It's mid-afternoon by the time she actually makes it outside. The world outside her quilt is cold, and the weirdness of this place is just sucking all the willpower out of her. Fuck school. She's decided to skip out on classes for the day, and it's well after four by the time she's out near the woods in full gear - low cut blue pumas; a pair of green lycra running pants, hugging tight around her hips, her ass, her legs, and flaring out just near her ankle; a matching dark sports bra. Her hair's tied back and tugged over with a patagonia skull cap. She stretches briefly: knees touching her toes and ass touching the sky, legs kicked out and lifted high against the trunks of nearby trees... and then she's off dipping into the forest, weaving through trees, feet pounding the uneven ground of the woods with no more difficulty than a level track.

Hmm...finally she's left the grounds. Flitting through the trees was a small brown shape, quietly swerving behind branches to hide it's presence as it followed the jogging girl. I've got quite a surprise in store for you....just wander a little further into my grasp.... In the bushes far in front of the girl, a rustling sound arose, moving away from her, deeper into the forest. It sounded like a small animal scurrying away.*

But the noise, off-guard as she is, takes her by surprise. Her foot catches on an outcropping root, her ankle twisting as it sends her tumbling forward. She catches herself on her hands, hissing between her teeth... "Goddammit..."
