She though hard about what to do next, although the creature in front of her looked werid and menacing it seem to hold no malice towards her. So she slowly took Kumo Thuy's hand in hers.

pressed a button on her belt a strobe of rainbow lights flashed when it finished they were on the ship]

Beth was feeling nervous and Kumo's attempts to put her fears to rest hadn't been totally successful, but for some reason she trusted this creature. She didn't know why the other monsters she had met on this island had tricked and raped he repeatly, but Beth could feel a strange bond growing between the two of them.
