Post Cornered (For Raitei)
This had not been Renetta's best day. A long and "interesting" night with her roommate had caused her to sleep through her alarm, and consequently be late for class. This had caused her professor to require her to attend a makeup study session after classes, which had in turn made her late for the track team practice. And as much as she didn't want to disappoint her professors, she was far more concerned about keeping in good standing with the team that she wasn't technically a part of. Although she wouldn't be able to join until the end of the quarter, the captain had practically promised her a spot as soon as signups rolled around again. That victory had been such a boost to her confidence and enthusiasm that she was dead set on protecting it, and terrified of doing anything that might compromise it.

But by the time she'd arrived today, she didn't even have time to change into her running clothes, let alone practice. Concerned for her image, Renetta promptly volunteered to put away the equipment for the day. The other team members had assured her that it wasn't necessary, and had even offered to help if she wanted, but she was insistent on doing it by herself. In the end, none of them could say "no" to her cute pleading face. As the team finished up their practice, Renetta changed into the blue t-shirt and black shorts that she'd intended to practice in. Since she wouldn't be doing any actual running, she left her hair tied to one side around a white ornament, and her favorite gold choker around her neck. She left her things behind in the locker room and headed onto the field. As the other girls bid her goodbye, she began to pick up the equipment and cart it back to the storage shed by the side of the track.

Post Re: Cornered (For Raitei)
Sun set over the horizon, the shadows beginning to pray behind every object as darkness started to devour the forest in the campus grounds. At that time a single lonely girl stood on the running tracks, picking up the equipment left by the team that had just left. All of them oblivious to the dangers of the school, for no true victim would dare leave a fellow behind; that is, if fear took the knowing and decided to ditch another to save themselves.

This Rahs watched with attention from the trees, camouflaged by shadow and the green of his skin among the leaves. His tail swung lazily as her rested on a branch, observing. The girl was dark skinned and paid attention to her appearance, judging from the ornament on her hair and its style. She had a thin body, but her skin and form were very alluring to the snake-like monster. It didn't take long to feel a stirring in his loins.

Silent he crept down to ground, moving without effort through the trees, scanning all around to see if she was truly alone. So far she was screaming to be taken, oblivious and vulnerable. Rahs reached the building and stood behind a corner, his blue eyes never leaving their mark. With the softness of the track and nearby grass even if her ran it would be so difficult to hear. But taking her in the open was still quite dangerous. He could slip in undetected as she continued her task. Waiting to slip behind her was not safe, for he did not know if there was a close spot to use for hiding close by.

By the time this girl finished packing the cart with the latest batch of equipment and looked at the doors leading inside nothing had changed. Nothing she could distinguish anyway. Everything remained the same both in and outside the building except for the fact she was not alone anymore. Something lurked behind every corner.

Post Re: Cornered (For Raitei)
Renetta carried out her task dutifully, humming softly to herself as she picked up the leftover equipment. She really didn't mind her task, or being alone as she did it. Doing things on her own was a default for her, and she knew how to keep herself company. Still, as she began to move cart loads of training gear into the shed, she couldn't help but feel slightly unsettled. There was a nagging feeling at the back of her mind, like she was being watched. But every time she looked around, the only signs of life were the occasional birds flying overhead. She shook herself out of it, telling herself it was all in her mind. Things had been... strange lately. There had been several events she still couldn't fully explain, and she reasoned that it was messing with her head. Still, it made each trip into the dim shed rather unsettling. She grit her teeth and forced herself to take her time and put everything away properly, but she couldn't deny that her heart was beating faster each time she left.

Finally, she'd gathered up her last load. The sun was getting low on the horizon, and she was eager to finish up. Just one more trip into the equipment shed, and then she could return to the locker room to gather her things and head back to the dorms. Once more gathering her courage, she carted her load inside to sort it into its proper place.

An unnerving sensation began to prey on her mind. Humans rarely listened to their instincts, they were lost in the false confidence of their reasoning. Having seen no threat nor a single student besides herself, it was only logical to assume she was alone.

By the time she entered with the last load of equipment the doors leading further into the institution were closed so were the other exits. Rahs looked from the shadows, behind objects as the night began covering most of the gymnasium. Almost patiently, careful, the girl finished placing the equipment back in their place with perfection. She would move to the locker rooms, unaware of the green monster moving in silence towards the doors she walked past. A loud switch was heard as the few remaining lights on the ample gymnasium were turned off.

If she went back to see what had happened, she would be unable to see him. He had entered as the lights went out and a few moments later the lights in the locker room were shut down too.

Renetta did her best to stave off the sense of unease as she finished up her task. By now, she was more than eager to be done and gone as she began to walk back towards the locker room. She'd only taken a few steps into the relative security of the room when there was a loud snap that made her heart skip in her chest, and the light following her in from the gym suddenly disappeared. She wheeled back to find the room in inky blackness, as if someone had flipped the switch that controlled the gym's lights. Renetta stared into the darkness for a few moments, knowing there had been no one in the gym to turn them off. Finally, she forced herself to turn back around.

In a hurry, she began to collect her things, shoving her uniform into her bag. She was almost ready to make a quick retreat when suddenly the locker room went dark. Renetta yelped and spun in place, staring into the inky blackness in a mild panic as her eyes struggled to adjust. Her breathing was coming heavy now, trying to keep up with the strong, quick beating of her heart.

"H-hello?" she called into the darkness, her voice sounding small even to herself as it struggled not to break from her anxiety. "Did someone... turn off the lights? I-I'm still here. ...hello?" She began to shuffle slowly through the darkness, her head moving back and forth as her eyes strained, unblinking, trying to see.

To the alien her yelp and frantic movements were very clear. In the darkness that soon enveloped the locker room he could still see her. Her heat was almost as clear as day, having moved in and out of the building several times. Her breathing and heart beats rose as the situation only seemed to get worse.

Her hands reached out to anything to try and feel where she was. Slowly she moved and little by little they got closer... much closer until she felt it. She reached the cold locker next to one of the walls. No one had replied until the voice came from behind.

"I did. Exactly because you're here." Would the student turn around her eyes would barely make out the nearby lockers but nothing farther, even if it was straight ahead. But she had heard it, a male deep voice. If her ears strained to hear as much as they could to hear anything else there was only a faint stepping sound on the floor. She could feel it, a presence coming for her.

Post Re: Cornered (For Raitei)
Renetta groped blindly in the dark. Her eyes struggled to adjust, but there was almost no light at all left in the room. Slowly, carefully, she made her way forward, until she finally reached a set of lockers against the wall. She hummed to herself in contemplation, looking to her left. She knew that the exit should have been that way. Slowly, she started to move towards it, when a voice from behind her made her yelp in shock. She spun around towards it, or at least she thought she was facing it. In such darkness, her sense of direction disintegrated in an instant, and she couldn't be sure where the voice had come from.

But the voice had been there. It sounded like a man's voice - deep and foreboding. She didn't know what such a voice would be doing in the locker room of a girls-only school, but it hadn't been apologetic for turning off the lights. Quite the contrary, it made it sound as if this was all part of its plan. Her breathing grew heavier and faster, and her heart pounded in her chest, so hard that it was all she could hear.

"W-who's there?" she asked, panic fully setting in. "Y-you shouldn't be in here. This is a private area."

The girl spun in place, leaving her facing at random towards a locker only in the general direction of Rahs. From the darkness he could see her perfectly pressing her back unconsciously against the locker.

"I am Rahs," the voice said, definitely closer than the last time he spoke. "You shouldn't have been alone. This is our grounds," he added, his steps ever closer.

No sound of his steps, nor his breathing, nor anything. Until she saw something move beside her head until it planted itself against the locker. Her sight was barely starting to adapt to the darkness. For now all she could see was the silhouette of his arm and a pair of eyes if she squinted just before her.

The breath that had been coming in deep, rapid breaths suddenly froze in her throat. The voice spoke again, closer this time. She tried to back away, but already found her back against the wall of lockers. "'O-our grounds?'" she repeated, her voice breaking with fear. "W-what do you mean? Please, I'm sorry. I wasn't intruding... I didn't mean to..." She didn't know what the voice was talking about, or what she had done to invoke its anger. But she knew to be afraid. Slowly, she began sliding to her right, trying to slip away. Suddenly, she saw something slide beside her. It was only a shadow in the dark, but she could sense its movement as it pressed up to the wall, cutting off her escape.

She gasped loudly, clasping her hands in front of herself. She looked back at where the voice had come from. It was still too dark to see, but she thought she could see eyes, faint and dim, staring at her. Her own eyes widened, and she could feel fearful tears running down her face. "Please don't hurt me," she whispered in a tiny voice.

"Hunting grounds, you might say." The voice specified, but such information was not necessary for the girl either way. Her voice trembled in fear just like the rest of her entire body. She gasped and clasped her hands at the approach of his arm, unable to do or think of anything else. Her tears Rahs could see trail down her face in panic, her voice reduced to barely a whisper.

"Hurt you? I never. I will own you for a while, however." Whatever these words meant was a mystery for the girl but the strange being did not move away, instead it got closer. His body was well hidden in the darkness but she could feel, by the air blocked, that his body was much larger than hers, towering easily if he were not leaning to look into her eyes. However, she could definitely his other hand pressing suddenly into her, palm wide, upon her stomach. It lingered there for a second before it started trailing dangerously close, with no sign of stopping, towards her chest.

Post Re: Cornered (For Raitei)
Renetta whimpered as the voice spoke. She didn't understand what it was talking about. What hunting grounds? She was in the school locker room. There was nothing to hunt here, except... She felt something moving closer. Something big. She could feel it in the way the air moved around her, in the way it pressed slowly towards her. She pressed herself back against the locker, but there was no where to go, nowhere to escape. Even though the voice promised not to hurt her, she got the impression that it definitely meant her harm.

Suddenly, something touched her stomach - something big, and forceful. She squealed, her hands immediately going to grab it. It felt like a hand, but bigger than normal. She could feel hard metal on top, and soft, slick skin underneath. She could feel her strength rendered useless against the hand, as it began to travel up her stomach. She gasped and tried to wrench herself free.

"No! Get away!" she cried out.

Her tinier hands were impotent to stop his arm. She could feel the metal and his skin but nothing she had ever touched resembled this, just what manner of large creature could he be, she would wonder even as the panic grew the more his hand rose.

"You will be mine." He responded simply. He made no effort to keep her in place. His fingers had already felt the soft flesh beneath the blouse, her breasts waiting to be revealed and groped. She had difficulties wrenching free but all the creature did was press onto her shoulder with the first hand. He was confident there was nothing the girl could do to prevent this, no matter if in the end she struggled or ran, he would catch up and claim her just like he had countless girls before. If she managed to move away his hand had already been lodged between the buttons of her blouse and it would rip open with the force of her struggle.

Post Re: Cornered (For Raitei)
Whatever owned this hand must have been very large, and very strange. It didn't feel human - far from it, in fact. She'd wonder about the nature of this appendage more, if she wasn't desperately more afraid of what it was doing with her. It slowly dragged its way up her stomach, pressing against her skin, drawing her top up with it. She could feel it pressing through the spaces between her blouse. But when the voice spoke, claiming her, she finally snapped back to her senses.

She screamed, and instinct kicked in, causing her to throw herself away from her assailant. She moved, and a split-second later, she felt the groping hand catch in her blouse. There was an instant of resistance, before the sound of half a dozen buttons popping free, leaving her shirt open. She felt the cool air of the locker room brush over her naked chest, as her small breasts didn't warrant wearing a bra most days. Anyone adept at seeing in the dark would have been able to see her small mounds and perky nipples for a few precious seconds.

But Renetta's sudden state of undress only served to heighten her flight instinct. She took off, one hand trying to hold her shirt closed, while the other slid along the wall of lockers beside her. She took off, running as fast as she dared in the darkness. She was starting to be able to see, but there were still too many shadows for her to make out everything that could have been in her way. Fear drove her, however, and she rushed onward, away from the danger behind.

The girl screamed and finally seemed to break out of her panic-induced paralysis. She struggled with the hand but never relented and the sudden movement ended up ruining her blouse completely. Rahs was looking at her, enjoying her puny struggle and caught the glimpse of her small breasts and perky nipples before the girl turned around and fled. He sighed audibly.

"You won't escape," he called out to her. She had a hand on the lockers, using it to guide her. Rahs could see that the girl was able to move better in the dark, her eyes adapting to it. However, it would not suffice, in the end he had made sure the exits were closed by now. Not that it made the locker rooms and the gymnasium any smaller, the place was still very large and she was very small too.

As soon as she turned a corner she could hear heavy footsteps running towards her. It took him little time to reach that corner but he stopped briefly. He was keeping her in sight but moved slowly when she was still moving in a straight line.

Renetta ran as fast as she dared, the sound of footsteps chasing behind her giving her all the motivation she needed to keep moving. She still didn't even know what was chasing her, but from the shape of the hand that had grabbed her, and the fact that it had feet to make footsteps, she was starting to get an idea. Whatever it was, it had made its intentions increasingly clear: it wanted to own her, and probably her body. Terrified, she ran for what she hoped was the exit. But although her eyes were starting to adjust to the dark, she still couldn't see things in her way very clearly. As she rounded the corner, she sprinted for the door. However, her feet soon tripped over a stray jersey lying on the floor, sending her sprawling to the ground. She yelped as she fell, the impact with the ground knocking the wind out of her.
