Lorielle is confused by the way they are ignoring her - as she is making at least as much noise as the avians were prior to the guards appearing.

"You. Have. Come. As. I. Commanded." Even in its gravely monotone, the triumph and assumed dominance is palpable. The tentacles begin to slither within their prison, as if anxious to be free.
