Feeling the rush of air as he fell, the demon shot his wings open and gained lift just feet from the sand. He was within view of the cave but seemed disinterested. The sand blew viciously as he beat his heavy wings and began to glide overhead.

He lazily drifted around the side of the small shelter hid victim had chosen and landed as quietly as he could.
