"My name is..... Evangeline... and I'm trying to be nice to you."

Smiling shyly, Violett extended a hand.

"Violett Small... With two ts... And you don't have to if you don't want to, but thank you so very much, Miss Evangeline."

Evangeline didn't shake her hand, but instead bowed; she doesn't know what shaking hands is.

"So why were you crying, Violett?"

Violett curtsied, blushind a little.

"J-just an attack of self-consciousness, Miss Evangeline... I'm rreally sorry tot rouble you."

Evangeline patted the girl on the head.

"What makes you think you are ugly?" she asked.

Violett sighed. "I.... I'm flat, tiny and scrawny, nobody likes freckles, and I don't have eyes that sparkle in the sunlight... I'm worried I'll lose her."

"Has she shown any sign of disdain towards you?" she asked, holding the girl close.

Violett shook her head. "No... She's just... a little distant sometimes. If Miss Kari disdained me, I don't think we'd be sharing a room... I'm just... You know... Scared someone came first... I... I don't know much about her yet... She's baeuatiful, and very kind, but... you know... she doesn't talk about herself much. She's been nothing but kind to me and Katrina, though..."

Violett's cheeks lowed brightly as a small smile crept across her face. "You're right, it's stupid of me to get all worked up over it.... Miss Kari can love more than one person, and as long as she loves me, that's what matters, right?"

Violett nearly kissed Evangeline, but caught herself before thei lips made contact. "Thank you."

Evangeline blushed as they nearly kissed. She looked away, her face as red as a cherry.

"Y-you're welcome." she said. "So where is Kari right now?"

Violett blushed too, though not quite as brightly, drawing back a little.

"I don't know... I think she's back in our room... Do you want to meet her, or are you just curious?"

"Do you mind if I meet her?" she asked.

Violett shook her head, smiling softly. "Of course not... Just remember I'm Clingy Jealous Girl and I would die or even kill for this woman without a second thought."

Violett giggled, smiling sheepishly... Like she just realized she'd been a little too honest. "So, shall we?"

"<_<...."

There was a moment of silence between the two.

"O.....k...... well, let's go... and don't worry, I won't steal her from you."

The two made their way to Kari's room; music could be heard on the other side, followed by laughing.

Hearing the music and laughter, Violett knocked on the door rathr than letting herself in. "Kari.... It's Violett. You busy?"

The music stopped, and the door opened to reveal a very beautiful girl. Evangeline was stricken at how beautiful she was. Caramel skin, Blonde hair, and very unique pointed ears. Evangeline believed she was staring face to face with an Elf from Lord of the Rings!

"Hey, Violett!" she said. "I see you brought company... is she a friend of yours?"
