She winced, turning away from the door as it closed. With a slight sigh, she started to walk, feeling the cold air surrounding her.

The sound of water dripping from some unseen pipe built on top of the soft padding of her feet along the concrete hallway. Bare bulbs dangled limply from the ceiling to illuminate plain metal doors shut against the young woman's sight. At the far end of the passage, plain concrete stairs led upwards and into darkness.

"At least it's not dark..." she said to herself. Despite the fact that there was nobody at all in sight, she felt very vulnerable, and aware of her total nakedness. She raised her hands to try and cover her breasts as well as she could, shivering slightly. After the heat of hte fire, the hallway felt totally freezing.

The bulb directly over Severity's head flickered into darkness. The faint echoes of a horrified scream reached out to graze the young woman's ears. As the light came back above her and the walls on either side came back into view, it became apparent that a horrible, leering face was stained into the wall at her left, as if by the persistent damp of the chilling passage.

She gasped softly as the meagre light disappeared, leaving her alone in the dark of the unfamiliar hallway. An involuntary shudder ran up her back as she heard the scream, which could have easily been her own. When she light returned, she spotted teh face and cried out, before realizing that it was just a water stain. Thoroughly creeped out, she began to speed up, climbing the stairs two at a time.

The light from below faded at the girl's back as she ascended. The straight, narrow passage dipped into complete darkness ahead. Another scream sounded, louder this time, at Severity's back. As she climbed towards the shadows ahead, the steps beneath her bare feet grew slightly slick with dripping water from a series of pipes over head. A single drop landed on her shoulder and seared with heat for a moment.

She jumped as she heard the scream. "Who's there?" she asked nervously, turning her head to try and see what had made that dreadful shriek. Seeing nothing, she continued on. She had to brace herself using teh walls as she climbed, the cement slippery against the soles of her feet. She bit her lip as the drop splashed against her shoulder, almost scalding her.

No response came to her from below. Darkness wrapped entirely around Severity, forcing her to feel along the walls and move slowly on the cold steps as she continued to climb. The only sound now was that of more drops falling down and landing on the stairs.
Far in the distance, a small, gray patch of light became visible to promise some semblance of freedom from the shadows. Something suddenly hissed behind the young woman like a dozen angry cats, and a heavy thud echoed at her back as whatever it was landed on the stairs.

She gasped at teh hissing noise, her pace unintentionally quickening. Due to the increased rate at which she climbed, the fact that she couldn't see, and the wetness of the stairs, she slipped. Her midriff landed firmly on the corner of a step, temporarily winding the girl.

Six hands closed on the girl's legs and pulled them against what felt like the strong, broad chest of a man. Heat pressed past the cold from the body, and bright red eyes shone through the shadows to lock onto Severity's. Two of the hands released her now-restrained legs and grabbed at her sides to haul her over the creature's shoulder. With another hiss, it began heading up the stairs once more with a winding but oddly smooth gate. As the gray approached, the thin outline of a great serpent's tail came into the view the student was treated to from over her new captor's back.

She winced, feeling the heat of the... thing's body against hers. "No... no please..." she said quietly, but she didn't feel safe struggling, with who knows how many hard stairs behind her. Besides, it's not like it could get any worse for her...

The gray light washed over the beast to reveal its shape to its prey. The upper body of a pale man was grafted to a long, brown serpentine body marked with brighter diamonds. Six arms reached and wrapped tightly around Severity tightly as it turned towards the light with another hiss and pulled itself up the rest of the stairs. A dark hole in the wall sat at the top of the passage, and the creature pulled its prey through it and into a strange sort of nest made of tattered clothing and what appeared to be a few discarded bones.

She whitened visibly, unable to do anything but squirm against him as he took her into the nest. "Please, just let me go," she begged softly, staring at him. A small part of herself was informing her that she knew she would end up submitting to his will- a part of herself that had lain uncovered until she had met Steel.

The strange beast dumped the girl unceremoniously onto a pile of old uniforms. Another hiss curled from its lips, though the sound was far more pleased this time. The smile on its face flashed long, sharp fangs at Severity as its arms writhed to either side of it to snatch up flat strips of cloth. It slithered forward and grabbed out for her limbs to try and bind wrists and ankles together.

As she landed, she noticed the bones and winced. That didn't look promising at all... She was lost in her own thoughts when he bound her, only realizing what was happening when she felt the cloth wrap around her limbs.
