Abdul took in all the information as he considered the options that Tori would go through. He considered Nicodemus again and assuming he had been the strongest of her minions then she would seek to counter him in some way. Given what was on line here he did not put it past her as far as seeking assistance from her sister on the Shadow of Llyndoria for a piece of the action, especially if Bryne was being difficult.

He kept his theories to himself though and got an exact location in Brindel before transporting them there via his magic, well close enough. He used another enchantment to announce their presence before coming into the camp where everyone was with the exception of Spencer.

“Greetings, I am Abdul, former Master of the Flame Serpent. I understand that you have a problem concerning the Forgotten Four and Tori. And I have no doubt that you are serious about this but I could not help but consider that you may be thinking too much about revenge Nicodemus.

“Now, I doubt that Tori can lay claim to having anyone of your ability. She has Efreeti allies, Goblins and Ogres. Efreeti are tough though you have Masters of the Elements and can deal with them. Goblins and Ogres though … they would be a sinch. She was keeping you on the Shadow of Carrion I understand, so she may have a few Golems to watch out for. But instead of targeting them why not take the Blue Shrine itself? If you can open the vault you can destroy or remove the goodies stored there and place them elsewhere or perhaps even sabotage the means of opening the vault in the first place.”

“Sabotage? As if, the magic on that place -”

And Abdul cut off Gale as if he understood how to deal with her type turning the issue back on her, playing with her pride. “What? You cannot do such a simple matter with all the power at your disposal. And assisted by the others as well? It should be easier than taking out members of the fabled Forgotten Four, but if you can't do it ...”

“Oh! We can do it buddy! Who's with me or do I have to do this by myself?”

Perhaps he misread the matter with Gale a bit though there had been a lot of stunned people present the first to speak up was a bit surprising.

“I'm game,” Roc answered already thinking about the possible defenses. The Golems, if there, would be the toughest challenge.

She hadn't forgotten about Spencer and figured he had been active in his attempts to disrupt the Forgotten Four further by the time they'd reached Abdul and departed from Nod, hoping it might rupture their already volatile bond as allies further by sowing distrust among their ranks. Surely it'd keep him out of trouble for a little while, if anything.

Now the three new arrivals met up with the others and her father relayed the information which lingered in the back of his mind although Flame wasn't quite in favor of the first option. In essence claiming any powerful items within for themselves offered grounds for disagreement and greed whilst the same could be applied to taking them elsewhere which required a certain amount of trust regarding the people involved unless their memories were wiped of the exact location somehow. Aside from that, the young sorceress feared the very act of unsealing the shrine itself would have unpredictable repercussions, after all many details about such mythical places were given to her by others and not part of her own knowledge.

Flame couldn't afford to let her guard down either and thought of his plan as a little worrying, almost deceitful in the grand scheme of things even though the one to suggest it was her father. It was foolish not to consider any suggestion along those lines as somewhat strange due to their attempts to keep the Blue Shrine and its contents sealed away in the first place. Saving Tori work by simply heading to the shrine of their own volition and opening it for her only to be taken by surprise. She remained wary and would have to see how everything worked out.

Sabotage, on the other hand, sounded far more appealing. None of the magical artifacts or whatever else was hidden away within the Blue Shrine wound up in anyone's possession, the location all but useless for those incapable of either altering the means of opening the vault or having power equal to everyone involved in changing it in the first place. Flame wondered how they might accomplish such an incredible feat, but then again they had done things she deemed nearly impossible from the get go.

"You can count me in." Whether for better or for worse, the red head glanced at Gale in that instant and recounted the incident back in Carrion, how Murk overpowered the two of them thanks to one of her intoxication induced surges of courage. She would not make that mistake again although her mind was elsewhere the moment she managed to brush off the attention upon her after accepting Abdul's proposal.

Nicodemus had yet to say a word and Flame figured that agreeing on an alternative didn't earn her any points, but staying focused on the objective and not revenge had been vital to their success lest he in particular lost himself to temptation, the urge to destroy the witch as he'd failed to do all those years ago. It probably wasn't solely about revenge and Flame hated to admit that he had the right idea in mind, that taking her life wasn't simply an act of vengeance alone but rather a discontinuation of all the suffering she'd caused in the last century.

But it felt infinitely better to risk earning his hatred than risking the possibility of losing him in a premature engagement forever hence Flame wished to commit her power to whatever Abdul proposed.

Abdul posed two courses of action. Flame may have had reservations about the first course of action but he had offered two which were simpler to deal with. Three were in on the plan though both Typhoon and Nicodemus said nothing. Typhoon seemed to be getting a read on the situation and Nicodemus had been looking for a deeper meaning behind this. He had promised Flame not to involve himself with Tori too soon and yet that temptation was being dangled before him and he had been considering if this was a trick to test that resolve in some fashion.

“I'm out,” that grabbed attention as eyes went to Typhoon who simply held up a hand as if that was going to silence protests. “Let me explain.”

“Shoot,” Roc studied the human suspiciously.

“If we are all at the Blue Shrine and Tori manages to recapture us then we are all conveniently on hand to open the shrine but if one or two of us are absent then she cannot immediately open the shrine.”

“Makes sense. Though we can still sabotage the shrine Typhoon makes a valid point. In addition we know Tori will try to undo what we did so we have to thwart her efforts for a few days at least, should be easy enough. Then we can attack and neutralize this threat.”

“By neutralize?”

“Kill if we must but taking her alive is preferred. By this time I should have recovered enough to the point where capturing her would be easy. There is still the Forgotten Four to consider. Even if we deal with Tori we will still have to deal with them. For that I have something in mind but I will need to speak with Flame about it first ...”

He waited for everyone to clear out and leave them alone before he glance once over his shoulder then walked to her, his hands going to her waist, his lips pressing against her own. “I have missed you.”

It was probably for the best not to march on the Blue Shrine altogether, that much Flame and the others had to agree on. With the risk of capture and alternatives involved, it appeared they unanimously voted in favor of calling off their assault although for one reason or another her beloved angel decided to have a private chat with the fiery sorceress, making her wonder as to what exactly he was referring to. Everyone cleared out, leaving them alone, and in the same instant as Nicodemus glanced over to the lone woman, she could feel how her heart rate ascended to new heights.

Nicodemus approached and Flame experienced a familiar flare of impending thirst for his touch and an inevitable rush of excitement, the temptation to be close to him once more too much to bear although her sudden predicament froze the buxom ruby gemstone in place, letting him get close as his hands sweep along the shapely outskirts of her slim waist. "I'm beyond happy to be in your arms again, but I guess that's the only good aspect of leaving you behind .. knowing that I'll come back sooner or later." To a degree he had but there was only so much that he could have after all.

“Us. Our child. Our future. I suppose there is not enough time to get into all of that and I did have other matters in mind so I will keep this brief. Tori stole your memories. What if we stole her's and the Forgotten Four to forget about the Blue Shrine? I do not know if doing so is feasible but … well, I'll come back to that.”

She was pleased to have him back in her arms and couldn't care less about leaving again although a part of Flame figured that moment would surely come.
