The gray-skinned woman slipped into the lobby with a small bow of her head. The vest over her chest clung to her form as she strode smoothly towards the table. In her hand rested a simple tray bearing a lightly-steaming teapot and a platter with an assortment of madelines.
"Thank you ever so much for having me over, my dear," she said as she settled the tray on the table and herself into a chair across from her hostess. She poured the warm brown liquid into a pair of delicate-looking cups, then took one for herself as well as a chocolate-dipped snack. "Please, help yourself. There's sugar and cream if you take your tea that way. Now, if you don't find it too rude, I've been meaning to ask you what ellicits those wonderful screams I hear wafting from your den." She smiled pleasantly down at Ashium, her eyes bright with curiousity.

"Ahh, I'm so glad you've noticed. Indeed, when next we find someone to play with, we'll have to set up a little workshop of sorts." She paused to dip the cookie into her tea and take a small bite from it. She surveyed the room more fully as she chewed and let her eyes once more take in the small form of the girl before her. Her warm smile broadened a bit playfully.

Lyra read over her detention slip once more as she walked down to the basement. She had been at this school long enough to know that this was, one..unfair, two..not going to be fun, three, would probably involve a monster, and last but not least..she would be naked before it was all said and done. Oddly, she kept herself in a most reserved posture as she settled back to dunk her cookie into her tea and take another nibble at the moistened treat.

Lyra followed the girl into the room and to the table. She was feeling a little more comfortable at seeing the sweet girl drinking tea with what she guessed was the detention teacher. Taking as seat she smiled bravely at them both.
Reaching out she handed Steel the detention slip thinking she was Miss Ashium, who the girl had been sent to. The page was half full of her transgressions. Lyra could see her reading the list and didn't even bother to blush.
This was crazy she thought as she sipped the tea. Her detention was going to be drinking tea with an innocent girl and a dangerous looking woman? She waited to find out what else was to be done.

Steel finished her madeline before the list of transgressions returned to her. She accepted it and squinted briefly at the page, then ducked a hand into her vest and pulled out a pair of reading glasses. Her eyes scanned the page slowly and carefully as her expression grew continually more sour. She folded the page, set it aside, and shook her head slowly. The glasses came off and were briskly folded, then one end was dipped in the remaining half-cup of tea.
"It's going to be a busy night, I see," she said before biting cleanly through the lens and chewing on one arm of the spectacles. She covered her mouth and demurely slurped the rest of the arm in before continuing. "I haven't seen a list like that in quite some time. You've been an active young lady." The rest of the glasses dipped into the tea and vanished into Steel's lips as she turned her gaze to the pale woman curiously. She frowned, perplexed briefly by a question of ettiquette, then shook her head slightly and decided it would be more proper to stay with the student while they both finished their tea.

Lyra sipped her tea and ate the cookie looking rather shocked as the innocent looking woman said she was Miss Ashium. "I apologize ma'am,' she said politely to the detention teacher.
She gave a slight shrug to Miss Steel. "I didn't do all them things. Half of them are just reasons to punish me," she said truthfully. She saw no reason to lie as she was already in trouble.
"I did masterbate, I didn't wear my ugly underwear, I slept naked, I did have a vibrator in class which I guess means I had a banned item, but the rest are lies," she said firmly. Well they weren't really lies they just were worded wrongly. She didn't feel that it was right to get detention for things that weren't her fault.

The gray woman smiled at the pale one with a strange, knowing smirk. "I carry my work with me here," she said, patting the vest against her side, "and here," she continued, tapping twice at her temple. She lifted her teacup and opened a much smaller pocket on the outside of the fabric coating her otherwise bare chest, then dropped the thing smoothly where it shouldn't have fit. "There, see? Simple as that. Now, back to the matter at hand," Steel said as she leaned back and turned to fix Lyra with a piercing gaze. "Miss Ashium is most correct. The first step in overcoming your delinquency is admitting to the full extent of it, without excuses or shifting of blame."

Lyra said nothing as she sat there between the two feeling uncomfortable. The sweet looking girl was the detention teacher, that shocked her. She could tell just be looking that the other woman was some kind of monster. Hadn't she just eaten her glasses not five minutes ago.

She unfortantly looked down to see that she had finished her tea and cookie. Moving nervously in her chair she looked between the two. "Do you want me to write sentences or a paper on what I did wrong and what I can do to improve my behavior?" Her question was whispered even though she had thought this was something horrible when first arriving.
