Monique had waited on that rook to move, then she takes her rook down to take the first pawn in line of "the wall"

Alucard chuckled and moved another pawn to add another link to the wall. The alien obviously did not care about the loss, or did not act like it.

She moves her last bishop now, to take the next pawn, setting it up into a position to go up the wall backwards tanking each pawn

Alucard nonchalantly moved its knight. The new position it took would threaten Monique's bishop if she took the next pawn in line.

Monique watches him and she moves her queen to be lined up with the pawn her bishop could take. She was surprised that a beast could play chess.

Alucard smirked at her. "Getting worried?" the alien asked menacingly. It moved its other bishop now to threaten the same square as the knight did.

Monique hrms at the beast, she was seeing his defense shift to protect that pawn wall..so she reaches and brings her other rook out, moving it up a little till its behind her own pawn, and thus free to roam the board.

"Of course you're worried," Alucard said, not waiting for her to give a real answer. "After all, if you lose, you're going to get yourself eaten." The alien moved another pawn into the pawn wall formation.

Monique growls at the beast, she leans back to survey the board better..There she seen a hole in his defenses, and after looking from every angle..she moves her knight past the defenses and grins.."Check."

Alucard grinned and moved its king. "Very good. For someone who's going to be eaten soon, you play well."

Monique frowns, she thought she had him there and she glares at him.."I'm not going to be eaten."

"Ha!" said Alucard, taking the knight. This, however, left another piece in mild jeopardy.

Monique takes the piece he left open, frowning slightly as she does, trying to figure a way to get away from the monster.

Alucard looked at her analytically. It moved another piece, watching the student's face to see her reaction. The yellow eyes looked at her chocolate-brown skin hungrily.
