Lexa discovered that her purpose in life was to possess the ancient Kesey powers, and her second alter ego, Valentina, came after she saw her family die in the house fire. The uncle realized that if Lexa suffered through another tragic event, she would surely divide and create a third alter-ego. If that occurred, then he would fear for Lexa's sanity.

Lexa vowed never to let herself suffer through a third tragic event. Instead, she decided that she would hunt down the person that had burned down her home. She tracked it down to a woman simply nicknamed, "D". And her last known location? Shokushu.

Valentina Kesey: The mischievous alter-ego of Lexa. She loves to wear fancy clothing. Valentina also likes to tease others, whether they are boys or girls. She can convert small amounts of water and convert it into poison. She can manipulate the poisoned water. The poison is not life-threatening. It numbs its opponents and only slightly harms them.

Finally finished Lexa!

Wow multiple personalities on both the inside and out. Very creative. I love it. Just wondering how that will work with the inhibitors on the island? Would love to introduce her to the darker side and see what happens in the throws of bondage or passion. Interesting character and I bid her/them welcome.

Oh, that ability was meant to be more a disguise technique. But I see what you mean. I'll edit it.

I'm definitely looking forward to getting to know every part of Lexa. How well do the different versions get along? I assume they all agree on her main goal, but do they generally follow through with what the last one was doing after a switch?

Good questions! In terms of how well they get along with each other... a good comparison would be like how twins act around one another. They may occasionally get annoyed, but for the most part don't mind the other. Alexis and Valentina are fine, but Lexa may harbor some negative feelings towards Alexis and Valentina. It was originally Lexa's body, after all.

They all agree on the same goal, though.

And since each of the "personalities" are a bit different from each other, they won't follow along with what the last one was doing. Maybe Lexa would be very in-tune with playing volleyball, but if she were to switch to Alexis, then Alexis might be bored and go do something else.
