"Why not ask something about how to use magic, what kinds there are...if you don't need to ask that's fine too," she explains to the nervous girl.

Violett nodded nervously. "I din't even think to ask... What kinds are there, and how do you use it? Is it just words and hand gestures, or is there more to it?"

Violett winced involuntarily.

"Um... I don't really wanna use the kind that can hurt people..."

"Or I might just suck. If somethign goes wrong, how likely is it tu hurt someone other than me?"

"Not very likely. All drawbacks are to the user most of the time. Unless your aiming to hit something err....then I may have to hide," she jokes but is actually taking it into consideration.

Violett shook her head, looking distressed.

"I just want something that lets me have light whenever I need it, really. I don't wanna do dangerous stuff! Did... did people hurt you? Is that why you had to learn these things?"

She clears her throat and tries to keep herself from reminiscing to much into her past. It was a very tpuchy subject to go in really.

"I didn't have to, I wanted to. TO defend myself. You of course know there will always be a bully who can get under your skin right? Well...I had five of those and they wouldn't stop no matter how much i tried to ignore or avoid them. They just egging eachother on so...it wasn't until I realized my potential and that fateful day of kicking their sorry asses without even touching them did I see who and what i could become...simple as that."

She looks to her rather lazily and plays around with her now empty can.

Violett got up, shaking all over, but glaring at Clarice in anger.

"You're terrible, Miss Clarity. If you thought you had to do that I can respect it... But if you enjoyed it that just puts you right down there on the same level as them!"

She was glad everyone had left by this point. The last thing she needed was to get into an argument while people were watching.

She gives a soft chuckle and shakes her head, deliberatly rolling her eyes at Violett as she picked up herself up to walk away.

"Yes, I may have enjoyed it, but not in the that assuming sense you have. I enjoyed my peace when they left me be. I most certainly enjoyed that I was the one who got in trouble and got hit by my father for it," she states and turns swiftly around with cold glaring eyes of rage herself. "The last damn thing I need is someone who hardly knows me to start judging me for my actions!" she hisses and lifts her hand to smack her across the face. She bites her lip and balls her fist before slowly putting it down. She turns her head away in emotional turmoil as she gives Violett this saddened look of betrayel.

"You have no idea how badly you have hurt me. To think after helping you break your fall...you push right down the rest of the stairs..." she whispers softly, unable to control her voice as she gives a soft sigh. Though what she had just spoke sounded abit harsh, its how it felt. To be called 'like them' hurt worse then anything else she had gone through.

Violett backed away, tears in her eyes... then rushed forward to hug the girl again, whether she liked it or not.

"I'm sorry, Miss Clarise... I shouldn't have said that... I just... I don't like hurting people and it scares me when people talk about it like it's something that should be done..."

"I know that!...I know that. Look, I don't want to argue. fact is is that I had to because no one else would help me. It got my mom and my dad to divorce because of it and I always carry this guilt inside...even if he was a jerk. I...forgive you for saying what you said. I understand how it must've sounded."

She gives a soft smile and returns the hug fully, patting the girl's back as her composure regains itself completely.

"I can only imagine you've been picked at too. Atleast if you learn something from me you'll be able to defend instead of attacking like I did."

"Or escape," Violett added hopefully.
