A rocket ship silently traveled through dark space. The ship was sent to recover a communications jammer from a desert planet. It was a valuable piece of technology for the ADD. Any unfortunate ship that came by would lose all communication when passing by the jammer. Ships were known to 'disappear' when running into this intergalactic trap. Though the jammer was very useful, its range was poor. The ship would have to sail in close proximity to the jammer in order for it to function properly.

Many of the ADD agents were busy fighting the alien threat. So, they sent Cece to retrieve it. Cece was not a skilled fighter, but she was a skilled mechanic. The planet wasn't a home for known aliens, so that made the Texas girl perfect for the job.

"Get on the planet, grab the jammer, get off." Cece repeated to herself quietly as she waited in her small ship. "You sound focused," a voice spoke over the radio. "Sounds about right! Easy mission, if I do say so myself." Cece replied. Just coming into view of the cockpit was a large orange planet. "I'll have to talk to you later. I'm fixin' to land."
"Huh?"
"I'm about to land."
"Oh, why didn't you just say that? ...Anyways, you're coming close to the jammer. Communications will be cut in T-minus twenty seconds. Report back in four hours or we'll send a rescue crew out"
"I'll make it out! This should be simple enough."

The small space ship tore through the atmosphere, and began to glow bright red. Cece reached over and hit a few buttons and switches, allowing the ship to slow its descent. The land was filled with grains of sand, so it made finding the communications jammer relatively easy. Sand had blown the jammer over so that the large radio dish was the only thing sticking out. Still, it was by no means small. The ship landed near the buried structure, and Cece got out of the ship. She held up a hand to shield her eyes from the bright star that illuminated this planet. "The air seems breathable. The heat reminds me of back home." Cece skipped on over to the jammer. There were cracks all over it. Cece stepped on the radio dish with her boot. "Hmm...still sturdy enough to bring back."

The communication deadzone was known by most travelers and pirates. It was not a particularly large area of space so most avoid more on accident than anything else. Most had little use to fly close to the desert planet where the jammer resides. If anyone lived on the planet they most likely lived underground and only came to the surface when it was dark assuming they had any reason to come to the surface in the first place.

This left Cece alone on the planet in its sweltering heat. Nothing could be seen for miles in any direction. It was just her and the giant hunk of metal. The large jammer would not be easy to move due to its size. But, Cece had time to dismantle the device into smaller more manageable parts. It was still alot of work under the hot sun and equally hot metal pieces. With the jammer shut down, the ADD agent could send a report back to the comms officer she was speaking with earlier. Things were going smoothly, an easy in and out mission.

A few more hours passed and Cece had finished reporting in that she had fully dismantled the jammer. Now it was time to head back. The tech would be useful to the ADD and now this section of space was no longer a communication dead zone.

The ship took off, escaping the planet's gravitational pull. It was then that the ship's scanners picked up three ships closing in on her position. They seemed to be small pirate fighters. Their weapons were charged and they began to open fire on Cece. The weapons seemed to be ion based, designed to short and disable a ship rather than destroy it. If too many shots connect, Cece would be dead in the water.

She decided that she didn't want to waste more time than she should. While the blistering heat reminded her of summer days back on Texas, she wasn't too excited about the mission. Now, if she was told to improve the jammer, then she might have been interested. But no use complaining now. Cece returned to her ship to grab a rather large toolbox. She returned to the jammer and found a wrench. After skillfully twirling it in her hand a few times, she knelt down and began to disassemble the jammer.

Two hours. That was all the Texas girl needed to properly take it apart. She loaded up the fragments and headed off the fiery planet as soon as she could. "Oh good, you're back. No problems, I presume?" a voice chimed in. "Not one. I'm routing back to the station." Cece sighed. She glanced down to notice something appearing on her scanner. The design of the ships told her that it wasn't just some ADD ships flying by. There was no reason for anyone to be in this star system - unless if they wanted something from it. "Hey... send for help if any communication is lost." she whispered into the mic.

"Huh? Cece, what's going on?" the confused voice asked.

Cece pulled her ship upwards in an attempt to make her a harder target. She moved her ship in zig-zags. The young girl bit her lip and tried to accelerate out of view of the space ships. But a single shot connected directly at the center of her ship. The engines stopped, and Cece flew onto the ground from the sudden stop of the ship. "A-ahh!" Her head smacked onto the ground, temporarily blacking out the ADD agent. There the girl laid, unconscious from her pathetic first encounter with space pirates. The ship lingered in empty space as the pirate ships moved closer to their intended target.

Cece would recover after a time, finding herself still in her own ship. All primary systems were off line but the agent could feel herself moving. Looking out through the cockpit revealed the ships that attacked her and the cables they were using to tow her to a new location.
With comms down, there was no way for Cece to call for help. Unless she could figure out a way to fixed her now fried ship, she had no choice but to wait lest she decides to abandon ship.

A large luxury cruiser came into view as the trio of fighters tugged the ADD ship over to the hangar bay. There, Cece would see large lizardman standing guard while her ship was locked down there in the middle of the bay. The creatures closed in, seeking a way to pry open the doors. Cece had some weapons on board her ship but was it enough to fight her way out of this mess?

Boy, did Cece mess up. In fact, she was wondering how she wasn't dead yet. She blinked, and forced herself off the ground. "O-oww..." The light-haired girl groaned. She rubbed the top of her head and stammered to her feet like a drunk person. Her mind was still hazy, and it was hard for her to think for a moment. The backup lights of the ship were on, but the ship was overall consumed by darkness. When she caught sight of the cables, the girl's eyes widened. "W-wait, no, no, no!" She ran over to the control and hit a few switches and entered in some commands. She had to call back! But none of her commands went through. She slammed on the dashboard in anger.

She squealed as soon as the luxury cruiser came into view. "Great..." Cece groaned as she made her way over to the weapons cache. The weapons cache had her favorite pair of dual pistols. She hadn't used them for a long while, and a bit of cosmic dust had accumulated on the handle. She dusted them off and strapped a row of extra magazines around her hips. She came over to the escape pod and let out a sigh. Here goes nothing.

When the ship was brought into the cruiser and settled down, some of the lizardmen began to pry at the door. It would take them a while, but they'd finally get it open. At that moment, when Cece determined they would be most caught off, she activated the escape pod. It launched out of her ship and needled into the ceiling of the hanger bay. The door would immediately open, and with it, a few sparks of light. Lasers fired out at several lizardmen. Surely such a tactic would catch them off-guard. "Well, I'll be! Mighty big iguanas here!" She chuckled insultingly. She pressed herself against the inside of the escape pod to hide herself from any possible attack that came from... well, the only way to shoot out. Cece held a hand out and shot blindly with her laser pistol, hoping that she would land a shot on a few of the lizardmen below. "I ain't too bad for a notice fighter, aren't I?"

With brute force, the Saurians tore open the shuttle doors only to have the escape pod release into the ceiling above. Cece opened fire with both laser pistols, peppering the lizardmen with raw energy. The scales of those that were hit sizzled and smoked a bit. They hissed their annoyance as they looked up at the pod now high above them. But, they did not seem to be severely harmed by the small arms fire. Saurians were not smart and had practically no skill with any advanced weapons. But they were strong, fast, and their scales could easily absorb anything short of heavy or specialized arms.

Cece had the high ground but her pistols simply were not enough to take down these hulking scaled beasts. Doors opened and human women began to file in. They wore tight revealing attire but were carrying blaster rifles in hand. What were humans doing on this alien ship? Cece would not have time to consider that question as her own species suddenly opened fire on the pod. They kept Cece suppressed while the lizardmen begin to carry out pieces of the dismantled jammer.

The firing was persistent with pairs of women trading off to reload while another pair fires. When the jammer was unloaded from the ADD ship, the girls aimed a bit higher with their shots, trying to dislodge the pod from the ceiling. If successful, they would slowly move in to apprehend the resisting ADD agent.

She kept herself sheltered inside the pod and tried to activate the communications from within the escape pod. "Come on...! Come on!" She yelled at the machine. Suddenly, she heard the firing of lasers once more. She glanced outside for a moment and caught sight of a few female agents attacking her. Lizardmen and humans? What an unlikely combination. The light-haired girl turned her attention back to the machine. She could feel her escape pod tilting, as if it was slowly becoming dislodged from the ceiling. "N-no!" She panicked and hurried sorting through the messy menus and tried to get her system working again.

There was another tilt in the escape pod.

Cece slammed her hands against the machine. It wasn't going to work. She grabbed onto the side handles and closed her eyes. The escape pod immediately fell to the ground. Before anything else would happen, the Texan girl would step out of the escape pod with both her hands up. "F-fine, ya'll got me." She saw the jammer transported by lizardmen out of the corner of her eyes. So that was what they were after. She had to think fast. "That jammer there is ADD property. You best be letting me and the jammer go." The agent's emerald eyes scanned the room in an attempt to find the leader.

The pod came crashing down on top of the ADD vessel and tumbled onto the hangar floor. Agent Breimann had little chance of escaping from this mess now. Why were human females working with these monsters? Cece surrendered to the superior force. Hands up, she stepped out of the pod only to be roughly grabbed by a Saurian. "You are now Mistress Vespira's possession," the woman stated calmly, "You will obey all commands given to the best of your ability and answer all questions truthfully. Now, follow me."

The collar hummed to life upon hearing the woman's commands. If Cece hesitated, pain would shoot through her spine until she obeyed and started following the other woman.
