Post Re: Practice Makes Perfect (Elise)
She pinches the bridge of her nose. Her eyes are squinted like she has a mean migraine. She sighs, exasperated. She's not particularly angry, more just frustrated, dumbfounded at how ploddingly dense this girl could possibly be. She starts off talking slow, so she's sure the other girl can follow. "Common sense would tell you comparing a girl you barely know to Paris Hilton probably isn't the smartest move. Common sense would tell you that if you can't form a string of words together in a humorous way, then comedy's probably not your bag. Common sense would tell you not to just keep prattling on when you're clearly just about to choke on your own foot. Common sense would tell you I can see right through you like a sheet of saran wrap, so posturing yourself to try and impress me is just going to make you look a damn fool."

"Honestly though, Couldn't care if you were impressed with me or not; I don't care if anyone is impressed with me as long as they don't say anything about my family I'm fine, hell I haven't even finished studying my family's instructions on their most famous balancing manuevers. I'm the first one to admit I'm a novice and completely lost without someone to guide me, I'm just trying to be myself yes it was a bad move but, come on you talk like you're hotter than hell and you're obviously not You have just as many things to learn as I do even if they're not the same sort of damn things! If you had common sense you wouldn't be belittling the girl whose your only hope in this fucking school of improving the security of your little opperation because believe me i'm pretty damn sure I'm the only thief here whose spent every minute of her free time the last six years studying every type of lock and safe manufactured and memorizing locksmithing textbooks!"

She fumed looking up at this girl with quite a bit of fire in her eyes.

"So I compared you to paris hilton who the fuck cares?! If you were sure you weren't like her you would just laugh not get so bent outta shape about it! I have enough common sense to know that much!"

She laughs. It's a rough, harsh rasp of a noise. "Girl, you don't know the first thing about me. You come breaking into my room. When I offer charity, you insult me. When I offer advice, you insult me even more. When I'm obviously getting ready for places to be you make yourself nice and comfortable on my bed. You spill every last detail about your personal life and modus operandi to me with zero knowledge of who I am or what my intents are." Eyes are cool, distant, reserved, not a hint of malice, her voice a vacant and measured calm. "You can leave now."

"Enjoy your new lock; that door won't lock by the way until I finish with it; if you decide you want it so everyone in the school can't get in without a hassle I'll be in room 301."

She scoffed standing beginging to walk towards the door.

"Everyone has a light around them that only a few can see, it's called an aura; it tells the truth whether of not you want it to It showed me your true intents... I know I could trust you by looking at it, You'd have been a good mentor if you could have just kept your head cool. I am sorry for a few of the things I said Elise; but, What you offered wasn't charity, I offered you assistance I had no need to other than my honor. your advice wasn't advice it sounded like you just flaunting superiority..."

She just rolls her eyes, lighting another smoke, finishing up tidying herself up before slipping back out the door.

((fade scene?))
