I'm sitting in the Common room watching the Storm clouds roll in from the sea lightning flashes the lights flicker I look around to see who's there.
<This doesn't look to good!>
Saying this to whoever is listening.


The lights flicker once more then DARKNESS desends as the lights go out
Across the entire School Screams and Curses are heard across the Campus ?

I was just reading my manga in the common when I looked out the window and see the storm clouds rolling "heh another storm rolling.." I say to my self I would go back to reading my manga before the lights went out I looked around and hear another girl and say "well this is first...."

I sat in the common room looking at the potted plant in the corner; I had left my friend Peri in my room today just not to seem odd It was bad enough people were calling me plant whisperer and Mad Scientist during that time. Then I began to regret not bringing the little guy as the lights went out I hadn't noticed the storm outside until then. the lights went out and I just sighed as the school seemed to scream in unison. I turned to hear a girl speak shortly before glad my skirt wasn't dragging on the floor. I was in the common room, I wore my usual layer upon layer to hide my curves.

"Definitely need to make a power source that's not effected by effected by weather..."
I said shaking my head with a slight laugh; my entire dorm was powered by Peri so I didn't much care if the school's power was out for whenever I got back.

OOC: Room for one more?

Kari looked at her lamp as it suddenly went out. By the sound of the screaming coming from down the halls, she assumed the power was out from the thunderstorm.

She was used to the dark. Many times came where she had to move in the shroud of the night. She hopped off her bed and slid her door open. SHe crept outside into the hallway, slowly closing the door afterwards.

"It's not safe being alone now," she said to herself. "We are all most vulnerable to monster attacks with the power out."

OOC: I know monsters can't attack here, but they don't know that.

[Useing what little light coming from the windows and the occaasional
Lightning flash]
<Hi how's everyone? I think we should move to the center of the room!>
[I start to move towards the center arms outstreached]

I nodded slightly following the voice with the little light that came from occasional lightning however as my luck would be that day, I felt something slip from my face and heard the shattering of glass against tiles. I crouched then to gather what was left of my glasses; only one side survived the fall but, it was enough to see... even if my depth perception suffered.

"Certainly seems like a wise course of action."
I said aloud feeling around until another flash lit the walls of the room to show me I was where she had suggested.

[On hearing the thumps and bumps as well as the occasional Curse being
muttered...Hanaji thinks that she might of goofed with her idea but a the time she thought it was sound]

[As her hand brushed something or someone?]

I jumped slightly when I felt a hand brush against m with a soft sigh. It wasn't like any of them could see any better. I pulled my glasses off my face and placed them in their case; or what was left of them in the least.

"It's alright, Not like you can see any better than I can... actually scratch that you can at least see when the lightning flashes..."
I laughed a little bit looking in Hanaji's general direction.

[Looking in the toward the voice I offer my hands to the girl]
<You Ok I'm Hanaji,This blackout is unerving come on lets head towards the center of the room there's a set of lounge sofas there>
[Bumping my way along occasionaly Cursing as I hit something]

I used her shulder as a bit of a guide forward given that everything was a big gray blur to me, I had at least been able to make out shapes before. It was probably more unnerving to me than most of the others who could see.

"I'm Erica, only problem I can see... well... I can't see even if the lights were on but, my glasses broke."

I told her simply letting her help me along towards the center of the room.

Kari fell down as one of the girls bumped into her.

"Ah! Watch it!" she said, standing up. "Don't any of you have a flashlight?"

<Oh I'm sorry to hear that Erica I'll lead you to the Sofa hopfully someone has a light or something>
[Feeling this girls hand on my shoulder helps calm my own rising fears]

"Alright... what should we talk about then?"

I decided to let her have the topic seeing that my topics would be... more out of her league than anything els given my unusual hobbies.

"Umm...."

All that was processing in Kari's mind were things like "Monsters, Vampires, spooks, goblins, Saw, The Hills Have Eyes 2, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Disturbia, Black Christmas!!!"

She grasped the girls hand, comforting her.

"Um, what about "Who's on first?"" she asked. "Recite the whole skit out loud to one another."

I just blinked, it sounded like another of those subjects i knew nothing about. I kind of scratched my neck looking in the wrong direction obviously more blind then they were right now.

"Comedy certainly isn't something I know anything of. forgive me if you would... perhaps if you start it I can pick it up."
