Post Re: The Heartless and the Maid [Vera]
Vanessa hoped that Vera wanted the student, lusted over her like she did for Vera. But, Vera had corrected several students. To say she lusted over any of them much less all of them was foolish to assume. But, it was not like Vanessa's mind was in a logical place right now. She wanted to expose Vera and yet she was here confessing a different purpose.

"Enter..." Vera was not about to have a conversation through a door. "Sit," she ordered the woman as she approached the desk. "I made it very clear what my expectations were, Ms. Crowell," she stated, "You even said yourself that you would perform and surpass them, preaching my lessons as you said back during your correction. Tell me, how much of that have you done so far? Better yet, have you stopped taking advantage of other students or have you been taking it upon yourself to 'save' them like before?"

"Claiming I corrected anything is insulting considering your past behavior," the Head Girl continued, "Being corrected means you understand what you did and will adjust your behavior accordingly. So far, you have yet to do any of that. It seems you have failed to be corrected which is beyond disappointing. Your session in the basement may as well never had happened. Now you have the gall to come to my office begging for sex. We went through this game once before and I am tired of playing. You have a problem Ms. Crowell."

Post Re: The Heartless and the Maid [Vera]
It was easy to see how easily Vanessa had crippled before Vera. She hated this woman, yet here she was begging for her touch. She was sure that Vera had seen through all of that- and most likely had formulated something to pin this all on the Knight. And maybe it was her. Maybe it was her inability to control her lust.

The crimson-haired girl took a seat and nervously twirled her hair with her finger. Her toes curled up inside of her shoes. She bit her lip and opened her mouth to say something, but stopped herself. She waited a few more moments before offering a reply. "You're right." Her fingers curled against her skirt. "But we've already talked about this. About my problem." It seemed as if some sort of sexual frustration was growing on her. Her eyes then glared at Vera. "Are you sure you don't have a problem, either? With all due respect, you had sentenced me to the basement because of sexual harassment, threaten to turn me in the authorities..." She leaned in closer to the silver-haired woman. "And my punishment could've been anything. Torture, burning. Instead, you touched me. You toyed with me. And judging from all the toys you've had, I'd say I wasn't the first one." Vanessa leaned back on her seat. "It appears you have a bit of repressed sexuality too. But, this is all just a theory of mine." The girl shrugged her shoulders.

Post Re: The Heartless and the Maid [Vera]
Once again, Vanessa wanted something but her mouth apparently did not share that same desire. The redhead opened her mouth and immediately accused the very person she was seeking 'help' from. Apparently Vanessa has yet to learn anything about opening her stupid mouth. Vera had no time to reteach someone who refuses to learn much less listen. "Saying all due respect does not mean anything when you immediately accuse and insult the very person you seek help from, Ms. Crowell," Vera replied coldly, "The door is behind you. With all due respect, get out..."

In record time, Vanessa successfully screwed up another chance. Until the woman learns how to speak properly to her betters, she will never even get a chance to voice her requests and desires. Vera had nothing to lose here. Vanessa was the one dripping with desire, hoping desperately to earn the touch from the woman she called Mistress back down in the basement. Vera had enough of blind ignorance for one day. How many more chances would Vanessa be allowed before the climb up the tower becomes entirely fruitless?

A small smile crept up the Knight's lips. She had pushed the silver-haired woman's buttons. Though the woman seemed quite calm, she could tell that she was onto something. "Hmm? You have it all wrong, Vera. I'm not accusing you, but instead saying what I observe to be true. If it's not, all I would need is an explanation for those actions." Her amber eyes stared right into the head girl's, as if shooting invisible daggers at her. She was ready to put this woman in her place. Vanessa placed a hand against her chest. "I'm not accusing you. On the contrary, I'm helping you out. It must be hard to maintain such a perfect picture, huh? If only... there were somebody that you could secretly indulge in." The crimson-haired girl stood up and walked around the desk until she was looking down at the seated woman. The redhead cupped Vera's cheek and leaned in to steal a kiss off the woman. Her lips were warm and soft. She then let go of the head girl with a devious smile. "What are you doing to do to me, witch? Send me to the basement again? Or get somebody to escort me out?" Vanessa was tempting the silver-haired girl to do either of the two options. But, which would she choose?

Post Re: The Heartless and the Maid [Vera]
Vanessa once again chose very poorly. Vera does not need to explain herself to anyone but the Headmasters themselves. Vanessa thought she was gaining ground when she was doing nothing of the sort. She was digging herself a hole and once again burning any bridges remaining that would ever lead her back to this room.

Vanessa did not get to feel the warmth of that cheek as the door opened and security entered. "Good bye, Ms. Crowell," Vera said simply, pushing the hand away while the student felt rough hands grab her and yank her away. Just like that, Vanessa was being dragged away from the woman she sought. Vera did not even look at the student as she returned to her work. Vanessa thought she was some special snowflake because of what happened in the basement. She will learn just how wrong she was.

The student was thrown out of the tower. Any attempt to return would lead to her being stopped by security. Looking up, Vanessa knew that Vera was once again just working at her desk, unphased by the world below her.

---

When Vanessa went to sleep for the day, she would wake to find herself in a dark concrete room much like a room in the basement. There was a dim bulb proving minor illumination. There was no furniture and no appliances except for a toilet and sink. The presence of both implied the student would be spending a prolonged period of time down here. Vanessa found she had been changed, wearing a featureless gray shirt with matching sweat pants and no shoes. She was sleeping on a mat which was apparently her bed. Within the circle of light provided by the bulb was a small tray of food and drink. A few sheets of paper and pencils were beside the tray. The top sheet was the only one with anything on it. Written was only one question, 'What rules were broken?'.

The only door out of the room was locked and there were no windows. Just like that, everything Vanessa had was taken from her. She was isolated from the student body and would remain confined here. How long would she be down here? Was there a timer or was she expected to answer the question? What if she answers it wrong?

Of course, she should've known that the accursed woman had prepared some sort of trap. Did setting up the trap mean that the silver-haired woman truly didn't have a desire for the redhead? It bothered her. In fact, it angered her. "You..." Vanessa hissed as the guards pulled her away, closing the door behind her. "L-let go of me! I can walk by myself!" She tried her best to push the guards away. If she was able to, the crimson-haired girl would make her way out of the tower herself. She would glance back at it, specifically the window where Vera's room was. "Hmp." The girl crossed her arms and walked away from the area.

What she didn't expect though, was waking up in some dark area instead of her room. "W-what? Where am I?" The knight stood up and immediately felt the piercing cold against feet. She looked down and groaned at the rather awful clothing she was forced to wear. "Oh, the basement? Or a prison?" Vanessa walked over to the tray of food with it and read the note left behind. How dare Vera do this! Vanessa had not broken a single rule. She had come into Vera's room and cleaned it. Then, she spoke with Vera, stood up, and was kicked out of the tower before she could do anything else, much less call Vera a witch. It was true that Vera had stopped Vanessa before she could make her move on the head girl, but how could she even prove that Vanessa was going to do what she intended? There was no rule Vera could say that the Knight had broken! To make it worse, she had been moved against her will. This was a kidnapping! They had even removed Vanessa's clothing. Would that not count as some sort of harassment in itself? Oh, Vanessa wished that Vera would threaten her with the police again. The crimson-haired girl would tell the police everything.

There was something sinister on this island, and the fact that Vera tried so hard to keep Vanessa in the dark only further provoked her. Perhaps Vanessa wasn't some special snowflake, but she surely was a thorn by Vera's side. Why else would the head woman go so far on a woman who was already 'tired of helping Vanessa'? The teen ignored the note and instead laid in bed. She curled into a sleeping position and would go back to sleep. No way was Vera getting away with any of this.

Post Re: The Heartless and the Maid [Vera]
Vanessa could think what she pleased. Simple press of a button was all it took to call security. Nothing was planned but the student's intentions were easily read by the silver haired empath. But, Vanessa would have plenty of time to think and reflect on what she had done. One way or another, she would either learn her place or remain out of Vera's hair forever. At this point, Vera could care less which happened.

The student would lay there as she was not exactly weary. The mat was hardly comfortable but it was better than the cold unfeeling concrete. But, time would pass and sleep would take the woman. She would eventually wake, unaware what time was and find a fresh tray of food and the same note waiting. Eventually, she would have to eat though there did not seem to be anything out of the ordinary with her meals. The food was plain but filling enough to keep going.

Time would pass. Vanessa would find nothing changing. It was like her life had turned static. She woke in the same clothes. Her room was the same every time she woke up, even if she made an effort to change things or make a mess. The meals were the same over and over. And the papers were always there. Her life was in no danger but she was completely isolated from the rest of the student body or humanity in general. How long would she last before she started to long for interactions with another person?

Post Re: The Heartless and the Maid [Vera]
Why? Why did she have to suffer for not doing anything wrong? Vanessa wasn't too sure how long she remained on the bed, nor how long she slept. Between classes, friends, and monster attacks, the redhead found herself quite tired. She had no problem drifting off to sleep for long periods of time. While asleep, she wouldn't even have to do much meaning that it took far longer than usual for her to feel even the slightest bit of hunger. Of course, it would eventually come, and Vanessa wouldn't be able to sleep forever. Until then, the girl remained tucked against the corner of the bed. Vera was a twisted individual. Her method of correction and her manipulative words meant that the silver-haired girl surely didn't want to play this game with the Knight. No- if she wanted Vanessa to apologize for breaking a rule- which she hadn't done, she would have to try another approach.

The teen awoke briefly, before slipping into another deep slumber shortly after. Though the bed was very uncomfortable, it wouldn't stop the weary Knight to get her well-deserved sleep. The crimson-haired girl held her hand against her chest, as if she were protecting her body from something. She mumbled something in her sleep with a rather ambiguous tone: "...Vera..."

Post Re: The Heartless and the Maid [Vera]
Vera and the school apparently knew the student had broken rules of some sort. Vanessa's denial of that was irrelevant and continuing to deny it would only prolong her isolation. If Vanessa was expecting Vera to return, she would be waiting a very long time. A troublesome student was no longer an issue and thus no longer a concern for the Head Girl. Vanessa could blame whoever or whatever she wanted that led her to this situation, Vera's work was done.

Was Vanessa's previous conduct and behavior questionable? Or did Vera know about some other rules that were broken before the meeting? The student had plenty of time to reflect on that as there was nothing else to do in the room. The weariness that had built up since arriving on the island would be rested away, leaving the redhead restless for the next upcoming days. That was when the isolation would really begin taking its toll. Vanessa would have nothing to do but think. Think about what got her to this place, what to do to get out, and why she could not stop thinking about that silver haired woman. What was she even trying to accomplish that was worth having everything taken away from her? Thinking back would only allow Vanessa to hear the disappointment in Vera's voice as she pointed out her half hearted intentions.

~I doubt anyone would care that someone as useless as you disappeared~

Vera said that after that abysmal attempt to clean the Head Girl's room. So far, her words rang true. No one came to the knight's rescue. She heard not a single voice besides her own. She was all alone and no one seemed to care that she was gone.

Post Re: The Heartless and the Maid [Vera]
The time for solitude wasn't filled with thoughts of what she had done wrong. The crimson-haired girl truly believed that she had not committed a single wrong. There wasn't one she could think of since her visit to the basement. She was forced awake by her body, and glanced around at the familiar room. Her stomach growled, and she saw food still remaining there with a note. The Knight hopped off of her bed and walked over to it. She began to hungrily eat whatever was on the tray, then prompted to write on the note: "No rules were broken." Afterwards, the teen began to stretch. Her body had been numb by how little it moved, and for someone as active as her, it felt strange being inactive for so long. When she had finished stretching, the redhead collapsed back onto her bed.

She knew better to think seriously about Vera, at least consciously. It would only result in sleepless nights, and that was the last thing she wanted. She allowed her mind to wander freely, pondering whatever came to her mind. First, was the extreme isolation. Vanessa believed that this isolation was not much different from Shokushu. She had felt isolated from many others on the island. While the crimson-haired girl was attacked on various nights, most students went through the curriculum without even running into a single monster. For that reason, Vanessa had to keep her experiences a secret. Even though she had met many others who were attacked like her, it mattered little. The girls didn't rally together and they were all raped one day or another. This isolation... wasn't too bad.

---

Or was it? Vanessa lost track of how much time had gone by. She knew that no one would save her- she most likely disappeared out of nowhere, so even if others did try to find her, no one would expect to search in this... wherever this was. How she longed for even the sound of a dropping pin. Sometimes Vanessa would say something to herself to make sure she hadn't gone deaf. Restlessness had built up on the young girl. She couldn't lay down anymore. She needed to do something. Pacing around the room only made the redhead even antsier. How did she never catch the person who placed food into her room? The girl went to eat any of the food and began to write on the note once more: "Vera, what have I done wrong?" And sent it away.

Each day, her letters would become more and more desperate. They would ask Vera to either let her go, or to explain what she had done wrong. The crimson-haired girl, no matter how hard she thought, believed that she hadn't done anything wrong. What rules did she break was beyond her. But the desperation for human contact had unsettled the teen. She laid in bed, rolling herself in her covers. She began to touch herself. It was all... she could do while she was tortured in her waking moments.

Post Re: The Heartless and the Maid [Vera]
Only the school knew how long Vanessa had been in there. Had it been days? Weeks? Vanessa got more sleep than she could every hope for. Now, she was restless. There was nothing to do in this room, absolutely nothing. There was no forms of entertainment in the dark room. There was no one to speak to much less touch. There was only the bed, her food, and the papers.

Who kept bringing her food and fresh paper? The sheet she wrote "No rules were broken" was replaced with a clean sheet. So the papers were being taken along with replacing the food tray it seemed. But, no matter how long Vanessa tried to stay up, she could never find the person who replaced them. Eventually, sleep would take her and she would wake to find fresh clothes, food, and papers waiting for her. Even pretending to sleep brought no one through that sealed door.

The only thing that seemed to reach the outside world was what she wrote on those pages. Whether someone actually read them or not was unknown. Vanessa turned to her only hope and began writing questions while begging to be released. Eventually, Vanessa would note the first page of the newly prepared stack of papers had more writing on it.

It listed various violations. Most notable were disrespecting a Head Girl and sexually harassing a Head Girl. It went further to explain why such things were important. The sexual harassment went on with how it harms the work place and can harm the victim. Mostly just things that were true in any environment not just Shokushu. If Vanessa had done anything like that to anyone in the real world, similar charges could have been made. Disrespecting went much the same though part of that disrespect was wasting a Head Girl's time. Being the only active Head Girl, Vera was a very busy woman and having to deal with someone harassing her is harmful for the entire school as that takes time away from students who do require her help.

It was a rather impressive reply considering. Instead of a list of violations, it explained in detail why what Vanessa did was wrong and how it was harmful to others. Of course, Vanessa could believe what she wanted like she always did. So far, her ignorant beliefs were what got her here in the first place. It was unknown who actually wrote this reply though. Would Vera actually hand write these replies? It seemed unlikely.

Post Re: The Heartless and the Maid [Vera]
Bags began to develop under the girl's eyes. Restlessness, anger, desire. Just about anything that brought out the worst in a human being was seeping out of Vanessa's body. Each time she noticed a new tray of food appeared, she would hurry over to it as soon as possible. Her eyes stared at the paper as if it were her salvation. "How... how long have I been here?" She whispered in a raspy voice. She couldn't even hold the sheet of paper still. Her hands shook as she grabbed onto the pen and began to write. The beautiful loops and curls of her writing were replaced with something resembling a caveman's drawings. Yet, if one were to focus, they would be able to read her formal apology. She had addressed his disrespect and sexual harassment of the head girl. If whoever read this paper turned in around, they would find the word 'SORRY' written all over. She had began to fit smaller 'sorry's wherever she could. After all, that was all she could do. Vanessa placed the paper back on the tray. She laid on the ground and curled her body. The young girl sobbed. It was only through sleep that she could escape this prison.

The notes came and went. Some had the same things as before while others mentioned other details to the 'lesson' the student should learn. But, at least something was happening. Those pages were her only connection to someone or something outside her cell. Vanessa's hand writing grew worse as she grew more desperate. The backs of pages were covered with the same word over and over again.

Then it was suddenly all over. Vanessa woke to the feeling of warmth shining down upon her. She was in bed in her room. The warmth was from the sunlight pouring through the partially open curtains. She was dressed in whatever she went to bed in so long ago. How long had she been gone? There were no signs of imprisonment. She was clean and her hair was the same length as before. Looking at the clock and the date on it, she got her answers.

Thirty-four days... She had been 'missing' for over a month. Sitting on her table were folders labeled by class. Inside were all the work she missed since being taken. Things seemed back to normal but now she was far behind in every subject she was taking. But, there were still unanswered questions. Who was replying to her? Was it a staff member? Was it Vera? What did Vera think of her now? Was the Head Girl thinking of her at all?

What was Vanessa going to do now?

When she awoke, the crimson-haired girl went to check her calendar. How had so many days passed by? Frankly, Vanessa was surprised she had not gone insane. However, she did feel jittery. She felt uneasy if she remained still and had an urge to pace back and forth through the room. Perhaps she should explain to her friends why she disappeared for so long. Sickness? A family function? Oh, she'd tell them in due time. Until then, the girl inspected the entire room to assure herself that everything was indeed hers. Yes, this was real. Vanessa let out a sigh of relief and collapsed on a chair.

But there was a tingling sensation. Something deep inside Vanessa that urged her to visit Vera. She stood back up and made her way to the tower once more. The redhead knocked on the door, and spoke in a low voice. "Hello, it's me... Vanessa Crowell." Her toes curled nervously underneath her shoes. "Can I come in?"

Besides one annoyance being out of her hair, not much changed for Vera during Vanessa's prolonged correction. She went with her usual routine of attending classes, meetings, and working from her suite up in the tower. What methods the school will use and for how long was out of her hands now. It mattered little in the end. No matter how good or bad a student is, their fate ends the same after graduation.

There was a knock at the door. Whoever was there spoke too low to be audible from where Vera sat. But the Head Girl still had an open door policy even for the shy. "Enter..." she ordered. The silver haired woman did not seemed shocked about Vanessa's return. The student was back so that means the school has saw her fit to return. That means Vanessa was just another student and so it was Vera's duty to assist the woman in matters. It was unlikely Vanessa came here for school matters though. "Ms. Crowell," Vera greeted in a cool and calm voice, "How can I help you?"
