He was effectively unarmed as he knew that his weapon would do little and all of Claw's had been knocked off line too, at least any that would help. “We run!” Get out of here and regroup but that thing wasn't slowing down!

It had exhibited that it had a degree of artificial intelligence guarding vulnerable areas even if the thing seemed like a brute marching forward though given what he had seen it shrug off it was like seeing Claw in action, no, worse for as a machine it would feel no pain what so ever and had no fear.

“LET HER GO!” He rushed toward the creature though there may be a chance he whipped the knife at the head of the thing and slid between it's legs dashing towards one of Levi's discarded guns.

Perhaps it was more vulnerable from the back, yes, that was it!

“The legs! Take out the legs!” It had rockets and had to have fuel for those rockets. It did not seem to have repulsor technology given the thermal imaging it probably used rockets and had at least some fuel still at the legs.

The machine seemed to tangle up with Levi's arm and helmet, another manipulator slamming into her chest with a great deal of force despite the armor that she wore. Casually it pointed behind it glancing toward Gizmo with the intent of using it's flame thrower but nothing happened.

FLAME THROWER OFF LINE … ARMING GRENADE LAUNCHER.

It twisted using the other arm where the grenade launcher was fixed. It used the manipulators to struggle with Levi as it's attention seemed to be on disabling Gizmo before truly dealing with the entangled female.

It was a stuggle as Red was grappled by her helmet, lifting her off tge ground legs kicking whie another grapple cabel lashed out and crushed te pistol in her hand as it exploded ina showr of sparks befor it used another to slam into Reds protected chest with a great deal of force effctivly knocking the wind out of her as she grunted int pain over the comm. Her arm wasnt as nearly as thick as Claw's and she might even have a brusied rib from that heavy handed smack or shoukd she say cable?

"Urgh Put me dwn!" Red shouted in anger as she stuggled kicking and yelling, a hand tight gripping tat strong metalic tenticle keeping her aloft as Gizmo appeared to slip through its legs distracting it for the momment as the metal bastard turned in that direction.

It gave Red the oppertunity to slip out of that tight grip as she twisted her body in away and managed to unlock her helmet with a hiss of escaping air from the seal of her suit. Letting Red drop to her feet and hen to one knee infront of the tinman, leaving it holding onky her helmet in its clawed metalic grasp.

It was also fast as Red dropped quickly to one knee, her long silver white hair spilling over her back from the comfines of her concealing helmet befor the young pirate sharply gazed up at the robot causing her and her partner so much trouble with two very erritated and angry bright red eyes befor she quickly tossed a singe round object from the belt tightly hugging her hips under the machines left leg and most likly its keft side booser jet as Red quickly rolled to her side away from the coming explosion

"GIZMO!! GEY DONE!!" Red shouted as she took her cover, covering her young head to protect her sef from the coming frag explosion centered under the tin mans left foot.

It used the grenade launcher only because it had processed that Gizmo had not yet sealed the armor with the kit Levi gave him and that it would have some effect as a sizzling sound emitted before a popping one. A blueish white light fired from the grenade causing Gizmo to drop at the same time Red had yelled to him to drop down.

The machine casually turning around having processed the sound of her dropping to the ground and her yell though those few remaining lights seemed to process her anew.

And then there was the explosion of the grenade with the secondary one of the fuel in the left booster as a roar encompassed it, the force of the explosion forcing it upward as it connected with the ceiling and dropped in the corridor with a thud.

Shrapnel from the floor and walls hit her and claw, mostly little stuff that wouldn't even scratch the paint of Claw's thicker armor. She had managed to wiggle free of it's grasp due to the foam on it from the fire suppressant system that activated now to extinguish the small fire left behind in the wake of the grenade.

It was quite for all of three seconds. DAMAGE ASSESSMENT … LEFT BOOSTER OFFLINE. FLAME THROWER AND LASER DOWN. SUBSTAINED STRUCTURAL DAMAGE 13%. ONE TARGET. THREAT 3% …

It sat up as if the grenade did little save for knock the booster offline though as it tried to rise the leg buckled as it dropped to a knee giving her a few precious seconds. With a booster offline though it seemed doubtful that it could just use one to dash at her though there was no telling how fast it would be now.

It was complete havok in the hall way and Red took her cover just as that explosion erupted a couple feet behind her, then fallowed by another as her plane worked! Its left leg exploded with its fuel reserves there.

Yet Red didnt get up off te floor until afther the two explosions and the fallowing heavy slams as she soon popped up to sharply gaze back at the battered and ruine tin man laying in the wake of the devistation, as foam rained from the ceilingto extinguish the flames.

Pulling her self to her feet, Levi had little time to check if Gizmo was even ok or even really brush her self off of the debrie and foam befor she heard that tin mans gruff metalic voice as it lit back up with a face of sparking wires and shattered armor.

"OH MY GOD! SERIOUSLY! HOW MANY TIMES DO I NEED TO PUT YOU DOWN!!" Red shouted at the top of her lungs at the beast of a machine. Drowing her knife off her belt watching it slowky rise off the floor to its feet only to suddenly buckle under ts own weight dropping to one knee.

"Oh! Having issues!" Red mocked coldly, grinning cocky as she watched it and took a few steps back to keep her distance from it. Having noted its idea of cabel length a momment ago as Red carfuly watched it. "Come on! Your not done allready are you! I'm just getting started you piece of glorified metal crap! Catch me if you can!" Red mocked agin befor she turned tail and ran the oppisite way, kicking foam up agies its face plate as she ran, ran back to the lovable lock jaw and hopfuly to a whole mess of booby traps just waiting for this thing....

"OH MY GOD! SERIOUSLY! HOW MANY TIMES DO I NEED TO PUT YOU DOWN!!"

It answered the query assuming that it was anything but rhetorical. UNKNOWN. AS FAR AS THE REASON DESIRED TO GET ME DOWN IT THE FIRST PLACE.

It could estimate the likelihood of what she had meant having advanced AI though it was still an infant in many ways as far as the way that it processed. It tried to stand the leg buckling as another question was flung it's way. Humor had been one thing it had not fully processed yet or sarcasm for that matter.

NEGATIVE. ALL SUBSTAINED DAMAGE MINOR …

She backed up though going to primitive arms as she drew out that knife. When she rang it simply picked up the ejected capture cable and began to pursue though this time she could hear the machine advancing on the ground sending vibrations through the plating. Another sound, that wall that sealed them in fell back into place sending a ripple though the plating. One fell in front of her some unseen distance away, another behind her. No such luck that the machine was sealed off from her as it advanced coiling up the capture cable to reload it.

In short order it was there again behind her. It had caught up, a leg showing discoloration and even some signs of damage from an outward explosion that fired from the back of it. It moved closer, analyzing her movements and getting into effective range before firing the cable at her again and rushing in behind it in an effort to ensnare her should she evade.

"Did it serious awnser my question! THIS IS ISANE!" Red shouted to her self, laughing as she ran away! Not looking back as she heard the hulking metalic beast thuming down the hall behind her with its heavy foot steps as it chased her.

Clearly Levi was faster then it on foot, yet it managed to keep up fine. Yet Reds luck ran out as she was suprised to fine her escape route cut off by a falling bulk head as it slamed shut, leaving Levi at a dead end.

Yet unforunatly Red didnt notice untill she litterly hit it, runing directly into the bulkhead in her fast dash with a loud metalic thud, knocking her on her ass..

"OW!OW!!" Red shouted, in pain holding her head, befor her whining was cut short as she heard the heavy foot steps shake the floor behind her as Red quickly scrambled to her feet and put her back to the bulk head and got ready, pointing her knife at the tin man.... even tho she knew it would do nothing to that armor

"STAY BACK! I'M NOT AFRAID TO USE THIS!!" Red threatened vainly, her bright ruby red eyes watching the Tin man slowly approch. It had her cornored with no place to run, her back to a wall and effectivly unarmed befor it did exactly what she expected.... it maybe advanced but it was prodictable...

Red was always quick on her feet, she has to be as she easly evaded that cabel launching out to ensnare her as it slamed into the bulkhead behind her with a loud metalic creek befor Red did somthing even crazyer. She rushed it as it rushed her, closing inquickly as she gritted her teeth and with a thrust forword Levi jabbed her knjfe twords the Tin mans open chest cavity despensing all those cabels, beingthe only point of its armor accually being open..... It wasa gamble, one that most likly just sealed her fate....

The manipulators extended from that chest plate, the slightly charred and damaged one moving to intercept as it was clear that this one had to be repaired it made for a great sacrifice in order to keep to keep it safe from further damage not that it had to fear a knife unless it stood there and let her tinker with some of it's connections.

While she came in at the vulnerable point or what she perceived as vulnerable any way it had ruled out her going for the shattered face plate as unlikely giving their size differences. It used one of the cable arms to smash down against the shoulder of the arm gripping the knife as the other reached in to secure a hold just as three of the four manipulators were. She was too armored to use any of it's tools so simple brute force was the best option.

What was going on in space or with Pyro she had no idea at present though currently things looked rather bleak. They grew darker as the security system to the labs section started up again as that gas began hissing out into the corridor ...

"Eghr!" Levi groaned out in pain as her quick slash with herknife was intercepted by a cabel that lashed out and struck her sholder with a heavy hit. Forcing her to drop the knife as it clattered agiest the floor befor she managed to jam her arm in to the cavity of its chest to even deal any damage. Levi was armored yes but hers was mre simple compaired to Claw's being a simple dera steel mesh. It handled blasterscand slash attacks fine.... but blunt force, odd are that that heavy metalic smack just broke her sholder... in which it did.. proving she was frailer then she looked... being a girl and all.

That smack to her right sholder knocked her left into the wall as she ran and with th tin man cover most of the hall way as she simply ran head long into the machine. Agin knocked on her ass befor a team of the Tin Mans manipulator cabels lashed out and came to hold her down. One manipulator pressing agiest her armored chest, keeping her prone.

"ERGH! GOD DAMN IT GET OFF ME!!" Levi shouted as she she stuggled violently, her legs kicking and her left arm flailing asshe shouted in her rage only to grunt in pain as she moved her broken right arm. Adreniline pumping as the pirate mercenary struggled agiest the heavy hulking machine befor Levi the red noticed the familure smell and a blue haze begining to envelop the hall way as her bright ruby red eyes widen in a new found suprise.

"DAMN IT GIZMO YOU WERE SO POST TO KILL THE......the gas.....zzzzzzzzz..." Red shouted! In a ovious angry tone, cursing th name of her comrade befor those violent struggling movments grew lazy and tired as the gas took effect and Red eyes grew heavyer and heavyer befor every thing faded to black....

NEGATIVE

Her answer came from the machine though with the addition of the gas her red eyes would open some time later. Her armed killed, pain flushed through it and yet it did not hurt as badly as it should. This was mostly due to the heavy scent that lingered in the air here that made it tough to think.

It was so pleasant, so pleasing to her senses that things were slow coming back. She was on a bunk in a cell that looked into a detention area. She was still wearing her armor minus the helmet and their was a one of the Chitine here that sported a purple band. It was busy monitoring something on a computer and in a cell opposite of her own was the massive Claw in complete armor minus his weapons. Her weapons were gone and an energy field kept her in her cell though she was not alone.

The source of that pleasant smell, a humanoid green ooze shifted it's attention to her as she came around.

“Finally up I see. Pirate I assume?”

Everything faded to black afther Levi had passed out. She had no clue what happened afther the encounter in the hall way with the Tin man, she had no reason to seeing she was passed out and hauled off to who knows where, but the young pirate awoke some time later.

Those bright ruby red eyes of hers opening in a still half daze as she reached up to cup her own forehead. Instinctivly with her right arm, only to suddenly hesitate and hiss in pain due to her wounded sholder. "Ergh! God! damn it!... where am I?..." Levi grunted, her head spinning, and her arm killing her befor she asked her self that commonly asked question when one woke up in a new strange place befor she realized the pleasent scent assail her senses, like waking up in a room with freashly picked flowers as she couldnt help but sniff the air.

"Eh?.... Whats that smell?" Levi said out loud agin befor she heard a voice speak no to far from her as the young pirate jumped and sharply flicked her eyes in the direction of the new voice, to see who it was from.... apparently meeting her cell mate.

"Who the hell are you?...." Levi asked coldly, ignoring his question it seemed as she turning her cute pain flushed face in the curious green blobs direction, not bothering to sit up yet as the slightist movement alone hurt her sholder alot sweet smell or not.

She had been alarmed of course but that had not surprised Goro in the least nor the typical question as he appraised her. Damaged goods … an injured arm, possible broken shoulder seeing the dent left in the armor. An easy fix, alas, was an easy fix.

“You are in the detention center of Quebos' ship. He took me and a few choice items when he cripple the vessel I was on. That smell … don't worry about it.” He looked out into the detention area then back. “How big was your team? They got three thus far.”

He pointed to another cell that could be seen if she were closer to the door. Opposite was another cell too which was empty though it seemed that they wanted to keep the mercs separated in different cells. It was Pyro in the other cell, not Gyro and it seemed that they may have had Gyro and already had the empty cell reserved for him that was if he were still alive.

The sweet smelling scent was emitted by Goro, an aphrodisiac that only grew stronger with his own arousal which was rather tame at the moment only because he was anxiously awaiting escape and thus distracted.

“You did a number on this ship? I felt all that jostling in here. They have few soldiers on this ship. That one there is a tech I think. It won't matter soon though ...”

"Quebos?" Levi repeated in a shallow still tired tone as she still looked to the odd blob of slime confused, befor she tried to sit up, gritting her pearly white teeth, clearly still in pain. "Erh... you mean that fat guy on the monitors?" The pirate awnsered, struggling up to sit up on the bed as she reached to cup her sholder painfuly.

"Eh... ow ow..." Levi grunted, pressing her sholder as if to test the pain. Only to oddly looked at the slime ball, watching him as he look out side their cell afther he told her not to worrie about that sweet smell, at which she didnt, finding it pleasent.... but she most likly wouldnt if she knew what it accually was...

"Hmmm... Thats none of your bussniess..... besides theirs to many of us to count....." Levi replied coldly, glaring daggers at her slimy new friend in the cell with her befor taking a quick glace out of her cell only too notice her two comrades in the other two cells she had line of sight too. Claw was still unconsious and Pyro was in the cell near his and Levi cou:d only assume Gizmo was not far off if he was still alive.... It didnt matter nor did she have time to care... but the blob did say three so she assumed he was....

"... Yeah.... my team really did a good job on their engine room...." Levi smirked cruedly. " Good luck ever fixing the bite I took out of this bucket.." Levi joked, refering to her Loveable Lock Jaw. Yet her attention was recaptured as she looked to the blob as he spoke, lookig to the worker creature her pointed out befor she heard his last phrase that bothered her.

"Why is that?" Levi asked befor she nerrowed her eyes at him a little confused. " Also... who are you? And why are you in my room...."

“Probably. No one has ever seen Quebos without the armor though I assume he is the only humanoid on board.” He simply nodded as to the answer that she gave regarding the number of beings here on board. It obviously wasn't enough seeing that they took the time to bring her here.

Half a dozen, a dozen maybe though the status of the ship itself had been more interesting to him.

“Why? Oh, this is a science craft – oh you meant my being here,” he grinned taking his attention off of the tech. He pretty much assumed that most of the warriors were dealt with. “I have been captured by the ADD and managed to get free. Not just once mind you but this time I have people coming for me.

“You may refer to me as they do, Emissary. If this ship has been crippled as you claim then it reasons that either your people or mine would get here before long. The question is why you are in my room. I was here first, my guess is to separate you and your team so they can interrogate you separately. That is my best guess ...” He paused as if sensing something abnormal then returned his attention to her. “Now we simply wait, unless you wish to make a wager as to who shows up first. My people, yours or if Quebos manages to get help here before either arrive. We took some heavy hits so I can safely rule out the later.”

"Your names Emissary?...." Levi repeated in a rather sceptical tone, allwhile her new friend just kept talking. The young pirate rather confused by the bloby creatures strange name befor she simply sighed and fell back to her left side to lay down....

" Well thars a weird name.... but whatever.... the ship is crippled and my clan wasnt to far behind in the pursuit.... me and my four comrades were only the scout force..." Levi smirked. " I still think nobody expected the entire engine block being chewed up...."


"Thats fair.... it probly just to seperate and scare us.... it wount work... Claw doesnt have the brain cells to have fear, Pyro is deaf and Gizmo.... eh... Gizmo just sucks... so he might be..." Levi joked agin, stareing at the Emissary, watching him twist and turn from looking to her and out the door, it was almost creepy. Yet Levi layed there on her bunk, listening to her new friend speak, nerrowing his eyes at him as he mentioned a wager, peaking her curiousity slightly. " What kind of wager... If you cant tell I dont exactly have anything to bet with...."

“It's more a title. My real name is no longer used given the people I am surrounded by.” Goro answered. He had gotten use to the Adda referring to him in such a way … even his slaves when he had them refereed to him as Master rather than by any name.

“Claw, Pyro, Gizmo, yourself. Is there someone you are not mentioning or do you mean five in total? And you are?”

He did not pry into anything she seemed unwilling to share though as he thought about the ship he grinned. “It seems that it will be a real contest. My cruiser is in the vicinity using an experimental cloak. It was nearby when my shuttle was attacked in transit to it though a short while later there was all sorts of commotion and sustained damage. So they may be close to swooping in too.

“I can fix up that shoulder when we get out of this mess. But right now neither of us has a thing. This ship is crippled and not going anywhere but we have ourselves to wager and anything we can recover from this ship of our things. I am well connected in the galaxy's underworld. Jobs, contacts … I would be willing to give them up if I loose but you set me free in the end. Now what will you wager if mine get here first?”

He paused again. “There's a Vathen here?”
