I don't know, I'm kind of reflecting on some stuff right now. Not sure if it sounds lame or not but heck *shrug*. Has a lot of meaning.

One day our hands will touch again,
I'll see you someday soon my friend.
That day the firey reign did pass,
Memories of when we saw you last.
I close my eyes to our song beats,
I cling to the covers of my cherry seats.
I hold the band that says your name,
I'll never truly be the same.
The sound of your voice is beginning to fade,
I hope your soul to rest, was laid.
Your laugh I remember loud and clear,
Wishing everyday that you were here.
Wherever you are I hope you see,
How much you really meant to me.
We had our times of laughs and pain,
That time* we shared in the rain.
I know you've saved us once before,
It was a sign we can't ignore.
I know you're there with her forever,
Someday we'll all be there together.
In that place of our hopes and dreams,
That place we can almost touch and see.
Redemption for our greatest flaws.
I'll see you there in Shangri-La.

Wow! Incredible depth of emotion! It brings tears to my eyes! Excellent rhyme shceme and meter; It has a very lyrical quality.
