Violett nodded happily, pressing her lips softly to Kari's. "This is Evangeline. I just met her, but she seems nice and helped me get past a nervous breakdwn. Evangeline, this is Kari... "

As Violett wrapped her arms around Kari, it didn't take much imagination to woonder if there should maybe be little cartoon hearts rising from the smaller girl's head.

Kari giggled and hugged the little girl closely.

"Nervous breakdown?" she asked. "About what? And hi, Evangeline." she added, not wanting to seem rude.

"Nice to meet you, too, Kari." she said, bowing.

"I was.... You know... worried that I wasn't good enugh for you, or that you... maybe had a boygriend back home ot something... Standard crisis of confidence.... I guess it was silly of me. It's not like you're the kind of person who says they love someone if it isn't true, and even if you do have a boyfriend..."

Violett kissed Kari softly. "He's not here, and I'm sure he doesn't want you to be lonely. Thank you... Both of you... So much..."

Kari smiled and kissed Violett back.

"Well, don't worry, Violett." she said. "I am not about to dump you or anything. I love you too much."

Evangeline stood back and watched the two girls. They looked like a picture perfect couple.

"See, Violett?" Said Evangeline. "There's nothing to worry about. She apparently loves you."

Violeett beamed, cuddling in close to Kari with a warm, loving smile on her face. "I was a fool to ever doubt her," she replied with a smile. "But I'm sure she'll forgive me, won't you, Kari honey?"

Violett stepped back so she was no longer blocking the doorway, extending a hand to Evangeline. "Sorry for being a human traffic cone... Make yourself at home."

Kari picked up Violett and carried her over to their couch.

"Come on in, Evangeline!" she said. Evangeline walked in and sat on the couch as well.

"Thank you." she said. "So how did you two meet?"

Violett closed the door as Evangeline enterd, blushing a little and smiling.

"Wel, um... I have heavy luggage, and I was supposed to be in room 419... Miss Kari was one of the first people I met on campus, and not only did she help me carry my luggage... She let me move in with her because she didn't have a roomate... And she let KAtrina move in too, so she wouldn't be lonely while she was waiting for her roomate to come back.... But Katrina's not here right now. Anyways, um.... I... I kinda forgot to tell them I'm not using room 419, so I'm keeping it as kind of a spare room, sort of a study space I guess.... Hadn't really told anyone that part until now..."

"I see... well, I think you two make the cutest couple.

Kari went over and knelt down behind Violett, pinching her cheeks.

"Aww!" she squealed. "Thank you, Evangeline!"

She whispered into Violett's ear.

"Hey, how cute would it be to have you two wearing the cutest doll clothes and posing for the camera?" she asked.

Blushing and smiling, Violett giggled and shrugged.

"No idea," she said. "But I'd love to find out. Which ones do you have in mind? I'd love to be a catgirl maid!"

"I have all kinds of outfits we can dress up in." she said. "So how about it? Wanna do it with her?"

Violett nodded eagely, her eyes practically sparklying with delight. "I'd love to, Kari! How did you know I love costumes? This is so esciting! How about you, Miss Evangeline? Please?"

She hugged Kari tight, smiling like a little girl on Christmas morning.

Evangeline was stunned. Were they really serious?

"Y-you want me to...... dress up and take pictures with you all?" she asked, blushing heavily.

Violett nodded, smiling happily.

"It's not like we're asking you to do anything embarassing. All we're saying is if you put on some clothes that don't quite fit right and do some poses in front of a camera, it might be fun!"

Evangeline blushed heavily again; she had never done anything like this before.

"A-a-a-a-alright..." she stuttered, standing up. "I-I-I-I-I guess I'll join in on this..."

Kari smiled and took off her shirt, revealing a small white tank top underneath.

"Don't leave me out of this." she said. "We'll all take turns taking pics of each other."

Smiling happily, Violett kicked off her shoes.

"For all the bad things that have happened here... Times like these more than balance them out."

Taking off her glassses, she set them on the dresser and began pulling off her shirt. Unfortunately, she made the mistake of trying to walk towards her dresser while she did it, and started to lose her balance.
