Re: The Search (for Gaia)
The Adda were somewhat resistant to stun though not a great deal more as far as dropping them though they regained consciousness a little quicker. But as surprised to see her as she was of seeing him her well honed reflexes allowed her to draw and fire without him getting off an alarm.
There was the discharge of the weapon but the other Adda that were here had to have been in the ship. Not to mention he was an easy target and went out. There was a quick judgment call on her part as to whether to stay or go but no one seemed to respond and so she had about five minutes or so to hastily go through things. Beings tended to stay out for about ten minutes though the Adda would stay out of it for about seven perhaps eight minutes. Their recovery was just a hair quicker.
The Adda had a card clipped to the lab coat she noticed as she moved him into the shadows. Taking it she was able to check the rest of the hanger and discovered that there wasn't all that much too it. The Adda seemed to mark their goods simply and most of what she saw were labeled science or medical though there were a few that were different, spare parts was one and the others marked goods or combat.
If she spent the time to open them she would have a better idea of what each contained though the plain descriptions on them told her what general things they were likely to contain.
The card was some sort of key card she realized probably the same sort she saw on the other one. Now though she had some consideration of the stunned Adda, trying that sealed door or making her way out of this place.
There was searching for the leader too which she had no luck in uncovering so far though he was probably in the barracks now or the mess hall.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
Gaia moved quickly she felt as if she was running on time, and it was almost out. The leader had moved quickly, and locating him would be a tad too time consuming. After a moment she gave up not willing to go too deep into the rabbit hole. Besides she just needed to ,mark the barracks location so she did, but decided to draw back. It was best to avoid going back the way she came, instead she was going to try find another way to get to the droid area.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
Hurrying about with she felt the press of time as Gaia searched for an alternate way out of here. As she did she could hear several of the Adda rushing about, the being she had to take down had to have been discovered and sooner than she had hoped.
It made sticking to the shadows a must. This base wasn't large but it was just large enough. It seemed that the smaller Adda, the non com so to speak remained in whatever rooms they were working in, probably sealing themselves in.
While places like the hanger had been closed off now there were not too many rooms that had contained Adda. KD had given her a quick layout downloading a few things remotely.
It could not assist her with locked doors remotely though if there it may have been able to by pass some circuits.
It had seemed that someone had tried to power up the droids though from the cursing in Adda that had carried to her ears that just wasn't happening thanks to KD.
She was directed to a ladder that lead up to the surface though there were still half a dozen droids out there active KD had assured her that they were only guarding against entry, not exiting the place unless they had received other orders. While that was possible the Adda were not technically savvy and thus probably incapable of sending orders remotely through a computer and would have to be in their presence to issue out orders.
It was rather odd though, even in low pitch that KD was vocalizing words using her ship's computers to synthesize a voice now as if multitasking on a shit load of stuff wasn't an impossible feat.
She had one last corner to round before at the ladder though and from around it had been two Adda. Both seemed to be about average size, both with stun rifles at the ready. Even their side arms were stun pistols and other then their knives and claws they did not seem to have any lethal weapons on them.
They were quick, their surprise not nearly as long as they reacted quickly as if by impulse. She may have been able to manage one on one though the odds being what they were ensured that at least one would get her, the only question was was there 11 or 12 to deal with in the future.
All had not been hopeless either. She still had personnel back at her ship though it was likely that they would begin a search of it. Help, was a short distance away though it wouldn't be the ADD it should be capable of dealing with a dozen slavers and the few droids seeing how the bulk had been disabled. Certainly the planet in the system would want this issue dealt with.
One of the Adda barked out orders at her. It was a simple language though she had not known it. However, two rifles being trained on her certainly got that message across.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
The Ada’s recovery or discovery was quicker than she had expected, and it had been wise for her to flee before she was caught. Or so she had assumed. It was clear word spreads quickly, particularly in a small base like this. She needed KD to stay a step ahead of them, as well she kept to the shadows. The base was falling into lock down, the smaller ones locking themselves in. It didn’t matter she had the information she needed.
Rounded her last corner she had been too eager to leave. Two guards armed and ready. They where surprised for half a second and before she new it there was mexican standoff. She could get one and her reflexes could avoid the other, but was he just as fast she, or faster. It didn’t matter if escaped these, the question was how many would she have to deal with, how many where around the corner. KD had the information she needed. Going off her previous orders he would send the to the proper authorities and she would be rescued. Dropping her weapon she raised her hands.
“Okay boy’s I get the point no need to get trigger happy.” She stated in a sultry tone.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
They were saying something as they covered her. Multiple arms proved to be an asset as one got out a com, kept her covered though he fumbled with it for a bit. She had not noticed the device prior though from the looks of it the device was old and easy to overlook being circular with a single button in the center and a smaller one on the top that one would see on the side of a watch.
It seemed as if this one had to be dialed to the right frequency. On the face of it was a reading, alien numbers though he seemed to play with the dial a little without taking his eyes from her after discovering it was on the wrong frequency probably set to the wrong one.
The information had been uncovered though the pair lead her to one of the locked doors she had come across earlier. Neither seemed to speak her language but they got their point across easy enough. They waited and the smaller commander arrived with two others.
He eyed her carefully then issued orders after disarming her. Three of the four others left leaving him to use a key card to open the door. “After you,” he spoke her language though there was an accent to it.
A hallway had stretched before her and she noted the various doors to either side. At the end of the corridor a door was opened for her, a simple cell.
“Inside,” there was a metal cot, toilet and sink though there was no mirror.
After she was inside the commander handed his weapon to the other after issuing and order and entering the cell after her. The door closed and locked afterward though small the commander seemed to garner attention. He seemed fearless at least hand to hand anyway.
“Easy way, you can answer me truthfully. Hard you will still answer me truthfully,” he grinned. “Now, who sent you?”

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
They took forever to take her to their leader, heck they even fumbled their communicator. She noticed it was an older model, but functioning one, at least when the creature wasn't stumbling to work out the code out properly. Did he even he remember it. He did, and she found her self stripped of arms and gear. She meet the smaller head alien. He didn't seem pleased but from her earlier sight of him she would have assumed her never was. She taken to a hallway, hidden, she didn't even notice. This was interesting and unforeseen, while it seemed like a small base it was relatively large if they concealed all the interesting bits. Clever but she doubted these creatures came up with it. She had been put into a cell. A Pitiful one, obviously designed to make one uncomfortable. She followed the commands given her.
The commander followed in behind her and handed off his weapon. Smart, but that wouldn't stop her from clawing out his eye's if needed be“ Easy way, you can answer me truthfully. Hard you will still answer me truthfully,” he grinned. “Now, who sent you?”
Well there was two ways out of this her only real choice to lie, and say she was a reporter, but what reporter runs around with highly advance gear and practically armed for a war. She could tell the truth and that would blow her cover. Given how the large ones acted around the commander stalling wasn't an option. It was lie or truth. Or make up a new one."What Never seen a police officer before." She stated with a bit of sultry sass. Though her tone was convincing and she never gave any lie indicators. For most people that would that ring true with the Adda she had no credentials, none that could prove she was some sort of detective, nor could they she was A.D.D either. This left it up to his judgment call, if brought it or not he most likely to take anything she said with a grain of salt.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
“Not a living one,” he came back without pause. He had been examining her while thinking. The Adda weren't stupid though they were behind the curve with tech. However, they were relative new comers to the galactic scene and did not know some things that were taken for granted.
For example in their society a non warrior would never claim to be of the warrior caste. There were no credentials to it, everyone knew their place and lying about that sort of thing was rather obvious. It was a good way for you to wind up dead since warriors challenged each other all the time.
However, her universal appeal and attractiveness cast a modicum of doubt. Not that he didn't believe that she was a cop but had a tough time looking beyond the obvious sex appeal and the fact that she was female.
He had to assess why she was here too, Piracy and kidnapping. She was probably sent to rescue one of the prisoners. One clawed hand rubbed his chin as he weighed all this in his head. The galaxy was strange indeed though.
Then suddenly he sprang at her. His lower arms crossed in an X across his chest as the upper two launched at her. He would judge her reactions to verify her words. Though this wasn't anything that had to be too complex to get a basic understanding of her skill. She wasn't built like an Adda and he had not expected too much even if she could hold her own.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
Well that was comforting. Gaia thought as she looked at the small lizard ponder on what to do. What happened next was unexpected he was attacking she moved by instinct dodging him but also striking with her own claws. Hissing as she went; not like snake more like alligator or crocodile; She may not be built like the Adda. But she was built for flexibility and speed. even in a small space the buxxom alien was no push over in terms of close combat. More room would be preferred of course. He would know in the next techniques was defiantly more akin to an officer of the law but with preciseness of an A.D.D agent.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
With a plethora of arms he blocked her strike though he missed as she evaded him. The close space was more in his favor since she was faster than he. The Adda spun to face her, not expecting her to respond so quickly. Whether luck or not he grinned at that challenging his.
When she evaded again his ardor almost took over as instinct to fight challenged his reason. On the one hand he desired to take this further and even had a few things in mind though on the other he had confirmed what he had been after.
He brought his eyes over her searching for cracks in her defense it seemed. Then he grinned. “The Emissary would appreciate his gift intact.”
The Adda backed up towards the door watching her, prepared to counter should she attack. He said something in his language and the door had been opened. He departed, having no other questions or concerns it seemed. She had been looked back in her cell and could hear the Adda walk off. The commander issuing some orders to the other as they moved off.
Things had been quiet long enough for her to look about her tiny cell. A toilet, sink and bed which was little more than a slab of steel attached to the wall though there was a thin mattress upon it and a thinner blanket.
There was a single roll of toilet paper on the back of the tank of the toilet though it was windowless not that there would be anything to look at being underground. The door had a little slot at eye level to peer out or in but that had been closed currently. There was a hinge at the bottom that locked on the other side where food could be slide in and even a slot at the center of the door which was for cuffing and handcuffing her without having to go into the cell to do so.
All in all the Adda seemed well prepared in dealing with prisoners and seeing that they were isolated here she could guess that they detained prisoners here often enough.
She would also know from the Adda that defected and records from the ADD that the Emissary was Goro, once a small time being but now revered by the Adda for reasons unknown.
There were small slots near the ceiling, some sort of ventilation she guessed though far too small to be useful. Echoing all about her was a voice. The source may have been the vent as she was unable to locate any speakers or cameras.
“Are you alright?” Masculine, a middle aged man.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
The Adda was quick and experience. He the upper hand in speed and size. well he smaller and she was taller but she was agile. The buxom beauty was proving to be challenge, and he seemed torn between reason and instinct. Intelligent, but not beyond sub-cumming to his primal heritage. Intriguing. He backed off and orded the door open, that what she assumed seeing it open as he backed into it. His words indicated she was to be a gift. Great, it seemed that way with her entire species. Catch the ever rare and illusive Velurian and it was time to celebrate by giving-her way as a gift. It was disgusting but so was it the way of the galaxy.
With him gone she wasable to take in her cell. This by no means was meant for a important person. No sir this was most certainly a prison cell with the cell being so small there was little to do create a way out. It was too plain and open, yet too small for her to make anything substantial. They were prepared for this, well not for her arrival but for prisoners. She wondered if this facility was also meant for holding prisoners. She knew who was running this so and to whom she was to be given to. Goro.
“Are you alright?” A voice of man filled her ears. He wasn't outside the door. Looking up she saw the vents. Apparently the cell next to her shared a vent. The voice was milddle aged."I'm Fine. A little roughed up, but fine." She replied calmly.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
“Good to hear, the all right part, not the roughed up one though it didn't seem that they did too much.” The man's voice carried through the vent, apparently he was in the cell adjacent to her own.
“Fortunately we're worth more in good health. If I heard correct you're with the authorities? They'd be moving then, tech smart they aren't but they're not stupid either, just primitive being in doctrine in some of our firearms.”
The man was silent for a moment. “The name's Neblin. The got me and a few others but said they didn't need a physicist just yet so they kept me here to fix their droids.” She would barely have time to introduce herself when she was being contacted … it was almost laughable that the Adda were so new to tech they had only stripped her of anything that looked to be a weapon but left her with her other tech. A huge oversight or were they just that confident that it would do her no good.
It was KD, and it sounded irritated using the ship's computers to patch in audio to here.
WHERE ARE YOU?
There were was clicking in the back ground, frantic movements and button pushing. Voices of her people though she only caught a word here or there. It had seemed as if the droid was seeking confirmation more than anything else.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
"Pardon me a second" She stated as she checked her coms device. Surprisingly they had not stripped her of it. Apparently they only recognize older models as forms of coms. On top of that a lot of her equipment was meant to blend with her belt. It was KD, the crafty little droid never did stop amazing her. She hear the sounds and the language of her people. So it seemed that they looking for her. Good it appeared they would be rescued. However she wasn't sure if should tell Neblin this. Without a facial conformation on who she was talking to.
"I'm safe cell it appears to be in an area hidden by cloaks." She stated quietly to give anything a way to Neblin and anyone else listening in on them.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
“Of course,” Neblin fell silent as she dealt with the comm.
THE OTHERS WISH TO DEPART AND REPORT. PERMISSION TO STAY ASSUMING THAT ORDER IS RESCENDED. I CAN GET YOU FREE, PROVIDED YOU STAY PUT.
The last had to be an attempt at humor. Or there could have been an off chance that it was being straight forward and meant that provided that she didn't try to escape or had been removed from that location.
It was clear that it was contacting her without the knowledge of the others who had been responding as expected though KD had not voiced any objective from the start it may have been that it had not expected it to come to this or had other things in mind. This was likely a last ditch effort.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
With some privacy Gaia too everything in. From what KD said she was bout to be abandoned. Then again she was also "I can guarantee I will stay in one place they seem to have plans for me." Gaia related as she tried to figure a way out of this mess."They will be taking me to their leader, so I surmise keeping a coping on me is all you van do for now, but allow the others to report in." It was risky but she wasn't to risk the droid, but she didn't say not come and get her, if she could she would use this to get to the leader and have her rescuers subdue him as well as this base.
However she wasn't sure as to why her people decided to leave, and it clear KD was working on his consent not theirs. Perhaps there was something else happening she wasn't aware of. That or the little droid was truly loyal to her, then the droid had it own-mind perhaps it had another objective. Gaia couldn't be sure but for now she place trust in KD fully.

Re: The Search (for Gaia)
AGGITMATIVE
There was little else at this stage and KD signed off. She had been left in that cell for a time speaking with Neblin. He had not been too sure why the base was here and while he was grabbed in the past his abilities with repairing droids had been more of use at the time.
He had the impression though that the pirates were searching for something and thus needed specific expertise to locate.
“I'm not sure what they are searching for but they need specific knowledge to locate, knowledge that they don't have but from what I've seen thus far it's general stuff, well general if you're a specialist in a given field. Right now they have less of a us for me.”
Her cell was opened and a pair of Adda had been there. Neblin went silent at hearing the approaching foot steps. One guard remained out of the cell with a rifle trained on her as the other entered attaching manacles to her. She was escorted out of the cell, lead to the hanger and found that there was another ship there and. There was a droid now unlike the others who approached flanked by two security droids. It had a simple humanoid body that had been featureless.
It studied here and looked to the Adda with an expressionless face. SHE STILL HAS HER GEAR? IDIOTS. YOU'RE AN LOCAL OFFICER? WHAT SPECIES ARE YOU?
Her gear was stripped off at this point before the Adda left her with the droid. The good think was that it did not seem to question where she was from, nor was it familiar with her kind so it's knowledge banks were incomplete but at the same time it struck her as smarter then the Adda, at least up to date with tech and showing an interest in learning about the unknown.
She could see that the new ship, a shuttle, had been in the process of being loaded up with droids by frustrated Adda when they found that they could not just activate them but rather had to move each by hand. Either they had not figured out what was wrong or couldn't easily undo what KD did. That provided a bit more information as to the droid before her, it was not designed to do typical tech stuff or was behind KD there though KD was a droid from a very advanced civilization.
