Post Re: The Search (for Phoebe)
Phoebe managed to elude her most recent pursuer, but that didn’t help much in the long run. One of these creatures chased her for their alien master, the other for reasons unknown. She was unaware there were more coming her way, whether they figured out what happened or simply desired a reward beyond payment rather than travel with those who seemed to have taken sides against them in an all out firefight.

Lust gnawed at her beyond comprehension. Hot blood pulsed through her veins, and she knew where every drop of it was going. Solid cherry peaks throbbed against the girl’s tattered dress which began to feel tight around her, snug even, constricting about the woman’s chest as it was getting difficult to keep on running. She was nearing fatigue after everything Gorjen put her through, and with every little psychic trick she could endure less and less. The only fortune she had was the fact that lone wolf didn’t have any juices to make tracking her even easier.

It was another who chanced upon her all the same. The unknown male nearly knocked the air out of her lungs, catching her mid stride. How he caught up with her, Phoebe couldn’t make sense of it, but as it was she turned out to be fairly lightweight cargo he had no trouble pinning back first to himself, all without making a sound.

A shudder rolled down her spine at the mere mention of her name. How did he know? Who was he? What did he want? Whose orders was he following? He spoke of monsters. Did he mean the bounty hunters, or something else? Furthermore, would he be worse? The spent blonde could only run for so long before someone, anyone caught up with her. There was no escape, no clarity, at least not in the long run. She never got any real answers, nor had she seen anything like him. His wings, the third eye, those powers of unknown origin, there was next to nothing she liked about this.

With but a nod, however, Phoebe indicated she’d be a good girl for once. As his hand fell away, her head dipped back slightly, eyes flickered up and over her shoulder to gaze upon his ghostly silhouette. Camouflage? Magic? She would’ve been hard pressed to rationalize what strange barrier formed around them.

“Yes, I .. I can pilot a ship.” A spark of electric bliss coursed through the woman’s tongue, nearly making her bite down on it before one thought chased another. Did he arrive with the others? If he can’t navigate the planet’s immediate vicinity because of those black holes, how else would he have gotten here? “S-Still, what makes you think I’ll do that willingly? Why should I help my captor? Why shouldn't I cry out and hope they'll deal with you while I make a run for it?”

“Oh, we both know that you won't do that. Not that it matters to me in the long run. I was only suppose to secure you. The black holes will not kill me. At least not permanently.” He mused. “Before long I will be fashioned again. Minus my memories.”

He considered explaining things but it did not matter if she understood. He just held her closer against him. His tongue traced down the side of her neck again dosing her with whatever technique he had been using against her.

As if to tease her even further she could feel the bulge in his pants pressing up against her backside. “You can run for a time. Either they catch you or they abandon you to this place. You'll probably be here for a fair bit if Aegir bothers sending my next incarnation to retrieve you.”

He name dropped though he still held her close. His grasp never loosening though his free hand roamed her body caressing her side and even cupping a breast. Apparently he had not been under any instructions not to take advantage of her, tease her or the like. Maybe it had been implied. Maybe not. In any case it appeared that he had only to make the effort to acquire her. Whether he succeeded or failed didn't seem to matter to him at all as long as he could say that he had tried.

“Shall I let you go or maybe you're up to stealing a ship. The more time that passes the less we will have to choose from. But at least three of them are dead. It would be too convenient to think that they were all on the same vessel or part of the ship I was on.”

He gave her small breast a bit of a squeeze. “While you remain shielded the illusion will mask your scent from the Voren out there. It didn't look as if he had been planning on giving up any time soon. I don't remember what ship he was on or if he were alone. I had to revise my plan fairly quickly when I arrived and sadly it wasn't as well thought out as I would have liked, hence the current situation.”

“Mnuuhh ..” That tongue offered nothing short of divinity to the delicate vein of her neck, every fleeting contact of which bestowed tension and searing shards of bliss to ever wanton tissue. A clash of heaven and hell alike, her body both tensed and shuddered beneath that touch. As more of his charge’s sensual whimpers had been elicited from lithe lush lips, quivering in denial of how good this felt, even more of his otherworldly powers seeped into her flesh.

Hands gripped him, a flustered look upon those charming features that tilted with the rest of her head, exposing more of that neck whilst he made the woman’s hair stand on end. She couldn’t quite grasp all he said, not with his touch and that growing bulge against her trembling hips, but it was enough to gather he came here for her though in what fashion he may entertain himself during the trip had obviously been left out of the equation. The supple mound in his hand had already swelled and firmed, molding against his touch through what was once a pure white gown.

“Ahhn .. A-Aegir sent you?” That came as a bit of a surprise, but a welcome one. It certainly changed things. If true, they had better discuss the matter of adequate company throughout the trip, or what instructions they were given in the future. The telepath sent none too friendly aliens before, and once again his choice of subordinates wound up wreaking havoc on her senses.

She certainly didn’t trust this one to take care of her with any sort of decency, but he was better than the alternative. At least it seemed that way on the surface. Indeed, they were losing time as well, and circumstances required her to burn through this drug and rest more than attempting another fruitless escape, deeper into the woods.

“Fine. I .. I’ll be your pilot.” Phoebe gasped in frustration, still pinned to his torso, stifling a groan through gritted teeth. “W-We’re wasting time by staying here, aren’t we? I’ll do as you ask ..”

“Yes, he sent me. I had to drop what I was doing because of you.” There was a little resentment in that then his voice dipped to a purr. “I'm sure you'll be worth it little one.” Both hands held her by the torso tightly.

Then those wings unfurled and he sprang into the air easily carrying her from the spot. From the sky she could see various figures here and there. The easiest group for her to see were the three downed hunters in the clearing along with Luna and Gorjen. The remnants of the war bot had been there as well.

Tougher to see were the groups moving in on the position they had just vacated with what she imagined was the Voren in the lead as he quickly moved through the terrain stopping here and there to sniff at the air then picking up her scent again turning this way and that.

Gorjen's ship came into view but her savior ignored it. Hidden in a rocky area was an ADD vessel. She had seen it, perhaps he did not as he flew towards the other ships nearby. There were three vessels and a single bounty hunter here securing the ships. She had been dropped off nearby before her would be savior departed again returning shortly to fetch her. All the while that drug burned through her stronger than he had affected her before.

Shortly he returned for her taking her back to the ships. The hunter was down, unconscious and face down with scorch marks on the back of the protective vest that he wore. She noted shallow breathing and the occasional twitch.

“Your choice.” Each had been a freighter of some sort. While they varied in specs they were modified for different purposes though it would take some time to figure out how. Each could hold half a dozen or so passengers and based on the standard specs she knew of one was heavily armored, the closest legal craft to a fighter given the power of the guns and shields. The other two were quicker, roughly the same from what she could recall.

He didn't seem to care which. Only one had it's door opened, one of the quicker ones. The one that was guarded. The other two were probably locked but there was no telling. The hunter was probably here to secure all the vessels. Whichever she picked she was followed up the ramp and into the cockpit.

Sitting in the co-pilot's seat he flicked switches and went through pre-flight procedures. That much he knew. “Whenever you're ready.” He announced with little fanfare as he glanced at her knowing just what hell that aphrodisiac had on mortals.

Post Re: The Search (for Phoebe)
Additional armaments were a boon in most situations, especially had they breached the atmosphere and encountered other surprises there, but time was of the essence and one of those ships had already been unlocked before they got there. Standing before them with open doors, Phoebe wasn’t about to pass up on this opportunity. Being one of the quicker models, it certainly wouldn’t disappoint though she’d have preferred a fighter or scouting vessel over freighters any day. She took to the ship’s ramp in short order, fighting the swell of carnal urges that shot through her groin and belly, bubbling up more and more as that volatile drug threatened to usurp her every thought.

Why someone guarded this one in particular, or whether the others were locked or not, Phoebe hadn’t cared enough to find out upon easing into the pilot’s seat, looking over controls and layout before going through the basics. Power levels for one, then running diagnostics with a focus on engine condition and overall structural integrity. These black holes were distant relatively speaking, but they could prove troublesome on the way out.

Yellow eyes flickered to the alien for a moment as the ramp had been shut at long last. At least he seemed to know what he was doing. She went through a small checklist with him while running preliminary sensor sweeps, a search for ships and the like potentially waiting for them in orbit. There were enough surprises here for one day. They really couldn’t use any more than they faced thus far.

“Ignition. Start.” Engines roared to life with a tremor rippling through the ship, a sensation which gradually bled over into a faint, inaudible hum. She pulled away from the planet hard, putting a fair bit of strain on the machine though they had to be quick about leaving. The other hunters may soon catch on what happened to one of their ships, and Phoebe would rather not risk losing it again.

What remained of her coherent thoughts wandered to Luna for a moment, then Viryon. The agent kept her word, but both she and the one in support of escorting her from the planet safely may have been too out of it to escape on their own. Where was Viryon now? She may never know. Phoebe shook her head, a surge of warmth flushing those tender cheeks. She’d risked a lot coming all this way, to help a former ally and save close friends in the process. Almost none of it worked out well. No more taking steps back, she thought. Luna would be on her own.

Small glistening beads of sweat adorned her forehead as they took to the sky. Already, these milky thighs were caught up in a constant shift of posture. She pressed and rubbed them together, gasping absentmindedly, before spreading them apart, anything to try and ease the molten warmth which pervaded her every aching cell.

Post Re: The Search (for Phoebe)
The hunter must have been in place to secure the vessels. Whatever the case there were no surprises out in space for them. No other ships were immediately detected though one could have been using one of the moons to stay hidden from sensors. He must have read her mind as he spoke up then.

“There's a ship there tasked with cutting Gorjen off should he manage to flee. Keep it nice and slow.” He gazed at her patting the back of her hand. “See, nothing to worry about.”

He was doing something on communications while not contacting the other ship directly he used a burst transmission similar to a distress call indicating an all clear perhaps. There were no signs of the ship, however. They were on the look out for Gorjen's vessel and this had been one of their own.

They had nearly navigated the black holes before the ship would appear on sensors high tailing it towards them. Likely alerted by someone on planet. Other ships back at the planet, more distant had appeared on their sensors but they were gone making a jump before any could catch up.

He turned to her then, basking in her condition. Then he stood up. “Now what to do with you. I was only suppose to get you out of that mess. Well, that's not entirely true. Aegir made mention of some doctor, Kurgan I think his name was.

“I'd rather be getting back to what I was doing but I suppose I have to take care of this mess first. Tell me about this doctor? Where was he last? I'm no bounty hunter but have a vast intelligence network that keeps me appraised of a few things. It gets tiring to have to check in with Aegir each month, so much easier if he'd let me use communications but he doesn't like tech so my network isn't as vast as I'd like. Still it covers this sector of space.”

He was deliberately ignoring the obvious at the moment as if he hadn't done whatever it was to her in the first place.

Post Re: The Search (for Phoebe)
Stars lit up before them, whipping past when the faster than light drives kicked in, and the sensors showed none of their recent pursuers anymore. They made the jump. What should’ve eased all tension only enhanced it, however, as Phoebe had been on edge in more ways than one.

A jolt of blistering erotic heat entered her through his touch. The faintest tap on the back of her hand became another dose of molten hot bliss which forced the girl to press her lips together in order to stifle whatever sensuous sounds welled up deep inside her throat. Their crimson swell trembled with suppressed desire, merely adding to her look of lust and frustration, the former of which she was simply trying to drown and hide for as long as humanly possible.

She squirmed faintly in her seat, unable to hide what became ever more obvious as the man stood. Up above, the throbbing protrusions in her dress did more than hint at the tide of blood surging into aching teats, with more of her torn dress having worked its way up twitching thighs given her constant struggle against this nightmarish need.

All that distracted her now ended up being his willingness to help, although all things considered Phoebe suspected he may be playing with her again. He did so back at the club, and in the here and now he certainly thrust her into this state of maddening carnal thirst deliberately, not accidentally. However, it was worth a try. She’d have done all within her power to set Kurgan free.

It took her a moment to muster enough strength to speak up again. Nails bite into the captain’s seat now that controls were no longer necessary, her back against the leather whilst a heaving chest revealed just how puffed up those lovely cherry peaks had become. “Kurgan is .. some kind of wolven humanoid .. A Voren.” She made mention of the one specimen back on the planet, still uncertain as to whether or not he’s seen that one or not. It certainly kept her from explaining every little thing, but knowing him he’d feign ignorance to torment her senses unless he didn’t know about that altered mouth of hers.

Still, Kurgan’s appearance had been rather unusual for his kind, alongside an unusual profession which made him stand out. He was shorter than most members of his race, similar in height to Phoebe herself, and the male’s white fur had to be another rare aspect of theirs. His expertise in certain areas had been mentioned though she doubted that’d help them locate him in the long run.

“We were captured by .. Well, one of them assured me they weren’t slavers. To be perfectly honest, I don’t know if they were pirates or anything of the sort, but they kept Kurgan with them.” Leaning forward from the waist up, cloth shifting pleasantly against pulsing mammaries, Phoebe conjured up their most likely point of capture though it’d have been impossible for him to tell just where they were coming from and where they were headed off to, at least without mind reading powers she suspected he may have possessed. Yet the location was an estimation based on distance traveled once they were returning to their employer. She was out for most of the trip, in fact right up until the very end of it.

“Lyssis Falcrest.” Simply uttering the woman’s name brought a flare of emotion to her aching body, a sense of venomous disdain that relieved her body for a moment. She bit down on her tongue, trying to keep it from tingling with anticipation. “Mngh .. She .. She’s the one that’s in command, I believe. The one that brought me to Raleigh .. A big scaly one, dark brown complexion, someone they call Faulk .. He was referring to Lyssis as his Mistress. A subordinate of his told me there were other ships as well, so it may be a mercenary band of sorts and thus easier to find.”

As far as finding Kurgan was concerned, Phoebe told him all there was to know. What they looked like, what armor they had, the ship’s overall layout and design. Whatever may help him had been provided, but ultimately the tension simply became too much to bear.

She needed a bit of privacy. Something told her he could very well read thoughts, perhaps only what came to mind though there was no guarantee he couldn’t look deeper into what his companion knew, memories and the like. Even if the latter had been impossible, he must’ve known how close she was to exploit every opportunity to suck on her fingers, or rub her smoldering hot form against the often cold, comforting leather. She had to get away or make a mess of the seat right beside him.

“Say .. We .. We don’t really have destination right now.” Shifting just barely from one side to the other, the woman’s damp thong twisted cruelly against throbbing, quaking bundles of nerves, dragging across an ever engorged clit which sparked bursts of electricity that’d roll through her loins in an instant. She grimaced, gritting her teeth whilst her eyes fluttered, unable to maintain this charade any longer. “If there’s a place you want to visit, we can let the autopilot handle matters for now. I .. I won’t run, but .. I’ll need to rest a little after all this ..”

However, Phoebe didn’t move from the spot. She felt subdued, trapped, confined even, as if he had to give her permission to leave. Her powers would be of little use against him, he showed that much. Whether an associate of Aegir’s or a mere subordinate, his instructions appeared to have ended with her rescue. Worse, while he seemed to have no interest in harming her physically, perhaps due to Aegir’s interest in the blonde herself, nothing could keep him from enjoying her in other ways. This man, whatever he was, wasn’t obligated to grant her a moment of peace.

Post Re: The Search (for Phoebe)
He gazed at her rubbing his chin as she mentioned Lysiss. He was caught up in thought but hadn't interrupted her allowing her to continue. With mention of Faulk it was too much of a coincidence. The hint of a grin could be seen at the corners of his mouth.

Then he tapped on the nav computer plugging in the coordinates that she fed him. “That was were you found Falcrest?” He studied the star charts running his finger down the screen until it stopped. “The club is here.”

Once again his finger moved though not that far. “And we are around here.” It did not appear that he had been aware of her altered tongue. He did not press her for additional information on Voren being familiar with them it seemed. Either partnered up with the one on planet or having had dealt with them before in some way.

He studied the map for a moment longer contemplating something in his head. “I know of Faulk, if it's the same person of course. The galaxy is such a large place but judging by your description I'm fairly certain it's the same guy.

“He's not a slaver. A pirate mercenary. I've worked on one of his ships though I've never seen him.”
He gazed at her for a moment letting her digest that. “He has plenty of vessels. Half dozen, maybe more. The name of the other one, Lyra, Lysiss, I vaguely remember. Someone might have mentioned it in ear shot of me. As far as I can recall Faulk had no boss then. He wanders about with his flotilla jumping in and out of systems before the locals realize he's there. Law enforcement, military, whatever could deal with him if they ever cornered him.”

After that he went back to scrutinizing the map until she interrupted. No course had been set and he had assumed that she jumped out of the system by plugging in the quickest coordinates out of there. A small jump which would require them to plug in others once they were clear of the immediate area.

He took her chin in his hand stroking her cheek with his thumb. He gazed into her eyes then nodded slightly. “Of course you won't. We're in space so unless you are particularly suicidal ...” He trailed off letting his touch slip away. This time he did not infuse her, or was she too infused to notice.

“You may go. But be careful, in grabbing this ship we didn't have time to check it for security features, droids and anything else. I doubt that there is anything to be concerned with. I'm going to explore this vessel. I think … well later with that.” He dismissed her with a wave of his hands.

After a good amount of time he found her. In his arms he had a bunch of folded clothes that he set down. A bit baggy, paramilitary gear though there were no weapons that he brought along. “Things are fairly standard as far as vessels go. There is a medical droid, an empty brig and enough food stores for about a week.” He paused. “You may call me Gersham, not that that name should mean anything to you. Not unless you follow gladiatorial matches.” He didn't think she had but that wasn't important.

“I've plugged in coordinates to our destination. I'm assuming you didn't want to go back to that club. There's something I wish to check out first, afterwards you can stay or go.

“I don't imagine you can communicate with Aegir. Saves me the trouble of going all the way back to Shokushu to report in about this.”

Post Re: The Search (for Phoebe)
After enduring far more than back at the club, one had to wonder whether there was any part of her that spine tingling bliss and desire could infuse. Saturated, aching with need, every moment of conscious thought had become another seemingly endless period of erotic torture. Gersham may have grown bored of raising these maddening levels of lust even further, but Phoebe needed an outlet all the same and couldn’t have been any more grateful for being allowed to slip away from him without humiliating herself in his presence any further.

She burned through it. Seeking out whatever bedchamber she could find, her memories as to when a hand of hers slithered beneath that torn dress, mauling an engorged globe to the feel of a free hand slipping two fingers into her mouth, remained nothing short of foggy. Salty beads of sweat glistened her being, hot and unable to cool the cascade of molten warmth that claimed her time and time again when the very same digits drifted across her chest, then her belly, then lower still to fulfill these eternal needs for who knows how long.

The room had been bearing the sweet scent of sex by the time Gersham arrived. Phoebe sat on the edge of the bed, with disheveled sheets and shallow, panting breaths indicating business hadn’t concluded all that long ago. Her dress fared no better, a shoulder left exposed as the wanton blonde struggled with making herself presentable again.

Where frustration and pleasure once occupied her thoughts, fatigue had conquered and claimed their places in both the girl’s body and mind. She ached for a moment of respite though there was no time for it yet. Not yet, she thought, not when he could help her find Kurgan though trusting anybody at this point was truly testing her resolve.

The clothes were a welcome sight though she wouldn’t put them on without having a shower first. All in due time, it seemed, when Gersham went on to explain that he’d set the coordinates for their next stop. “Gersham it is,” she responded dryly, still catching her breath with flushed cheeks, a mere indicator that each lungful of air tended to those altered cells of hers though he may not know about any of that. “I’m not too big into gladiatorial matches .. Not that I’ve had the chance to follow them even if I wanted to.”

When it came to contacting Aegir, Phoebe hesitated. She happened to be out of options for some time, really, and winding up with someone working for the telepath was a blessing. That didn’t mean she looked forward to pointing out she had something that’d make communicating with him much easier.

“I should be able to contact Aegir from here .. with this ..” Her eyes and touch dipped to the piercing concealed beneath her dress, and pushing it up tight against the woman’s smooth, tender belly revealed the faint silhouette of an anchor against ever more supple flesh. “I haven’t had the chance to check if it’s fried yet. Never expected to be running into that EMP back there .. though since it’s coming from the man himself it may have survived the pulse.”

Once that had been cleared up, Phoebe encapsulated it with her hand and activated the device, speaking her savior’s name out loud to try and reach out to him. With any luck there happened to be no permanent damage to the anchor and he’d respond, thus allowing her to relay the current situation and whatever report Gersham meant to give.

Post Re: The Search (for Phoebe)
Clearly Gersham realized what she had been up to with the state of her attire and the scent that clung in the air. Regardless he didn't draw attention to it, likely he knew that she knew and that seemed like it was enough for the time being. There were more pressing matters to get to than gloating about the fact that she was unable to resist herself.

“You are on a bit of the small size so I reasoned that you wouldn't be familiar with the arena. Any slaver that acquired you wouldn't waste their time training up someone so small. It rarely happens but spectators wish to have the illusion that a gladiatrix can win a contest.”

He neglected to mention that he had been defeated, not that he had been embarrassed by that prospect. He enjoyed fighting, enjoyed the thrill of losing. It had been a series of contests with the same opponent that touched him fondly upon remembrance.

He eyed her with a grin splashing over his features. “Good. That saves time if it works.” Once again he was touching her, a hand rubbing against the side of her face delighting in the fact that she flinched away or surprised that she held her ground.

That touch had been warm and soft, a gentle caress that ended with him slipping a strand of hair behind her ear. Fortunately this time there was no drugging effect. He didn't seem surprised that she was unaffected either so it didn't appear as if he was attempting to drug her this time at least.

“EMP, EMP ...” he lifted up an index finger as if to silence her as he worked something out. “Oh, yes, electric magnetic pulse … you see I haven't been given a full suite of memories to this era. Just what I've managed to teach myself. He could have given them to me, Aegir, but I suppose he didn't think they were necessary. Still he could have updated me given what he tasked me to do.”

He sighed taking his hand away only to rest it on her shoulder now absently stroking it as one would stroke the head of a pet while she attempted to contact Aegir. There was nothing at first and just as she had been about to give up she could hear him in her mind from across the stars.

There had been no telling how expensive and well crafted the anchor piercing had been but it was more potent than real time holo communications and far better shielded.

Aegir had her inform him as to what had transpired more or less getting the cliff notes unless she had been detailed about things.

I apologize for sending that Tulpa but he was the closest asset I had to your position at the time. Knowing him he has not been forthcoming in telling you that he is at your disposal for recovering your people. From what I have gathered this Lysiss knows where one of the stones are given those words she spoke are parts of the theatrics in using a stone. It may be nothing, text of a holy book passed down along the lines but there is a good chance she knows something.

Which makes you fortunate since your surgeon was with her. From your prior communication I was able to piece together a few things and since it is probable that Lysiss is with Kurgan then it makes sense to me to have him assist you in this endeavor. Make no mistake about it, his priority will be Lysiss but while he's dealing with that you might be able to benefit.

How are you on resources?

Gersham, unable to listen in gave her a rather quizzical look as he waited for her to finish.

Post Re: The Search (for Phoebe)
As Gersham basked in the feel of her smooth, peachy complexion, Phoebe did flinch though froze about halfway through escaping him completely for the young blonde ended up being torn on whether eluding that touch or embracing it had been preferable given her currently addled state of mind. Not a trace of that vile drug entered her system, and for a time that alone shocked her more than his continued interest in feeling her up. It got her wondering whether it was appraisal or appreciation, or perhaps a fleeting anticipation with regards to her response to his advances.

After having endured his presence and lingering influence on more than one occasion, it began to dawn on her that he enjoyed setting her teeth on edge. She looked over with a flustered expression, but didn’t move as he explored her wares, tucking a shock of hair behind an ear, curious as to what he intended to do with her while they were still trapped aboard one and the same ship.

Sure, a man handsome on all accounts save for a third eye wouldn’t have discomforted her much, but he seemed to relish tormenting her senses a bit too much. The way he viewed her, treated her, stroked her even while attempting to communicate with Aegir made Phoebe feel as though he was grooming her for a particular role, mostly the one she just escaped from. At the club, he showed interest in more than simply retrieving her, and for once she’d hoped it wouldn’t play out as it did in the back of her mind.

With Aegir on the line, however, her focus steered toward the matter at hand. It dulled the tempting sensations left by each and every caress, something she’d grown far too used to to be able to be repulsed by them in the long run.

“Gersham tells me we’re good for about a week though I haven’t checked myself.” Yellow eyes flick up to meet her partner’s own, her grimace taking on a hint of surprise and contentment alike as she clutched the anchor tight. “I didn’t know he’s here to help me recover Kurgan either, so there’s that .. but, that just means I’ll stick with him a little while longer.”

The plan was to seek out whatever place Gersham needed to visit in the first place. Afterwards, they could tend to Lysiss and thus Kurgan, an opportunity she wouldn’t want to pass up on. Whether he was actually with her or not, Phoebe fully intended to be there in the off chance that her former doctor and lover actually happened to be close by.

There may not have been a quiver in her voice though it could’ve been just as well, especially with Gersham so close, once everything else had been conveyed to Aegir in as timely a fashion as humanly possible. “I don’t suppose there’s something I can do to keep him from treating me like a pet, is there?”

Post Re: The Search (for Phoebe)
Aegir listened and absorbed all she had to say. I'm afraid not. As a Tulpa I created I could eradicate him but that would mean loosing this particular Tulpa and having to recreate him. And the new Tulpa could only be created within my line of sight so it would take some time to get to you after procuring a ship.

Frankly that one can't be erased unless it returns to my line of sight or remains away for too long. He was modeled after a creation of mine combining both Fae and demon, incubus in his case. He has a few weaknesses that you may be able to exploit in order to keep him in line. He loves one on one combat, which would probably do you little good. He also enjoys games; challenges and the like. You may dissuade him temporarily if there is a reward for accomplishing a task. Something worth playing for.

Hm ...
Aegir actually paused as if considering something for a few seconds. He has some psychic talent, reading minds and such. However, a meager defense thwarts it. Even rudimentary and unpolished skills such as yours will block it. He is quite perceptive, however, you will be unable to lie to him. He will know it as untrue even if he is not aware of the actual lie itself he will know that there is something deceptive going on. He can gauge how people are likely to move … I don't know if it will actually work but you could try using the word forest, long story …

More important that touch of his, I know that he had to have used it, can work to opposite effect. It can quell desire as much as inflame it. He may be able to simmer your desire when it becomes to much to deal with. Convincing him to use it is another matter.

In any event you have him for at most three weeks before he has to return here or cease to exist. I can recreate him but all the knowledge he has obtained between visits will be lost. So anything he has learned in the last week will be erased, I don't know if that will impact anything crucial.

As much as he may seem blase about his so called death he actually doesn't wish to be extinguished in his present incarnation, though he is unaware of that at present. I will leave you to make whatever preparations you must.

Gersham remained close by unaware of what was spoken directly into her mind. He waited until she had finished her “conversation” before tucking a hand beneath her chin, his thumb rubbing at it with a thumb. “Finished?”

Post Re: The Search (for Phoebe)
Almost nothing could’ve made matters worse when it came to keeping Gersham in line. Indeed, his unfortunate traveling companion never happened to be much of a fighter. She brought those types where they needed to be, dropped them off and picked them back no matter the circumstances, but that was a long time ago. Serving various owners, none saw much of a need to train her up save for Gorjen who spared her senses long enough to hone her telekinesis at least a little bit.

As for games, the number of challenges aboard the ship were limited, even more so the rewards that could be offered. What could he really want anyway? She lacked valuable items, especially in the here and now, and that anchor would be going nowhere anytime soon. She may have offered herself though what would be the point of playing for something he could just as well take whenever he pleased? The thrill of making her his of her volition, perhaps?

Of all things, he had to be Fae and Incubus in one. Whatever drove a venerable telepath to create such a thing, Phoebe didn’t know. What she did know were whatever select few fantasy novels she’d glossed over back during her time on Shokushu. Pixies were Fae, and they were rather playful, hence he enjoyed games and tormenting her in much the same way. Incubi were counterparts to succubi, and their salacious tales were all she recalled from memory, but it was enough to deduce where this whole situation may have been headed.

That familiar touch returned, making her wince. Goosebumps sprouted across soft, milky skin almost immediately. Phoebe’s back arched on the spot as the young blonde straightened, visibly shook for the fraction of a second given her expectations. She knew what a fleeting caress could do when he willed it, and continuously rubbing her chin merely amplified how futile her efforts to resist may have been in the long run.

“Quite.” She muttered a response, relinquishing her hold on the piercing while locking eyes with Gersham for a moment or two before continuing, still enduring the man’s touch. Phoebe didn’t force him to stop, thinking it’d be inevitable to suffer these molten tides of bliss sooner or later, but she’d gone through enough not to back down despite her anticipation and quickening pulse. “Are you?”

She wouldn't hide what was being said except for all Aegir revealed about him. Maybe Gersham knew, perhaps he did not, but she thought it best to keep that to herself for now. Unless he’d denied her a moment of deliberate movement as well, Phoebe would stand up from the edge of the bed albeit slowly, not daring to incur his wrath. “I was just told a couple of things about you.” A hand of hers drifted to where he’d tucked a shock of blonde hair behind her ear, absentmindedly freeing it as it tingled ever so slightly against her there. “Aegir tells me you enjoy games though after seeing what you can do I’m already starting to doubt my ability to challenge you in any way .. but, perhaps that’s something we can spend our time on while we’re still in transit. We’ll be stuck together for some time, after all. Wouldn’t want you to grow tired of me this early on.”

“First things first ..” As her gaze wandered to where he’d set down fresh clothes, then to the adjoining bath, her stance on matters became a bit more clear as Phoebe attempted to step away from him. “If you don’t mind, I’d prefer showering by myself.”

Post Re: The Search (for Phoebe)
A smile had been her answer followed by a shrug. For the moment she had suffered from his attention, there had been no one else aboard to distract him and no challenges that opposed him at present.

He watched her as she stood his eye telling reading the movements in her muscles tracing all those subtle movements and calculating how she would move. Which muscles tensed, which relaxed, they all gave him a little idea. The calculations had been made with no conscious effort on his part.

“All good,” he grinned a little at that disclosure. If he had been aware of any restrictions or had any fear concerning what she had learned he didn't show it.

“Games, yes. The chance of failure is the driving force behind them. Games are no fun if their outcome is fixed or certain. It wouldn't be a game then. Oh, but I am certain that there are challenges that you can win. Piloting for instance. Of course to be a real game, a real challenge there has to be some chance of winning and some of loosing otherwise it's all just a waste of time.

“Now some sort of piloting game wouldn't interest me, no chance of winning a direct contest against you. Nor would say arm wrestling. While I cannot say for certainty that I am stronger not knowing all the facts such as your actual species, whether or not your arm is artificial and so on I'm fairly certain you are human and your limb is your own.

I am sure we can find something interesting.”
He considered for a moment, his eyes glancing towards the clothes then back at her.

“That's no fun.” He touched the tip of her nose and for a moment it seemed as if he was going to infuse her with that aphrodisiac again but he refrained letting his hand drift away. “I suppose I'll have a look around. Can't send messages in subspace and even if I could they'd still take time to reach their destination. This ship doesn't have one of the fancier military grade com relays that allows for real time communication. Expensive stuff from what I hear.”

Gersham wandered off letting her take her shower and getting up to who knew what. When next she saw him he had a data pad that he kept scrutinizing as he paced back and forth a section of corridor. He wrapped his knuckles on the bulkhead and walls every so often then looked to the pad took a few steps and repeated the process.

Finally noticing her. “I have a question … how well trained are you? Blasters and so on? Standard ADD training? A crack shot?”

Post Re: The Search (for Phoebe)
Some concern arose from knowing fully well Gersham explored the ship in greater detail than she did. While he delivered news on what he found her trust in him had been fairly limited although his restraint in terms of not pinning her down and molesting her had been commendable, all things considered. She had looked over to the bathroom door from time to time nevertheless, always scanning the premises for his return as soothing, steaming delights poured across every creak, every crevice of milky, tingly flesh, cleansing the shame of having burned through her desires in one strenuous session.

Truth be told, Phoebe would’ve loved to slump head first into bed and simply succumb to slumber for once. Gorjen drained her physically and mentally. Afterwards, exhausted even further while on the run, drawing upon psychic powers and stamina alike, the covers never looked so soft before. Since Gersham chose to infuse her with that aphrodisiac, however, her eyelids were heavier than ever.

Yet they had to continue on and Phoebe did her part, slipping into the offered paramilitary gear that proved nothing short of baggy. Given her petite stature, that didn’t come as a surprise. God knows why she ended up looking for Gersham upon finishing up here, perhaps because he happened to be the only other soul on the ship.

She approached, the faint tap of boots on the ground though her steps ground to a halt when he noticed her, the girl answering his question truthfully as if still expecting a Master to punish her for daring to lie. Not that there was any reason to, she thought, the question seemed quite harmless. “Standard, I’d say .. They wouldn’t let me pilot without passing a regular evaluation from my superiors .. I’ve never been the best of sharpshooters, but I know how to do it. Still, I haven’t really used blasters much outside of that trip during which I first met Lysiss.”

She tapped the vein of her neck where her collar had been for emphasis. “Slave, remember?” Though shattered and thus absent since her rescue, the weight of servitude still dragged her down. Aside from living life with her friends while looking for the stones Aegir had an interest in, she’d always been enslaved since the day Vespira’s subordinates first captured her. There wasn’t much of a need to train with a weapon, let alone use it as anything other than a deterrent to strangers with the wrong ideas regarding a free human, and most potential trouble had been avoided in the first place.

“Why do you ask?” Phoebe cocked an eyebrow at that, having wondered why these skills would even matter. As far as one could tell, he had abilities which far surpassed her own, and he seemed to be using them with practiced ease. “Are you thinking about some sort of shooting competition or does this revolve around our destination?”
